Friendly professional staff, very clean and nice. Good parking, good (better than most continental breakfasts)free breakfast, homey and family atmosphere in the lobby and decorated nice. Highly recommend.
the staff was very rude, the other visitors seemed racist. whenever my family got into a pool, everyone got out and just watched us. we aren't loud, obnoxious people so when i finally caught on i felt bad. other than that the rooms are nice and clean... except for the roaches. i don't recommend this place to even a homeless person.

We had not intended on staying at this hotel initially. We had a horrendous experience at a hotel down the road and you were thankfully able to take us, which made our trip! The front desk team has hands down the best customer service, they were so kind, welcoming, and helpful! Faye and Carrie went out of those way to make our stay! They found a laptop charger for my husband when I made mention we d need to check out early and miss the pool due to that! It made for such a happy mom and kiddo getting to stay and enjoy some more sun! We had such an enjoyable experience! Thank you so much for great service!
Need to find anything in this hotel? Good luck. Worst signage ever. I understand the small parking spots, but if people go to the other levels, maybe, again, you could include some signs as to how to get back upstairs without going up the dangerous ramps. Fitness center is a joke, and it's on the second floor if you're lost because the signs only point to the pools.

This was the WORST hotel we stayed at during our stay in Myrtle Beach. When checking in my card was swiped for someone else's reservation as the young man made a mistake. Only through him asking where Fort Mills, SC was (we had no clue, we are from VA) did he figure out he had the wrong guest. Our family took the shuttle and the driver complained about being over worked and that they needed another van. So the response times were slow. And, our room literally smelled like urine when you turned the air off. The rest room wasn't clean. There was hair in the shower that didnt belong to us. And the ceiling looks like it was caving in. When I told the lady at check out, she was not very apologetic and moved me right along. I would give it 0 stars but Google won't let me. We stayed at the Double Tree and Ocean 22 during this week. This doesn't compare AT ALL!

Guaranteed 4 PM check in. Showed up at 3:30 PM. They recommended a restaurant that was closed. Had to drive south to find a place to eat. Recieved a phone call at 4:24 PM. We asked for early booking. The front desk service is nice but fake and under trained. We wouldn't reccomend for first floor suite, or any visit. We felt treated like second class. One star!
Extremely disappointing & ruined our trip. The pictures are not accurate. The rooms are rundown, carpet so filthy we didn t dare walk barefoot in our room, & the staff were rude when you just asked for more towels or to have your trash emptied. The mandatory mask policy was rarely enforced. The staff didn t wipe down any of the elevators or pool areas which is just irresponsible with COVID-19.

What sets this apart from other area hotels is nine little pools for the kiddos, including a lazy river you can float around on an inner tube. Great ocean views. Parking was never hard to find.

Wonderful experience hotel was clean right on the beach and they allowed us to hang out on the property for a couple hours after check out due to our evening flight I will definitely be back great staff and breakfast
We have stayed at this hotel every year for the last 19 yrs when we come to Myrtle Beach. It has never been a disappointment. Great friendly staff, and good location near the attractions, but away from busy traffic.
Probably not the best Hampton we have stayed in. Service could have been better for a group of 53 quests of mature ages.
Room was nice but the parking is very tight, they don't manage the beach chairs or umbrella concessions so you can't reserve through the hotel. Also, when we arrived no one was available to help us move bags or even provide us with a cart so I had to do that on my own with pregnant wife and two year old.
Booked the last room in the hotel this past weekend! No hassle parking, rooms were clean and even though ocean front wasn't available, ocean view was still great. I'll definitely visit again....no issues!
This place is Myrtle Beach's best kept secret... Hands down the very best beach front hotel in MB. Prefect in every way! Impecable rooms, amazing staff, two delicious breakfast areas, well kept pools, including two large whirlpools, and 1st class sunrises!

The location is ideal in my opinion! Close to so much shopping, the boardwalk, and helicopter rides :-) and I was thrilled to see that the room was spotless! They seem to want to bend over backward to make your stay very good. It is also good for bringing young children.

The location is amazing. The cleanliness is not. The pools are open and filled with trash, dirty diapers, plastics bags, cigarette butts. The staff aren t wearing masks. Our room is marginally clean. Some remotes in plastic bags, others not. Dirty dishes in cabinets. The common areas are filthy. The elevators are horrible! The potential here is fantastic, the execution however is not.

I needed to get away for a few days of rest and relaxation and this hotel did the trick! The hotel feels luxurious and comfortable. I had a oceanfront room with a wonderful view and room was clean. I will be back.
We love the place it's nice,rooms big and very clean . Only little bit disappointed that we didn't get ocean view. When we booked the rooms we chose ocean side , thoughed it was meant to be ocean view. At front desk they told us we should book FULL Ocean view. They could not help us with this issue

Just checked-in here at the Hampton Inn & Suites on S. Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. I was told that our room would be a 2 bedroom suite when it was booked. Checked in, just walked to the room and it s a standard room. I called the front desk to question the mix up and was told I don t know, that is what was booked and the Hotel is full so I don t know what to tell you. In a nonchalant manner. Basically take it or leave it!

This hotel is in a great area. I would have preferred to be closer to the boardwalk though. The rooms were clean, and had Neutrogena products in the restroom. The pools were lovely, there were two lazy rivers, three pools, a baby pool, and a children's play area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and the ocean view is unbeatable.

The staff were all excellent and friendly. All staff wore masks and masks were required inside the building for guests (except when eating breakfast.) We had an ocean balcony room on the second floor which provided an amazing view of Myrtle beach. The room itself was clean but a little outdated for the price I paid (was excepting more modern/new especially being a Hilton resort.) The hotel also has about 8-9 different pools on the ground floor and one kiddie pool which was so great for our 2 year old. The beach was just steps away as well. The interior of the hotel is nicely decorated in nautical style and a continental breakfast is currently being served a little different due to Covid - brown baggie style with fruit selection, yogurt, granola bar, muffins, bagels and assorted juices, cereal and milk. Better than nothing I suppose! We had a lovely stay and would choose this hotel again.

- The lobby area has the best seats in the house.
- Multiple outdoor pools to include a Lazy River
- Indoor pool and a indoor Jacuzzi-type pool.
- Nice Workout area. Not very big but gets the job done.
- Awesome complimentary breakfast.
- It doesn't have a Bar or Restaurant on the premises. The rooms aren't very big. There's a parking deck attached to the hotel, but very tight parking for SUV's.
- Very clean and nice staff. If you forgot any, you are literally less than 1/2 of a mile from Walmart, Gas Stations, Dollar Store, Pool Clothing Stores, and Pharmacies.
- It's located one block up from Damon's Restaurant..... I really recommend this for ribs, steaks, salads, etc.

I really enjoyed this hotel. Very clean. The staff was pleasant. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was soft and fresh. Gorgeous oceanfront views. The breakfast was delicious and such a nice treat. So many amenities to enjoy and this hotel gets it right with attention to detail. The computers in the business center were high end as well as the fitness center equipment. Do yourself a favor and stay here.
Our client, touring musician Shelby Raye, recently stayed here while on tour and was very glad they did! The room was perfect, and the staff was super friendly (even with the really late check-in.) There was a great breakfast in the morning and a fitness room to really help get motivated the next morning before hitting the road. Not often am I happy about every little detail at a hotel while traveling . This is the exception , hotel was excellent in every way . Great customer service , nice rooms , nice location . Free parking and a really nice free breakfast for the cherry on top ! I ll be back here next time i visit Myrtle . Did I mention they don t want to hold a billion dollars for deposits either ? Cort the manager is one of the best in customer service. We were left stranded after a Expedia and then a Bluegreen Vacations mix up and headache. With 4 children and me 6 months pregnant we we're welcomed and most of issues resolved with his help. We went on to have a pleasant vacation with his help and we will be back on better terms and can't wait to see them again.

Beyond embarrassed to even step foot in this place.! As me and my wife were checking in with our 2 child the woman at front desk was on her personal phone,I assume texting someone I m not exactly sure but after the second attempt of my wife trying to get her attention.I kindly walked up myself saying accuse me mama we would like to check in she replied you know we have E-check in right followed by a grunt and sigh...I m not sure what kind of expectations they hold themselves to but this was completely rude and unprofessional on a whole new level.I have never experienced anything like this before.No to mention when I ask to speak with the manager she had the audacity to inform me they didn t have a manager and if I would like to speak with someone else I would have to wait until her shift was over...Hopefully if you decide to stay at this Hampton location your stay goes better then ours did.We ended up moving Hotels as well thankfully the next hotel was amazing!

Great staff. Stayed in the South Tower (most recently remodeled). Great view of the ocean. Elevator to Pool Area and 30 second walk right to the beach. Room was clean. Complimentary breakfast was okay, nothing exciting, just the basics, breads were fresh and not stale. Would stay there again.
The Hampton Inn name holds up to its name, though some of the rooms may need some updating, they basically offer safe, reliable, respectable service. They are located ON the beachfront so the salt water/sand could become a factor, but they DEFINITELY are well kept. KUDOS HI&S!! The rate is more than other HI&S mainly because of location.
This hotel was clean, staff were pleasant and it was located right on the beach. It's also a quick drive to get to the boardwalk. Breakfast was tasty too.
I have been coming to this hotel for 8 yr in a row and never had trouble until last year. Had a horrible time with hotel staff I ask and explained what happened last year and want to paid in cash they charge my card even though you paid in cash for the full amount. They corrected it then charge for for another night because they miss calculated on the amount I owe then blamed me for their mistake. Also this is not the first time last year they charge my card twice for the full amount they corrected it but took 7 business to refund my money. They also blamed me for their mistakes.

Cool spot on the beach. Has own parking garage. It's on the southern end of the "strip" with lots of retail and stuff to do. It's about a mile to the center of the action, just north up the road. It's insanely busy there. Great fun for kids and lots to look at.
The pools are nice but small, and after noon the sun dips behind building and puts the pool in a shadow. The beach is only a hundred feet away so it's not a big deal.
If you are using car, your GPS will always be trying to route you up three streets to where there isn't as much traffic, and then drop you back in to where ever you are trying to hit on the beach.

Hubby & I vacationed here for 5 days and LOVED it. I don't have one bad thing to say about this place. The employees know the meaning of great service. Housekeeping does a fantastic job on the rooms. We had a 2 Queen suite on the ocean side. The balcony was really nice. The beach is gorgeous. This hotel has 9 "pools"--5 beneath the 2nd floor (open to the outside), and 4 outside. All were clean. Nice kiddie pools, 2 built-in jauzzi tubs under the 2nd floor. Plenty of lounge chairs around the pools. LOVED the decor of this hotel. Very comfy. Delicious, hot breakfast daily. They also offer free transportation via a courtesy van to any location within 4 or 5 miles of their hotel including pick-up and drop-off at the airport (just tip the driver). Very quiet hotel at night and comfortable pillows/mattresses. It's located on the south end of town, so not in the thick of downtown MB, but if you enjoy peace and relaxation, it's fantastic. We WILL be staying here again in the future!
