This review is for the restaurant and I thought it was awesome. We sat at the bar and had great food. The restaurant is on the first floor which has a DJ . I thought the decor was outstanding. We came on a Friday at maybe 7pm before walking across the lobby to see Jabbawokeez.
Hey on a guest list they will comp you a drink. Get in early and leave when it's you crowded.
Pretty much what you would think of a nightclub in Vegas, but compared to other Vegas nightclubs it is lackluster.
As a person who has visited this club many times I was extremely disappointed this last time. I visited the club on September 15th and I still have marks on my arms from the ice that was thrown! It s been two weeks and I have scars all over my body. What are you throwing ?!
When comparing clubs, I don't really take into account the headliners because they can always change and rotate around; rather I'm focusing on the venue themselves. Like all the other clubs, drinks here will cost an arm and a leg but how does the layout, availability of space, and cost of tables compare? Frankly speaking, I don't find this venue to have any unique features that couldn't be found at other clubs, so really the draw to this place would be primarily the headliner!
With that being said, I happened to have a table next to Steven Aoki on his birthday which was a pretty sweet coincidence!
Expensive Like 100 dollars expensive. Too packed to walk. The main DJ doesn't get on until 1:30 am. Not worth it.
Had a good time here with awesome drinks and food. Staff is friendly and well organized.
I went with a group of friends. We avoided the cover charge thanks to a friend of mine getting us on a list. I bought a few drinks. Pricey but that's to be expected. Overall, it was a great experience.
We re staying at the MGM hotel and made reservations to this night club, we were a party of 15, people,,my husband was very discriminated by a security women when he showed her his passport that was not from the US,, I will be contacting the MGM Grand upper management to speak to them about the way these people at made us feel ,, all the people I am here with are staying at the MGM because of me to celebrate my bachelorette party,, and we are paying a lot of money for the rooms, I will never stay here again, as there s so many options here in Vegas,, other hotel would kill to get our business,,
Apparently if you are a woman be prepared to send personal photos and instagram information to the promoter/host of Hakkasan if you would like to reserve a table, and dont be suprised by offensive language if you refuse to be a part of such scrutiny.

Sucked actually! Considering we were on the guest list, still had to wait in line for over half an hour! Finally got in to find out that the 3rd floor was closed! We only went there to listen to hip hop so that was a wash!
Booked a table a few weeks in advance for $550, an hour before we where due to arrive recieved an email saying the table was now going to cost $1000.... Before this email was recieved tried to ask one of the guys outside a few questions at the line desk for hakkasan, didn't let me finish a single sentence without interrupting me....
The club line process is ridiculous and they promote a "hip hop" club but really it's a small room with wack music! Don't go to this club!
Paid $94 for 2 shots of well vodka and 2 well vodka redbulls. Maybe this is normal? Have never had to pay this much at any other club in Vegas though.

Amazing atmosphere with Steve Aoki as resident DJ. Of course it's pricey, it's Vegas! Long lines so order a online ticket in advance.
Crazy Fun Times. Got put on the guest list and was in the doors in about ten minutes when we arrived. Pushed our way onto the dance floor and had a good time. The place is packed, so make room for yourself.
There are two lines, so make sure you get the right one if you already have tickets or a reservation; your own fault if you waited.
The elevators going up take some time, so just use the stairs.
There were stairs everywhere in the club, which gets annoying, probably even more so if you're wearing heels.
Awesome music. To get in free speak to a promoter & you'll be put on to a guest list. From there you have till 1am to get in, however, the guest list line is very long. Mixed drinks are$17-20 & small water (bottles only) are $11. Great music, lights & lasers.
Amazing night here with friends, was able to get on a guest list while staying at the MGM grand by the pool. We waited about 30 minutes to get in, which wasn t bad at all. We eventually were able to get right in front for Steve Aoki.
Club gets crowded late so make sure to arrive early. Also it is difficult to get drinks as the night goes on but overall would come back.
Okay layout. Good bar setups. Bartender spilt my beer and refused to replace it. Other than that had a good time.
I thought I would post a bad review regarding service but when I started reading the hundreds of others it's like "what's the point". So instead I'll offer some advice. If you don't get the experience that you paid for, or if you don't get the drink you paid for, or if you don't get the whatever you paid for, make sure you pay with a credit card. After your horrible experience simply call Visa or American Express and dispute the charges. They are on your side not the merchants. Money back, done deal! Never fails.
I always have a great time in this club, people just like to complain about everything. This is a really cool nightclub to have fun in Las Vegas.
If you enjoy being at clubs that are filled beyond capacity then this is your place.
I went here Las night expecting it to be a good time for my favorite dj Porter Robinson. I enjoy going out and dancing. I am a dancer and love killing the dance floor. Long story short I was enjoying myself dancing and a bouncer came up and told me to stop dancing. I can't believe I got told to stop dancing. I danced some more and they still told me to stop dancing and when I tried to go back out on the dance floor they blocked me off from going on the dance floor. I almost got kicked out for dancing. They r very rude especially when you first walk in the club to get in. They were stamping my hand before I walked in and slapped my hand which was not cool because I have PTSD. I will never go back to this club ever again unless they offer me a job as a go go dancer.
Way to expensive. To crowded and to many security gates. I love Tiesto but I didn't enjoy it. 3 drinks were 60 dollars and they were really small. I also asked for a double shot on 3 more drinks and they charged $120! Wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Only thing I can say is, security is tight and it feels safe and not sktechy like other clubs.

Overcrowded and so much security you cant even have fun. Doors opened at 1030 and by 1 still no name djs were playing. Club is whack.
Las Vegas such a wonder full place to bring friends and family for excitement . I would think twice about HAKKASAN diner for 3 people $672.23 not bad price . But lets look at the service................it does not exist very unfriendly to say the least......... we had our server come to the table once never to be seen again......... for the rest of the night. Food quality less then FAIR. SERVICE NONE, QUALITY OF food BLAND think once before going to HAKKASAN....thanks to my server KRISE for nothing but the form fit and function of your service does not exist.
Always have a good time in here with good headliners. The line is usually extremely long, you'll definitely want to consider that when trying to get in. Or, just get a table & bottles and skip the line.
Great sound. But the waits are long, which is justifiable with a world class vlub. The drinks are bery expensive, which is justifiable with a world famous club. The over crowding was horrible. We saw Calvin Harris and it was so crouded the entire venue was just squeezing past eachother. Never have i experianced anything so overcrowded. The club itself was awesome but the over crowding was terrible

Goods there as Tiesto has hung up. Have paid a total of $ 109 for two people.
$ 60 for the man and $ 40 as a wife. Plus tax (taxes) of course.
The club can be reached via a lift to the inlet.
When we were there it was way too crowded. No big dance floor and 80% just VIP lounges for which you can easily spend hundreds to thousands of dollars.
The bar was also very crowded.
30 minutes for two beers, which cost $ 24.
Overall, it is definitely great there, if you want to spend the necessary change.

For "normalos" like us it was a bit too high class.
Worst place I have ever been period! Overpriced drinks even for Vegas! 21 dollars for a 8oz margarita? Not to mention the dance floor for hip hop is so small that everyone pushes and shoves you even the staff! The security people get over board and try to muscle even women. They pushed me to make way for their waitress from behind unbeknownst to me! It was so messy from drinks being spilled I fell into the waitress and then they accused me of pushing her!
They proceeded to throw me out even though there was 5 witnesses that saw the whole thing! They cater to those that can afford upwards of 5 k for bottle service for a table. There is no seating for customers that don't have that kind of money to sit at all. It is literally standing room only.
They took our brand new drinks that were 40 dollars and said we "gave them up." Even though they demanded the drinks be sat down. When I asked for a refund they said I voluntarily gave them up?
Really after security demanded my husband leave them?
This was for my daughters 21st birthday!
I told them all of this and zero compassion was given. I did nothing but fall because someone pushed me and I got thrown out
My husband also had a negative experience while waiting for the drinks some security issue happened and they literally threw him out of the way! He had no idea what happened
So in short if you like overpriced drinks and abuse visit soon!

Super disappointed with my experience here. Christian Morimando, a promoter I worked with, was extremely unprofessional. It was my 21st birthday and we were promised a complimentary table and bottle service but were lied to just to come to the club. This ruined our night as we had plans to be elsewhere but changed our planned because of this promise. 0/5 stars

On guest list @10:30 pm huge line up , get in about 11:30 pm. Place already packed, dance floor forget it totally packed. By 12:00 am can t move..bar service fairly quick considering the amount of people. Expensive $12 beer $19 cocktails...good thing we don t paid to get in!!

Came for Tiesto all the way from Minneapolis. Tiesto killed it as usual, but the staff here incredibly rude and clueless. There are quite a few pathways that are blocked from one side, leading to many situation where you step aside for a moment and are refused access to dancing with your friends. Bartenders were also pretty rude. Was very hyped to come here and was very disappointed. Not sure if it s a Vegas thing but this was honestly the worst club experience I ve yet had.
I guess Hakkasan just banks on all its 21 year old customers being so high on molly they don't need alcohol. There are literally two bartenders for the whole club. Only one of them knows how to be a bartender at a busy club, the other one spends half his time staring blankly at the liquor bottles wondering what to pour. How does this place make money?
Overall it was a great time. We had a promoter get us a table but expect to spend a lot on bottles and mixers. I'd recommend arriving earlier before it gets crazy busy.
This place is a second or third tier night club for the Vegas strip. I would try the Omnia Nightclub if your thinking about getting a table. The venue is decent but over priced and the staff is worse than you would expect.
Good disco. A little expensive: tickets are usually around $ 50 plus management fees (drinks not included); beers at $ 12; cocktails $ 18-20. It is quite spectacular in terms of lighting, sound and other effects.
The dance floor is very small and is usually full. The rest of the room is dedicated to VIP areas, which is what really leaves money for the club.
I find it quite safe since to access you are searched twice.
On the other hand, it is also quite clean, in this sense, the moment a drink is spilled, part of the staff immediately arrives with towels to pick it up and prevent people from slipping.
Good music but really bad architecture inside, not comfortable if you don't reserve a table
Horrible customer service and disorganized. On top of that, my wife lost her phone in there. Someone actually opened my wife's purse while we were on stage and stole her phone. Security couldn't care any less. Very disappointed.

This club always had great performers and a sheek decor but it gets too packed in a not fun way. Although it is supposed to be one of the best clubs in the country it misses the mark by a lot. I only want to break a sweat dancing not because I'm packed like a sardine.

Nice club and was having a great time. Then was physically assaulted by one of the bouncers when i was standing on the dance floor. I was not standing in the way of any of the entrances and nothing physical was happening. Talked to one of the supervisors named Eric a shorter man with a beard about the incident. The staff ruined my night ar the club. Very unprofessional and i would stay away from this club.
What a shame from such a hotel,I understand that u can not go with sport shoes in and that ok but to let u take off your sweater/jacket and leave it for $20 ,what system is that??I have never been to place that do that..ripping people off..will never go again..

Very much an "experience-focused" rather than "music-focused" club where the majority of the crowd might not regularly go to clubs, know the dj, or even the type of music being played but instead are just people looking for a fun night out. For having such a large room, the dancefloor is relatively small when compared with more "music-focused" clubs because this club is designed with vip booths all around the floor taking up space that, in any other club in the world, would have been the main dancefloor. Expect to see lots of groups taking pictures for ig and fb with their bottles and sparklers - expect to see lots of people dressed up like they are going to a prom or a wedding, and expect everyone to get upset when they hear the drink prices. While this club caters to more of an EDM crowd, they do sometimes host house or trap djs but don't expect anything deep or minimal. You can definitely have fun here but if you are an experienced clubber or are just someone who is super into music you should probably go somewhere else.

I was there at 30th Dec that day Tiesto was playing. Awesome music with lot of Paperbombs and fumes . It was fully energized party. Place was crowded may be because of new year. But overall my experience was awesome.

Me and my wife first went to this club kind of by accident because another club was closed. Turned out to be really fun. That was back in October of 2013. Later after I looked into the club more I realized they literally dropped 120 million to make it... It definitely shows. Almost every surface around the dance floor lights up making it a very unique experience everytime you go. Since we moved out here to Vegas we have been to Hakkasan over 10 times (than you Promoter David Reyes!). We have seen Calvin Harris, Tiesto, Michael Woods, and Steve Aoki to name a few. I love this club and I def look at the calendar all the time to see who is djing. As for the bad reviews... First of all any club you go to in Vegas is gonna be packed ESPECIALLY on Friday and Saturday. No way around it. Depending on DJ too it might be even more packed. If you don't like clubs let alone clubs that are packed then don't go lol. I have never gone and not found room to dance. Drink prices... They are a lot yes. Drink before you get in... Ladies of you have a purse throw a small bottle of vodka or whatever in it. Also never had an issue with security, never been hustled ever. In the club don't be a dick to guys or girls and they won't bug you. Also at the door, guys wear slacks, button up shirt, and definitely dress shoes. You want to get in why risk wearing anything but that. Not much more I can say, the club is great I'm very happy we stumbled on it.

Nothing against the bartenders or drinks, but the overly aggressive bouncers pushed us, literally, to these reviews. That place has way too much interest snatching at the 100$ in your pocket to force you to get a measly table of 7ft max to just avoid being bumper to bumper with a stranger. And that s guaranteed. If you dont cough up your cash you already tried to save on the guest list, you re undoubtably going to get cozy shoulder to shoulder with strangers or bouncers trying to herd you back into the fray. That was the tipping point too, bouncers in the past have been courtious with us thus far, but Hakkasan s got the worst. Wouldn t visit again if they paid me. Ladies beware.
