My service guy Glenn really brought my confidence back to Honda of Gwinnett! A couple prior visits had me questioning the commitment to customer service.
He was very attentive , informative ,and he even walked with me to locate my car which was great ! Kudos to Glenn! Good Job!

This review is solely for the service department, as I purchased my Honda from a family member and drove it over from Colorado.

There was a wobbling noise that I was experiencing when driving it here in Atlanta, so I took it in and Brandon Wood was my Service Advisor. He basically got me registered, and set me up with a courtesy ride back to my house (I live about 5 miles away from the dealership) within minutes.

Upon inspection of my car, Brandon was patient with me as I looped in my brother, since I wanted him to hear about the issue and discuss what the potential options were going to be.There was no issues with upselling, or pressure to do anything more than discuss what the possible choices I had are and what I wanted to do moving forward.

I'm sure it was annoying to have two guys conference calling him on a busy Monday to talk about servicing a car that wasn't really sold by that particular dealership, but I found it refreshing to have a frank discussion with a service advisor and not think that I was getting taken advantage of. In fact, once I get the car finished up and ready to go- I think it makes sense that I will be using this local dealership for my service needs from this point forward.

I'd like to recognize Brandon for exceptional work today, and also getting me back on the road without breaking the bank. I'm thankful for the service, and effort in making sure I was happy with everything that happened with getting my "new" Honda safely back on the road.

I bought 2015 CRV from this place, and I have been satisfied with it. However, I really do not like their service department. Every time, the service advisor tried to sell me unnecessary services. I did not know much about the car and was also too naive, so I always spent extra money and ripped off almost every time.

Gwinnett Place Honda was great. I loved the friendly atmosphere and everyone was so welcoming. Collin Harper was one of the best salespersons I ve ever met. He was honest and I could tell he genuinely wanted my family and I to get the best deal on a car. I really liked that he wasn t pushy and manipulative like other salespersons I ve met in the past. He definitely deserves recognition for his genuine personality and his hard work. If you re looking for a car, I recommend requesting an appointment with Collin.

Just had my car serviced here. They have one of the more comfortable waiting rooms I've been in. They have free wifi and areas to sit with your laptop and work. Or, just sit back and watch TV. The service manager was super nice

Love that the sales person I had, Clement, was not pushy or overbearing. That tends to make me go elsewhere when I encounter those type of people. I had a good experience and left out of there with exactly what I wanted (2018 Honda HR-V) at a great price! Will be back in the future!

Very courteous and professional, took my Honda in for a check up and the process couldn t have been smoother. They quickly identified some items with my car that needed attention but were very flexible in what I needed to fix now and what could wait (I have an old CR-V and the ole girl needed some work!). Communication was excellent, and when they needed certain parts they had them overnighted to make sure I got my vehicle back ASAP. We have another Honda vehicle and are already planning on taking that one to this location as well.

Professional, courteous, no haggle experience! From the initial internet inquiry to the first visit to the dealership to test drive, to subsequent follow-up calls by the sales rep (Chris S) to ensure our needs were addressed, to the final appointment at the dealership to buy the car, everything was a pleasant experience. The finance manager also provided very informative details about the warranty and add-on options without any sales pressure whatsoever. The leading edge technology used to close the deal and sign the "paperwork" was really cool.

I negotiated with other dealers on the phone what at the dealership to give them one final shot at winning my business and Gwinnett Place Honda left me alone to make my calls and in the end provided the best deal in the area. We were driving the car off of the lot within 2 hours of making the decision. These guys are great! Highly recommend Rick Hendrick for any new car buying experience!

This could have been a 1 or 2 star review.
The process certainly wasn't without its issues; and while the issues were not major, they were quite disheartening given that I had done extensive research as a first time buyer and one of the key factors that I considered was dealer rating and reputation.
One issue was that the agreed upon price wasn't the price in contract, which I missed initially because my attention was being brought to the total amount financed so I overlooked that line item since it should have clearly been what we agreed to on paper. It was only marginally off the agreed upon price, but the larger issue was the failure to properly address the matter and own the discrepancy and ensure I had clarity with everything else in the paperwork. Instead just basically a lot of shrugs, blank stares and "oh wells". Didn't necessarily expect anything to be done about it except appropriate acknowledgement and clarity; instead they just came off as "we made the sale, we can stop caring now". Disappointing.
The day after the purchase I was to pick up the car, which was pending inspection and detailing. I live over an hour away and work 45 minutes away. I told them I didn't want anything rushed so if I had to wait another day, that would be fine. They assured me I could pick the car up. I did, and within less than 24 hours, the battery died. Again, extremely disheartening, not to mention a major inconvenience to be told to come back on a Saturday, taking the time out of my day, expending gas, and putting over 100 unnecessary miles on a car that was just purchased. Without detailing the whole scenario, I spoke to and worked with Curtis regarding the issue. He saw that everything was handled and made sure that my overall experience ended on a positive note. Didn't have a 5 star experience, but all things considered I would purchase from again.

It was great service as always from the service staff. They even worked with me, to get a loaner so I could drop my car off earlier than the rental department opens.
My only complaint is how expensive things are to fix. Not sure that's really Honda's issue or just an issue in general but I am pleased with the work, customer service and promptness

We came to the dealer last Sunday looking for a car for my in-laws. We found exactly the right car for the right price but best of all our sales person Mr Jim Anderson. From the get go a very professional and helpful person. He took the time to explain everything and listened to all our requirements on budget and style we wanted. Needless to say we bought a perfect vehicle that day. The next day I inquired about another vehicle this time Shon took care of me, another professional who did everything he could to get me the deal I wanted. Between him and Jim made sure I could get the car I wanted and for the right price too.Im EXTREMELY happy with my purchase. I definitely recommend this guys and Dealer . Its so nice to see people who want to do business the right way. Honesty and kindness to customer 100%. My next cars are from these guys for sure.

Purchasing my first car from this delearship at the age of 25 was truly a blessing back in December! However, every since I purchased my 2015 Nissan rouge I ve had the most issues with a car ! My truck needed a new battery within 6 months which isn t accurate when a battery is supposed to last for five years !

Also they removed after market wires from my truck after placing the battery in my car! Five hours of waiting at the car dealership and finally leaving to go home my truck completely cuts off and says headlight system error this is completely sickening i live 45 minutes away from this location ....

Return the next day they recommend me to take it to Nissan because they don t have the computers to read the codes on the truck which completely pissed me off...

I will never come here again....

We were so frustrated when we walked in since we had no experience buying a car with our own names, but after meeting Mr. Kim, he took the matter as if it was his own matter and worked it our for us. From the moment of our first contact after our accident we have been blown away by Matt Paolini! He was so nice and really upfront about the plan for our repairs. He had a great attitude and really listened to us. He was so personable but even more than that...we felt that he had things completely under control. Honestly, he made us feel that we were his most important clients. He did what he said he would do...when he said he would do it. If it was a phone call or email, he kept his word and worked hard to keep is informed. I can't remember the last time my expectations were exceeded. Thank you!

From start to finish my buying experience at Gwinnett Place Honda was outstanding and completely hassle free. Danny Moon was completely up front about everything during our interaction and helped me out a ton! You could truly tell he was genuine and more concerned about having a satisfied customer that left the lot happy about their purchase than he was about making another sale. With all of the great stuff they have going it just adds to the entire experience that I left with a new 2015 Honda Accord that I am in love with and can't say enough about. Thank you guys so much!

Over charged options and took my Honda owner rebate $750 with a new car purchase. Broke the overpaid option installation schedule and had to come back multiple times to pick the parts up for self installation. A wrong part delivered and some still back ordered. I insisted the parts were crucial to my business before my car trade in. However, they said sales team has nothing to do with parts and service teams. I have no confidence on their communication. One of the sales manager told me that the Honda honor rebate (for the current Honda owner) is for their profit and their luck if customers are qualify for the rebate. That's how they offer a big(?) discount to ALL customers. If a customer owns a Honda, they are making extra money by filing and collecting rebate from Honda as their profit. Is this Honda loyalty program really mean? I asked for it to use it as a downpayment per Honda Website specified, but I was told it has been already used. Sales person and his manager were nice to us, but everyone else... you got one star.

I came to Gwinnett Place Honda in search for a new car to replace my 2008 CR-V. I was greeted by Stanley Chen who gladly showed me the different cars on the lot. I have not made a decision yet because I am torn between the Accord and the new CR-V. Usually at car dealerships, the salesmen have been angry because of "wasted time" from looking at cars and not choosing one on the spot but Stanley was professional and understanding about me needing more time to decide which car I want. I recommend him to everybody.

It s rare to come across someone with respect and honor. (People like Matt are far and few ) In this crazy world, we are always with our guards up.
Matt Paolini is that person you rarely fine. He s honest, prompt and respectful. Maybe, in his line of work, he knows that people are already in distress and don t need any more hassling. And, most of us are already living paycheck to paycheck and don t need to be scammed.
When I called in to Hendrick Collision Center, my focus was to get a quote. Matt was so professional and treated me as his client and not the insurance company. He even booked my car rental reservation. Kept me up-to-date with the repairs. He always addresses me as Sir even though he and I have not even met. My experience with Matt (Hendrick Collision Center) was great.
Maybe he s just a good person period and understand the little people . We need more people like Matt in this world.

I walked into the dealership expecting an all out war, but i was totally wrong. I've heard from friends what a nightmare buying a car can be, but that wasn't the case for me. As soon as i walked toward the front door, my salesperson Joseph Shin greeted me. He was very courteous and polite, and did not pressure me at all. He explained the whole car buying process to me so that i would know what to expect. Joseph, showed me features on my 2014 Pilot that i had no idea that even existed.

I was pleasantly surprised by my car buying experience at Gwinnett Place Honda and my salesperson. I have no doubt that next time i need to purchase a car, that this is the dealership and salesperson that i want to do business with.

Great dealership, very professional the sales people are not so pushy to the point where they make you feel uncomfortable when your buying a car and they are not just telling you what you want to hear! They made my first car buying experience very simple and easy also very fast. My credit was in very bad condition but they were able to get me financing in the exact car that I actually went there to purchase with a good interest rate... Also the service department is great and they always make sure they take good care of the customers. I honestly have zero complaints and I am very glad that I chose Gwinnett place Honda!

This review is long overdue, but I could not go without leaving one.

My three friends and I visited Gwinnett Place Honda on April 27th in search for a Pre-Certified Honda Civic. I was met with a great Sales Representative by the name of Eric Driver. It was by far one of the greatest customer service interactions I ve ever had! He located the vehicle I was in search of on the lot, then proceeded to tell me information about the vehicle. He didn t try to oversell me with any flashy unnecessary details about the car. A majority of the things he stated about the car I already knew since I researched it prior to coming. Therefore, I knew he wasn t trying to bamboozle me.

After giving us a full run through of the car, he then offered to see if there were any newer models of the exact car that would fit my price range. Since I planned to visit other vehicles in the area, I told him I would return. After visiting other dealerships in the area, I realized that the original vehicle Eric showed me was the best fit for me. We then returned to the dealership to finalize the purchase. When Eric drove the car to the front of the dealership so that I could pick it up, I noticed a few smudges on the car. I pointed them out to him and he personally wiped them off for me! This is an example of the type of customer service he had. He was very polite, made appropriately funny jokes, and broke the awkward tension of the dealership.

It has been about 2 months since I've had the 2019 Honda Civic LX. The car runs perfectly. Only thing I would complain about is the AC. The air doesn t blow as cool, even when on the highest setting. Everything else is pretty great. I just wanted to make sure I shout out Eric Driver because he made my experience worthwhile!

Where do I begin? I suppose I will begin with when I walked through the front door. I was immediately greeted with a warm welcome by the receptionist. I didn't speak with a sales rep prior to my arrival, therefore I was appointed to Mr. Lorenzo. He was patient and very knowledgeable. He had me in the car I wanted for a test drive in very little time. Even money negotiation was enjoyable with Mr. Lorenzo!!! We struck a deal and I was sent along to my finance specialist Chad, aka Chad the Rad! Chad knew the numbers and knew the best route for me. I have a great vehicle now!!! Going from a VW GTI to a Civic SI was such a great switch. Thanks to all the wonderful people at Gwinnett Place Honda for making it happen!!!

I took my 09 Accord because my airbag light came on. At first the issue couldn't be resolved, however after speaking with a Service Manager (K.C.) and understanding my concerns, he was able to completely resolve all matters. I was impressed with his professionalism and he kept his word. He has definitely earned my business for as long as I own a Honda.

**UPDATE: My 2012 Honda Insight was burning oil, and Luis Escobar was so incredibly helpful during the entire process. The first step was to change the oil, then wait 1,000 miles and come in for an oil consumption test. I told my car was hesitating badly, and popping. Gwinnett Place Honda did the test and showed that my car was burning 2 quarts of oil every 1,000 miles just like the technical service bulletin and numerous complaints revealed. I also showed him the technical service bulletin for the 2012 Honda Insight online. I waited for several hours, but Luis got me off the lot that day with a free rental. After waiting a week, I had my car back with all eight spark plugs replaced, and the rings and pistons in my engine replaced (FREE). I was also told that Honda extended the powertrain warranty for these cars because of this issue. Thank you Gwinnett Place Honda for excellent service for repairing my car and giving me a rental at NO cost to me at all! To all others with this issue, good luck!! Five stars, your staff knows how to gain repeat customers.

**6/29/16 Great experience generally, but my BIGGEST complaint is the wait time. Even when I would schedule an appointment, I still found myself waiting at least TWO hours for an oil change that I scheduled. Off schedule, I ended up waiting around four hours. I docked 2 stars for each visit basically forcing me to drop my plans and wait all day, but otherwise the service is great and everyone is very professional and willing to help.

I am giving 2 stars because if give 1 then my review might not make it. If you like getting your car vandalized while getting your routine service done, then come to Gwinnett Place Honda.

Every time I come here my car is either stained or damaged somehow. Today I went for a simple oil change. when I got my car back, my bumper was scraped and pulled out of place. Also the interior of my car had oil stains (it's cloth so the stains will not come out).

I have been so patient with this people and the only reason I come back is because I live 2 minutes away. But this has been the last time I get my service done at this location. I am raged and tired to say the least. If my car is treated like crap, it makes me wonder how good of a job techs are doing in there.
