Oh dear. The rooms are tired. Furniture is pretty banged up. Staff were unfailingly nice. Very understaffed however, as we were on hold for 15mins. at 1 in the morning and finally gave up. Wanted to move as the HVAC was not working. Please let guests know BEFORE booking that there is no room service except for a limited breakfast period. When will Casinos allow smoking to small confined places It made us physically ill. Paying for wifi 13.00 a DAY, Parking $13 -20 a day. Movie rentals were 19.00!! no HBO or SHOWTIME. Rereading this, there was not much to recommend. Birthday bummer for the husband.

Overpriced, outdated and noisy. No fridge, microwave or even coffee maker in the room. Especially stay away from the Mountain Tower. Entire place reeks of cigarettes. Dog friendly is nice, but barking dogs all night combined with the nightclub below equals no sleep. Not much in the way of food. I guess they expect everyone to go through the tunnel to Hatrahs to eat. Wonderful view of the parking lot and air conditioning units. Run down rooms with turn wallpaper and dirty air vents. Resort fees + parking fee per day. Never again will I stay there.

Room was very nice except it smelled like pot when we got to the room. Would be nice for some folks but for those of us that are not drug addicts it was terrible! Especially for a non smoking room!!

If the shower wasn't so amazing we'd be giving it a 3. Talk about a shower that can wash any sin away! It was awesome!

Hotel definitely needs to work on fixing and updating a few things. They make you pay $8 for parking. Normally I would have argued with them over it cause that's just a dishonest fee thrown in at the end but I was too tired to argue. They also make you pay a resort fee. ATM has an $8 charge

Room was bigger than average basic hotel room. Surprised we didn't have a fridge or microwave with all the extra room. I thought those were standard now days.

Did I mention the shower was awesome? Not sure if it was just room we were in or every room. Best water pressure ever in the one we stayed in.

I loved Tahoe it's so beautiful. The lake view rooms have a great view of the lake I'd recommend getting a higher floor if room views are your thing. Nice casino good late night food options. Friendly check in staff. Highly recommend

Oh man, living here and having gambling facilities right down the street is a curse and blessing all wrapped up into a ball of highs and lows. Sometimes your flush and sometimes your going home saying to yourself, what the hell, now I gotta work extra hours to make up for the depleation of my funds... its fun though. Enjoy your visits always

I have never had a worst experience except for in Los Angeles with a hotel search booking they have not a clue what they're doing the right hand of the business does not know what the left hand is doing I do not understand if there are such on the entertainment capital of the world how they can treat people so badly when they come to work on their facility from here out I won't stay at Harvey's Harvey's will have to pay for another hotel room because two years in a row I got put in a room that was meant for an animal a pet room which I do not have pets with me and I don't smoke and I asked for a non-smoking room and that's what I got two years in a row this year I got a decent room but they locked me out of it after a day I had to go back down to the front desk and fight with them because I was going to be there in Earth extended day Harvey's is not a people friendly Place anymore whoever took it over needs to have an examination of their desk people

If you stay in the mountain tower prepare to change rooms, so old and run down. We switched to a larger room in the Tahoe tower was like we were in a completely different hotel. The staff there is AMAZONG

Been coming to Tahoe for 40+ years and Harveys always our fav over Harrahs. Lets just say.... We are DONE with Harveys. Rooms run down, staff way less than hospitable, gaming nothing but a loss. I mean.... like NOTHING WINS HERE!!!
Harrahs last chance. Not sure what will happen with buyout either.... heard El Dorado buying both out. Heartbreaking!

Came up between June 27-July 1st. Weather was beautiful. Harvey's staff was great. Probably the most friendly Caesers Members I've encountered. Things are a bit dated but kept clean and up to shape. I loved the room, spacious , dated, but lots of room. Loved the food and best diamond lounge ever.

Harvey's is in a wonderful location so close to all the shopping plazas of South Lake Tahoe. The rooms and hotel are very clean and the staff are very friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Love this place. Just enough of the old Tahoe feel I grew up with updated features to give you everything you need for a great weekend or vacation stay. The Sage Room restaurant is also one of my favorite places to eat in the entire area. It holds the look and feel of the golden years while serving outstanding steaks and other entrees, many prepared table-side. Service is second to none. I'm ready to go back just talking about it.

The room was very nice - even better when it was comped for two nights. There was no coffee pot in the room, but an overpriced Starbucks in the lobby. ($29 for two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches - wow). Cabo Wabo was closed for construction. They are now charging for parking even if you stay there which was unexpected. Casino was slow and not very loose, but it was a short walk to Harrah's where all the action was.

Rooms were clean and nice and the concierge and quick check in was nice but paying fpr parking if you are staying there is not good business practice in my opinion. I like that there is an underground access to harrahs. Next time we will stay at Harrah because they have better restaurants

I give this hotel 1 start because I cannot give less... I booked a room through Expedia, I select luxury king room, at the moment to check in we realize that te didn't want to give us the room we select, they say that they give us an upgrade, and a just recent remodel room, when we walk into the room we realize that the carpet was dirty, and furniture was old and a very bad shape, we cancel our stay and have to look for another room, they offer to give us the room we select but... if what I got at first was an upgrade of what I select I didn't want to take any more risks..

Fun place, need more food selection due to COVID-19 it was a bit difficult getting a reservation. We had to ask for extra towels several times. Other than that love the hospitality. Gorgeous lake views from our room and view of the town.

I felt discriminated , The waitress and the security officer discriminated against me for bringing a tourist visa and passport, and they told me it was false and that if I didn't withdraw they would take me to jail , I've been coming to this casino for years, I never go back

Older room had a HUGE bathroom with separate rooms/areas for the toilet, shower/bath, and another sink. Hotel casino area reeks of cigarette smoke, so beware if you're used to fresh indoor air.

I just returned from a trip to Tahoe, stayed at Harveys for 4 nights. It is listed as a 4 star hotel, it is more like a 2 star. We did get a complimentary upgrade, but the king room was outdated and old and had scuffs on the wall and wallpaper peeling. Views, amazing.

The check in desk was not helpful. Did not talk to us about rewards program or perks. There is NO FREE WIFI, GYM ACCESS, POOL ACCESS. You get charged 26 dollars a day, even if you don't use them. I didn't use them, because I thought I had to pay for them. But, they charged me anyway and not exceptions. I would not recommend harveys and would recommend looking else where. Great location.

Very disappointed that I picked this place for my 25th wedding anniversary. Room was very dated as well as the Casino. We went to Hard Rock to spend our money. So sad I did not have a good room or experience here for our very special occasion. Won't come back.

This is one of the large casino hotels in Stateline. It is also the low end of large casino hotels. If you want high end this is not the hotel for you. If you want inexpensive rates and a very central location then this is the hotel for the. My room was relatively clean but needed updating. One thing to be aware of is to read the fine print on the room rates. It may seem like you are getting a great low rate but huge resort fees are added on that you will discover when you check out. There is also a charge for parking. Had very little interaction with the staff.
