The food and service was great. We ate the day's menu, that included 4 dishes. For starter we had Finnish beef tartar and Finnish white fish tartar. The taste and look were amazing. Next we had cold soup made mainly from tomatoes and strawberries, and in the middle was cucumber, oil, etc. The taste was interesting and fresh, but not my favorite. For me the strawberry indicates for desserts, so the taste just couldn't fit for the soup. For third dish we had Finnish arctic char, cauliflower puree, carrots, and sauce, etc. Again, the taste was awesome. The fish was melting in your mouth and it had a nice smoky flavor, but not too much, and it was still moistur. For dessert we had creme brulee with rhubarb, sorbet, etc. It was again amazing. And almost everytime different persons were bringing the different dishses, still they were all the time polite and aware, what we had earlier got and what feedback we had told about the food. Only small minus comes from the tight space for tables and seats. But definitely I will come again to this restaurant and will warmly recommen for others! Just remember to reserve seats before going to the restaurant. :)

5 stars for Aito and 0 stars for Google! Excellent ambiance, wine, food and staff. I would have thought they d have great cocktails too given Google s description Great cocktails . When I asked for a Manhattan they said, no, we only do G&Ts . Hats off to this restaurant though, a top cozy dining experience in Helsinki.

I was bothered by a large group, but my husband and I had a vegan course. I don't think such vegan courses are so rare. I was impressed by the chef's efforts, skills and care. Helsinki was a really nice city, vegan friendly.

Great wines, good food respectful of the season and Finnish traditional tastes. However the staff could put a little effort in telling loud, rowdy tables to calmn down. A singular experience perhaps, but it kind of ruined the mood for me (half a points worth).

Great food, lovely service, adapted to my dairy allergy well and without prior notice. The food was excellent with a couple outstanding portions. Wine pairing was mostly good with one miss in my opinion. Would definitely go again. Prices are not awfully high for Helsinki, but still very much in the fine dining range. The staff can speak English pretty well, but you might miss some stories of you don't speak Finnish.

Very nice service. The food is very nice, and predictable, but has some fun twists here and there that make it nice. The place was full of people and I didn't feel as relaxed as I would have wanted, but that shouldn't stop you.

A most enjoyable 4-course surprise menu with delicate combinations and refined tastes. Also, a very good selection of wines. However, the menu was in only one language as was the service. Otherwise friendly and competent. The selection of Finnish cheeses was a real hit even if we started the tasting from the strongest of the three.

I took a guest professor from South Korea, who had visited Helsinki for the fourth time, to this restaurant for a dinner. By the end of it, he called it the best dinner he had ever had in this city. We ordered the menu of the day and were More

Good value for money on Saturday lunch. Finnish food with some nuances in the direction of France. Appropriate efforts had been made to present the portions and seasonal products such as pumpkin and lingonberries had also been used as raw materials. The menu of 3 dishes became suitably full, maybe for the super hungry the whole is just enough. Serving fast and friendly.

Excellent lunch offering Mo-Fr. It s slightly more pricey than the usual but offer value. A particular delight is that they quite regularly have some pike variation on the menu.
Dinner is also good but slightly overpriced.

Atmospheric block restaurant with knowledgeable, courteous, uncomplicated and friendly service.
The four-course menu was fresh (Fressi), the tastes simple and clear, but tasty and well-structured.
Although the restaurant was relatively crowded so acoustically the space works well and no volume rises and the space echoes.
Very good experience

The food and drink was good. Service great.
We ate menus with four dishes.
This restaurant is reportedly fish dishes is what you should eat and true it was.
The wine menu was very appropriate for the side of the food chosen. Well-chosen wines that you can't find in yourself.
It is a relatively small and popular restaurant, so a table reservation is probably necessary in most cases.
I highly recommend this restaurant. Thanks to them.

Atmospheric little restaurant, maybe too cramped. The waiters are friendly and knowledgeable. The starter soup and dessert were excellent, the main course duck did not please any of our party. Price.

Great restaurant. Small and cozy. The service was friendly, but it took a while to get the food. The doses were delicious. The hunter's bread in particular was good. The main course was beef breast, which was good too. Prices were high.
