I called today to get service set up for my mother's house. I spoke with Jeremy and this guy was helpful from the time we began our conversation. I immediately felt as if we had and customer service bind and I hadn't even given him a deposit yet for the appointment. I explained to him that o was currently out of town and would like the installation done upon my return home and without any excuses or explanations, he made it happen. The truth is that HE actually.made me feel comfortable and explained each of the service options G-Tek offers and without trying to sell me what I didnt need he got me on the right plan and explained that if I need more speed to call them back and they can set that up. We are newly weds and never had to purchase internet. We just recently purchased internet through Gtek and couldn't be happier. We live far from the city so it is SO hard to find a good internet provider that is unlimited, fast, and affordable. Typically you can find unlimited and fast, just no affordable. However, Gtek is all three. We have streamed movies non-stop since we got the WiFi & it hasn't lagged or slowed down and even better we have not had to wait for it to buffer! Couldn't ask for better.

I have used GTek for 8 years for my residential and business needs. They have always gone above and beyond in their customer service and in ensuring that we received the best possible. Justin is amazing and always answers promptly in response to any issues immediately so that we are up and running ASAP with no delay. Even with hurricane Harvey they were able to make sure I had service in record time. Highly recommend and thank you for all you do!

The technicians we very professional. Though ironically after they left the internet went out for a bit. The speed is good for emails and teleconferencing. Will see how streaming is a bit later.

Russell did an amazing job getting our internet service installed and set up. He made sure to give me a call to confirm the install as well as let me know his ETA. During the install he spoke with and showed me what he would be doing to help get us the best signal possible. The weather was not ideal since it was cool and rainy but he did not let that stop him. He was very courteous and took his shoes off at the door as not to track mud and much through our house. It was a great install experience.

This is a sorry excuse for a communication service provider....The first week of February , I called and set up a new installation. Told I was scheduled for March 1 , I waited patiently , only to be told on March 1 they had no installation scheduled.

Not a very good internet company. Internet isn t fast enough especially for the price. A lot of times the internet goes down, loses connection, etc.

Fast, knowledgeable, and courteous service! Marcus fixed our issue quickly and also made recommendations for additional improvements that can be made to improve our internet speed - all considered normal update of equipment - so no cost to us.

Javier Cano was the tech that tested and located the problem in my system. a grounding junction box was mounted in "an exposed to rain" location. he eliminated the box ran fresh cable from dish to router and my performance improved greatly. i really appreciate him going after the origin of the problem to provide a long lasting solution.. very pleasant to talk to explaining what he found and the fix. all of the techs have been great, but Javier gets the blue ribbon..great job and thanks again...jb...

The worst service ever!! I think my Aol dial up in the 90s was faster! We recently upgrated to silver package which still can't hold a steady stream.. And yes.. The only reason i have it is because i have no choice. I used to be with Time Warner payed $50 per month for 100 mps.. Now i pay $80 for 25 mps. Also not to mention if you have an issue. They are only open until 5pm.. When people are working and don't have time to deal with this.

Absolute trash dont spend your time on this stupid company and get any other company for internet. ANYONE OTHER. They say that the tower is not doing good when you get the internet and sign the contract byt say it should be resolved in a week or two. They said you should have 17 mgb upload and 8 download speed but uts more like nothing at all. I play on my ps4 online and its been 3 or 4 days since we got the internet service and my ps4 wont let me load up a game due to having almost no speed whatsoever.

Professional service and very courteous. Marcus works hard to fix our problems. We have had connection problems in the past and he always finds a way to improve our signal strength. Thank you Marcus for all of your help.

My neighbor s tree grew in leaps and bounds this spring obstructing the line of sight, Nathan came and did an outstanding job moving the equipment to improve my signal and met my specifications which were pretty picky. He also completely cleaned up the job site. (But for the moved equipment I couldn t tell anyone had been onsite) The workmanship by Nathan and the follow up calls from Josh instill confidence in this consumer that Gtek is definitely the right choice! Thank you guys!!

Twelve years of outstanding service! Yes, the service went out a few times - and so have the utilities, that's life - my overall experience has been a very positive one.

Robert and Marcos installed Wifi for us. They had to deal with our dogs bugging them the whole time! They were so patient and did a great job explaining the service to us. If I ever need to call for any service again I will be requesting them.

I have the residential internet, and I could not be more pleased with it. I highly recommend it. Nathan did a wonderful job at explaining every thing and did a great job hooking it all up.

We've had so many problems back to back and they were always assuming that it was our router. Well, we bought a new router and still continue to have no connection issues. Till this day there are times that they think its the router or just something on our end. We live in a new home, new subdivision where internet choices are very limited and we pay high amount for low quality service. We're just frustrated with it all and stuck with a contract or have to pay a high fee to terminate.

The internet service is by far the best line of sight internet that you can get for the Rockport and coastal bend area. We all have smart phones, TVs and game systems hooked up. The speed is very good and my daughter is happy with the online gaming. It is a little expensive but you get what you pay for. Customer service was also very excellent. The technician was nice and respectful and explained everything in detail what he was going to do. Very professional. GTek wireless is excellent. Thank you.

Travis the Tech was awesome, came early on a Saturday, hooked up our new service, cleaned up after himself. Knew what he was doing and answered all my questions. Very efficient. Thank you.

We pay for 2 separate routers and not only is the internet spotty and never holds but the speeds we get are incredibly slow, please do not waste your time

Gtek really came through! I called and set up installation with VTX and Ranch Wireless and they didn't even try to see if they could set up service our neighbors across the street have service with them so we were going to go with them as well the installer didnt attempt anything and was on my property for no more than 2 minutes. I called Gtek and they are awesome very professional and informative the installer was great he assured us service and we got it and have not had one problem with reception its fast and affordable. The installer was very respectful and professional. Couldn't ask for a better provider. Thank you Gtek

We've been with GTEK for years. Sometimes the system crashes, but that's what happens with ALL internet providers. GTEK tech service is good. Its employees are courteous and competent.

GTEK has great customer support and speed/connectivity consistency! Our area had very strong winds one day, so I called customer support bc the dish got turned around. The customer support I received was awesome! They scheduled us an appointment the next day. The techs that arrived were profession and fixed the problem quick. Our first choice for the area had the best reviews but had horrible connectivity we constantly were kicked off the internet, and they could not deliver the speeds they promised even when we bought the premium plan. On top of that customer support was hard to get a hold of, and crappy. I have dealt with many internet companies around the area and none come close to the customer satisfaction I felt or the quality internet I get with GTEK! It's a shame GTEK does not have the best rating, I strongly believe they should.

Very poor and unstable internet. I ve had to wait an entire week before a technician to come try to fix my service while trying to work from home. I m firing them as soon as I can find another provider.

Iam very dissapointed on the internet service, I have been without service for two days my kids are behind on their school assignments, I cant work from home at this time not to mention final assignments for college classes are not been done because our service is down. I wish another company could come service my area so that I can just be done with this internet company.

We live in a rural part of town and have had the hardest time finding an internet service where we live we just got connected and im so excited to start using our tv for once! Javier Cano was an awesome technician who was very informative and nice he wasnt scared of our dogs and that really put them to ease and didnt mind our 9 month old scream her head off while he installed and was very professional

We do not care much for this internet service... Very slow and thats with 1 device at a time. Was told to turn off wifi on everything else and unplug what we're not using. Tried that and its still very slow and keeps loading and loading. I dont understand it. They also said the tower is right by our house. Wouldn't recommend this service.

Currently paying 80 dollars for their "Gold package" yet im getting connection speeds so slow its equivalent to my friends connection and he has the the company's "Bronze package" we even did a comparrison to see what our speeds were like. It constantly lags and freezes and boots us from applications and online games. Talk about being robbed of our money and a dishonest company. If you can seek elsewhere for an internet/ wifi provider otherwise be prepared to be charged for one product and given another. What a joke this company is. Its a shame I actually had to give 1 star in order to write a review because they honestly deserve a ZERO

Skylar was our technician that came out to install at a second location for us. He refused to drill a hole in the side of our RV and found every way possible to still make it work. He was very professional and showed all the speeds we were going to be getting. He made sure everything was working before he left so thanks Gtek for still providing us with great service.

Worst service ever! I hate that I had to even give them a star! And they stay that way because they can. There is no other providers in this area. I get to call them once a week so they can fix it. I LOOOOVE wasting an hour out of every week, EVERY WEEK. Can t think of anything better. They should at this point be paying me. Anyway, the fix last about two days then it s time to call them again. So if you love having intermittent internet service and paying what cable cost these are your guys!
