I have had service for less than a month and have ...

I have had service for less than a month and have not had consistant service for 2 days straight. I get service one day, next day nothing. Two trouble tickets and still not a call from anyone. I cannot use the wifi on any of our phones. Can't use it for Netflex. This has been a great disappointment. I thought this was going to be a great option since I live out in the country and options are limited. I should have stayed without service. It is more frustrating now when you have internet, but can't use it.

Robert was my tech, he came and installed today, very professional, very curtious an overall great person to have at my home. He assisted me with setting up devices and went over everthing. Great asset to Gtek.

I am paying for a 20 download speed package and it...

I am paying for a 20 download speed package and it is constantly dropping to 3 and 4 on the speeds. I have called Gtek many times and they always have some excuses to why but it's never their stuff. Even when they came out to check the speeds they said it's fine when they tested on their computer so I asked to test on mine because my computer is the one staying at my house. Low and behold my computer still showed low speeds! As for the techs, they try to move times around and dont show up on time. Gtek dont give you what you pay for and expect you to pay for what you're not getting!! I am going to go back to a company that even though they cannot give me download speeds as high as 20 I did receive what i paid for with them unlike gtek.

Had my wifi service get put up today by Javier Cano. He was very freindly, explained everything he was gong to do before he started. He answered every question we had and set up our wifi very quickly and made sure everything worked fine before he left. Thank you so much Javier!

Great customer service and there response time for...

Great customer service and there response time for repairs is quick but Internet is horrible. I've had several Tech come by and they blame there tower and it needing upgrades but nothing is ever done. I pay for 20 down and 5 up but only get 4 down 4 up regularly and signal always cut in and out. So if your a gamer expect disconnects frequently and enjoy youtube at 480-144p. Better than Satellite by far

Technical Nathan came out today to service my internet. To find out our radio was the wrong one that was originally put up by Tech Nick. Nathan did a great job fixing the problem.
When Nick came to my house to install everything last month he did bring up some gossip about another Tech that he worked with. I felt it wasnt needed that he tells me that.
Overall I'm happy with the service I received today and everything is back in order.

I have been having trouble streaming some Netflix, Vudu, and Disney plus shows. I called costumer service today and spoke with Nick. He did a great job explaining every step he was taking and checking my service from his side. He was kind and thorough. He was able to fix the problem and even set up to have someone call me in three days to ensure I am still getting great service. This amazing customer service alone helped to ensure I will remain a loyal customer.

I ve had Gtek several years, before they expanded their network it was decent, but since they upgraded their speeds it seems like the network can t handle the bandwidth. If you are using this service for virtual learning be wary that it has outages that last several hours and happen at least once a week. We pay way to much money for our services to be disrupted as often as they are.(platinum tier customer)

Continued 7-23-2019.......So Josh responded to my concern rather quickly. He promised to resolve the issue and He had Ruben call me this morning. Ruben was able to walk me thru process again and he pin pointed the problem in less than 5 minutes. We figured the previous technician might of missed a step causing the delay in connectivity. I appreciate the quick response and the integrity to fix the issue. I humbly change my previous rating from a 1 star to a 5 star, simply because GTek took accountability and over delivered on this one. Thank you Ruben and thank you Josh. Not many companies take ratings as serious as y all do, and I appreciate you guys.

When I first put in the service, it worked great- now the service is unusable and they refuse to help me, I have been laughed at and I've done everything they asked, they tell me they placed a ticket then I ask for a ticket number and they put me back in que, press 6 and have them call me back and get the same treatment, asked to talk to a supervisor and they tell me no he is to busy to talk to me. What is his name I asked, she laughs and says Alec - I asked her if she was playing with me and she laughs again, and said she just started here. Was told the radio was bad by 1 person, no clue what is wrong by another... They had me on the roof looking for a model on the radio and doing all sorts of crap! Horrible company... The worst I have seen in a long time and will be filing a complaint with the FCC and the city of Portland. 109.00 a month for .73 x .43 service...

Worst company on the market!! I could write pages on how awful these people are but the short version goes like this. They don't care at all about their own employees and how can they care about the customers with all the one star reviews on multiple sites (Facebook, yellow pages, etc. )?? That's right they can't, any and every customer is nothin but a dollar sign to them. Take your chances however, from someone on the inside, the service will NEVER be worth it. If there was a 0 star rating they would have nothing but goose eggs!

Technician had come by and changed the direction of the satellite without us knowing. We started to experience slowing internet speed without no true indication of why. We get capped out even on the "GOLD" plan and was suggested to go up in the plan for better internet service. This wasn't an issue before and now we keep getting dropped service. While the guy on the line was nice, I still wasn't given an actual reason why my service started to run slower after Sept vs before even though it was stated it was turned to a better tower in the area. That's why I gave 3 stars. I'm disappointed that we were not informed about the satellite switch and the lack in communication in that part.
