Although the hotel is pretty inexpensive, it is also terribly out dated. The breakfast is not great, but you can pay $5.00 to get a hot breakfast that is better. The pool area is actually relaxing. There are many places to eat and shop in this area. The walls are very thin and you can hear other guest. Overall, it is affordable but not very nice.

I wouldn t stay there, it s reminds me of something you d find in an episode of hotel hell. Like i really felt like i was going to see gordon ramsey come in and ask me if the food was good and ultimately front the extreme second hand embarrassment of the entire place. Come here if you re one of those people that don t wash their hands after taking a dump.

Valet parking available but not necessary. For $100/night, this was a very good deal. The beds were large and comfy, the shower heads were pretty awesome. The pool was clean also. Several fountains around a motel-style Golf Course with many ducks.

You know it's not bad, if you want a place to sleep at night and you are barely in your room anyways. However, if I came there specifically to relax I don't think I would. The decor and bathroom was a bit outdated. The carpet needed some TLC because it made the room smell funny. Other than that, it's alright.

I am here for a wedding. The bride received horrible treatment when she checked in the night before her wedding. She walked around the property for quite a while trying to locate her room because the lady at the front desk refused to give her directions. I arrived at 9:30 am to help set up and Joanna at the front desk was rude, unprofessional, and had an awful attitude. As a matter or fact, everyone that came to help had the same complaint about her. On a positive note, the staff at the restaurant who also work at the venue where the event is being held are wonderful and extremely helpful. So wonderful that they made up for the discomfort I experienced with that rude Joanna. I can go on but I think I got my point across.

I'm just going to say this. The rooms are freaking disgusting okay. The sheets don't look like they've been washed or ironed... The curtains are riddled with dust mites. And don't get me started on the bathrooms. Absolutely filthy

Stayed here in June, and wasn't pleased at all. No microwaves or fridge in rooms. Smelled a bit musty and old. The FREE breakfast was very minimal toast, waffles, and u had to present your ticket that you get when you check in. The older lady who was running the breakfast was extremely rude. Wouldn't stay here again. And I came all the way from Iowa.

Golf course was in good shape, ideal for groups from up north to escape the winter. In a land of $100+ per round golf courses, Grand Palms is definitely one of the better values in South Florida.

Hotel room was outdated. The rest of the property was great. Was nice to have the continental breakfast in a restaurant setting. A huge plus for me as a football fan is that Laurence Taylor is a regular there. I didn't have a chance to play golf this time, but if the course is nice I could overlook the room.

While outside looks gorgeous, the rooms are just ok . No microwave or refrigerator. Coffee pot is very old. No USB ports to charge your phones. Not a single water bottle for guest. We have to pay $2 for small water bottle.

Great course, greens and fairway were well taken care of. It's my neighborhood course, but this was the first time I played. The Royal 9 holes I played were long and a nice challenge. It rained during my play but the course held up fine with the extra water. GPS in the cart was accurate, cost was great for the round. Recommend highly. A+++++

I have never experienced a worse place to stay than this hotel. I'm not a picky person when it comes to somewhere to sleep, but the bed they gave me was visibly covered in semen. When I asked to change rooms, I was left waiting for at least 15 minutes while the lady at the desk "finding me a new room" even though she was visiblely chatting with a friend. I was so angry that I knew if I would have said something I would fly off the handle. When I got my new room there was no doubt that someone had being doing drugs it because it smelled like what I would imagine a crack den would smell like (it smelled like someone had lit battery acid on fire or something). I maybe would have expected this from motel 6, but this was just ridiculous considering how much I had paid. The next room I changed into wasn't too bad compared to the others, but I was left with a great feeling of discomfort from the last two rooms. Also, the people who work here are generally unwelcoming and don't seem like they want to be there. Do not be thrown off by the golf course this hotel offers. It's by far the worst hotel I have stayed at and I surely will not stay there again.

I don't know who the hell these people are writing good reviews, but this place is an absolute DUMP! This place hasn't been upgraded or properly maintained since it opened in the 60s or 70s. I felt like I was staying at my great grandmas house. The rooms have old flower pattern carpet and they stink. The "free" breakfast sucks, I'm sure you get better food in prison, it was basically bread and water and my waitress was 400 years old (although she was very nice). Do NOT stay here. It's like staying in the hotel from the movie The Shining.

For $75 per night, king size bed, flat screen TV, & more channels than you could wish for, no complain! No microwave or refrigerator, but it s all good. The outside looks great, in someway it feels like the old days, nothing fancy inside, just simple & nice. Breakfast is simple, just waffles, juices, cereals, & coffee. The front lady was nice & decent. Cafeteria staffs was ok, probably because it was too early for them to smile... LOL... We will come back again whenever we come this way. This is a simple, nice, & decent place for you if you re not looking for anything big or fancy.

Great, modestly priced hotel to stay in if you want to be near Miami and other beaches without paying the price. There's a nice golf course here, and a spa across the street. Continental breakfast is included with your stay, but you must get vouchers for it, and if you want a hot breakfast there is a charge. The rooms do need some updates, but the one we stayed in was still a nice room. It was very quiet, the pool was great, and I loved the golf shop on site.

I had the good fortune of staying at the Grand Palms for the last 5 days. Unlike many hotels in the area the staff was super nice. Extra towels, no problem, extra coffee, no problem. In fact it was probably one of the most stress free trips I have ever had. Especially if you are a golfer ,I highly recommend the Grand Palms. Ask for Rick who is the General Manager.

Spring '2018... #1. Checking In - from the very b...

Spring '2018... #1. Checking In - from the very beginning we had paid reservations for a Suite which consist of 2 separate rooms. Instead we got 1 room with 2 beds in it. #2. they do make copies of your driver license as well as your credit/debit card. #3. The Suite Room which we did in up getting; the sofa bed was so out dated that it didnt even work to be unfold nor back in place out. (the handy janitor on duty) told us that the suite rooms are supposed to be marked and flagged "the ones with bad sofa beds. #4 which will be the most disgusting thing is the carpet; it's so dirty that no matter how many times you wash your feet just from walking from one end to the room to another your feet will be darken from so much filth...this is even after housekeeping has cleaned & vacuumed the room. #5 the ducks that walk around the premises causes a stench in certain areas due to their pooping everywhere. There are wild hungry raccoons roaming the resort for food and literally walking and running on the actual hotels grounds on walk ways at night. (Be careful). #6 the toilet and sink in the bathroom is so very low as others have reviewed and mention; just like some pre-school or elementary set-up for toddlers & kids. #7 the widow(s) to the room (2nd floor might I add) a huge sliding door type widow which had no screen(s) open but the lock was actually broken to be unable to fasten & lock. "Not something a family would want to rent if they have smaller kids. Maintenance said they will but never came back to fix it. #8 parking is horrible, its very limited (the facility doesn't match even half of parking spaces verses rooms. #9 For the breakfast you got to provide them with a ticket "a sheet of paper with your name on it" that's given to you at check-in. This ticket also tells them how many people is staying in the room. For every day you go get breakfast you got to hand someone in the cafe a ticket... #10 the TVs in one room was a flat screen that had cable and in the other room a regular old tube TV that didn't even have the same cable channels as the other TV did. # 11 the room was so dirty that my child developed pink eye from it. The only thing that was good about the place was the housekeeping service, even with that being said the rooms was still so filthy that no matter how much they clean it there was a dirty problem the carpet is the worst thing about the room(s). The place is just for show the ads may look great but the rooms are not but completely trifling. The rooms need remodeling very badly...

The beds are hard as a rock and make noise when you lay on them. The rooms are very damp and smells like mildew and very musky. You have to pay to have a microwave put in the room. There is no mini fridge. It is just a glorified motel.

Really nice affordable option for travel in Miami ...

Really nice affordable option for travel in Miami and area. The place has a lot of potential. The bed was nice and comfortable and the room provided sufficient space. I just wish that it was more clean: the AC unit needed to be wiped (could see dirty fan vent), the floor wasn't clean enough (saw a used peanuts packet in a corner), bathroom fan didn't work and the tub drain was clogged.

The staff though was great.

Continental breakfast was missing the "continental" - only had cereal, toast and some mini muffins with juice and coffee.

It is great for the price!!! Will return.

Awful - rude reception staff, grubby, dated, shabby motel type room. No plugs in sinks and told by reception staff none of the rooms had plugs and we should just block the sink holes with the face cloth. Shower dangerous as first boiling water then ice cold - told we must be using it at the same time as someone else so pressure was affected!! Isn't it supposed to be a hotel!! Rubbish. Don't stay here.

The beds are so badly ripped that the hotel feels like a dump that no respectable website or hotel apps should list. It is, however, in a prime location of Pembroke Pines, less than a mile west of i75. The free lunch is made up of two items, unless one agrees to pay for a more expansive (not sure if expensive). If you re looking to be in the heart of the city, this is the one, otherwise stay clear until this hotel has undergone significant renovations.
