Went to this facility for a tour with my family. The location of the establishment was kinda iffy I felt. I also noticed a smell in the facility, maybe an old facility smell. They place is very old according to the tour guide. I liked the place for the youth activities mainly, and my husband liked the fact that 8 year olds can use they youth gym equipment alongside my husband on the adult equipment. I wish there was a better location and more updated building.

The staff at this YMCA are awesome and enjoyable. The building is a little dated, but they have made great use of the space. Has a sauna, which is always a benefit and locker room is huge with plenty of lockers for guests. Two different exercise rooms with pretty good machines.

basketball league games are often chaotic, running behind schedule, not enough seating, no visible game clocks, dusty floors

Zach was very helpful and tried to get us into the fun zone despite the person working there. !! fun zone for everyone.

The staff are kind and always treat my teenage son with respect and praise. Thank you for your hard work and dedication YMCA. The neighborhood isnt bad it's just old part of town so dont let that stop you from enjoying the facility and all it has to offer!!

Seriously, this place makes me feel like part of the Bloomington Normal community. The front desk staff are super friendly (especially worm hating Amelia). The kids care is amazing, try the climbing wall and floor virtual games. We frequent the pool! An, the group fitnessclasses and instructors are amazing. I'm always greeted with a smile!

I called for information, and the front desk and couldn t provide proper information for a membership. When I went in with my husband, and we received a tour... the place was very run down. We were interested d in Child Care while we worked out. We found out it was in what looked like a dance studio? They said it was temporary but didn t know for how long. Everything looked very dirty. There was a strange smell coming from what I assume was the pool. The only good thing was the staff was friendly. We will be going to another establishment.

We've been very pleased with the swimming lessons. Staff is very welcoming.

It is good for working out if u are a daily work out and the pool is good for laps

This summer camp is SO fun! And I was and still am a kid that goes there!

Great place to workout or bring your kids. Lots of activitys that include the community.

Came in from out of town, needed to copy my drivers license and never gave it back. Told me that they could not mail it to me. Makes sense, $15 for a drop in fee but couldn t slap $.34 on an envelope. Hope that $15 goes towards their busted down facility.
