Great place to stay with family. Great staff from front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. Awesome free breakfast every morning. We have stayed here several nights and never disappoints.

The lobby and location of this hotel is beautiful, the rooms on the other hand at least the room we were given was in desperate need of an upgrade...while it was clean it was very outdated and in rough shape, one of our beds sounded like it was broken , the bathroom was rough, paint peeling, and rusty shower curtain rod...one half of the hotel was being renovated which we were not aware of when booking. So maybe the side we were on is next...hopefully so. We did complain but there were no other rooms available. The room was not at all what we were expecting, as hilton honor members we only stay at Hamptons or Hilton's this room just wasn't up to par. They may be renovating for the busy season.. IE: The management did get back with us and did let us know that the entire hotel is being renovated, new mattresses, etc. So that was a positive! The location and beach front are beautiful. So on that note I would stay again!

Excellent rooms, wonderful staff, great access to the beach and the strip. My only minor issue is that the amenities are not as good as some other resorts in the area and price point. Still a wonderful resort.

The Acadian room was the perfect confereau room for a small group.

Mixed Feelings
I booked this hotel for our honeymoon based on customer reviews. A few weeks before we left I had seen a review were someone had said the rooms were out dated. Which concerned me. We were staying for a week in a oceanfront suite and its something we will probably never spend money on again. We normally wouldn't do something like this had it not been for recently getting married. I had called the hotel and they explained that half the hotel is newer then the other half. I had explained this is our honeymoon and if at all possible to be in the updated section. The women on the phone was very nice and said she would do what she could for us. She also asked if we liked champagne. I told her yes. And she said that she would have some waiting in our room when we arrived due to us being on our honeymoon.
When we arrived there was a industrial type fan pointing right at our door blowing on it. When we entered our room it smelled musty. And we were for sure not in the updated section. We never did receive our champagne which was disappointing. I did not complain. We were on the road for 8hrs and didn't want to end up being in a worse room then this. I tried to use fabric air freshener but it didn't work. We got used to the smell while being in the room. But every time we entered we had to get used to it all over again. The good thing is after awhile you didn't notice it anymore. The view was nice besides the run down empty lot that was to the right of us. I tried not to look at it and keep my eyes forward while on the balcony relaxing. I was surprised to see we had a balcony off our bedroom as well. But unfortunately that was facing the run down space right next to us. So we didn't use it.
The breakfast where good. My husband is the type who can't eat the same thing day after day. They had a real nice variety of foods. And all the stuff was very friendly. Parking was easy too. Not all floors have a ice machine which I found inconvenient. They seem to rotate washer and dry or ice machine. Cleaning staff seemed very friendly. Whenever I requested something for that day they left if for us. I don't believe they were vacuuming the rugs though which I did notice when I 1st came into our room.
I am not sure if I would stay here again. I think I might like to try more update hotel. Its wasn't the best place I stayed but also not the worst.

Excellent deal for being right on the ocean. Breakfast is free and higher quality than a normal three star. Plenty of pools and 2 hot tubs to choose from. The beach is 50 feet from the hotel. Close to many bars and restaurants. Only 5 min from the airport. The room was very clean and plenty of patio space to look out onto the ocean. Only downsides were that the common area bathrooms were constantly running out of things like toilet paper and the overall service was often rushed.

We had a wonderful time staying here. The view was fabulous from our balcony. Nice clean rooms with comfortable beds. Thank goodness for all the pools to keep grand kids busy. The weather wasnt great so rip currents every day. So was safer to have all the pools to keep them busy. They have a wonderful breakfast bar. That has variety and not the same old stuff every morning. Very friendly staff, was able to check out the board game life to play in room when raining. The pool guy is awesome. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean rooms. Pool area spotless. Great breakfast selection and very clean.
Beds not comfortable. Very surprised at beds. Hampton Inn beds are usually very comfortable that is why we always stay at Hampton Inn.

I love staying at this property. I ve stayed here several times, it s great for every occasion. Mr. Karon at the front desk is the icing on the cake! His dedication to his job is beyond reproach! He deserves a promotion! I will continue to return because of him

Good location, rooms decent, service has been good. Breakfast ladies keep breakfast foods stocked. Downside is our room bands would just deactivate so we would have to go to the front desk frequently to have them reactivated. Mini fridge in the room won't stay shut all the time.

My husband, daughter and I just returned home from our stay last week. From check-in with Karon, whom was the most personable and funny front desk worker we have ever encountered. After a long drive in the car he was cheerful, funny, helpful and most of all made us feel very welcome. We stayed on the 8th floor of building 1 with an oceanfront room. It was beautiful! Clean and refreshing and the view was just what I needed. The 2 rocking chairs and little table out on the balcony were great for relaxing after a day on the beach and my favorite time out there was watching the sunrise all week long. We had no problems with the elevators at all and the parking garage was nice .. we always managed to get a close spot and our Dodge Charger fit perfectly! The pools were always clean. The only comment I would make is that maybe they have a second bigger pool outside as that was always full of kids, even though they had lazy rivers... or maybe even just have a few times during the day just for "adults" The entire staff at the hotel was great and very friendly. Always greeted with a smile and a kind word. Breakfast was very good, good choices and having the coffee, tea etc. 24/7 was a plus!! As we always stayed at a rented house, I will always rethink that option as I now have this hotel to compare that too! One more comment, this hotel is down the Strand a bit, but still close to EVERYTHING! Being down a bit was much more comfortable and peaceful!! Hope to be back again next year!! Thank you all for a great vacation.

Great stay, you get an entire vacation with each stay. Ocean view rooms at am extremely reasonable price with access to your own private view overlooking the shore with rocking chairs and table. Option to book adjoining rooms for larger groups and multiple pools indoors and out for any season access to aquatic activities. Walking distance to shopping with breakfast and all day snacks on site.

Beautiful room. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Spacious balcony. With table and rocking chairs. Common areas very clean . Breakfast, multiple pools, lazy river and kiddie water area and swings. Steps away from ocean. And people are keeping their distance unless in the same groups. Parking garage. I feel Very safe here. Social distanting and mask required due to COVID in common areas. Working vacation and no issues with internet with 3 devices going at once with multiple programs running on each. Lots to do in the area even with the virus but bring your mask. They are required everywhere you go on the inside of public areas staff friendly and not a fakefriendly, actually friendly. . Will definitely return again

Parking was a small challenge and breakfast area is very busy. Room was nice and clean - suite with full kitchen.

Loved the amenities at this hotel. They have many pools and even a lazy river. The lobby also has fresh baked cookies that come out at 4pm everyday. Our actual room was very nice and had an updated feel. We also loved the view of the beach. I'd say the only downside of this hotel is that the beach chairs and umbrella cost $35 per day. Very pricy! I suggest bringing your own. Overall though, we had a pretty good experience here!

Good oceanfront room with view of the ocean. Clean and everything working properly (cold air conditioning and mini fridge). Concierge is very helpful with suggestions and discounts for area attractions and dining. Everything I expect from a Hampton Inn, including those great cookies!

Staff is nice and friendly! Pretty clean except for a build up of dirt in the corners of the room which has to make uwonder about the rest of the cleaning practices! But it does appear clean except for the build up of dirt in the corners. In most of the corners it seems like a scraping palate and tooth brush will be needed to get them cleaned!

Clean rooms. A little busy.. but it was expected in the area. Excellent pool area and clean beach.

Beautiful view from 14th floor! Will go back. Terrific breakfast served every morning. Who needs lunch with such breakfast offerings available?

We had a great time both times we've stayed here. During the off season. Hot tubs, indoor pools, staff was very nice. Complementary breakfast every morning. Lots of different items for breakfast. Rooms were really nice. 12th and 14th floors.

Staff has been very friendly and helpful. Room could use an update as bathroom has peeling paint in a number of spots. A number of pools, all of which are on the small side. Fun water play area for younger children.

Checked in yesterday front desk is friendly it's wonderfully maintained and it's right on the beach it's family friendly it's couple friendly it's near everything amusement rides restaurants it's a great stay.

Great place for families right on the beach. They also have free breakfast and cookies for the "kids". Several restaurants within walking distance. Nice and friendly staff. What can I say it's a Hampton Inn.

The amenities and the beach view are great, but what really sets this hotel apart from the rest is the fantastic customer service. If hotel staff were a professional sport, the two gentlemen who work the front desk at night are my Franchise players. Every time I stay here it is like running into two long time friends and they treat you like one of their own. I travel regularly for work, and hands down this is my all time favorite place to stay. Highly recommend.

Very nice rooms, great view, comfortable beds.

Only downside is that the line to get breakfast is usually longer than it should be.

Great customer service at this place. The view and sound of the ocean from the room was nothing short of breathtaking. The hotel is very large. The place is separated by two sides North and South. I recommend the 14th floor because of elevators as well as the views. Several eateries and gift shops care close to the establishment. There is a Walmart less than a block away. The hotel has 8 pools and all are different with unique qualities. I d definitely go back. I highly recommend this experience.

Don't plan on staying here if you are not at least 25, not even if you are millitary. Always read the fine print. Hampton let me down this time.

Very nice hotel, and amenities, shame though that hotel staff does not wear masks during this rising numbers Pandemic. The hand sanitizer dispensers are empty. Morning staff was wearing her mask. They have a lovely breakfast to go. It nat have been a 1-off because today masks are being worn. even the taxi cab driver had a mask on today; so evidently, last night no masks is not area policy, just those individuals. So, come enjoy this breathtaking area, and this hotel would be a fun place for the whole family to enjoy the lazy river, and a wonderful breakfast.

1st stay was good few years back wa awesome but this stay not so much.

ZERO COMFORTABLENESS at least my room maybe it's time to change the mattress in room I stayed.

The south tower downstairs sliding glass door has been down since I've been here.

Love the place it has two big hot tubs, two lazy rivers, two toddler size 1ft deep pools and 3 swimming pools one outside and two indoors/under sealing. The guy that checked us in was very friendly, our room was very clean and the breakfast was good not the typical buffet because of the pandemic going on instead we got a lunch bag. The good thing is that you get to choose what you put in it. But overall it was a great stay and we had an awesome view of the beach our room was ocean front so we got to woke up with the sunrise .. I really recommend this hotel if your going to Myrtle Beach.

Beautiful hotel with beautiful heart pine floors and Great decor. Balconies with rocking chairs and wonderful views. Absolutely the best breakfast ever and dining facilities! Great pools with several children's areas. The only thing that I had an issue with was the beds. They were very uncomfortable to all of our party, not just me. I thought maybe it was my being so tired the first night and the next would be better...but it wasn't. They were just uncomfortable to all of us.

Beautiful resort with easy access to the beach. Many pools and hot tubs. A lot of activities for children also. Loved our stay.

One of the nicer and more family-friendly hotels on the strip. I'm a SC native and have stayed in a lot of places in MYR. On this side of the strip nice hotels are sparse. With Hampton you know what you're getting and what to expect.

Great Hotel. Very clean and comfortable beds are number one on my list and they did not disappoint. Very clean. Good size rooms. Had a great view. The Brekfast is awesome. Changes some everyday. Staff very friendly and helpful. Almost forgot to mention... warm cookies at 4:00 pm. AWESOME! Pool, exercise room and huge lounge area with view .

Enjoyed our short family getaway. Room was nice and kids enjoyed the pools. Breakfast was fine except for the two mornings (Sat/Sun April 22+23) we were there one of the staff (Alex per name tag)was rude, frowning and had demeanor expressing she was annoyed, disgusted with and seemed to obviously not like her job. I noticed her snatching trays, food containers during clean up and really just conveying a hateful attitude either toward her job duties, the patrons or both. My 6 year old had gotten sick the night before and we were trying to ensure she was getting enough to drink. It was a few minutes after 10, we had finished breakfast and attempted to get daughter a cup of water which we found with juice machine. It had been cut off so I asked if we could just get a cup of water and staff rolled her eyes, slight huff but opened machine to turn on briefly for us to get a cup of water. This staff member exhibited annoyance and seemed angry about her job both days and this encounter confirmed what I observed on the previous morning. I have visited this hotel chain throughout the Country and have never witnessed or experienced this previously.
Otherwise had nice stay but probably would try somewhere else next time since attitude, courtesy and politeness go further than any other amenities offered.

Nice hotel with a decent breakfast. Had a great time at the pool area.

We had a great time. Staff was awesome and the breakfast was too! We will definitely come back. We forgot to take advantage of the free cookies after 4pm every day. The only complaint I would have was the toilet seat was a little loose and not set up high enough and better water pressure from shower.

Great stay for a family of 4! Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the balcony too! The public lobby spaces are clean and there are lots of places to sit and relax. The indoor pool and hot tub is well maintained. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. I would also highly encourage anyone thinking of a Myrtle Beach trip to stick with a branded hotel chain...there are many dreary resorts on the strip. This Hampton location lives up to the Hilton reputation.

So let me start by saying I was skeptical about staying here at first only because I didn t see many videos on YouTube.I must say this is one of the best hotels I ve stayed at so far .The staff was beyond amazing the family two bedroom suite ocean front with balcony was perfect and the beach view was so nice.I would recommend buying food though since COVID 19 they only had cold breakfast.The room was cleaned perfect but we did go back and sanitize everything just for safety I ll definitely stay here again !!

They had the perfect room available when our other plans suddenly turned sour and were perfectly accommodating.

The Good: great location, beautiful beach, very clean, and rocking chairs on patio overlooking the ocean. The not so good: The beach chair rentals are thirty five dollars for two chairs per day. The helicopters constantly flying over the beach. Recommendation: Buy beach chairs and umbrella at one of the many beach supply shops or bring your own.

Suites are outdated, but the service and the access to the beach definitely made up for it!

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Beautiful clean updated hotel. So many pools, great place to stay. Even the free 4 oclock cookies were delicious. Only con is that noone follows pool rules so there can be alot of chaos in the pool area. We tried to go down when it seemed less crowded so that we could still enjoy our time.

Things are a little different because of Covid, but over all great stay. Staff very accommodating.
