It's not marked or made clear where to go exactly for an oil change. I walked in the garage area of the 'Express Service' only to be ignored for about 3-4 minutes while someone typed away on the computer. When I was finally addressed, the guy told me to pull in behind a car at the express service bay. I left the key in the car and went into the waiting area where someone finally came over to check me in 45 minutes later. I then had to wait another 45 minutes before my car was done. When I arrived there was only 1 car in front of me. So much for 'Express' Service. I was on my lunch, so needless to say it took way longer than my lunchtime to complete. I loved the sale process of our vehicle, but service leaves something to be desired. The one nice thing was that I found out my first oil change was free - that was the only saving grace about this visit.

I appreciate the comfortable waiting area while they did my oil change. Also appreciated the salesman Jessie spending so much time with me. He explained several options that I have when my lease runs out.

I would advise against using the service departmen...

I would advise against using the service department for anything other than a simple oil change.
I took my SUV in because of a noise and service light this was 5/20/14 I was charged 95.15 to run a diagnostic. Said it needed an throttle body clean and an injection flush another 128.53 telling this should take care of noise. Left took car back to work and after work started car same sound and check engine light on again called service department and they told me to bring back on 5/30/14. They then informed me that it needed a secondary INJ. valve at $490.00 I informed them that I had the extended warranty so they did the work on 6/4/14 and I pd 100.00 deductible. Picked up car drove back to work then when I was leaving work you guessed it same sound still not fixed. Once again I called and they scheduled me in again. 6/6/14 Need a new Water pump now. Scheduled for 6/16/14 Loud sound now gone, but I still have a hum sound called service department to be told that it could take up to three weeks for (wait for it) the water pump to break in. REALLY so needless to say I have taken my car to a different dealership and the service department informed me that it was the fan clutch and fixed costing me another $100 deductible (they did try to get it waived) I will NEVER use the service department at McGonigal again.....

I approached a salesman by the name of Blake Brown (well, actually he met me at the door) with a VERY off the wall trade situation. After telling him where I was at on my numbers, the team, especially Blake, at H. E. McGonigals went above and beyond to get me into a brand new truck, within the less than appealing lines I was trying to stay between on my payment. I am MORE than please with my McGonigals experience and plan to return to Blake and his team for any new vehicle I plan to purchase. Absolutely great experience.

LOF and tire rotation crew identified several defects in my tires, one quite serious. Fortunately McGonigal's had four similar tires in stock and installed them in a hour and a half. The right front wheel was out of spec. on the camber setting and was corrected with a front end alignment.

Great experience. Had an oil change and tires rotated. The folks that worked in Express educated me about what I would need to do next visit and to call ahead and they would make sure they had the filters, etc. In stock. Thank you to the folks in EXPRESS.

I would tell anyone I know to go buy a vehicle here.they all are friendly people and they work with you and go that extra mile to get you in a vehicle. They treat you with respect and don't look down on you. Arron Pitts was my salesman and hands down loved working with him. I love my vehicle I got from there and there service center is amazing as well. This place makes you feel very welcome.

I always receive a friendly reception. This particular oil change trip, it was important that I was in and out in less than an hour. My daughter and I had a very comfortable wait. And the work was completed in 30 minutes! With a smile! Much appreciated!!

I brought my car in because side detection system and front camera were working. They diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts, and called me to make an appt to install the new parts. It took a little over 2 hours and I was on my way. Great job.

Elliot, my salesman is extremely valuable. Did a great job of helping me pick out a GMC Terrain SUV that I just love. He is always available when I need him and very friendly. The service department is also friendly and very helpful. A great place to buy a new GMC, Cadillac or Buick.

Express service is an understatement. When I pulled in I ask how long I was told 45 mins. It took an hour and a half. And to top that off 2 customers that came in after got thier service and was gone by the time i paid my bill.

The service department scheduled my appointment around my lunch hour. I had to cancel the first appointment due to bad weather and they rescheduled me again during my lunch hour with no hesitation. Everyone was friendly and very cooperative.

They did not check tire pressure and fluids like I asked. They said if I wanted to hold off picking up my car they could get that done. I could not wait, because of time constraints. The service reps were very helpful and courteous. But I just didn't feel confident they would take care of the details (like doing the little things I asked). I was very happy with a V.P. who took my granddaughter and I to car rental place so we would not have to wait any longer.

When I brought my vehicle in for a routine oil change there were no issues. After leaving I noticed my wheel was now hard to turn. I stopped to read the paperwork from the oil change and seen that my powersteering fluid had been filled. So I took the vehicle back and asked for someone to look at it because it was completely fine before I brought it to the shop. They took it back and looked at it. I was then told that the powersteering pump had went out. They said this is common in these models. I am not a mechanic but I know that when a power steering pump is going bad there are symptoms in advance. There was absolutely no symptoms leading up to this. Seems odd that the fluid was filled and then all of a sudden my pump is bad. Not to mention that I noticed the difference immediately after leaving yet the person who drove my car up to the lot didn't notice nor say anything before sending me off with my car.

Service Dept was horrible. Had my vehicle for almost 3 months and still did not solve the issue. Service had an accident while test driving my vehicle. Body shop was very poor. Had to take back to redo paint and still came back jacked up

I bought a used Mini Cooper from McGonigal s one year ago and it has been nothing but trouble. I bought it as is , but the dealership assured me that their mechanics looked over it and it was in good shape. The day I drove it off the lot, a light indicated that there was a problem. I worried that I had just made a horrible decision. They agreed to fix it one time and one time only. I have taken it to my mechanic several times since then for overheating. One year after purchasing it , my mechanic said there is a knock in the engine that is not worth fixing. I didn t know that buying a $7000 car as is meant that I would be paying for it long after it stopped working.

Since purchasing our certified used vehicle in November of 2017, they have tried to nickel and dime us for everything. We were lied to as well probably just to meet the sales quota. We were promised that our first service on the vehicle would be free no matter what needed fixed. The oil needed changed and the battery died not even a month into ownership. It was eventually free but only because we went round and round with them calling them out on their promise. We were guaranteed the faceplate for the child safety lock would be replaced and they never honored it. Here we are six months later and we just had to pay $310 for a service engine light issue which should have been covered by our warranty because it supposedly covers the power train. Here's the kicker. They had the audacity to charge us over $25 on "shop supplies". They claimed it was for the shop rags they used to clean up the mess. They are affiliated with Button Motors as well and boy have we heard some horror stories. They tried to get away with charging my father for rotating his tires years ago when they really didn't because he marked the inside of them before having it done and not a single tire had been rotated. When having my oil changed in January for our other vehicle, they showed me my air filter and recommended it be replaced. They also recommended I get a new oil plug. When checking my bill, they charged labor for replacing both the air filter and drain plug. Didn't they have to take the plug off to drain the oil? Also, they took the air filter out to show me it needed replaced.
They would still have to put it back in if I refused to have it changed. I've been told former employees of the service department were pressured to make up bogus repair claims during oil changes just to bring in extra money. Be careful when dealing with these crooks.

I bought this car in January of 2018 with the fore...

I bought this car in January of 2018 with the forever warranty and the extended warranty. So far I have had to take it in 7 times. Three times for the same issue and now we are on the 8th time of having to take the car in for work. Low and behold now its a pigtail that is out and need a new head lamp because apparently when they did the 10 point check for the warranty they didn't notice moisture. Now mind you I find out it is not covered under warranty because of the moisture so I have to pay $1200 to get a car that I can drive with headlights. I have contacted them about this situation and was told maybe I shouldn't have bought a car with 91,000 miles on it..... AWESOME that is the response I was looking for. I put my life savings into buying this car! As a single parent I do not have $1200 dollars just laying around. I paid $15,000 for a car that is a lemon. Honestly I can't believe McGonigal is okay with taking advantage of people like this.
If someone would like to reach out other than Aaron Pitt please feel free. This car has been nothing but a financial burden and I do not want it any longer.

I waited there for 1 hour untill having to talk to a manager about services had to wait 50 more minutes for my car to get worked on then paying 2x the ammount for a free window washer fluid refill.

We went in for an oil change today around 4:50 and they close at 5:30. We wanted to see if we could catch a ride to eat and they took us and then made sure we had a ride back after hours. They went the extra mile so we could go have dinner instead of waiting on our car. I was impressed with the customer service we received and beyond greatful there is still kind people in this world.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS THE WORST! They charged me $60 to misdiagnose. I was told I need spark plugs and a battery and cable which they would fix for a small fee of $850. I decided we would change the plugs ourselves and we cleaned the battery terminal that they were going to charge me $590 to replace the battery and the cable. So I bought the plugs and changed them for my car only to still misfire. I took it to auto zone where they read my error again same cylinder 2 misfiring so I call McGonagals service center and the gentleman informed me that I could only use ACdelco spark plugs because others won t provide the right spark.. Bull! I told him I did not believe that because the same exact cylinder is misfiring. The guy acted like I was stupid and he didn t want to hear me complain anymore. So I switched my ignition coils and took it back to auto zone for them to read the error and it was cylinder 1 misfiring now. So I obviously need an ignition coil and I had to figure it out myself after paying $60 for a misdiagnosis and paying $30 for spark plugs (which didn t fix it). It would have been worse to pay $850 that they wanted me to do, to not even fix the problem. Wish I never bought my car from McGonagal!

came in around 4:30 pm for an oil change. I had a previous service for my air conditioning and asked if someone could do a quick check to make sure they didn't see a leak. As I understand, this is a quick process to check with a black light..and was told there was no way that they could check for leaks. was surprised since I bought the vehicle at McGonigals and have had all service completed there!

My family has been buying cars here for decades, most recently a used Cadillac CTS that has been great. The unlimited lifetime warranty on (some) used car drivetrains is impossible to beat, I don't know how they can afford to offer it! Great bunch of people that I highly recommend for your next car purchase.

Had my car service for the Winter to come. When I was there visited with all the new & Beautiful cars in the show room !!! Had many Wonderful , Smiling faces greeting me !! Felt very comfortable ! My car was serviced buy the Best in town. Very helpful people!!

I have been dealing with McGonigals since I came to Kokomo in 2012 and have always been treated like a Cadillac owner should be, like royalty. The cheapest car they gave me as a loaner was a new CTS, otherwise its and XTS. They work on both my modern Caddies as well as my '41s. Good service department and have enjoyed both my '02 and '04 DeVilles that I bought here.
