Drinks are pricey but expected with a high end night club as Hakkasan is, considered one of the best in the world so you get what you are paying for. However, very very overcrowded, almost impossible to walk, best scenario is to get a table and stay at the table.

Really bad night club. Don t waste your time and really bad and rude security I think he was a manager. I will never go to this night club again in my life. If their is 0 star I will put it.
Went to see chainsmokers tonight here. We called before asking if I, a masculine woman could wear shorts for the dress code and was told I could as long as they were not denim. When we got to the club I was told I wasn't allowed inside because I was wearing these shorts. The bouncer told me because it's a masculine style that I was not allowed to wear shorts, mind you right behind me were at least 10 girls wearing denim shorts. When I told him that it wasn't fair because he was letting feminine women in with denim shorts on he pushed me aside and told me to speak to a manager. The manager then tried to say I wouldn't be allowed in also, so me and my girlfriend told them that it was complete BS seeing as there were God knows how many other girls wearing shorts and just because I'm not feminine doesn't mean I shouldn't be able to wear shorts also. I am female, as plain as that. He finally let us in after arguing. I would never go to this club again or recommend to anyone. They discriminate, obviously against masculine women let alone who knows what else.
Way too crowded, feel like you are Inconveniencing the people who can afford the overpriced VIP booths. No room to dance or move and way to expensive drinks.
Terrible. They kicked one of our group members out, we were supposed to be escorted after dinner directly to the club, well it took at least 30 minutes until we were in. The security was more serious than getting through TSA. The drinks are $20, even if it's a shot of vodka. Be prepared to walk up 10 flights of stairs (not fun in heels). Also, I don't know who had the idea to put stairs in rooms with no lights...with people that have been drinking...seems like they're asking for people to fall. If you like pompous people, high priced drinks, and waiting in lines forever, this is the place for you.
Staff was friendly, which is a plus when entering as general admission. Make sure to check your hooded garments and larger bags at the bell desk in theGM main lobby before attempting to enter.
I would never come here again worst experience I ve ever had at club. I ve never met staff so rude and blocked the view of many people. And many were seen grabbing sober people for no reason.
DO NOT WASTE UR MONEY....dangerously overcrowded...10 to 15 people deep to order a drink and it was so busy they had security preventing people going on to the dance floor...we wasted $60 usd a couple to get in (3 couples)
The absolute worst club experience of my life drinks were expensive Bouncers were nasty people especially one who disrespected my wife He was a tall black guy who should be fired. We saw Tiesto my wife and I were big fans of his music it really angers me that he would play in a small venue like that when he draws extremely large crowds. We actually went to the upstairs part of the club because it was less crowded but you couldn't see the stage where he was performing it was all bottle service. Another point on the bouncers is that they weren't attentative on what was going on in the club it was over capacity which was a big fire hazard. Also they were waving the Chinese flag in the club I've never been so offended in my life that they would let that happen and it offends me as a patriotic American. I hope this club goes out of business. *MY ADVICE* Tiesto needs to find another place or he's going to lose a lot of fans and *STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM HAKKASAN NIGHTCLUB*.
MGM know how to make a party rock.. Lighting, special effects, DJ, guests all checkmarks ticked if you are attending a party at Hakkasan @ MGM . Also you have three levels , out of which one is a lounge and plays a totally different kind of music from the upper two levels, so it keeps the guest high all the time!!! This saturday it was @seb Ingrosso playing and he knew , how to rock a party!! You can't leave vegas without attending a party @hakkasan_MGM
Cantonese cuisine got senior in Vegas MGM. environment of grace. The main theme is dark blue. The recipe has Chinese characters. The recipe is completely Cantonese. From the beginning to the end is Cantonese cuisine. it is good. The waiters are kind. Professional, well, will come again. Hakasan, the name is a bit Japanese. Changing to a Chinese name is better. Such as Xia Jinsha. Haha.
Hakkasan Nightclub. I was in Vegas last week for the FIRST TIME to celebrate my 21st birthday. We heard about the Lil Jon show at MGM while walking the strip so decided to buy tickets and go. I love Lil Jon and was so excited. Upon arriving to the club at 10:30pm we were moved around to three different lines as the set up was extremely confusing. Once in the correct line, the man proceeded to be extremely rude questioning our tickets. (This was the 3rd time we had been checked for them) He then looks down at my boyfriend s shoes and says he ll have to change and come back. They were 100% clean and what makes it worse is I personally witnessed others go in with less desirable shoes or other questionable outfits. Denying us entry to the show after we purchased your tickets, made the entire trip down to MGM from our hotel (not a short trip), no shops open at the time to purchase other shoes and this being one of my FIRST few experiences in Vegas, is pretty disappointing and upsetting. It ruined my night! No Customer Service or leniency offered for someone on their biggest birthday who PAID for tickets. I do not feel anyone should recieve this kind of service or feel talked down to and humiliated especially by a staff member at a night club. How ridiculous. I will definitely be making others aware of my unfortunate experience at Hakkasan and will never return here.
Worst experience ever and they didn t even care that it was my 21st birthday. I ll never come here again. EVER. The bartender was rude as ever. They falsely accused one of my friends of credit card fraud and refused to let him back in after only 5 minutes of us being there, just because one of our friends sent him to the bar with their card to buy me a drink even after we proved it they didn t let him back in after we ve spent hella money to stay in the mgm and even be in Vegas in general. Oh and yeah, we didn t get a refund. Btw 2 drinks were $50 and 2 shots were $42. You can buy a whole bottle with that.
One of the best records in the world. They play among the best DJs, resident ... players. Admission prices too honest ... The rest is expensive. To go super releganti
Good experience, the place is big but not enough since it is always packed! It's very hard to find enough room to dance! Do NOT sign up on the guest list (on weekend nights), you will have to show up before 10PM, and still have to wait an hour or more without knowing how much it will cost you until you reach the cashier. The best tip I could give is to buy a pre sale ticket (30$ for guys, 20$ for girls). We arrived 10 minutes before midnight and were inside 1 minute later!
This place is extremely overcrowded. Keep in mind this is during a weekday when no one special is there. I couldn't imagine going to this place when a big name shows up. No seating for anyone who isn't a VIP. Drink prices are a little too pricey compared to other places. Anyone who works there really think they are better than everyone else and even talk about people right after they let them through the line to the other employees. Very unprofessional. It seems the business is open only for the money and don't care about comfort for people paying to get in. One mistake I will not make again is coming back to this P.O.S.
If your over 30 don't even waste your money !!! The place is like a sardine can and you're paying g 37$ just to get in and you'll leave within 15 minutes because you can't move around ! So... yea ... good music but waste of money and time
I thoroughly enjoy this club. Same thing im upset about with omnia tho.. I dont drink and there no water fountains or stations and their tiny waters they sell are $10 each... Other than that, great place to go and wiggle to your fav dj
There is nothing particularly interesting at this club. The inside of the club is nothing to look at. I got in quickly because of a promoter, but it was overcrowded, overpriced, and the bouncers were rude. Unfortunately as long as it is always attached to MGM Grand, they will be making money. You have other options in Las Vegas, try Omnia.
I normally don't write negative reviews, but when I do, it's to raise awareness for customers to understand the financial risk they'll put themselves into, especially if you have plans to book a table service. My friends and I booked a table service for a min. of $1K. The location of the the table was least than favorable, most would agree. We couldn't see the DJ, it was sort of just in a dark room. My girlfriend asked the manager if we could move our services, upstairs. They told her it would cost an additional $500. We agreed. So I closed out on the first table (cost almost $1400), and they moved out drinks upstairs to the table on Level 2. We had an abundant of drinks between my girlfriend and my best friend so we never ordered anymore drinks. Of course, as the night progressed, I was a little tipsy. A waitress comes by and asks to close the table. I was under the impression that I was signing the tab to close out the table as an additional $500, and that the $1400 tab would replace it. Upon checking my credit cards the next morning, they charged me for a 2nd table. Therefore I had a charge of $1400 and $2100. That's 2 tables! Again, we didn't order ANY DRINKS on the 2nd table, as we had more than enough from the first order. I e-mailed management with no resolve. They claimed I ordered more drinks at the 2nd table, which was completely false, tallying up the $2100 charge. Just be cautious if you decide to book a table service.
Only worth going if you have a table, because the dance floor is tiny in favor of a million reserved tables. There is an incense sent that burn throughout the club smells like a hippie yoga studio and makes the place foggy. The staff is nice, but that isn't why I came. I been to Vegas a few times and I'm used to the crowded dance floor but I got here SUPER early and was able to see the actual size and I'm pretty sure my hotel room at MGM park was bigger or maybe they were the same size. Regardless, too small for as many people as they let in. P.s. I feel like I need to mention I had a table just in case anyone thinks I'm salty
the line here is massive, always... they have a great line up of resident DJ's and they know it. It is a vegas nightclub on steroids. Its massive and crowded and chaotic. I went on a night that Aoki was on stage and the group I was with reserved a dance floor table. Once we got to the table, it was great. the walk to the table was an absolute nightmare. Our group kept getting swallowed up by the masses. One thing is that I told my group to be there by 11, and they strolled in at 12:15... Our host, Rich was kind enough to hold our table and even stood outside the club and entertained a few of us, even tho I knew he would rather have been doing something else.
once at our table, typical vegas top level service. Cocktail waitresses pouring drinks and security guards keeping it safe and secure. I would definitely go back, and would definitely get a table. I could not imagine coming to this place without getting a table. it would be so chaotic. But it's definitely up there with the best in the city.
We took 10 friends to see DJ Tiesto on 6-20-2015 and we were trying to celebrate ... so we went with bottle service and VIP table. DJ Tiesto played a solid house set, with guest appearance by Hardwell. Great sets, Tiesto playing solidly from about 1am to 3:15am and then on and off until about 4:00am
Our VIP table actually had a great view from the upper level and we could see the DJs doing their stuff. Bottles of vodka (Kettle One, etc) ran between $575 and $775 and they had a good selection. Those prices are without tip or tax.
The service was insanely bad. I mean, unbelievably over the top, comical, is-this-a-prank BAD. Security was rude, especially to the ladies in our party. Drink service was abysmal. Things were spilled, by staff, onto our guests. On the upper level, staff did very little to control the crowd.
We were not the only ones who were not happy either -- the table next to us voiced similar complaints. They were very British, very drunk, and very unhappy about the drink service.
Next time I think we will just stick with XS or go elsewhere in the MGM club scene.
Went to see kaskade for summer splash. When I finally got to the front of the line I was escorted around security and asked to leave. I was told I was "too intoxicated" and to call it a night. I had had 1 drink about 45 minutes prior. I was told I was leaning too much? I was in 6 inch heels standing in line for over 20 minutes...guess my bad for my feet hurting. I gave it a few minutes and tried to go in again as I was not intoxicated at all. Same lady pulled me out if the line and I was taken to a security officer and escorted out. The security officer basically told me it doesnt matter if I am Intoxicted or not....if they don't want to let someone in, they won't and it wont matter what I say.
Have to wait a lot, When i say a lot i mean it guyz. I m giving 2 stars just coz of David Guetta else this place doesn't even deserve that. Bad service!
Never seen so many unnecessary security guard even in a much bigger and better clubs. All security guard are very rude don t stay here , don t look there , don t lean here . Drinks are overpriced without being special at all 23$ usd vodka cranberry with 2 drops of vodka in it. Definitely a club to avoid
If you don t plan on getting a table don t go here. They make you pay to get on the dance floor, drinks are overpriced. Door staff guide you down the wrong queue. Tiesto seemed to dance around and let his mate do most of they work. Rubbish.
Way too crowded...never could get to the dance floor! I suggest a major remodel or new location. Tiesto is so awesome. We would see him over and over because we love to dance! But we won't go back to this nightclub.
Most profitable nightclub in the world. they earn it. Saw Tiesto and Kaskade here. next is Steve Aoki hopefully. Expensive drinks but have always been taken care of here. Bottle service is high, but what in Vegas isn't?
Very unpleasant experience. It was way too pricy. It was definitely not worth the $30 cover ($45 for my boyfriend). The drinks were also $20 and were only about two gulps. All the workers are snooty. If you're not rich and flaunting it and buying the $3000 VIP tables then they make it known that you aren't worthy of their respect or time.
