We always take our vehicle to get serviced at a Haggerty dealer. Received yet another great service experience, the boys at the Villa Park Haggerty service department were awesome this morning! Very thankful for the reminder call yesterday as well! The Haggerty family of cars does not fail to impress!

This is my 4th time here at service in the last month.
My car hasn't lasted a week without a problem with it..
Now they are telling me, my car has the wrong size tire on it, you've seen my car 4 times?? Why are you telling me now.. and it doesn't match the other three tires. 100% I don't believe that's my tire. The mystery tire had brand new tread and my other three are completely old.. 100% corruption

Worst dealership ever! Don t buy a vehicle from here. My 18 yr old son purchased a used vehicle 5 mths ago and the engine blew. Come to find out after the fact the car had a junk yard engine. We were not informed of this at time of purchase. And were also questioning how they can quote mileage if the original engine was not in there. When calling the dealership to discuss with, used mgr Brian Donchez we were told to get a lawyer and rudely hung up on Shame on them. They had to know the car was a defect. They didn t even take the time to discuss. And now my son is making payments on a unusable car!!! Great service. I hope you sleep good at night

Very disappointing to witness the way my father was treated. First off I would like to state this review has no reflection on Steve the service manager and his advisors who were all very pleasant. However my father and myself unfortunately did not receive the same customer service picking up his car from service. While checking in at the reception station to pick up the car the receptionist was cold and unwelcoming she had difficulty finding my fathers paper work and told him Go talk to someone in service I can t help . I should mention my father is older and has walker. I politely asked the receptionist if she could call someone in service she didn t take kindly to my request rolled her eyes and repeated herself Go talk to someone in service I can t help . Thankfully I was there so my father didn t have to go back and forth. Unfortunately I don t remember the young mans name in the service department who helped me but he was very patient and kind. Turns out the paperwork for my fathers car was at the reception station the whole time. No apology from the receptionist it was as if we were interrupting her phone time. While running my fathers credit card the receptionist told him it was declined he asked her to run the card once more and she made the statement If it s declined it declined that not me it s the machine . I should also mention she was raising her voice. The second time his card was accepted and no apology from the receptionist. I asked the receptionist for her name and she reluctantly told me Mary. However I later called the store to ask for a supervisor and the lady who answered the phone her name was Rosemary same voice. Apparently there s not a administrative supervisor or that s what I was told. I hope this review reaches the correct supervisor to better train your administrative staff.

Had body work done after an accident, and i cant say enough great thing's about this place and Joe!!! My car looks amazing and they treated me wonderfully. Great customer service and great work. Will recommend to anyone who needs work done. Thanks for everything!!

Don't ever buy a used car from this dealership. They have no problem selling someone a faulty used car with a junkyard motor for a quick buck. As an auto technician myself who fixes vehicles for a living, this is the kind of buisness that makes us hard working men/women in the automotive field look like dishonorable people as a whole.. Buy your used car somewhere else.

I have been using Haggerty Buick for 20 years, due to you have great people in the service dept. and body shop. I never have a problem with work that is done. I have been to other dealer for other brand of cars, and have never been respected as well as at Haggerty Buick or Haggerty Chevrolet. I have been treated rudely by some other dealers right form the start working with them, that has never happened at the Haggerty Dealerships. I will keep have service done by these great individuals at Haggerty.

I also have any brand of car fixed or painted with the body shop here, nowhere else has ever done as quality work as Joe and his team.

The Sales manager at this dealership was really nice and understanding. I went to this location to pick up some auto show tickets. The sales manager there gave me as many as I had asked for. Usually when i go to the castle chevy dealership they do not give more than 2 auto show tickets. And when we ask for more they refuse to give anymore.
However at Haggerty Buick, they were understanding and gave me enough tickets for my whole family.
I really appreciate it. Thank you for being so understanding.

The Service department is top notch, if not the BE...

The Service department is top notch, if not the BEST in the area: whether it's the customer experience via the treatment by the Steve and his service staff or the quality of work performed by the technicians. I have recommended several people to Haggerty for both purchasing of new vehicle and/or vehicle service. Great Family owned & operated dealership that also makes the customers feel like they are part of the Family!!!

GM really needs to share what Haggerty and their service department are doing right with other dealerships!

1 hour for an Oil Change!!!! Thats is rediculus!!! I was there 7am saturday, first one to come in. I saw people walking and no one working on the oil change. I spoke to the service manager and he mentions that the oild change takes them about 55min to get done. Well this is the last time they will see me. Whats the point of making an appointment and have you wait that long. Also makes me wonder how long does it takes them for breaks, 4 Hours??

I'm now looking for a new car and I've always bought foreign cars so I decided to now try an American car. I didn't find what I was looking for but the sales representative which was a much older tall slim gray haired white guy was so informative and friendly that I almost bought the car on the spot. I'm always appreciative when the sales person is personal with you. 40$ is no small change for me to just give up to some insensitive person. He even offered to mail out all the brochures I would need to make a informative decision. Thank you Haggerty Buick

I turned my car into them for service on the HVAC system in March of last year and it has been in 5 times for the same system. Including one that they had my car for over a week because they were plugging the part in backwards and blew through 4 of them, but couldn't figure out why on a 12 year old model. Also, 3 times in two months for the same problem that they couldn't figure out and had me do an unnecessary repair that cost me $500 and had the nerve to ask for $700 more. I told them what it was the first time, but they wouldn't listen. It got so bad and expensive that I ended up trading in a working car at a better dealership. I sent the service manager an extensive email that is not within Google character limits that described my whole experience. That was two weeks ago and I never received any sort of response. My impression is that they don't care about your car or you only your money. Never again...

Full disclosure - I'm young, living on my own for the first time, so money's a bit tight. Needing some warranty work, I dropped it off, not thinking I'd be spending much (if any) money. An hour or so after I drop it off, Bill calls me - there's a few other issues they've caught that would be more cost effective to fix now due to labor needed than to leave. Bill told me it could be ready the following day, but unfortunately there emergency funds were going to take a few days to clear, so I wouldn't be ready to handle the bill at that time. Bill told me he was young once too and knows what it's like, and he got me into the loaner an extra day or two to let my money clear so that I could come pick up and pay for my repairs.

so far i've had a great experience at Haggerty... they took my car in for the scheduled oil change/tire rotation, worked on it in a timely manner.. i have zero complaints... and usually i am NOT a fan of car dealerships or their service departments... but i have to admit, Haggerty has proven me wrong... the FREE oil changes that came with the purchase of my car have expired, but i will still take my car in at Haggerty for maintenance work.. keep up the good work guys...

The guys in the service department are always so pleasant and usually can tell me the issue that my vehicle might be having in a timely manner. Usually if they need to keep my vehicle overnight, they make sure that I have a way back home.

I have bought at least seven vehicles through the years from this dealer. I have always been treated courteously, efficiently, and professionally by every level management and service, from the top on down. They do not waste my time and make very effort to meet my needs. Terrific dealer. Bill Haggerty runs a wonderful dealership.

I won't be shopping here again. Most of staff not customer friendly. After my business was finished with sales person ,I was thanked with a negative comment. I didn't notice the slight of car until later. What I left with is not what I test drove. I was confused about some stuff but not anymore . Guess that's why I was told vehicle didn't need a inspection . It better keep running. So, I would say shop at your own risk, take pics of car you want to buy and bring someone with you. Be sure to double/ triple check your vehicle before you drive off the lot.

Steve and the crew at Haggerty are always on top of their game. When I pulled in, Dustin knew exactly who I was and what I was there for, had my loaner ready for me and even got the services done same day, which meant I had my truck back for the rest of the weekend, which I appreciate. This is just another example of the stellar performance Haggerty Buick GMC provides. I have bought multiple vehicles here, and service multiple vehicles. I wouldn't think of going anywhere else. The professional but at the same time family atmosphere is what keeps me coming back time and time again.

Went in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation. Also requested that they take a look at the rear underside as there have been a couple of odd sounds lately. Whole process was smooth...was told it would be an hour and it was. They let me know that all was ok underneath and that the noises were probably just ice breaking loose. Exactly why I return to them for all of my maintenance needs.

I bought my car through this dealership, and I take it back for all the regular maintenance (oil changes) and service work. I have been exceedingly impressed with their service department, as both the quality of work and customer service are outstanding. I recently had to get some work done on the AC system and my bumper to bumper warranty was up, but their service manager Steve went to bat for me with GM and they ended up covering almost the entire cost of the repair. Their techs are all certified and do great work, and their service and sales staff are very friendly and professional. I will continue to get my car serviced, as well as buy my next vehicle, at this dealership. I would highly recommend them to anyone shopping for their next vehicle or needing service.

Haggerty Buick GMC Service Department appointments have almost always been easy to secure, and convenient. While USUALLY thorough, there have, at times, been lapses: asked to resecure the brake pedal pad (failed to complete the job); asked to have 40 psi on tires (failed to accomplish); latest: neglected to readjust the oil remaining indicator. Minor stuff, but what about the major, unseen items?

I would not recommend this dealership to anybody. We purchased a Luxury SUV here and shortly after started having issues with it. The staff nor the manager were helpful and lifted their hands from all liability. With the understanding that it was purchased less than a month ago, I would think they would service the car to at least make sure we don't have any issues to begin with. I don't recommend for anybody to come to this place, at all. We are regretfully stuck with a vehicle that seems to be climbing up with issues (this is our second problem in less than a month). Stay away and go to someone that actually cares.

I absolutely have the upmost confidence at Haggerty Buick GMC Villa Pak IL location. Joe Haggerty has been the most precise, reliable, professional I have ever dealt with in this industry. I refuse to go anywhere else. I believe I have brought my vehicle in on 3 separate issues regarding accidents with extensive damages. Joe and his team have far exceeded my expectations. Please give the recognition he and his team deserves. I m hoping in the future not to have any more issues with my vehicle, but if I do, I will always be loyal to this particular branch. I went to get and oil change as I normally do, I have never had any issues. Everyone is really nice and genuinely concerned about customer service. However today I was unpleasantly surprise when I found the top half of my vape pen screwed off. Gone!!!! I called back to ask about the missing piece and was advised no one saw it or at least no one owned up to it!!! I m most disappointed in the lack of concern about my call, the response was ok let me ask. Go review the videos I know you have them. Please be sure all your items are out of sight and locked away before you leave your car alone with the people who are only supposed to be doing their job and not digging through your belongings!!!!!!!!

Used car buyers beware!

Back in July, my mom and I were looking for a reliable, used vehicle and found a car we were interested in on Haggerty's website. I called and spoke to Al who said he'd have the car ready for us when we arrived. We went there a few hours later, test drove the car and decided we liked it. We talked at length with Al about how we wanted something safe and reliable and how we'd be taking it to Missouri (where my mom lives) to do safety & title inspections. They knew this furthermore because we did not pay sales tax upon buying since we'd be taking care of that in MO.

Al swore up and down this car was such a great car, he'd let his daughters drive it and there were guys in the dealership that were hoping to take it home (I find this hard to believe since the car was on the lot for a month, but I digress). We asked him many different times about the inspection the dealership does and he promised us we're getting a good quality car in safe working condition. He (and his manager) said Haggerty stands by their cars and want to make sure they are putting safe vehicles on the road. My mom and I felt good about buying from them and closed the deal.

We were duped. Not even 2 weeks later, my mom took the car for safety inspections and failed them. 3 different mechanics (including one licensed Buick GMC dealer) told us we shouldn't have been allowed to drive it from Chicago to STL in the condition it was in. The torque strut mount and rack & pinion were broken and the power steering was leaking (an additive was found to help mask the problem), among other issues. We asked all three mechanics if this was an issue that happened in the last 2 weeks and all three agreed it was in poor condition prior and that any halfway decent inspection should have caught it. All three quoted us between $1,000-$1,800 to make it safe to drive and pass inspections.

We called Haggerty, hoping they would stand by all the promises they made and instead they told my mom "maybe a rock hit it" and then told her she signed an agreement that the car was sold "as-is". So much for standing by their inspection and cars TWO WEEKS after selling it and performing a "50-point inspection'. After continuing to press them to stand by their word, they offered my mom ~$200. What a complete joke.

Don't buy into their "used car inspections" and "trusted reputation". If you do have problems, they will talk down to you and not stand by their cars.

Originally had thought that this dealership was top notch, having to buy a car is stressful enough, but add in a pandenmic and it was even worse. Was impressed by how everything was handled...until a few months later and it seems this dealership is no different than any other when it comes to not doing what they say they said they would. If you are in the market for a car I would certainly think about going elsewhere where people actually stand behind their word because that won't happen here. Their finance department is absolutely the worst!

I recently brought my Truck in for repairs that I thought were covered under my warranty. My truck is only 2 years old and I have paid for an extended warranty. When the service mgr told me the repairs were not covered and would cost $800, I was shocked. I went with my gut feeling and took my vehicle to another GMC dealership. Thank God I did. Turns out all my repairs were indeed covered and Haggerty was just trying to take advantage of a consumer. Do better Haggerty. This are very difficult times for all of us.

Vince was the most rude salesman and needs to learn professionalism and customer service I would never recommend purchasing a vehicle from him. Salesperson was outstanding. Tim Butterly went well above and beyond to assure he covered all bases for us. Never felt pressured, Tim has a way of making customer feel comfortable and at ease during the process.
This is the 3rd car (in a row) I have purchased from Haggerty Buick - from sales to the service department - guys are professional, kind and courteous. Thank you guys!
