Staff was very professional and efficeint. The room was great and everything was set up perfectly

Very nice lodging and breakfast with attentive staff but the convention center management staff's competency had been a disappointment.
There was a bug smashed into the phone, mildew in the restroom, TV from the 90s, the beds were dirty, as in FILTHY, and the food was pretty terrible.
The golf courses are amazing , great experience with the staff. The condition of the Greens is not the best but the weather is not helping. The golf carts have the GPS included with the color display which is a great advantage compared with other courses that are more expensive and do not have that option.
Very good and economical, but at breakfast they should add some fruits.
I stayed here once before it was pleasant enough. But this last and final stay was just too much. Just old and rundown beds are worn room smelled besides the room next door with dirty and smelly shoes outside hanging clothes outside. And then the $100 deposit that they want in the beginning. Truly unbelievable I will never stay again
Room was very spacious but the beds were very uncomfortable and springy. Its dated but overall a nice place to relax.
Their rooms are very basic, besides having a lot of humility in the carpets
Ants everywhere! Hotel was not clean and very dated. Second room they gave us smelled of mold and dead bugs everywhere. We asked for a refund and neither one of the clerks seem shocked with our complaints.
Wonderful place the grounds are well maintained and the folks working there are as nice as can be
Very old and dated. They have rented the pool out to outside guests so was unavailable for use. Continental breakfast was a joke.
Had a tee time booked for today and have been trying to call the pro shop for the past hour and no one picks up. Tried getting the operator and still no answer. Absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced.
Roaches ROACHES ROACHES ALL OVER!!!! First off don't get me started with the old hang armed Sandy. She'll smile I your face then charge you twice and say "of I didn't know it went through twice".
Certainly nothing grand about this place. For $100+ per night great disappointment..the breakfast was super limited and they didn't allow you to take anytjing with you not even your coffee the rooms were ok but not relaxing but the bathroom needed a huge upgrade..tge shower curtains were sticky had to shower sideways because I didn't want it to touch me..
Beautiful place, wonderful staff, hope to have an event there soon
When reviewing this venue, it's all about managing expectations. Grand Palms has seen its better days, and it appears not much money has been spent to keep it updated. On the other hand, given the price I paid compared to hotels in the area, I received a good value for my money. I had a clean room, a cold air conditioner, and friendly and accommodating service (I asked for an early check-in...they said no problem, come as early as you need to!). The free continental breakfast is bare bones, but I'm OK with hot coffee and a bowl of cereal. If you're not the finicky type, this place will serve your needs...at a price about $35 - $40 less per day than others close by.
I was very disappointed. The room was yuggy.
The room did not have a microwave or a mini refrigerator.
The bathroom is very outdated.
Mold looking in the grout in the tub/shower area.
The walls in the room needed cleaning and repainting.
The complimentary breakfast consisted only of juice, coffee, cereal, and. muffins. Five dollars extra for eggs, meat, and toast.
The place is very outdated. The room need a complete overhaul.
The evening staff was understaffed and rude.
Hotel is very nice and clean. Beautiful weather during December. the pool was cool. The only things that need improvement is the wifi connection. very poor connection.
Old from at least the 60's and hasn't been updated much since then. No elevator to second floor. "Free breakfast" charges for coffee so not free. Moved on quickly from this place after being place by someone that had no experience with this place.
4 starts on the course... the fairways are in decent shape, but greens are in really good shape, it is a really good price for the way the course is maintained. I like they have 27 holes so the air 9 holes of greens you can still play 18 ... i will keep coming every sunday early tee time.
Very quiet, old place but very clean... service is good at the restaurant... nice patio with water fountains and pool.... I stayed, looking for a place to relax and rest and I found it.... thanks
Very clean and accommodating hotel. Pool was great and refreshing.
This place was very nasty, they have no extra towels after housekeeping goes home. The shower was mildew very bad service my phone was dead wish I had the pictures to show. The pool area is disgusting it was a hole in the wall don't believe the pictures it's nothing grand about it.
0 stars. they don t clean under the beds. there were crumbs and random garbage, dead AND alive cockroaches under the bed. and cockroaches on the wall. very very dirty. comes off as a nice and convenient hotel but before you stay, just make sure to inspect your room and under the beds...
Nice hotel in Spanish style, walking distance to supermarket across the street.
We stayed one night and it was okay for that. Rooms and especially the bathroom need to be renewed urgently. For breakfast there was waffle, omelet, toast, coffee and cold drinks.
Terrible service, hotel in poor condition and terrible breakfast.
this is the only real hotel in Pembroke pines and The rooms look like they need updating.
Played golf, houses are pretty close to fairways but overall pretty nice
This is a wonderful place to have an event that special in your life that you want to celebrate
I came to this resort April 18 and the front desk woman wear wonderful and very kind. I stayed here at this resort for 5 days because my daughter was very sick and had a lot of doctors appointments. every morning when I went to get breakfast for my sick daughter who can't walk I was told I can not take the food out. there breakfast staff was very rude and disrespectful I explained to them my daughter is sick and is unable to walk and they still gave me a hard time they wouldn't even give me a plate I'm disappointed and I will never return to this place your better off somewear else I travel a lot and this was one of the worst experiences I ever had. When I asked to speak to management I was told that there all under different management there rude and disrespectful do not go here especially if your sick or caring for someone that is sick and there is no elevators in this resort and alot of roaches .
Nice price for the area, but rooms are comfort inn quality. Very friendly staff.
The hotel left a lot to be desired. The rooms were dingy, the breakfast buffet was the worst I have ever had and so was the service.
I was there for a marriage conference and food offered in their restaurant was very good, especially the chicken ceasar wrap.
Grand palms has awesome amenities. Tranquil and serene. Its was a fun time and service was great.
I book hotels using Concur and my regular hotel was booked. I travel to Pembroke Pines for work at least once per month. Since I had never stayed there I looked at the room pictures and went "this looks nice". I have a suite and figured it would be the suites in the pictures. Absolutely not. My suite looks nothing like the pictures. The furniture looks like it's from the 50s. The living room TV is a 19" (from what it looks like). The beds looks they are the most craptastic mattresses on the planet. I think they are boards covered with cloth. The room just feels dirty. Is it or not you don't really know. I do know all the bathroom fixtures are terrible and rusted. The shower has to be 20 years old. The TV remote was covered in something. I cleaned it before use.
The desk (if you can call it that), night stand, lamp and clock have so much dust on them it's pretty gross.
I am not a smoker but I could feel my skin drying out from smoke. Then I smelled my arm and smelled like smoke by morning. If all my clothes smell like smoke I will be really upset. This is so bad I am going to check out early and sleep in my rental car if needed.
The word resort doesn't really apply to this place and I definitely don't recommend staying in the hotel/motel.
Each year, I spend about 200 days in hotels and this is the 2nd to worst place I have stayed. My company gives me a $160 budget and for $127 (upgraded room) I figured it would at least be the same quality as a candlewood or residence inn but it's far worse.
Its terrible and Pembroke Pines is a nice area and this place is run down so much they might as well tear it down and just have a golf club.
This place is old can't belief they call it still a resort.
Breakfast is no resort breakfast but a one Star breakfast.
If you asking for a coffee to go to your room it's $.3.50.
This is and was a one time and Never again.
It was amazing and looked beautiful as much as you can imagine, i'd suggest this location to ppl.
Two stars only because the location was great and the room was well stocked. Otherwise, there was only one usable outlet, which made it difficult to charge our devices overnight, and the carpets were grimy. It felt like they hadn't been cleaned in way too long and we kept our socks on so our feet wouldn't turn black.
Beautiful and wonderful customer service. Room is clean and comfortable.
Very good hotel for the price. Breakfast is free and decent. Friendly staff
Musty, dank rooms. Staff say that hotel is 37 years old, looks and smells like it has not been updated since
Rooms are soundproof. The cleaning crew could be a lot better. I have stayed there twice and the first time a small safe box of medication was left under the bed by mistake when we left. 3 days later we called to see if they had it and they said yes and to come get it from the office. On the fourth day we went to pick it up and the office lady said that there was nothing there. So we asked if we could look in the room and the pill container was still under the bed... The second time we stayed there we were there for the weekend and a small amount of sauce from a meal spilled on the sheets didn't really think about it because I thought room service would change sheets while we were gone. Well we left and came back. The room was tidied up and bed was made. Looked fresh. Well later that night we realized that the bed was just made and not actually changed out. The same sauce spill was there on the sheets. Also we had made coffee that prior morning and when we got up to make a pot again we realized that the coffee pot had not been cleaned out either. Just makes me wonder what else is not really being cleaned either. The pool is a nasty green color and can visablly be seen that there is some kind of algae growing in there. One more thing, there continental breakfast sucks. It is all carbs and not one protein at all.
Good price, outdated but clean. No one bothers you. Me and my wife had an awesome 2 nights there
Very good golf course. Peaceful location and very convenient to shopping and restaurants, fitness center, restaurant on site and a great staff. Older accommodations and it still shows some of the grandeur of and earlier time. If the owners are able to invest in a restoration project and grounds beautification this hidden gems can be a stronger 4 and go to 5 with upgrades.
It wasn't to bad and I will stay again. But I didn't like it that couldn't pay cash upon checking out.
the first time I tried to stay their it was a problem because I wasn't over the age of 25 I drove 4 hours from where I live to visit family and had to find another hotel. 2nd I recently checked in when my mom came down to visit both rooms smelled like wet dog the cleanliness of the room needs a lot of work and the bed is hard as a rock super uncomfortable. I wont be booking her ever again.
Very well located, clean, very nice golf course views, well maintained gardens, reasonable breakfast.
Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms and great price. Rooms are dated and needs a makeover.
Dated, no fridge in room. The beds have a curve in them I can't imagine the last time they have been changed. Yes it is cheep, but if you look behind the bed it is filthy, the baseboards and under the bed is disgusting. The staff is amazing.
the servers here are horrible they don t take order correctly and when asked to speak to the chef he tell them he s busy. They lack communication skills it s probably because I m African American
CONTINUED: The manager stated the housekeeping sucks and the most they can do is "Remedy" different situations. They couldn't transfer me or refund me or anything so she gave me tickets for free breakfast but stated "The food isn't all that great either'. This is not a resort it is more like a motel. The beautiful fountain in the pics didn't have any water in it and needed to be cleaned. It was a raccoon right outside the front lobby. In the rooms "Under construction" there was dead bugs and ants in the room. Oh and the barely worked. Smh never ever ever again
Awful ! The place is really run down and everything is broken! The rooms are very dated Plus their so-called"spa"is dirty, unsanitary& smelly! Don't get caught up in the fact that it's called a "resort". Trust Me! All the better resorts are usually on the beach or on the intercoastal..So I was suspicious thinking that it could be a resort that I missed somehow..located in Pembroke Pines ? This was the time I should have followed my gut instinct & booked elsewhere, with a place that I've actually heard of.. believe me when I tell you that the Best part about the "Grand Palm" is seeing it in you rear view mirror as you're leaving! (Would give it 0 stars but it forced a out of me it should have that option at least lol )
Good Location. Close to shops and places to eat. Whole foods and Costco just less than a mile way. Nice course and scenario.
Buffet only includes bread items - it costs more to have eggs, bacon, etc. Rooms are great sizes but the beds are not that comfortable.
Nice course to play, but there was always some confusion driving the next hole. Because they have 3 courses close to each other, I think they need better signage pointing the next hole on the course being played. Other than that, nice, challenging, course to play (we are amateur golfers...). Enjoyed our experience.
The rooms do not have good lighting, the furniture is quite old, the breakfast is complementary, it only includes bread and waffles, they should detail that the additional cost is $ 5.00 per person.
It is badly located far from everything but in a good area.
