My sisters and I found Indus Tours on Google. WE are all soo very pleased with the services we received while on the Amazing Dubai and Abu Dhabi Tour. Indus Tours were waiting for us at airport. Their guides were always on time and always waiting for us on trips. We got a complimentary free upgrade from a one room with three beds to a 4 bedroom king suite...with full kitchen, living and dining room. We all had our own bedrooms with ensuite washrooms at the Sheraton Grand hotel in Dubai. The amenities were excellent with buffet delicious breakfast. One day we missed a trip on the Dhow dinner cruise along the Dubai creek, totally our fault. Nevertheless, Tour Guide Baher from Dakkak Tours replaced it with another stunning dinner cruise in Abu Dhabi. This cruise was sponsored by Hilton Hotel. Thanks so very much again to Sabine Blaske who sold us this truly amazing tour. We got a lot more than what we paid. ..even if we did not receive upgrades. The price you pay is so little for what we got. I would definitely use them again and strongly recommend them for future travels. We travel globally and am sorry we did not know about them before our past tours.

I had used Indus last year for the South of India and I chose Indus this year (2017) for Nepal, India and UAE. Wonderful trips!!! Exciting, well planned, great learning experiences. The staff of their local operators in all three countries were amazingly professional and all became friends.
We felt well supported and protected. Thank you Indus!!!!!

We recently returned from Ecuador/Galapagos/Peru 13 day tour. It exceeded our expectations. Guides were personable and knowledgeable. Tours were well organized and meals provided were generous and delicious. Tour group was small and guides were well versed in English. Would highly recommend this particular tour! Looking forward to booking another tour with Indus!

I did the Dubai/Abu Dhabi trip in October 2018. I was shocked that all was seamless. The choice of hotels were top notch. Our travel rep in Dubai/Abu Dhabi was so knowledgeable and helfpul. Really, nothing negative to say. Only comment but this is more of a personal preference, I would have rathered spent the entire time in Dubai with a 1 day excursion to Abu Dhabe as opposed to splitting it up as there is more to do in Dubai. I was impressed as were my travel buddies.

We have now taken 2 tours with INDUS Travels, Best of South Africa in the fall of 2017 and we just returned from Highlights of Ecuador & Peru. We give INDUS two thumbs up for both tours. Highlights of Ecuador & Peru included fantastic tours, many memorable restaurants and hotels. The tour staff INDUS employed was knowledgeable and professional. Thank you INDUS for a job well done!

I took the Marvelous Argentina tour and received a private tour guide for my entire trip. Everyone was extremely professional and helpful during our tour. I would definitely recommend Indus for any travel booking around the world. They chose excellent, top of the line hotels in Buenos Aires and Iguazu Falls. Overall, the best travel experience I've ever had!

I just came back from Best of Bali trip. We really enjoyed it the only problem we had was that when I booked the tour for Sunset and Monkey Forest Indus said it is whole day trip but I only received half day. I was just disappointed that Indus charged me for full day. After I came back I sent them an email but did not get any response back. Also, we had lot of problem with the fights. On our beginning of the trip when we reached the Airport at 4:00 as out flight was schedule for 7:00AM, when I got to the check in counter I was told that we were bumped up to 12:00 flight. I was so upset as we did not had full sleep the night before and had to wait all this time at the Airport. Also coming back, from Vancouver the flight was cancelled due to some issue the plane. All the passengers were put on Air Canada flight by WestJet except us when we ask why we are not put on the Air Canada plane as I have work in the morning I was told the because Indus booked our flight they are not allowed by the system to accommodate us and we should contact our travel agent. We waited at the Vancouver airport almost 11 hours before we were put on standby seats. I was so disappointed by all this. I think Indus should improve on the fights as the layovers are so long too.

6 of us booked a 3 week flight and hotel to the Algarve Portugal in Sept 2017. The trip was taking place March 2018. They were quick to take our money and then nothing. No returned calls or emails . No information about flights. No communication at all. 3 weeks before our scheduled departure we found out the person we originally received our Hotel confirmation from wasn't even working at the company. What an ordeal!!
Just to make matters worse, two others were charged for baggage and then we're bumped on the flight home. Due to an overbooked flight. Never again

If I could give them negative stars I would. From ...

If I could give them negative stars I would. From start to finish, working with Indus Travels was and has been a nightmare. Joe the gentleman I worked with had terrible customer service and terrible timing in responding to my calls and emails. It took him 3 months to finally give me an answer to my question. I would call and email and if he did answer he would completely forget we discussed this and he would be getting me an answer. we would have the conversation over again and when I would follow up again he would just say oh yeah we are still working on it. Terrible service!!!! Secondly I had a terrible experience with one of their partners in Peru - Viajes Pacifico that charted my Rainbow mountain tour. It was beyond a night mare - 1. Itinerary does not state to wear snow gear and tour guides on day one and day before the excursion all said to wear a light jacket. No one mentioned the mountain would be covered in ice and snow. I did not appreciate this lack of information

2. We were to depart at 3am but tour guide shows up at 3:15-3:20 - this was an inconvenience as we were told to be ready at 3am.

3. My biggest concern is that after a 3 hour drive we get to the mountain and attempt to get up the mountain. The roads were covered in Ice causing us to slip and slide on the road on 3 separate occasions. This was absolutely unacceptable as it put all our lives in danger. My sister and I both requested to the tour Guide and driver that since the roads are covered in ice we do not feel comfortable continuing to attempt to get up the road. We were told it s fine we can make it up no worries. The tour guide kept getting out of the car to go push it up the mountain.

4. Continuing up the mountain we slipped again and this time slipped into a ditch. A local found us and called for help and that is when they came down to help push the car out of the ditch and up the mountain. The roads were so icy even the locals were slipping and I have this captured in one of the photos attached. We were so scared and extremely uncomfortable we jumped out of the car as they attempted to get it out of the ditch.

5. It took us a total of 5 hours to make it to the top of the mountain. Once we got there it was snowing and raining and the tour guide said it s impossible for us to see the rainbow mountain. We waited in the car for about 45 more minutes waiting for the sun to come out. After waiting we got out and walked about 30 minutes before turning back and heading to the car. The mountain was covered in ice and it was impossible to hike especially without the proper shoes. The tour guide said to us did my company not call you and tell you to wear snow gear? I told him know no one told us conditons will be like this. All we were told was to bring a light jacket and sunscreen and to wear a one or two layers since it will get hot later in the tour. I asked two tour guides in advance and both said the exact same thing and one actually told me the weather is just like at Machu Picchu.

6. We left and headed back to Cusco. Our tour guide had an errand to run so he left us with the driver to take us to our hotel. The driver did not take us to our hotel, he dropped us off somewhere about 6 blocks from where our actual hotel was. Said he couldn t get around the traffic and it was best for us to walk. This is absolutely unacceptable. It took my sister and I another hour to walk back to our hotel.

After that incident I reached out to Indus to discuss and ask for a refund. I have been working with Tordes at Indus travels since June regarding this matter and conclusion both parties do not see they need to offer me a refund for my troubles and the endangerment of my life that day. We have gone back and forth so many times, and no refund. Worst two companies to do business with, worst customer service and overall they are a joke. Please if you value your life and your hard earned money, do not work with these two for your next trip.

We had a wonderful holiday in Israel!
The tour was terrific, and we enjoyed the company of the others in our group, as well as our tour guide, Chaim. The accommodation was great and so was the food! We felt very safe. Everything went smoothly, and we look forward to going back someday perhaps to Haifa or Eilat!
Thank you for making the arrangements, and we are very happy to recommend you and Indus to our friends and acquaintances.

Last September 14, we returned from a nine day trip to India with Indus Travel. I must tell you that it surpassed all my expectations and was indeed the trip of a lifetime. Every detail was perfect. We were met promptly at the airport and taken to our hotel by our guide who we soon discovered was a well educated, knowledgeable, organized, caring and very competent young man. With him we felt entirely safe at all times. He was always ready to answer our questions whether historical, religious or cultural. The hotels were all very clean, comfortable and beautiful, the dinners and breakfasts excellent, the bus clean and cool with a very good driver and assistant who kept us well supplied with water. The tour itself was highly interesting and varied. There was something for everyone. We took part in the optional tours as well and enjoyed every experience. The rickshaw ride in Delhi, the Sikh soup kitchen, Mother Teresa's orphanage, the Taj Mahal and the elephant village all stood out. It was also a lovely experience to stay for one night in the Raj of Bharatpur's palace! Even our flights with Etihad Airlines were excellent. Nothing was missing, will definitely travel with Indus Travel again!

This company ripped me off. We went to India on a guided tour and my credit card had a lot of fradulent charges. The credit card that I used in only one store was used again and again in all the other stores I went. The carpet I boughtfrom Jaipur handicrafts was very thin and not the same quality. Padam Singh said that he was a supplier to ABC carpets of NY, but he is not. The guide probably also is a part of this loot. This is a fraudulent company and ripped me off.The guide was Ved Singh/Prakash who was the mastermind of all the deceit.

I was a little concerned about booking a 'full guided' tour trip. I hated the thought of being at someone else's schedule for whatever they decided to do or see. BUT I was VERY pleasantly surprised with our Indus Tour of Peru - we were able to pick out what day trips we wanted, opt out of what we weren't interested in and enjoyed every minute of having all the places and times and travel arrangements taken care of. Truly a First Class VIP feeling!! Already in touch with Indus for our next trip!!

We went on the small group tour to South Africa. Everything about the actual tour was outstanding. The hotels, flights, torus, etc met or exceeded our expectations.
Our only frustration was dealing with the Indus Travel offices before the tour (time between booking & actual tour). The communication was very poor, questions went unanswered and updates were lacking. They could really improve in this area.

Used them for trip to Peru, never again. They booked us on a 7 hour layover in Elsalvador when there was a much quicker connection available and I was with my 79 yr old mom and 80 yr old Aunt, they obviously had their ages beforehand and it's unacceptable regardless but this makes it worse. They just try to save money anyway they can so it looks like you're getting a good deal but be warned, check flight info before booking which I'm guessing they conveniently won't be able to give you. Good luck!!!

My husband and I returned a couple of weeks ago from the South Africa/Dubai tour with Indus Travel from April 24-May 6, 2019. I can't say enough about Indus Travel and this tour!! We experienced everything that was outlined in the itinerary on their website and our tour guide Adele was the absolute best. She was so informative, organized, so much fun and on top of every detail. We got to experience so many amazing things throughout the 13 day trip. From our safari in Kruger (which was so amazing) to the wine tour in Stellenbosch and the various city tours in South Africa etc. Dubai is a whole different world. Absolutely fascinating! The Desert Sundowner safari was so much fun where we rode the sand dunes in a 4X4 and the camel ride was lots of fun too. Our accommodations and the food was superb throughout the whole trip and transportation was top notch. This was certainly our trip of a life time, thanks to Indus Travel.

We would highly recommend this well organized tour through Indus Travel. And the price is very reasonable compared to other tour companies as well.

My wife and I just returned from an 10 day Portugal Highlights tour. It was amazing. Very well organized. We can hardly believe how much we saw and yet still had some free time to enjoy at leisure. The accommodations were first class and everyone we encountered were exceptional in service delivery. Our tour guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable and full of facts and stories of people and places we visited. She definitely added to the experience. We would not hesitate to travel with Indus again.

Recently returned from our Indus Travels Classic Kenya Safari tour and it was a great adventure, we did everything and more that was listed in the itinerary. The safari roads were at times very rough but what we saw and experienced eliminated that part in our memory. Take the Hot Air Balloon excursion, it was fantastic. The only one of the Big 5 that we did not see was the elusive Cougar but we saw so many animals that we did not expect to see. What a Safari Tour.

Terrible service. We went on the Ecuador/Galapagos trip in Aug 2017. Our departing flights were not confirmed until hours before the trip. Our return flights were not confirmed with the airline so we did NOT have return flights home. There was no help given to us from the Ecuadorian contact number other than work it out with the airline . When we called Indus the next day we were told to try and work it out ourselves. We finally got them to book us a new flight home via multiple airports. When we arrived back home I contacted them. They indicated that they would contact me to discuss our situation. They NEVER called!

We have travelled all over the world. Never have we experienced such terrible service.

While I was always on the look out for any good tr...

While I was always on the look out for any good travel deal, I found Indus Galapagos Tour on Travel Zoo s top 20 deals. Mom and I flirted with the idea on and off for a few years, then 2018 we whole-heartedly investigated and compared companies. Indus seemed to offer an extensive package for a reasonable price. Fortunately we had flexible dates and were able to pick a package that worked well for us, Highlights of Ecuador and Peru in 2019.
While we didn t have any big expectations of this company or trip, we were absolutely BLOWN-AWAY with everything the trip included. The amenities were always top notch, the food choices always exceptional, the Guides were always OUTSTANDING, especially Jimmy in the Galapagos he always went ABOVE & BEYOND passionately and proudly sharing his culture with us. The transportation and included tours were extensive and fulfilling. Mom and I could not believe how much ground we covered, how much culture and territory we were able to take in in two and a half weeks for the price we paid. There was never a dull moment, and if there were a few hours of downtime, we were in the right location to enjoy the moment. Whether that was in Quito or Cusco perusing the open markets, admiring the wildlife in the Galapagos or strolling the property of the old Monastery in the Sacred Valley there was always an amazing adventure at our fingertips.
The bonus of Indus was the small group setting. Each adventure had a truly intimate feel that was very comfortable and welcoming.
The only recommendation I would have to any traveler considering Indus would be to ask for more information about their optional tours. Initially, we didn t consider many optional tours because the literature descriptions didn t grab us. However, once were heard the descriptions first hand from our guides, we did add a few tours while on our trip.

Mom, now 72 and me, 45, we are no slouches when it comes to travel. We have each visited countless countries and cultures and used several different tour companies, self-guided independent trips and different travel modalities. Since our trip to South America was utterly exceptional, mom decided she was ready to tackle her next big adventure South Africa. Based on our first impressive experience with Indus, we looked at them once again to provide our safari and wine country experience coming in May 2020. We have booked our trip and will report back after our excursion.

Less than a month ago, we were 4-family members of a small group of 14 that greatly enjoyed a 10-day tour of North India, sponsored by Indus Travel. The tour encompassed Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore and Jaipur. From the inception, certain commitments of Indus Travel were very obvious: (1) They were always there to respond and help with our concerns and questions; (2) It was obvious that the sites chosen were well considered, and (3) Due diligence was put into the scheduling and execution of the tour to meet their obligations to their clients.
The tour was completed to our total satisfaction. It was a very emotional, memorable and enjoyable trip. There were no problems: The hotel accommodation was great; the meals provided were high-quality; we were even treated to a much-appreciated social evening; the guide, bus driver and helper for our internal travels in India were all very punctual, as per schedule; courteous and helpful. Our guide was very much interested in ensuring that we were treated to India to as much as possible and was very knowledgeable of the local histories, customs and mores. He was at all times prepared to answer all questions and satisfy everyones' needs, suggesting additional sites of great interests. A great deal was accomplished in a very short time, thanks to the planning and execution of Indus Travel. It was a pleasure travelling with them.

We just got back from a trip to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The whole trip was amazing and set up by Monica Kanez of Indus Travel (Canada).
The Sheraton Grand was excellent and in a very good location. It was easily walkable to the Metro station (5 min). It's a beautiful modern hotel. The most amazing breakfast buffet that had everything you can imagine. We saw so much and learned so much about the culture in United Arab Emirates. The safari trip was so much fun, as was the camel ride and the BBQ was delicious. Going up the world's tallest building was something we won't forget too.The guide we had was superb. His name was Bahar (not sure of the spelling). Having him made our trip most enjoyable. He gave us choices during the tours to see what we all wanted to do and was well educated on the sights we visited. All in all, our group had a lot of laughs and a most memorable trip. Looking forward to traveling with Indus Travel again in the future.More

Absolutely Superb! There were 6 of us traveling from the United States to South Africa (Johnausburg) and the minute we landed after a very long flight Indus reps met us at the airport, grabbed out luggage and took us to our hotel. From that moment forward, everything was beyond our expectations. The transportation provided in each city, the tours in each city, and most importantly, the hotels and the guides were simply just awesome. No one ever felt tired or in need of anything. I travel extensively, and this is one of my top tours so far! Great job Indus!

We booked a trip to Croatia through Indus Travel that was a 3 day land package and 7 days on a small ship travelling to the Dalmation Islands. The hotel accomendations were very good. We did have a problem arriving in Croatia as our plane from New York was delayed causing us to miss our connection in Paris. We did arrive at our hotel about 6 hours later. The tour company pickedus up at the airport and took us to our hotel where the tour guide greeted us and gave us our information and they also had a meat & cheese platter in our room as we missed dinner. Th land package was great and the island package was well laid out and quite informative. We did contact Indus about the plane and they had contacted the tour guide in Zagreb.

I just returned from the Indus Travel Super South Africa tour and I cannot express in words how wonderful the experience was for me. I can truly say that thanks to Indus, it was the best vacation ever. From the moment I landed in South Africa Indus exceeded all of my expectations then some. Egypt and Dubai trip review May 2018

Egypt and Dubai trip review May 2018
First of all, Indus travel arrangement is fantastic. Monica Kanez, the inside sales person did an excellent job help to juggle my flight arrangement months in advance so that I can make the best out of my trip. She always answer my questions in time because this was our first trip to Egypt.
As for the tour, the 5 days river cruise down the river Nile, the guided tour and the hot air balloon tour were beyond my expectation. It is comparable to the Viking tour I had on Rhine river Germany. Good food and service, nice cabins, and very friendly guide. And the pace of the tour is right.
The visit to the Pyramid and camel ride is well plan. All in all, the Egypt tour was excellent, I would recommend person to go with Indus travel.
We also took a side trip to Dubai, the guide is not as professional, but OK. But the Dubai trip was not exciting after all.

Booked a trip to Greece through this company. Would never use them or the company they used in Greece. Trip of a lifetime ruined by scammers. Hotels booked in advance of trip were changed to crappier hotels on arrival. It was called an upgrade. There is a lot more but rather than dwell on the many disappointments our group made the best of a bad situation. The people we met were great. The places we visited were beautiful. To bad some people put profit ahead of satisfying customers.

Really enjoyed our Best of Thailand tour. Loved our hotels in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Phuket. We did some great food tours - especially Bangkok's Chinatown and Phuket's Sunday Walking Market in Old Town, cooking classes - The Blue Elephant and Baipai Thai Cooking Schools in Bangkok and Chiang Mai Cookery School and ate at fabulous restaurants including Michelin-starred David's Kitchen, The Gallery and Time in Chiang Mai. Finishing with a few lazy days on the beach in Phuket was the icing on the cake.

I have taken many organized tours and this was the first time that the company really dropped the ball. I purchased a tour to Croatia from them (biking and sailing) and had several small complaints (e.g. was charged the full fee for a double room, but ended up with a much smaller room as a single than any of the double rooms on the boat.), but the central problem was that they misled me: I was told that I would be part of a group with a paid group leader that would organize the daily rides, etc. As I found out half-way through the trip, there was NO GUIDE for me, but instead, another guide from another tour (Tema Travel from Sweden) agreed, out of the goodness of his heart, to take me on as an extra for no pay to him. On the very last day of the cruise, the woman who was my "organizer" stopped by (I had never met her previously) to check on my transportation by to the airport in Dubrovnik. When I complained to her about how there was no group for me (even tho I chose this particular week to go on the cruise specifically because I was told the group was nearly full), but that I had been "adopted" by another unrelated tour group who was not paid, she suggested I give the guide an extra-large tip (which I did because none of this was his doing), but I thought that was totally inappropriate. When I returned to the states, I contacted Indus who said that they would check into what happened, but I never heard another thing. So my recommendation is to be very wary of this tour company: they contract with other companies to sell tours that they know little about and have really nothing to do with. I ended up being lucky and joined a great group, but I have no idea what would have occurred if the guide had not been so kind as to include me (and spend extra time explaining everything in English to me that he had told the group in Swedish!). The could have at least offered to reimburse me for the "extra-large tip," but they did nothing.

We went to Ireland with Indus Travels, my granddaughter and I both enjoyed every minute of it. The trip was wonderful. The driver was amazing and everything Indus organised for us went as planned, including the dinner which we loved. I will indeed use your agency again when next I travel for pleasure. Thanks for your work.

We are just back from the most amazing trip to Egypt through Indus Travel. We were met at the airport and taken to the hotel (our room had the pyramids as a view) and immediately out on our first tour. The whole trip was the same and we were fortunate enough to see and experience most of the highlights. It most certainly wasn't a trip to sleep or rest, but we knew that going in and are so thrilled to have been able to see and do as much as we did. Thank you Indus for making it affordable for us to see and experience more of the world.

Indus Travel organized our trip to South Africa: C...

Indus Travel organized our trip to South Africa: Cape Town, Kapse Story Telling and Dinner, Flight to Johannesburg, and road trips to Pilanesburg National Park and back. The Hotel accommodations in Cape Town, Pilanesburg, and Johannesburg were excellent. There were a total of 4 safari trips, morning and evening, each of 4-hour duration. The staff at the Hotels, The Safari Guide and Van Operator are polite and courteous. The most convenient thing was the pick up rides from the airports to the Hotels and back. Anyone craving for a visit to Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Pilanesburg National Park and the Safari Tours, we recommend that you consider seriously the choice of Indus Travel. Our group was a total of 14 people, small enough to interact and big enough to meet people from various parts of USA.

DO NOT BOOK WITH INDUS TRAVEL! We did the Hong Kong Vietnam Tour and along with our fellow travelers were hugely disappointed. Hotels were poorly located and 3-star at best. If your expectations are end-to end mediocrity you may possibly be satisfied. Their customer service is non-existent. The tour itself was below par inclusive of endless travel days to destinations of zero interest, i.e., Hoi An. Why Not Danang or Hue? We paid 3/4 of the cost over 8-months in advance even though we were supposed to pay only half due to a "computer glitch." We accepted their excuse.

Because we were adding a week we waited until 4-weeks before travel to get travel costs for a one-week add-on. Their price for the air fare was the same as what we could book for at the time and we agreed to "keep it simple" and let them book for us at a premium. Huge mistake. My wife took ill, we had to return early, it was a weekend so we could not contact Indus to change the tickets. We expected to take a hit on some form of credit, since the fare was the same as we could book ourselves. We expected to see some form of credit even as re-useable ticket, no luck there just a big go....yourself.

An end-to-end disappointment

I registered for a tour and the agent who took my booking didn't even bother to tell me it was cancelled. I only found out when I repeatedly had to call and email her. We from our fantastic Indus arranged 10 day trip to Cape Town and up to Piliansburg at Ivory tree. The Harbor House was good and all the staff welcoming and helpful. One of the staff went to a store and got bubble wrap for us to take our wine purchases home with us! He volunteered to do that.
The tours were very well organized and our guide, was fantastic.
The Ivory Tree Lodge was a welcome treat. The chalet was nicely appointed with wonderful mountain views . We could sit on our beds and see elephants and zebras grazing. The usual spiders were present but I knew we would encounter them. We saw 4 of the Big 5------no water buffalo. Our guide, was top notch in every way.
The Emporers Palace complex in Johannesburg was very nice end to our trip.
Thank you for offering such a wonderful, affordable and very well planned trip to South Africa! I will certainly be booking with you at Indus again!

We did the Essential Vietnam, Cambodia, and Bangkok tour and it was amazing! We made our booking with Joseph Homem at Indus Travels and he did an outstanding job making us feel like valued customers and ensuring we had the best travel experience. He was even able to accommodate our requests to add extra stops on our tour. With new COVID19 travel restrictions impacting our flights at very little notice, Joseph worked hard with his flights team to get our flights rescheduled and rerouted promptly so our vacation was not interrupted. His team also worked tirelessly with Korean Air and Air China to ensure we got refunded for our original booked flights. This was outstanding customer service by Joseph and his team at Indus Travels! Thank you

We recently returned from Indus' Taste of Portugal tour. We had a fantastic trip and everything went as planned. Our tour guide Sophia from Lusanova, the local travel agency in Lisbon, was one of the best guides we have ever had. We had 5 wonderful days of touring and plenty of free time in 8 cities. The hotels and included breakfasts were top notch. The sites we were taken to were on the lists of top places to visit. The transport to and from the airport were problem free. This was the perfect tour for us and we heartily recommend Indus Travel!! This was our third Indus trip and we are anxious to book a fourth Indus package. Thank you Indus for giving us so much travel JOY!

It is with a great deal of gratitude that I write this review today. Our family has just returned from our fantastic journey through Ireland and I wanted to let you know what a wonderful experience we had! This was our first trip that we ever booked as a tour through an agency. Usually we book our own travel and take a self guided journey. With a trip to Ireland we knew that we would need some expert help in order to get the most out of our travel and we are so pleased we did. Our adventure, from beginning to end, was extraordinary. From our first pick up at the Dublin airport until our drop off, everything was perfect. It is important to me that you know how much we appreciate all that was done for us.

We went on the Classical Turkey tour with Indus on Apr 4 to 14, 2019. The trip was fantastic!! Indus was basically the middle man that connected us to Global Travel Services in Turkey. Indus provided us with the airplane tickets but in Turkey GTS took over everything. From landing in turkey to departing, everything was amazing! 5 star hotels, amazing tour guide, very comfortable tour bus, great itinerary. The only issue I had was that we did not stop in salt lake and the hot air balloon ride was 20 people but we were promised 12ppl max. Overall, Indus has great communication and the Classical Turkey trip was amazing! Definitely recommended it to my family and friends.

My husband and I recently returned home from The B...

My husband and I recently returned home from The Best of North and South India (plus Mumbai extension) through Indus Travel, and had a fantastic trip! Our tour was truthfully made perfect due to our tour guide in the North of India, Atul Godha. It will be hard to ever have a tour guide as wonderful as him! Atul was extremely professional, knowledgeable and organized - we always felt so comfortable and well-informed. We wish we could have had Atul with us for the entire trip!!

The itinerary which Indus planned was also great. It was a perfect introductory trip to India, and left us desiring future trips back. We very much appreciated having two nights in every location, as it gave us a little time to relax as well. We felt that all excursions which we added on were well worth the price, and appreciated having options in a number of places.

The only negative experience I had with Indus Travel was the actual planning and booking of the trip. Echoing on previous reviews from others, I found the sales consultants to be extremely unprofessional, ill informed and mistake prone (especially compared to another tour company, Gate 1, that we use frequently). Unsurprisingly, the turnover seems to be very high at this company, in planning this trip over a one year time frame, we had to work with 4 different consultants due to departures. I would still recommend using Indus Travel as I found our trip to be amazing, but I would caution anyone booking through them to stay on top of them and review every document and email with a fine tooth comb, as there will be mistakes.

All in all, great trip, great experience, and we love you, Atul!

They made me feel like a rock star the whole time, which is hard to do since I m a 60 year old woman. Very well done. Can t thank you enough.

We, a group of 12 seniors just came back from a 7 nights Dubai tour with Indus Travel. Overall we did have a very enjoyable trip. We were happy with the arrangement of direct flight from Toronto to Dubai. Special thanks to our Indus Travel agent Rachel Pader for her excellent
service.

Though we didn't get to check in to the assigned Howard Johnson Hotel on the first night, the duty manager James De Pedro of the hotel compensated us with a higher grade hotel nearby for the night and took care of all the transfer arrangements. We really appreciated all effort
made by James and his team of staff at the Howard Johnson Hotel to make us feel welcome there.

As to the local supplier, the Arabian Adventure, they separated us from the other group of 10. Though we got to be on our own like a private group, we had to settle with travelling in a small coach instead of the big ones with big windows.

The tour guides for the Sundowner Dune Safari were very good. The local tour guide was just ok as she did not keep good control of
time at each tourist spot which made us end up visiting certain places like museum for less than 10 minutes.

Arabian Adventure only had a silent representative escorted us through the custom at the airport with false information that the contact person Lynda would met us at the hotel which never happened. Our issue with hotel rooms not available for us on the first night was not
taken care of by Arabian Adventure at all. My phone call to Lynda was not pleasant at all as she didn't seem to know or care about our situation. Overall, we were a bit disappointed with Arabian Adventure.

I went with Indus Travels to take my first trip out if this country, headed to Costa Rica, and I'm so glad I did! The description of "adventure trip" was what originally caught my eye, because though I have been known to choose a location like a Hawaii beach just to veg, this new, Central American country was one I wanted to explore! Every day, almost impossibly, the activities & accommodations got better than the last, and all the things I couldn't capture with my camera, such as myself & my boyfriend swimming in a waterfall, flying on zip lines, or close-up's of my favorite monkeys, I knew someone in our awesome group probably would. Because everyone was indeed beyond awesome! And we enjoyed our trip thoroughly! We'll definitely be repeat travelers with this club :D

We booked the Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand tour....

We booked the Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand tour. It was sold as a luxury tour. I found it to be far from it. The hotels were 3* at best. The guide in Thailand was very poor and at one point dropped us off in the middle of Bangkok, miles from where we asked to be.

But the kicker was, when we checked in for our flight from Cambodia to Thailand, Indus had booked us for the wrong day. In fact, they booked us for one month earlier.

We tried calling the local guide who was kind but had no knowledge of our travel plans. We then called the emergency contact, Nathalie, who refused to help us (yes, flat out refused). We called the next emergency contact who would only deal with us if we had WhatsApp and told us to call the North American helpline. This helpline was closed because it was the weekend. With little time before our flight, we had to book one-way tickets to Thailand and hope that Indus would reimburse us, which they have agreed to do.

After leaving us stranded in Cambodia with all the emergency contacts refusing to help, they offered us $50 per person if we wanted to book within a year and had the audacity to call on multiple occasions to see if we wanted to book with them.

The tour itself was adequate and the other people on it were wonderful. The guides in Thailand and Cambodia were good. Indus itself is hopeless and I am ashamed that they are based out of Canada.

Heck all your documents carefully if you booked with them. Read your itinerary carefully to see what is included as this is far from clear. And if you are wondering whether you should book, don't do it. There are plenty of other tour companies around that will value your business, won't make basic errors such as booking your flight on the wrong day, and who will be there to help if something goes wrong. Finally, beware that your personal details, such as DOB and passport number are passed around very liberally, not only to local guides, but to fellow travellers. Just today I received another 10 people's personal details, and I'm not even travelling with them.

Recently traveled to India with my Fiance, booked through Indus travels. We originally saw the trip through groupon, but the days didn't work out. We were able to book directly with Indus travels and had the trip catered to exactly what we wanted. Joseph at Indus was amazing. He made sure everything was planned out and to our liking for our trip. We ended up with a personal guided trip, just my fiance, me and the guide. We also had a personal driver and car with ac through the whole trip. Joseph made sure we had everything we needed and clearly explained what would happen and answered any questions we had.
The trip itself was truly amazing, we only had a week, but we were able to squeeze in everything we wanted to do on the golden triangle trip (Delhi, Jaipur and Agra). When we landed in Delhi, someone was there to meet us and take us to our driver. Our guide Manoj was truly an amazing guy. He was kind, funny and very informative, he took great care of us, took us to nice places to eat when we were hungry and made sure all the bathrooms we used were western style and clean.
The 3 hotels we stayed at were lovely, and all of the hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. The food options were vast and great!
All locations we went do, we didn't wait long to get inside, our guide got us all the tickets for each place. We felt safe through the whole trip and well taken care of. It was truly an amazing trip and I can't wait to book more trips through Indus travels. Highly recommend.

Lots of fake 5 star reviews posted by Indus (easy to spot as the reviewer has only 1 review). On our Peru trip they had us on a 10 hour layover with my 80 year old Aunt and 78 year old Mom when there were 1.5 hour connections available but they had to save a few pennies so we suffered. This tour company does not give you what you pay f...

This tour company does not give you what you pay for, and tries to scam you for more money!!! My mother and I were traveling to South Africa with a group of 15, who all paid the same amount for the trip. We contacted Tordes Charlton, supposedly the manager, several weeks in advance to upgrade our room in Cape Town. We were told it would be $760 to upgrade to an ocean view room. Come to find out, once our group gets to the hotel half of the 15 are given two level suits and half are given ocean views - all for free! We were given a room with a view of the air conditioners! Once we spoke with other members of the group we had actually paid for an ocean or mountain view when we originally booked the trip, so Indus travel was trying to scam us for another $760 for what was already promised to us upon booking. We were eventually moved to a mountain view room, but Tordes took zero accountability for trying to charge us for a free upgrade. She blamed it on everybody but herself, not exactly ethical for the supposed supervisor to do. I asked for her supervisor to contact me upon returning to the States and she told me she doesn't have a supervisor, that must be nice! While the trip was fantastic, and I would do it again, just with either a different travel agency or a different travel coordinator.

We never got to our destination we payed for. First, my father called the company 3 months prior to departure asking if they could book us a flight from Nashville to Orlando. They replied with sure, I will put that in our notes and send you an updated invoice. We never recieved an updated invoice, and when they gave us our final intenrary- the flight was not booked. My father had to book the flight from Nashville to Orlando to get to the airlines we needed to get to out of pocket. Keep in mind this was much more money due to the late scheduling fees to get there. There were some weather issues, and we were not able to make the flight to Peru in time. We immediately called the company. They told us they would call us back very shorty to help. An hour and half later we had to call them back because they have not contacted us back. We had to explain our situation to completely new person, and her reply was they couldn't do anything that evening due to the fact that the airlines company was closed. She concluded that they will call in the morning.

It is 11:48 ET and we have still have not heard back from the company. Keep in mind that we are in a city that is not our home. Their insensitivity to our situation is tremendously hurtful, and we recommend to never use this company. All they care about is receiving your money. They have received ours, and it is obvious that they do not care about our experience with their company.

I know you probably get a lot of reviews about things going wrong on someone s holiday, but this review is the opposite. We just wanted to let you know what a fabulous time we had on our recent trip to South Africa and Dubai! The guide we had in South Africa was one of the best I've ever encountered! Peter Hess was so knowledgeable about everything and his professionalism put everyone at ease even when things didn t go the way they expected. He truly made our vacation the best ever! Our time in Dubai was also enjoyable even if it was very short. The visit to the beautiful marble mosque was one of the highlights of the trip and our guide, Afifi in Dubai was also very informative about the religion and other questions we all had. I'm sure it was difficult for him shepherding us around as he was also fasting for Ramadan during their extremely hot days. The bonus on the last night of the desert safari was the perfect send off for everyone who was there and we all left with a smile on our face. So, thank you again, Indus Travel, for helping us book an extraordinary adventure.

Booked with Indus for Thailand trip and customer service was absolutely awful, everything was last minute and needed constant prying to get info. They also did a last minute flight change (the day of) where we had to change our connection by 16 hours to accommodate, which cost us $300. When I emailed manager about this, they didn t even have courtesy to respond. On the trip itself, there was nothing at all from the tour company - we didn t even see them at all, had to do all kinds of inquiries with the hotel itself instead of the tour company. Was so confusing when we were there. An overall awful experience with this tour operator and would have been easier/less confusing to have just booked everything ourselves.. don t book with Indus!

I called about their self drive tour to Ireland. The sales rep could give me zero information on the "mandatory car insurance costs" that I would incur despite the fact they covered 3rd party liability and CDW. I asked about dates and they said daily departures in October however you couldn't pick a date until after you sent them your deposit?? If they couldn't get the dates you wanted, you could apply for a refund. Sounds way too unorganized for me. I think they don't have a clue how to attend to details.

Indus Travel provided an awesome tour to Thailand! Through Asian Tours they coordinated my whole trip. I had nothing to worry about and enjoyed my trip to Phuket, Kho Phi Phi, Krabi and my favorite in Bangkok, the Grand Palace. Robert and Mr. M. gave me a private guided tour of Wat Po, Wat Trimet and Wat Benjamaborpitr. I got to see the solid gold buddha, the reclining buddha and experienced my first tuk-tuk ride (so much fun)!

In Bankok Mai picked me up at the Bangkok airport and dropped me off for my return. She provided me with invaluable travel information about Bangkok!

On my tour I got to get my picture taken of 2 baby elephants in Phuket at the Fantasea dinner and show, a Las Vegas type show, as well as feed a baby tiger (so precious)!

I was transferred to Kho Phi Phi in a longtail boat (how exciting)! The vision of seeing this island I will remember for life - so amazing!

In Krabi I did a fantastic tour of the Kho Sok river, had the best Thai lunch I have ever had, got to ride an elephant and see a monkey temple - we were given peanuts to feed the white faced monkeys!

All in all I would not hesitate to recommend Indus Tours to anyone! Their exacting skill in organizing my trip surpassed my expectations. Thank you Indus!
