GOD forbid there's an emergency like a fire or an earthquake where people have to get out quickly. ------There is no regard for keeping the exit routes clear and some exits were blocked with ropes. Idk how the fire department hasn't gotten involved. This place doesn't care for maximum capacity per floor
NO DJ is worth someone getting trampled over.
Rude staff, too crowded, expensive and not worth the super long wait to get in. Can t use your electronic vaporizers but you can smoke cigarettes, sucks for people that are quitting smoking
Drinks, as in every club right on the strip, way too expensive. Admission cost $ 60, though no special DJ was there. No seating if you do not treat yourself to a VIP lounge.

It's just very expensive
We got added to a guest list so we didn't have to pay to get in. The guest list gave us 2 free drinks, but we weren't there in time to receive them, and bummer too, because the well drinks and beers are over $20. The dance floor was expansive and the layout made it not too crowded to move around, and the lights on the ceiling are mesmerizing. The DJ who was playing before the night's artist (Lil Jon) was unbearable. He switched between trendy sing along songs every 15-25 seconds, which made for terrible dancing. It was irritating trying to adjust to a new beat just as you got into one. We left after 25 minutes. Overall, the positives: an interesting venue with a good sound system and cool light shows. The negatives: drinks are an absolute rip off and warmup dj was rough.
Door staff were rude. I am attending a premier event that grants complimentary access to the club tonight and I skip the line. I show my badge, we get through, stamped, to the register lady and doorman on the right, doorman questioned me multiple times if the woman with me was my wife as if we are walking into a church, then they tried charging both of us cover. Does not honor advertising. Changing this to two stars from one because they complimented us to go in on Monday w some free drinks to a different club that was okay.
I had an awesome time who was in VIP and didn't even have to standing in line the long long long line it was a cool experience

Great service, music, and world-class DJs. Security is tight and the people are fun and friendly. Even when there is an issue, the staff gives the customer the benefit of the doubt and tries to reach a favorable experience for all guests involved. Always a great user experience.
While there were no hippos and whales as promised, there were dozens of leaking douchebags on the dance floor and I slipped and fell on my buttocks.

I went two nights in a row, once of 07/03/15 to see tiesto and again on the 4th to see or at least attempt to see dada life. On the 3rd my experience was pretty damn good. Tiesto came on around 1AM and got up close and personal, maybe we were 10 feet away from him. Had a pretty awesome time....now I wish I could say the same for the 4th of july . We were the first to arrive at 1030 along with the pub crawl folks (BTW don't waste your money on that BS) we were told by a douche bag bouncer that no reentry was allowed if we were to leave the club even though tickets were already paid for....so we left the club waaay before dada life came on as we had plans for a show at 11:30....bottom line is, do not be the first to arrive there unless you want ro spend 5 hours standing on a crowded dance floor before the main DJ comes on.
PS: drinks are pretty pricey so bring money to blow.
The waiter was very responsive and quick. Food and flavor was out of this world. It provided incredible vegetarian options. The dessert, especially the chocolate filled dumplings, were amazing. Overall incredible experience!!

For a person in their 30s, it's a great place to dance early on in the night. But once it gets filled with other people, it loses more of it's awesome dance feel and more of a place to meet people.

I had a very bad experience yesterday when Tiesto was playing. I bought 3 shots and was charged $60, I payed $100 and they only gave me $20 back and the bartender ripped me off. I checked the reviews and went to Hakassan but it's not worth it. I had a terrible experience.
Been here twice now for dj headliners. Nice club but poor layout (small walkways and small general dance area) make things very unpleasant on a busy nite. Will not come again, much prefer XS or Omnia.
Never again. We came with a group of 11 (8 girls and 3 guys) and every promoter gave us a different price to get in, which is normal. However, when we got there the bouncers started giving us ridiculous prices, even for the girls. This was around 2:30am...what a joke.
Tiesto was great, but the bar staff was extremely rude. I was screwed over and charged $100+ for 3 drinks because I complained about the drink prices to a bartender. Of course I didn't catch the extra charges on my bank statement before I'd thrown away my receipts to present it as fraud. Be leary of the staff at this club! Lots of great, big name DJ's, but a staff who will scam you if you're not careful.
This club was over packed. WAY over packed. shoulder to shoulder every where you went. The bouncers were rude they were shoving through the crowd and basically knocked my cousin to the ground and when she said something to him he automatically called her very rude names like it was her fault. On top of the DJ not playing till extremely late it was a total bummer!!!it took forever to make your way to a different floor or to even get out. I also got my purse and phone stolen and getting someone to help me took a life time to just file a report.
I will never go back to this club.
Horrible experience, the dance floor is very small, super crowded!! Very unsafe and uncomfortable to dance or enjoy the music!! The staff is extremely unfriendly and unhelpful!!! I had very bad experiences with one of "lady" stuff who was using a flash in my eyes and blaming me for something I had no idea... Very low level of professionalism!!! Go to Hakkasan if you want to be robbed by the club...
We went to Hakkasan, rented a table for the night to celebrate our wedding for $2500. Wife and friend went to the bathroom after 2 drinks, tripped on the stairs on the way out in the dark night club, bouncers Kicked them out of the club for being 'drunk', would not let them come back to the table to tell us, would not let the girls get their purses at the tables.
Girls asked bouncers to at least come tell us and let us know, bouncers didn't do this but did send someone by our table who seemed like they were looking to steal money from purses who worked for Hakkasan security. My wife's boss came on a girls trip weekend before, exact same thing happened to them but they when they had all their purses returned from the 'VIP' section, everything was in there but their money was gone.
Me and my friend (other husband) waited for half an hour waiting for wives to come back, we then had security check everywhere, found out ladies got kicked out because they tripped on a step, never had money refunded though they offered us a 'free night' because of the problem (we paid for a night already so not really free).
Love Vegas, but more and more this stuff seems to be happening there, Hakkasan is the worst and club security is there to steal your money... lol from their VIPs.
Most have a great time here but seems like they target 1 VIP table per night when busy.
Here's the main issue. You can't see anything. Was there for Tiesto. Because you have everyone in VIP tables dancing on the tables. You couldn't see anything. If your into bottle service clubs. Lots of d bags and expensive drinks. You'll love it here. Also. Bring earplugs. You will have hearing damage if you don't.
Staff was really rude and they over pack the club. There was a point where my friends and I couldn't move because we were shoulder to shoulder with so many people and it wasn't moving. We ended up having to shove our way through and actually knocking people over to get out. This was a terrible experience and is a serious fire hazard. I'm surprised they are allowed to let that many people into their club at once.
The best part of the MGM Grand hotel is the nightclub Hakkasan. It is literally right in the hotel. It's a walk to meander through the main MGM building, but you've got to go to this beautiful multilevel complex!!! Tiesto was playing techno house on the top floor, and the R&B was bumping on the lower levels. The place was packed, the people were friendly and the whole vibe was about having a good time.

Extremely overcrowded, no where to stand. Calvin Harris didn't come on till about 1:45am it seemed like forever and to top it off... A bouncer let me through his barrier to the bathroom and then to return the same way to get back to my sister and friend, he forced me to tip him $10 to get through. Terrible experience. Disgusting environment to be honest.
Was upset with the experience last weekend. I understand its Vegas so outlandish prices, waits, and crowding are part of it. One of my friends was stopped on our way in by a very rude security officer or whatever they are. His reasoning for stopping us was that the friend of mine had a hat on. Ok fine, I had completely forgotten about it and that's typical for the club scene even back home. However he handles it by saying " throw the hat away now or get out of line" I was in shock about how rude his condescending remark was. He follows up with " its just a hat throw it away now" so we did because I didn't feel like losing my tickets over it. Come to find out 30 feet later we could have checked it in. Maybe its my bad for not knowing that but seriously train your staff to be more appropriate its aweful. It was a brand new hat that I reimbursed my friend for because I felt bad. Maybe the security has it like that where money is of no value but we work hard to have our trips. At the very least id figure a world class place to have respect for their guests. Oh but fedoras are ok apparently.
This place sucks. People at the entry checking your attire dont have ANY sense of style. They just make sure they dont let people in with attire on the restricted list. Just make sure to trow together an outfit with the required items, doesnt have to look good or anything. And thats the crowd, voila. Classic las vegas trash party.
It was an absolutely wonderful club and the music is great and the layout is very nice. Eric, one of the host/doorman was absolutely fantastic and made my experience phenomenal he truly made me feel like I had a true and real vegas experience. Matthew Hunke was equally fantastic and a wonderful host/promoter and will highly recommend hakkasan! Amazing vibe and exceptional customer service! I will no doubt be back the next time I'm in Vegas and will tell all my friends.

Most rudest front end people at the ticketing, you ask a question what s the cover for the entry they usually say we are closed for the night , I m sorry but this guy here says you can come back tomorrow, and laughs That was really rude and offending . I ask them to call their manager and that guy asks what happened , and I explain it to him , and the manager says yea, so come back tomorrow and they laugh together . This little piece of review won t be a matter to them but I had to let them know that they ll have to be more courteous. It s fine if they won t want to let people in , we won t barge in if they say no , but that s not the way to answer .
I wasn't there for too long because the night I went for the first time, I went to meet girlfriends and it was Memorial Day Weekend and the place was PACKED! The DJ wasn't my favorite, had it been better music I may have stayed longer, but I only lasted about 45 min and had to go. TOO packed, too much craziness and lights and glow sticks...if you're not drunk enough, you may have a seizure. If you go, best to probably grab a group, get a booth and some space and purchase bottle service. May find it's more worth it. Either way, it is gonna be VERY expensive. Nothing at the bar, including water, less than $10

Myself and 8 friends tried to go here to see Calvin Harris and our night was ruined by the discriminatory policies and beyond rude security staff. My friend was denied entry because she is on prescribed psychiatric medication that causes her pupils to dilate. Without a single question or explanation she was told to get out of line. The staff would not even listen or answer our questions. We asked to speak to a manager, and the man we spoke to was the most condescending person I've ever encountered. He continuously interrupted me, lied about having us on camera flicking off staff, and threatened to kick us out simply because we were trying to talk. I understand that they have to be watchful for people on party drugs, but people taking medication prescribed by their doctor should not be turned away because of a side effect. To be clear, it's not like she was acting out of control or falling over wasted. I have no doubt they let people in this same night that were completely intoxicated. This review and my friends are only a drop in the bucket of a business that will continue to make millions off a big name, but we will certainly not be returning.

Just like the other reviews say. They re not wrong. Ladies got in free but the guys I was with all had to pay even if you re on the list. It is what it is. Expect it. You re in Vegas. It definitely sucks but we didn t want to focus on this. The club was great and we all had a great time!

Honestly this club was pretty mediocre and I was not impressed! First where you enter the club is super confusing because you get separated into several different lines (guest list, VIP tables, general admission), we got on a guestlist and were given some tickets by some promoter on street, i would not purchase tickets and just get on a guest list online they are free. So then when you are in the correct line you are shuffled around to other lines and it seems like you are going nowhere, expect to wait 45+ minutes to get in unless you have a table. They check your ids about 3 times and stamp you twice which seems very redundant and the staff all have an attitude during the process. Once you get through the line you have to walk up for what seems like 6 flights of stairs cause the elevators weren t working when we visited, then when you get inside the nightclub it s completely packed and waiting for drinks takes another 20 minutes. If you are a guy don t bother waiting because ladies are helped first and expect to pay $20 per drink! Also if you wanna dance don t even think about it cause there is no room to do so. Overall we stayed at this club for about 30 minutes before we left!

First things first. Security and staff are top notch. Amazingly organization as well for entry. If you want the best sound be towards the middle of the booth area. Highly recommend bottle service. Tiesto was amazing as well.

The bar staff makes up prices for drinks. They charged anywhere between $13-$20 for the same beer. I ve witnessed the bouncers get unnecessarily rough with people for no apparent reason. Maybe a misunderstanding but management needs to make sure that doesn t happen at all from its staff. It s a relatively small club considering how many people they let in at a time. No space to breathe. Lil Jon put on a good show but the music before 1am was horrible in my opinion. Ladies should probably avoid heels and nice shoes in general. The floors are dirty and there isn t anywhere to sit if you aren t reserving a VIP lounge for $1200+.
Positive points: Sound quality, renowned DJs
Negative points: A little aggressive staff should not speak to them, do not hesitate to go out without explanations, if you leave the dance floor (go to the bar or toilet for example) you can not go back or you have to do the queue for a VERY long time, prices a little closer to the stars: 12 dollars 1 beer, 18 dollars 1 shooter, the cocktails do not speak about it (all except TIPS).
And it's very armored, suddenly it's very difficult to dance or even impossible, it's a negative point but I do not hold it against the note, the club is a victim of its success on this one.

This is by far the worst nightclub I ve ever been to in the entire world. I ve been to the best night clubs in over 55 countries and probably 10 states. Don t waste your time or money. Over priced, Shit artists, terrible production and the WORST customer serves. Save yourself and go to OMNIA or literally anywhere else but here. Omnia is one of the best night club that I ve ever been to. Top 10 for sure!
good music but staff decided to single me out because I was wearing shorts wanted me to leave put on pants but there plenty of women in shorts. who were not asked to leave a couple of my friends made a big stink about it asked for manager and they let me go back in the party. Very unfriendly and discriminatory! wouldn't RECOMMEND .

Honestly, spend your money on the "less popular" clubs in Vegas. Hakkasan is way too crowded, way too small, way too expensive than it deserves to be. We went out to Haze, Encore, etc and had a better time.
It gets 5 stars for Tiesto but I don't like that once I get on the Dance Floor I can't leave and go to the bathroom and come back to my husband. I don't like that there is no sitting room.

The nightclub is what I expected from the Hakkasan, the music and people being hyped up in Vegas. The only thing I really disliked was the rude staff! They had some obnoxious responses when simply asking a question. Also the prices on the drinks were something else.
Great security! We went through great lengths to get in and get checked. Unfortunately this is not a place for you to go if you are wanting to actually dance. It s gread for fist bumpers lol. If you like hip hop, pop or r&b don t waste your time!!
Decent club on the strip when they have good DJs. Unfortunately, the setup of this club is one of my least favorite since it isn't a large open area. There is an long hallway which connects the different parts of the club, but unlike the other clubs like Omnia/XS, unless you're at a table on the bottom floor surrounding the dance floor, there really isn't much space.
It's an excellent choice when Tiesto plays.
Absolutely amazing and must visit place for club lovers. If you don't want to be in line, purchase your tickets in advance. There is also a way to get free, catch a promoter int he streets, book ypur name is guest list and stay in queue for 30 min at least. Prices are fair, and it's very overcrowded. Must visit place.
It's always lit every time I come here with my cousins & close friends! The music is our type to dance to!
I enjoyed this place due to selection of alcohol, love performance (Calvin Harris), and the resident DJ spinning a great mix of Hip Hop and R&B in the Ling Ling room. The only concern about the club is people who have never been to a club before have a tendency to stand in all the wrong places (e.g. the dancefloor).

I don't usually enjoy going to clubs. My wife and friends drag me to them from time to time and I don't have a good time. This club was different. The layout was awesome and even though it was packed it was easy to get a drink or get to the dance floor. The DJ was a top DJ from Norway and he lived up to his reputation. He was the best DJ I have ever seen. All in all it was a wonderful experience.
By far my favorite place to party in Las Vegas, great atmosphere and music.
