Good hotel but far from airport takes 45 min from airport with wait for shuttle

Service correct, rooms correct. Conveniently located near airport, large businesses. Bit outdated rooms, but no blocking issues.

Have stayed here many many times in last few years. Sure you know why now. What's more, they have a good breakfast spread. However the restaurant menu has very limited choice for vegetarians for lunch or dinner. I wish there was more.

Not the best place I have been. I would expect more luxury from crown plaza. The room service is cheap but you don t have much choice.

Great hotel. Platinum member booked standard and upgraded to deluxe on club floor. It's far from Amsterdam city and use will be around 40 euro. Employees and friendly and do a good job. One thing is that staff lack the showing sense of care to the customer well being. :)

Because of a canceled flight, I was accommodated in this hotel (supported by the airline) which I found very comfortable

They have a free shuttle every 40 minutes to and from the schipol airport. The location is not the best, its a deserted place which is a 10-15 minute walk from the Hoofddorp centre and railway stations. This area mainly has only hotels. The room itself was good and spacious. Good choice if you have a long layover at the airport. If you plan to visit the city then may not be the best choice.

Power kept going out. Carpets were not clean and smelled. Shower wasn't working properly. Staff was very friendly and helpful though.

Great hotel for business trips. Very friendly staff, always will meet. Chateau to the Airport at always on time. In short, nothing to complain about.

A good hotel for people doing business in the town. Quite comfortable and with polite personel. However, do not try to open the safebox; you will not succed. The room service is expesive. You may eat at the Cafe restorant with fairly goog cusine and rather modest prices.

Lovely hotel, new but established, no signs of wear, staff nice.

I must admit I was pleasantly surprised with this restourant, greater variety of food, ok prices and the set menu items were absolutely superb. Portions were just a little on the small side.

Ok hotel. But dirty and weird smell in the room. Not what I expect from the "Crown Plaza" Breakfast was good.

Not the most picturesque part of Holland but with a free airport shuttle bus and a warm welcome when checking in I definitely recommend this Crowne Plaza if you're in transit or need easy access to the Intercity train network.

This is one of the hotels provided by KLM for passengers stranded at schipol due to delays or cancellations. Even then, there is no dental or shaving kit which should be a basic as stranded passengers never have their luggage on them. Average rooms but spacious and a 15 minute shuttle ride away from Schipol airport. Stayed here for one night. Fixed course Dinner was average, breakfast was above average.

Hoofdorp station is 10-12 Mins Walk and Amsterdam central another 23 Mins from here by train.

Older property, but has some good rooms and suites available. Breakfast generally very good, with a chef at the serving island making omelettes to order. Evening meals also good although choice relatively limited, and can be expensive. Overall will be using this hotel again, due to regular shuttle to airport, and proximity to railway station running to Centraal station via Schiphol.

It is a nice hotel. The front also was a gentle gentleman.

Friendly staff. Neat and spacious rooms. Great free WiFi everywhere. Decent meeting rooms and associated facilities. However, not cheap at all in terms of both the overnight stay and the parking space.

I prefer NH Schiphol nearby much more, even though that Crowne has better food.. NH has better quality and service.

Always stay here when travelling on business . Near the airport but far enough away not to have the noise. Never struggle to find parking and a free regular airport transfer for when I don't have the car. Restaurant is really good with the steak being my usual. Finally tried something different and the Chicken Thighs and stir fry was beautiful, with the most perfectly cooked Chicken. The chicken alone was perfect.

I was there 2 years ago with my girlfriend because I had to go dancing at the mysteryland. I personally liked and were all very friendly and polite. The next time I go to the mysteryland I go back because it's convenient you're about 10 feet from the shuttle stop that takes you to the event. Pretty cool. Plus when you come back from the event you can make one last beer at the bar, which you want more

Dated decor needs renovation. The windows do not open and guests can't adjust air-conditioning, so I was very hot. Too hot to sleep. Front desk lady was rude and did not let me have access to the club lounge even though I have Platinum ihg status. I had paid extra for breakfast and I would have liked to had a quick coffee in the lounge. The porter and bus driver was nice

Easy location to the airport and free shuttle bus. Friendly service at the hotel and clean and spacious room. No issues at all. Would recommend.

Nice hotel for an American chain. I enjoy the IHG member benefits. That being said, I find it inexcusable that there is no Atm on the property. The staff's lack of knowledge on the subject was doubly frustrating. Just FYI, the closest is a good 15 minute walk. In my opinion the staff should be more courteous and knowledgeable about what surrounds their hotel, especially is such a desolated office park as to where this one is located.

Handy for the airport, clean and tidy with good wifi, but the rooms are small. When I stayed, the fire alarm went off at 5.30am and we evacuated to the car park in the rain. The reason? They had left the croissants in oven too long in the kitchen.

Nice place located near the train station on the line from the airport (15 min) to Amsterdam Centraal (20 mins), but it had a few deficiencies, mostly related to personnel, starting from our reservation not being correct and taking them 30 mins to fix with no offer for seat and a drink while waiting. Excellent breakfast buffet worth the price.

Hotel with comfortable and clean rooms. Excellent international breakfast. Although in the suburbs, near the airport, it has a free shuttle service with departures every 30/40 minutes to facilitate its achievement.

Would not stay again. Got put there when plane was canclled, got more or less thrown into the restaurant after 8hrs on the airport, because they were to close it soon. And its understandable that places closes, but it would be nice with a little less stress.

The rooms are big, but the bathroom had no drain, so water got everywhere, there was also mould in the bathroom. There seem to be a electrical fault in the wall since its a loud buzzing sound by 401, and had the enjoyment of waking up at 3am for the minibar to go "BANG BANG BANG" like someone was banging on the wall.

Woke up to a breakfast that was salty and boring at best, glad it was paid by KLM, because man, that food is like taken out of a highschool cafeteria

Great stay at an affordable rate in a family friendly environment. Easy access to and from AMS airport, and walking distance to the commuter rail stop.

Rooms are clean. Staff is very nice and attentive. I missed the airport shuttle by seconds. As I turned around to go back into the hotel I was met by two staff members who offered to drive me to the airport. Above and beyond in my opinion.

Hotel markets the rooms as modern but they're certainly outdated. Also, the airport shuttle should stop where it says it should (stop A9 at the airport.

Somewhat dated but nicely maintained and clean hotel. A very good breakfast offering to and selection. Friendly staff. Great location to train station but the shuttle from the airport during our arrival was a mess with long wait times (too many passengers and too small of a shuttle). If you're traveling with a family, better off jumping into a taxi.

The staff are friendly and helpful from the airport shuttle drivers to the front desk and the staff at the restaurant downstairs. Also, there has been a wonderful improvement of the beds with has had a positive effect on my quality of sleep. I'm looking forward to my next visit here, keep it up!

The hotel is nice, has spacious rooms and the breakfast is varied. The reception has good service and the hotel staff are cordial. The negative is the location as it is 25 or 30 minutes far from the bustling center of Amsterdam. On the other hand, the hotel offers transportation to / from the airport.

Large bedrooms, large bed. Impeccable service. I recommend. It is better to speak English / Dutch to be understood.

This isnt a "real" Crowne Plaza Hotel. I have stayed on several Crowne Plaza but here you really does not fefl treated as a valued guest. But treated as a KLM sleep over.
The employees are very friendly and helpful, but you know from the first thing at check in that you aren't a real guest, but a KLM SleepOver.

Used one night due to KLM flight cancellation. Old hotel, clean good service but old rooms although spacious. Bathroom ko.

Arrival: Despite arriving late, the room was not ready and we had to wait around 40 minutes until the key was handed over to us. A free drink in the hotel bar could have quickly reduced displeasure. Instead, you were only told to stand in the corner so as not to block the reception for other visitors.

Cleanliness: We found hair in the bathroom and in the bed. The white bedspread and sheet also had several smaller and larger stains.

Equipment: The equipment of the rooms is upscale, but not all sockets worked, others only when the light was switched on. The television allows you to connect your own devices, but an HDMI cable could not be borrowed on request.

Service: In principle, everyone was friendly, but the men and women were a bit stressed when we arrived "unplanned" and reacted accordingly.

Breakfast: The breakfast was varied and tasted good. Unfortunately, the containers weren't refilled half an hour before the end and therefore some guests had to be content with significantly less choice.

Received voucher for this hotel due to missed connection. Room was clean however basic necessities package and breakfast hasn't been provided.
