I recently leased a new 2013 Buick Verano Turbo from Haggerty Buick GMC. My first leased vehicle and my first Buick! The process went very smoothly and the car is great. My sales consultant was very professional and helpful. They made sure I was comfortable with the ins and outs of my Verano before I left the Dealership. It felt like a true luxury buying experience when dealing with the people from Haggerty. I have received several compliments on the car already, and also people asking me what kind of car I am driving. I like not being main stream.

Tim Butterly was my sales associate and Danny Haggerty was the sales manager there at the time and I really felt like they had my best interests in mind and were truly trying to help me get my best deal. I also go there for service and the service team is great too! I definitely recommend this dealership!

I had a truck i loved. Exact same truck at two different dealerships. Dealership 1 (not Haggerty) - was terrible, never called back, I spent 4 hours just trying to get someone to help me and they couldn't be bothered to call back, when i did finally get help he couldn't give final prices unless you were present (total bs by the way), they added fees that were already part of the price (destination...), added extras that you would never need, did the whole funny math sheets business, brought in the "manager" to help. It didn't.
Haggerty - I dealt with Paul, never met Paul in person. Talked to him on the phone and told him the truck I liked he got back to me 10 minutes later with a price that was exactly what i would have to write the check for (taxes, tags, fees) all included. No BS, no "you have to be present". I show up the truck is great, he actually knows what all the features are and what they do. I actually changed my mind after seeing the truck i loved at dealership 1 and called paul (from dealership 1) because they had the EXACT same car and dealership 1 was running funny numbers. He gave me same price as he gave me earlier for more expensive car. I test drove and bought a car from them in under 2 hours (from time i arrived on the lot to leaving with my new truck). And to top it off Paul was able to get me another $1000 off, I didn't even ask for it. He just did it.

Professional staff who consistently was available ...

Professional staff who consistently was available to answer my questions and worked diligently to find a car in my budget. I visited Castle GMC and they were pushy and even went as far as to hold onto my current vehicles keys until I demanded they be returned.
I would not hesitate to do business with Haggerty GMC again.

Wow, what can I say about the Villa Park Haggerty ...

Wow, what can I say about the Villa Park Haggerty Buick GMC?!?! As always, they delivered fantastic, HIGH QUALITY service that can NOT be beat!!! The Service Manager Steve Goldman and his team of Service Advisors, Technicians, & Porters never upset!!! They deserve ANY available award that is out there for Service Departments/Dealerships. I will never take my vehicles anywhere else for service or purchase future vehicles from anywhere else but Haggerty Buick GMC in Villa Park. Simply THE BEST!!!!

But I assure you.. i am not gonna drive 4 hours to buy a car from them after the way I was treated over the phone. Rude, there is no sense in that! It costs nothing to be kind. I ain t about blasting folks. But thought I d save someone else the trouble of dealing with them. RUDE, arrogant, and insulting all the way around.

They took me in right away. Checked, then found the problem. They didn t have the part and offered me two options. Come back or if I wanted to wait they ll get he part ASAP. I waited and was in & out in 2&1/2 hours. All the service people are courteous and very understanding. I d highly recommend them should anyone need service.

Completely committed fraud in my book. Sold me a vehicle with substandard body work done to the vehicle. In less than one week the paint was chipping and rust popping back through. They obviously tried to cover up the rust and did a great job for a week. This is no different than rolling back mileage to make a sale. Completely dishonest and zero integrity.

On Saturday 2/8/19 I went to haggerty buick gmc to discuss a possible vehicle purchase... I brought my trade in to be appraised... the used car manager appraised it at 10,500 I said can we go 11,000 as it is very clean... he stated that he didn't want to give 10,500 and that 11,000 was out of the question and that they weren't making any money on this deal anyhow... my dad and I looked at eachother and shook our heads... the used car manager then yelled ...THEN DONT BUY OUR VEHICLE!!! this experience has taught us one thing... its haggerty's way or no way!!! Meanwhile...they told us the vehicle we wanted was in the saint Louis area...we looked it up online and found out that it was 2,354.00 cheaper than the price quoted by haggerty...so much for them not making money...the southern Illinois dealer gave us 11,000 dollars in trade!!! We were treated respectfully, fairly and our business was appreciated by the southern il dealer...this experience has shown me the value of honesty and integrity in a car dealership and haggerty has neither.

We purchased a 2019 Buick Enclave at the end of De...

We purchased a 2019 Buick Enclave at the end of December, 2018. Initially, everything was excellent on the vehicle, but after a road trip and the first 2,500 miles it developed the transmission stuttering problem that has been encountered in many of the GM 8- and 9-speed transmissions. GM is still scrambling to address the root cause of these, and at first when I took the car to Haggerty, they were not fully familiar with the root cause either. However, they quickly began doing their homework to investigate the problem and identified GM s current recommendation for fixing the problem. They performed the recommended work, and I left the car with them to drive a few days to make sure the issue was addressed. I now have the vehicle back, and it is greatly improved. Hopefully, the transmission flush and fluid replacement, indeed, is the root cause. That is GM s challenge to fully address, but as for Haggerty s Service Department (I interfaced with Bill and Steve), I give them high marks for professionalism, attentiveness to our concerns, and thorough follow-through. I will continue to go to them for the service of this vehicle - all still under full warranty.

Now I have to spend money out of pocket on top of what I paid for a brand new truck to fix an issue that shouldn t have of happened to begin with.

From start to finish, working with Dan Haggerty is so incredibly easy and efficient. We ended up with a beautiful new 2021 Denali (our 2nd one!). It came in earlier than expected, communication was flawless from Dan and then at pick-up, I was in and out in 30 minutes as everything was ready and organized with Tim on our paperwork and review of the vehicle and Chris on the finance team. The facility is so clean and everyone is beyond friendly and helpful. Job well done and I will always recommend them!

I was very disappointed with my purchase. I specifically told the salesman that I wanted chrome rims. In order for me to upgrade from my older model Lacrosse I wanted to have chrome wheels or I did not want the vehicle. I even suggested taking the old rims off my car and switching them out. Unfortunately, they did not fit. I was ignored initially then the suggestion came to dip my rims in chrome and it will look just like the ones I had. Long story short. Its looks nothing like my other rims or any other chrome rim.. Very disappointed and I will not purchase another vehicle from them again. The sale is more important than the customer.

I know the saying is "buyer beware" but I bought a used vehicle from the dealer with less than 80k miles on it. In the first couple days I noticed a few issues and e-mailed my salesman. I got no response. Within a couple weeks I started receiving e-mail offers to schedule service with their service department. I have sent messages to their appointment line as well as gone straight to their website and e-mailed them from there, never with any response. I'd repect them more if they at least said, " um yeah it's a used car so deal with it", but their customer service sucks so bad they don't even reply if you have anything negative to say. This is disappointing because the main reason I felt comfortable buying from them was that I use to do business with them for the company I worked for. Not any more!

My husband bought our first car with Haggerty over 8 years ago. When it came time for us to get an SUV, I did a lot of research and fell in love with the Terrain, so we returned to Haggerty. Ryan gave us a wonderful experience in 2014 and when it came close to turning in that lease, we were in an unfortunate accident that totaled the car. We both were ok and walked out of the car, still healing from the injuries but overall ok. We both were so impressed with the safety of the Terrain so naturally we went back for the next one. Ryan was so sympathetic and understanding of what we've been through. He made our experience perfect again, completing the process for us so quickly with no back and forth. The finance manager Chris came to us to assure us that he was just about ready for us and also asked if we were ok. He also was a pleasure to work with again, too. Toward the end of our visit, Bill, the owner, came to us and said he was glad we were ok and we had a wonderful conversation. Every time that I've come in for an oil change or any service, Steve has also been a pleasure to work with. Anyone in my personal circle looking for a car, I would highly recommend Haggerty but even if you're not in my circle, please just speak to Haggerty. They have a wonderful team of people that work so well together! Thank you, Haggerty and have a wonderful Christmas!

I'm in town from Michigan for a wedding and had an emergency with my truck. It was causing the truck to Rattle and vibrate so severely I thought I was going to lose engine power. I made a phone call to Haggerty service center in Dustin Lindley squeezed me in and offered me the best kind of customer service you can ask for. Especially since I only had 3 hours before I needed to put on a tuxedo for the wedding. The mechanic's name was Jake kiebles and he took the time necessary to not only diagnose but offered me his opinion on whether I can make it home to Michigan safely or not. While trying to make my decision he decided to take another shot at diagnosing without the computer but using his expertise. By doing a little switch of the coils he was able to determine that the coil in cylinder 2 was faulty and he immediately sent a runner to purchase a new coil. Within two hours he completely fixed the issue that had been slowly getting bad over the last 6 months. I could not be happier with the job that these two guys did for me and the customer service during the process was impeccable. These two should be commended for what they did for me.

Purchased a used car 2 years ago that has been a headache since the day we drove it off the lot. Called today to get the history of the service performed on the vehicle as my very trusted and professional Mechanic requested and had the unpleasant experience of speaking with Bill who was very rude and condescending. I asked that the history be emailed to me but he said there would be no way to do that until the end of the day, so I just had him read it off while I wrote it down. It took more time for him to read it to me then to just email it. He also proceeded to tell me that I should take it to a real mechanic, a GMC mechanic. After the horrible experience with them during the immediate issues with the car right after driving it off the lot to this unpleasant phone call I cannot see myself ever going back to this dealership again or recommending them to anyone I know. If zero stars could be given, that s what they d get.

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! The service department will be the only one to touch my car over the next three years of my lease. I will admit I leased a new 2020 GMC Terrain Denali at one of Haggerty's competitors. Since the day I bought I have nothing but problems with the car and the dealership damaging the hood. It was at the competitors dealership from July- November. When I picked up the car I wasn't happy and I was fed up with the other dealership. The car was never fixed. That same day I took my car to Haggerty and met Niko. As soon as I pulled into the service I knew Haggerty service was 100x better than the place I bought it from. I told Niko everything and explained all the problems with the car. Without hesitation he schedule me an appointment on November 6th and gave me a loaner. A hour after I dropped the car off I got a call from Niko saying there is rear end damage on my car. Its a brand new car and my car was at the previous dealership for almost 4 months. The other dealership damaged my car and tried hiding it. The service manager Steve said their bodyshop will try and get out as much of the scratches as possible. The interior of my car needed a lot of work with the headliner and dashboard. I tried to get the first dealership to replace the dashboard and headliner for months and they refused to do it. Niko calls me the next day and tells me I have a new dashboard and headliner on the way. They also replaced all the broken parts and clips that the other dealership left in car. A couple days later Niko called me to let me know the parts arrived and it should be a couple more days until my car is ready. He also wanted to let me know the previous dealership used DUCT TAPE on my entire headliner to try and fix the problem and hold it together. I could not believe it. They had my car for four months and used duct tape to try and fix the issues. Who knows if they really looked at it. It probably just sat for days. Haggerty had my car for 2 weeks and had all the major problems fixed in that timeframe. The whole staff was outstanding and professional. So thank you to Niko, Steve, and Pedro. If you need any service for you GM car go see the guys from Haggerty. I highly recommend them. When my lease is up and Im interested in a GM I will doing my business with Haggerty instead of the competitor.

The service at GMC Buick Haggerty is been exceptional! I have bought three cars from them and have always used their service to repair or get maintenance done on my vehicles.
Every time I get service I recommend Jake K. as my service tech mechanic because he is the best there is. I brought my truck in today and fixed a problem with a wheel bearing and had it fixed in less than an hour. He is very knowledgeable and quick at what he does. Doesn t give you the runaround just honest and timely work. He has always taken great care of me and my vehicles which my wife and I use daily. I have never been disappointed in his work and will continue to ask for him every time I visit! Thanks again Jake k.

I needed service on my 2015 Terrain that I did not purchase there. Bill Iverson was my service advisor. Great guy to deal with. He listened to my concerns very patiently. He called me back early the next day (my truck was a drop off) and told me what was going on. He advised me on what needed immediate attention, what needed to be watched, and services that should be done. He didn t push any service on me that wasn t necessary. That s a HUGE PLUS!

Service usually gets a bad rap in the industry and it s rare when you can find a dealership that honestly puts value on their customers!

Great job Bill!! I ll definitely be back to Haggerty for service on my vehicle.

PS- I think they do drop offs and possible pick ups. Not sure because I had a ride to and from home. Y all might wanna ask.

PSS- It would ve been even better if my truck was washed. Maybe next time...?

I lost faith in Buick dealership due to an experience at another location but this location has restored my faith back in Buick again....I just got my fuel pump installed and an oil change.....I will be back to get a few other things done as well. People were telling me to just let a mechanic install it for cheaper...I said no I am going to let this location do the installation and I am very pleased with my decision...Bill was great and answered all of my questions and made awesome suggestions. The technician Justin was great as well and I will be requesting him upon my return...Thank you all for taking care of my Buick Verano

Had an excellent experience at Haggerty, with my first ever car purchase. Before visiting Haggerty I was comparing offers at a myriad of Chicagoland Buick dealerships, and even ended up visiting a few a little closer to home while trying to track down the model with all the specifications I wanted. Several other dealerships did the typical bait and switch, saying the car that I had confirmed in their inventory had just sold after my call, or did not qualify for the promotions offered online.... but unlike their competitors, my experience at Haggerty was totally transparent and straightforward! While Villa Park is a little bit of a hike from the city, the commute was beyond worth it for the awesome service their team provided.

I called in with the stock number to confirm that they had the specific vehicle I was interested in viewing on the premises. From my first call all the way through to signing the papers, Jim Borchers on the sales team was beyond helpful guiding me through the car buying process. He went out to make sure the car was physically in stock, visually confirmed that it had all the features I wanted, and did not try and rush me in the door like other places. There was no pressure, and he was straightforward explaining the deals that they offered on this make/model as well as the financing options available (some other dealerships told me promotional and financing deals could be combined just to get me in the door, but denied this as soon as I was there in person). Jim was eager to answer all my questions with his honest opinions, and assured me that I should reach out should anything come up after the purchase.

While we were waiting on the financing approval, he walked me through all the features of the car, set up my trial Onstar account, and even took it out to fill up the tank! The rest of the team at Haggerty was also great every step of the way- Chris in financing was helpful in securing me a great rate on my financing (as a recent college grad, this was very important to me), and Tony the Sales Manager kept stopping by to make sure the whole process was running smoothly. While I won't be close enough to take advantage of the free first oil changes and tire rotation service, they are a nice perk if you're in the area. At the end of the day, I left with a smile on my face, feeling amazed that the car buying process could be so painless. Thanks you to Jim and the whole Haggerty team for your exceptional service!

I know that buying a car in these uncertain times is a challenge but Dan Haggerty couldn t have made the process any smoother. One minor hiccup with the car battery but he stuck to his word and fixed the problem. The dealership is clean and all staff wearing masks so I felt very safe. With out a doubt I would highly recommend them for your next vehicle. Ask for Dan he will take care of you.

My 18 year old daughter bought a used car (a 2004 Subaru Forester) from Haggerty and negotiated a great price. Ryan Leach was her sales man and he was courteous and a pleasure for her to deal with. My daughter was very happy with her experience and loved the car. A week later, we noticed some issues with the exhaust system. The used car Manager (Brian Donchez) helped with getting a completely new exhaust system at virtually no cost to us and bent over backwards to settle some concerns we had with the car. He even took the car to a Subaru dealership for some advice on the exhaust system and other questions we had. I would absolutely buy another car from this dealership. They wanted us to be happy, paid for the repairs and were very polite to us. We feel great about the purchase.

I left my car with service for seven days for underbody mechanical work and when I pick my car up there was a sticky substance on the head lamp covers and the covers were very dull and un clear. I figured all I needed was a car wash. After car was my lamps were still unclear so I brought my car back to Buick showed my rep. and (Danny) said this is what happens when your car is left out in open sunlight......Over a year later I still felt uneasy about my headlamps and I spoke with Steve Goldman (Service Manager) about my year old issue. Not only did Steve better explain what may have happened he offered an awesome solution. I'm proud to say that Haggerty Buick Villa Park is my preferred certified dealership.

I have had positive experiences in the past with the sales department. I recently had an excellent experience with the service department. Because of 2 repairs that, unfortunately, happened one right after the other, I was without my car for 3 weeks. The delay in the repairs was NOT because of the service department. The horrible delay was due to Ally who is in charge of my extended protection plan. For each repair, it took about a week to get a representative from Ally to come out to assess the claim before it could be fixed. Bill and Steve in the service department could have simply shrugged their shoulders and said that it was out of their control - which it was. Instead, they made this horrible experience with Ally palatable. Bill was able to secure a loaner vehicle to cover most of the days I was without my car. Then, Bill and Steve advocated on my behalf to get Ally to waive the $100 deductible for the second repair while also getting them to replace the radio (a completely unrelated and uncovered repair) for free! I appreciate how Bill and Steve went above and beyond to stand up for me!

Having an accident is tough, but knowing you have a team like the guys at Haggerty to do a great job on repairs surely helps! My Experience:Last time I went to this place, it was a bad experience probably due to the mechanics strike, so I gave them a bad review and they called me the next day and manager said in a demeaning tone he'd make it up to me with a free oil change. When I took it in for an issue that I thought would be covered under warranty, ended up not so, but no free oil change. $300 and on top of that, it was $72 for the oil change! I have never paid that much for an oil change, maybe they put gold instead of oil in my engine. Good luck if you choose to go to this place, but I'll try Castle or some other dealers in the area. Thinking about the referrals I sent there.....no more....

When there is a problem, the service staff has always been open and transparent about issues and cost. If there has been a problem on their end, the service team has always found a way to rectify the issue. Great Service!

I purchased a new 2018 Terrain that had a multitude of problems with it that were manufacturer related. Haggerty took great care to remedy all the issues which was under warranty and gave me a loaner for 2 weeks. Haggerty GMC was great, it was GMC customer service in Detroit that was less than customer friendly. Thanks to the way, Bill, Steve and all the guys handled the issues they have kept a long time customer.
Had my Terrain back in the shop again on July 3rd for yet another issue. Once again service stepped up to the plate and immediately took care of it. I just wish GMC Customer Service was half as attentive. (Follow-up) I have now had my car back to the dealer for the 9th time in 13 months for more issues. I have contacted GMC customer service 4 times to try and get out of this car and into another. They tell you how important you are as a customer blah blah, and claim they will do everything in their power to make it right. Bottom line is they wait a week or so (acting as if they actually tried to do something) only to be told there is nothing they will do. The last rep I spoke to stated that they will honor the warranty as if they were doing me a favor. They have spent a ton of money repairing this car instead of working on a deal to get me out of it and into another one. I am now waiting for more parts to come in so my car can go back into the shop for more repairs. Horrible horrible customer service by GMC don,t deal with them. They could care less. Update: Radio replaced, now dealing with GMC legal department to get trade in assistance. Haggerty sent them all paperwork they requested immediately. A week later GMC claims they now never received it so it was sent again. It has been 2 weeks and no follow-up by GMC legal. I have left 3 messages for the caseworker. No response. I was told she was on a conference call and would call me back. I contacted Guinness Book of records because this has to be the longest conference call in history, 4 days later still waiting Will contact them AGAIN on 08-26 and see what kind of runaround they give me this time. Called again on 08-26, was told I was scheduled for a call-back at 2:40 pm that day. How this barely English speaking person knew that was beyond me. Needless to say, they never called. Finally got a call back days later on the 09-03 and was told they "should" have an answer by the end of the day on the 4th. Oh good, more waiting. Well after more days of waiting and a total time of 13 months of phone calls, e-mails, and letters and being denied 4 times, the buy back was approved. Now its back in the dealerships hands. Well I thought this was back in the dealerships hands and I was wrong. Now there is at least a 2 week process for them to look up the account number and determine what the balance is that they need to pay off. I contacted them 4 days later to ask them the status and they said they did not have the info yet. So in 10 minutes I got the info from GM Finance and gave it to them. Now it will be another 2 weeks to check and "review" all the paperwork. WOW what a nightmare.
Well after 2 weeks it was all approved and I now have a new 2019 Terrain. Haggerty made it very easy to complete all the paperwork and now I am waiting for a refund from GMC for overpayment. Its been weeks and still nothing. I contacted GMC Finance asking about my refund for cancelled service plans and over payment. They said it could take up to 60 days to get it back. WOW I wish I could pay my bills 60 days later than when they are due.

Do not buy a "certified" used car from these people!! I brought my Haggerty "CERTIFIED" USED car to a GM dealer closer to my home they noticed a metal fluid line that was spliced and put fused back together with rubber hose and clamps. They wouldn't even attempt to fix it said it was a joke that they sold the car like that. Then when I took the car in for service I had a loaner car reserved when I arrived NO LOANER ad was told I could wait an hour till the rental agency opened..
EASIER TO BUY ELSEWHERE ...AVOID THE LIES AND AGGRAVATION !!!
