Great club, multi level for different type of music, they even have a restaurant.
Great club, multi level for different type of music, they even have a restaurant.
Drinks were good. Music was at a good volume and then they went and turned it up 3 notches which was annoying.
Bar tender were rude and disrespectful. Overpriced drinks. Will never be back again
If you like this genre of places then I guess it's OK.
The dress code only applies to some and not others. Watched in disbelief as some people were not allowed in the club due to dress code, while others in similar attire were let it. It leaves a lot to be desired.... be ware do not go near this club. Its being run and managed by ignorant prejudice fools. what a pity!
You are denied entry for no reason. Club opens at 10 p.m. but at 10:45 p.m. one was opened with pre-sale tickets. Simply not recommended, the manager should take a look at his club and tidy up his employees. A very clear thumb down for this place.
During my last visit in the month of june, we had gone to witness tiesto and it was nothing less than magical, the club has some of the best sound system in the world! Their gate policy is superb. We had taken a bottle over there and its was worth it. the table service was upto the mark. comes in the top 5 clubs in the world.
Worst nightclub I have ever been to. I'm not normally one to leave reviews but I hated it so much I really felt the need to!
Pre booked tickets to see Steve Aoki. Yet still had to queue for an hour to gain entry. You are made to feel like a second class citizen. Unless you are willing to spend big bucks! The dance floor is tiny and is closed once it meets "Capacity". The dance floor is then surrounded by booths which VIP's rent out. Everyone else is pushed back to the edges of the club, with low ceilings and pillars, so you have absolutely no chance of seeing the DJ or even dancing for that matter!
Upstairs is an even worse setup with nothing but VIP booths. The bouncers / security are down right rude and arrogant as well. There was an empty table which over looked the dance floor, I asked to run in and take one photo, with the promise of coming out straight away. He refused, fair enough... only for 5 minutes later a hot girl strolls in, right past security and takes a few snaps, sits down etc. He does not batter an eye lid. Really grinds my gears.
Drinks are excessively expensive as well... $26 for a vodka & coke..... Really?!? You can buy a bottle for less...
In my experience, avoid at all costs. Unless you're going to hire a booth
Club is very congested on calvin Harris concert. Was not even able to see or enjoy it. No space to dance or move on busy weekend.
She's got the club. I'm writing to them new. Dough fried
NICK MEA and SERGIO, this ones for you!
On Friday night (May31st) I had been approached by a promoter who offered my friends and I free admission and free drinks to celebrate the last night of my Bachelorette. I had been approached all day by promoters from different clubs offering the very same thing but decided to go here because we were staying in the MGM hotel and it was close. Going to this club was the only bad decision i made the whole trip. My girlfriends and I were treated horribly by two clearly very young, immature, rude and douchy little "promoters" NICK and SERGIO. We texted them upon arrival and then after waiting in the line up for a very long time as we were about to go in they told us had "ran out of drink tickets, I dont get a lot of them sorry the free cover wasnt enough for u, your welcome to pay next time you come".. Like we would ever come back to this club after being talked to that way. I didnt let it ruin my night but it wasted our time on our last night in Vegas and that was extremely upsetting. We didnt waste any more time by going into Hakkasan and went somewhere else where we definitely had more fun than we would have had at this club based on all the reviews i have just read.
*If you are going to be celebrating your Bachelorette or any other special occasion i highly recommended any other club as we were treated as we deserved!*
I am posting the convo's we had with these two little jerks (NICK AND SERGIO) in hopes that management will tell them the right way to talk to guests as they clearly havent figured that out yet.
One of Las Vegas' premium night clubs. We heard a lot about extremley expensive tickets beforehand but take a walk down the strip in the day and you tend to get loads of people putting you on a free guest list. Once you're in the drinks are obviously pricey but you are in Vegas!
The single worst club I have ever been to. From the staff, to the layout of it, to the insane amount of people they packed into it. The absolute worst. Staff and bouncers were literally no help and/or EXTREMELY rude. The bouncer when entering the club literally grabbed my wrist and pulled me into the club with force. Caught me way off guard. I gave him my wrist to stamp as he had done everyone ahead of me, and instead of just stamping it and allowing me to enter at my own will, he felt the need to pull me like a mother pulls a fit-throwing child out of a grocery store. I so badly wanted to say something to him, but we were there for a bachelorette party so I held my tongue. On top of that, Kaskade was the headliner that night. My friends and I searched high and low for his set time so we would know how long to expect to be out. We could not find it. The club notifies you to be there by 10-10:30 pm to ensure admittance. We arrived shortly after 10. It wasn t until we had been there almost 2 and a half hours that we found out Kaskade wouldn t go on until 1:30 am. Which meant we d have to stand on the dance floor or on the sidelines packed like a can of sardines for another hour. We could NOT do it anymore. The club had to have been way over capacity. You literally couldn t move, unless you were being pushed around by that annoying person still attempting to dance or being shoved by someone plowing through trying to get by. Not sure how it wasn t a fire hazard. All in all, this place was HORRIBLE. Never been to a club that was more packed or less enjoyable than this one.
Came in on a Thursday night for DJ Dash. We got in for free under a promoter's list. DJ Dash was pretty mediocre. The transitions were all over the place, and the music was mostly hiphop. The crowd was very pushy towards the center, and the entire club was packed. There's usually a second floor, but they wouldn't open it because the bouncer said it wasn't crowded enough yet.
The dance club is ok. It's another place to spend money in Vegas.
Poor choice of music, no place to seat unless you want to have a VIP table. All in all,
one of worst night clubs I have seen. Save your money and time and choose a club with a higher rating.
There is reason why you won't find Matoma in Djmag 100... Sorry - no hands up
Back to 2 stars... He is getting better...
And back to...
Up to 3 stars.... Working on it - stay with electronic music. Did a good job there
Nice place but VERY over priced. Rude workers. Not again
Ive been here multiple times and have always had a great time!
Dooooooope!!! Tiesto! Calvin Harris! Need I say more?
Lame place, 2, $100 tickets no place to sit. Too crowded, no smoke section I don't even smoke but dig a quiet place to talk.
The music is exceptional but gets very crowded and hot, it hinders the experience of visitors for the first time.
The bouncer at Hakkasan Nightclub was so ignorant to our group before we went in, we left and will never return.
Got with a promoter and got in last minute. People who worked the line were polite yet firm. Be careful, drinks at the bar will cost you way more than before you get in. My advice if you want to drink do it before you go and then just have fun. Packed dance floor and great music.
Besthopeboardman
Club ok
Nightly
In Las Vegas, Friday
Great environment!!! 100% party place and DJ was throwing money on the dance floor!!!!
Dress to impress apparently allows people in with sneakers and T-shirt s. Overpriced watered down drinks and you can barely see who is performing. Won t be back.
Most racist club ever honestly. Did not like it at all! Never again honestly lol
My girlfriend and I visited the club this past Thursday night. After reading a number of scathing reviews I was hesitant. The club however turned out to be awesome! The club had a number of different levels and also a club within a club (Ling Ling - a more intimate R&B vibe). The main club played EDM and the talent behind the DJ booth is immense. Oliver Heldens, an up and coming star, rocked the house with ease. The crowd was dense however there wasn't an issue finding a place to dance at either club. As mentioned in a number of posts, the drinks are expensive so I too would recommend drinking elsewhere or planning on spending a few dollars. As for security, there were a substantial number of guys however they were respectful and professional throughout the night. The crowd at the club was also a blast. Everyone seemed to be respectful and fun!! It was a great night with great people. Truly a unique and awesome experience for us! Enjoy!
It was a very nice club the hip hop side was a lol on the small side but the other side where they play techno music was huge and live.
My expectations were not met. Atmosphere was from 90's. This is just another overcrowded club. Not enough space to dance. It is also super expensive. $11 for bottled water! People in third world countries work 10 hours for $11. They get 3 stars because of tiesto. Otherwise, this is two star night club.
Over-crowded...music was techno....drinks are over $20 each...
Not worth it at all. Would not recommend at all.
This place sucks
It has bad service and thw bouncers arw way to rude
This place is a complete DISASTER! Created with one thing in mind - greed to make as much as they possibly can at the expense of you! The only way to even begin to consider going here Is by buying a booth and I don't even want to think what you'd have to spend with my tiny well drink costing $18 friggen dollars. The max cap said 1,500 people....they must have crammed 3,000 in. Poor layout can't stop to watch in any area except on floor (staff will point their annoying flashlight at you to keep moving) on floor you will be a sardine with zero dance ability and someone's greasy hair up your nose. I don't care who the DJ is....you Won't be able to enjoy them. I never write reviews but hope I can help someone else have a good night in Vegas and not waste it here....wow I would never believe it if I didn't sadly experience it.
Always great fun to get back to this place as well as the one in Beverly Hills! Love Love Love it!
Tiesto on Sat is great but way too crowded because everyone gets free cover.
Awesome venue!! If you like the dj playing it's going to be a good night. Really cool club, great show. I'd recommend upstairs, the tables looking over the dj booth are great if you're just going to the bar it's less hectic
I visited to see the Chainsmokers on 10/18 and was robbed. My phone was stolen out of my purse on the jam-packed dancefloor. Seriously. They pack people into this place like sardines, and the dancefloor is full of bros who grope and push women around.
And security? Yeah, don't expect them to help out if anything happens. When I realized my phone was stolen, I approached one on the side of the dance floor who proceeded to yell at me for intruding into the VIP area. I finally located someone who wanted to help me out (I couldn't hear his name. He was actually sweeping the floor. He had dark hair and glasses. He was the only helpful person in the place.) He directed me into a quiet staff only room where I thought I would fill out some paperwork about what's missing. The employee who watches security cameras in that room flipped out and told us we weren't allowed in there, so I had to yell out a description of what went missing over the blaring music in the club.
I found out later in the night that security found my phone case (no phone) on the dance floor, but I wasn't told where, or if they would be checking cameras to find out any information, or if they would be doing anything else for me. It was basically not their problem any more, so they didn't help or show any compassion. I personally feel like when someone gets robbed at your establishment, a little empathy and assistance is the right response. Needless to say, I wouldn't recommend anyone visit Hakkasan.
My situation aside, there's 5 floors of dark stairs that patrons have to climb to get anywhere in the club (not fun after a few drinks in heels. Poor planning.) If you don't buy a VIP table, it's hard to get around and have any space to dance and have a good time. With so many fun options on the Strip, I'd stay away from Hakkasan and choose somewhere else.
Ok. If you want to dance, no chance. Hard to move around. Better options available
Had a great night. To see Tiesto upfront and Center
Externally bad management and the staff was very rude. After standing in line for approx 2hours, we get to know that we have to pay 200 dollars which they earlier told us that we were on guest list with no charges. The security check was very deliberately mis-communicating the entry fees. Even a group standing in front of us was told that they cannot enter because of dress code, after standing for 2 hours in the line.
This place was very Las Vegas club scene! Women with very little clothes on and men on the hunt. If you are early 20 something this place is a lot of fun, if you are early 30 something this place can be enjoyable but might be too much, if you are 40 something this might not be the place for you.
Been to better clubs but its different levels to the club
If you are judging this place as a tourist it is a pretty impressive venue. Some complaints about it getting too packed I consider a champagne problem (ba dum dum). This would be considered a super club by any standard, although it is not as big as Omnia it is still pretty big. Usually have a decent line up of DJ's, I highly recommend buying tickets in advance as it pretty much gives you VIP admittance so that hassle of waiting in line won't apply to you. Definitely worth checking out.
This place is a waste of time and should be shut down. After being told we are on a free guest list we stayed in a queue for over an hour then as soon as we thought we were Inside we were pushed to another queue which had another hour expected wait. What was worse was we were told by a very rude security guard if we wanted to get into this next line we had to check our coats in first at $10 each. It is winter in Vegas and currently 42degrees Fahrenheit. Who does that? It s ice cold! If there is a wait of 2-3hours who has the time to do that and for what some rubbish music! Do not waste your time. We left as soon as we were told check your coat in or beat it . If this is how they treat potential customers. No wonder they have such a bad rating and need to give away free passes to create hype .
All I can really say is WOW, I usually don't write reviews, good or bad, but really? I waited in line for 30 minutes just to be denied entry because of my shoes.. The best part is that they couldnt even tell the brand by looking at them, they had to ask me what brand my shoes were, if you can't tell what brand they are, why does it even matter? I could understand style, but denying someone entry for their brand of shoe? Insane. So yeah, just a heads up to everyone, if you wear Nike, Adidas, or Under Armor don't even bother here.
In the past, having dinner at the restaurant (one of my favorites in the world) would grant you access to the club through a backdoor with no cover. I called and placed reservations, confirmed this was still their practice and they confirmed the $50 per person minimum spend. After finishing dinner the restaurant maintained the same policy until we came to the cashier girl for the club who said they would not honor it because it was the 'anniversary weekend'. No other options were given except paying full price even though we spend $$$ at the restaurant. Super rude and no budge or customer service at all. The service of this place has fallen heavily as well --the disrespectful and ultra unhelpful bouncers and front people almost make you wonder why you are paying money to go in and be treated like cattle. Oh and there is no water anywhere inside apart from the mini Fuji that's $10 a bottle.
One of the worst Vegas clubbing experience ever here at Hakkasan on a Sunday on NYE weekend. Wish I could give negative feedback:
1) got a promoter to get on a 'guest list' hoping to avoid lines. Waited 1h 15min.
2) coat check another 20 min.
3) around midnight, tiny dance floor was about to pop like a zit, and it's impossible to move around except along walls (likely fire hazard?).
4) Waited, was stepped on & elbowed, until 1:30am but dj tiesto didnt show up.
Complete waste of a night & time.
I got a table at the club earlier this month and had an awful experience. The server was rude and when I tried to tip her 30%, she handed the bill back and asked for more money which was inappropriate considering the poor service. Then the next day I saw that my card was charged double the amount of charges that were actually incurred. I ve tried contacting the nightclub multiple times to resolve this issue but they have not responded or addressed the error that they made. This club is taking advantage of patrons - beware!
Nice place...The time I went they had a EDM event but the overall layout of the place was spacious and modern looking
Had the best time sound and lighting is incredible. Mike Glenn is the absolute best VIP Host everyone should use him when in Las Vegas helps with all your needs and gets you into whatever you want to do and has the best suggestions on what to do!
Have been to this place in other cities so going here was a huge disappointment. The food was terrible, not even casual restaurant quality. Music was not good either as the DJ kept completely changing the songs and mixing too much. Bar service was quick though even if the place was packed.
This club has to many private/VIP booths. The security acts as if they are guarding the Pope when they are only guarding empty seats until a group of 12 dudes show up! Which was the norm in about 80% of of the booths. To make matters worst the drinks are extremely over priced!!! I purchased 4 drinks for $80. An 8oz bottle of water was $10. The guys who work the elavator swear they are moving around movie stars. Don't go to this waste of time!!
of the best clubs that could go really spectacular all
Tiesto!
Awesome night
So here is a review for anyone who hasn't been to Hakkasan yet:
If you are going to see a DJ, or popular performer...buckle up...buying tickets at the door or on the same night is huge mistake...Make sure you buy your ticket way in advance and online.
Buying tickets online has a ridiculous service charge of 10 to 15 bucks but buying tickets at the door is way way more expensive. Plus you have to wait in line for hours fighting people who are going to pay stupid prices for bottles.
Drinks are expensive as hell. even a mini bottle of water is $12.
Tables cost 1 or two bottles and bottles i think start from 1K so go figure.
People smoke inside so there is that.
you don't have a good view of the DJ or performer unless you are on the dance floor...so get ready to get pushed and stepped on. Upstaris has no view unless you have a table.
If you go to clubs a lot, you'll hate Hakkasan. But if you are willing to pay a lot of money to impress your partner or crew, then do it.
Really wish there was a zero star rating. Over priced and rude staff.
this place is awful, super crowded, forget about getting any drinks, and if anybody smokes near you, you'll get kicked out, terrible club
A pain to get to if you are on the Caesar's palace side. Bigger side of most clubs, good style.
Had my Bachelor Party here. Steve Aoki it was. Had a great great time.
Just doesn't do it for me. Hard to have a really good time unless you are spending thousands of dollars. I've been to a number of other clubs in Vegas that are way better experiences.
I came to this club on my 23rd birthday (please acknowledge I said 23rd). I was waiting on my official ID which hadn't arrived prior to me going to Vegas, but I had my birth certificate, my social security card, credit cards in my name, and a copy of my ID. Now, to be honest I didn't care about not getting in. There a tons of other highly rated places in Vegas that I experiences why there but the treatment from one of the bouncer is what has me writing this review. I asked him if I could step to the side and he looked and me in snarky way and told me his line wasn't long and I could stand their all night. There was no need for his rudeness and considering the rating of this club, his rudeness was not warranted.
Hakkasan is a large multi floor club and is good overall. However, it's almost always packed and very little room to make it to the dance floor. The drink prices are ridiculously exorbitant which is expected in these type of clubs, however, Hakkasan goings a step further with their prices. I come here almost every year and over the years I've progressively lost interest for this club. I actually prefer Marquee at Cosmopolitan much better.
It's an okay nightclub, sound system sucks, crowded, and small dance floors
Unamerican establishment. I was pulled out line and had a picture taken of my ID because I was apart of the "police officers bar crawl" and was intimidating to the head of security. I'm not a police officer.
Not worth a moment of your time.
Very sad experience - not letting my girlfriend getting into the nightclub cause staff is to dumb realizing that a German driver s license has got no expiry date (randomly assuming that date if issue is date if expiry even though showing translation to narrow minded staff which sadly enough is only fluent in English..) next step is throwing me randomly out of this pretentious nightclub trying to explain the situation to dumb bouncers.. without any explanation whatsoever - just saying that they don t want me on the premises any longer (why?! Cause I am trying to figure out a way to explain very basic stuff to your low IQ staff?!) all that happening on New Year s Eve at 23:30 - paying a total of ca 150 USD for the two of us - W O R S T club experience in my life and I have been to tons of nightclubs on all continents. Stay pretentious and please go to H E . .
Rude arrogant staff never seen so much rudeness. The safety for nothing competent the $ 15 drinks add water and ice. Absolutely to avoid.
The guest list line is terrible. Totally not worth it. We waited in line for 1.5 hours to get in. It s more worth it just to pay to get in.
Worst experience ever. Overcrowded, expensive drinks, rude people. Got there early only to be pushed out with the amount of people they let in.
Terrible experience. Got tickets from a promoter (for a free cover), showed up to the line at 10:30PM, got in at 12:30, had to pay $120 for cover, got sent to the second levekC and drinks were $20+. Do not recommend.
TERRIBLE. I had a line and at the end I have to have it again.
The person at check-in WAS TERRIBLE, NOT UNDERSTAND WITH A TURISTE. T E R R I B L E!
Please put away this person.
Love the restaurant, such tasty food and great surroundings.
Attend party 2 nights in a row & both nights were like different clubs! The DJ definitely makes the difference. It was rocking!
