Good view, good room with good service. Hotel is near seaside, it has different looks from morning to midnight in one day

The place is good but not the experience. What you get is a very basic hotel requirements. The room we took was an ocean view room but still the view was not great. The central AC didn't work properly half the time and there was even a time when the WIFI of the whole hotel went out. In food front, though there was a good variety for breakfast yet certain incidents were quite depressing and regular, we found ants crawling out of a sugar sachet. Also, the food at room service was quite bland and expensive. The pizza mentioned to have 5 different toppings but what we got was just the pizza base with cheese and ketchup. Didn't try but swimming pool looked nice and they sort of have a nice beach as well. So overall not an experience one is looking forward to in a 5-star hotel.

Every time we left the resort it was a mistake. This place has everything you need for a family holiday.

I came here March 2018. The service was amazing! We had the gold all inclusive and for a family of 5 it was well worth it. We had zero stress when ordering food and drinks. The food was great. Don t worry, the all inclusive food is made to perfection and not cookie cutter. The hummus is made everyday and when they are out they are out. The pools were clean and activities plenty. I would love to go back!
Service was 1st class. I can say enough about this resort. My only complaint, they should give the guest a calendar of events. I did not know till the second day that it was displayed on the tv screens in the lobby. Otherwise awesome stay. Thank you.

Grand Mirage has had some exciting new developments recently completed with the new Julie's Restaraunt beachside previously (Jukung) just opened and close by a new adults only pool built up on a second level with an all family pool directly underneath. What a great idea. Besides this next door the old Club Mirage renovated to cater for families. Guest staying at Grand Mirage can use these facilities.
The family stayed in a corner suite at GM with stunning resort, beach and ocean views. Breakfast was included.
One can take advantage of their all inclusive deal as well which means even your mini bar is included as well as food and alcohol consumed all day. You can even have days on it and days off it.
Staff from front office to engineering are just wonderful and the building oozes traditional architecture of the past. One small point. I notice the old La Cascata is closed. How sad. A very special place for us as well as Cools downstairs from when we stayed decades ago.
When there introduce yourself to Wayan Sibang. Quite a personality and he and staff manage Julie's like it was their own.
Grand Mirage has to be considered especially if you have a family or even if not. All bases are covered.

Love the view of hotel, corporating staff and nice ambience. Good junction of morning breakfast. Less indian food but they tried it to make it best.

The land is wide. Rooms are spacious. Private Beach. But this is an old hotel, the interior of the room feels old huh ....

Stayed here for 7 nights in December.
Really enjoyed the place as the kids were never bored.
Alot of facilities for the kids like jungle gyms and a small water park.
Daily activities also done for kids.
The beach was also nice as its waters are not rough. Watersports are also available in and out of the resort area at a cost.
Starbucks is adjacent to the resort so that was a bonus.
Food was average not that great and being Muslim Halaal food is a problem in the surrounding area of The Grand Mirage Resort.
The restaurant in the resort BUMBU DELHI was halaal but as all resorts, the food is way overpriced. There is also a 21% tax over and above the menu prices stated.
When traveling with a family of 9 one has to consider the cost.
An All Inclusive option is also available when booking and can be considered as the resort has 5 restaurants to eat at.
What the travel agents don't tell you is that Bali is over 90% Hindu whereas the rest of Indonesia is over 90% Muslim. I am Stating that solely due to the food restrictions we had.
On tour we managed to grab some McDonald's KFC etc as they are Halaal nationally in Indonesia.
There is also a local option call JFC and ACK which makes decent chicken similar to KFC and way way cheaper.

Best Resort. Private beach. Great welcome. Nice and very friendly staff. Bit costly but its reasonable for a 5 star level hotel. Perfect for honeymoon couples.

My aunt booked this hotel for around one week but needed to cancel due to covid-19 situation. She's been trying every means to contact this hotel but of course no one answered. This hotel seems quite big and lux, it's disappointing to see how they handle this, or not handling at all I should say.

The location it s nice, the staff is nice as well but the taste of food it s not very tasty.
The couple rooms are alright but they could improve the cleaning in the bathroom and maybe to put some smelly/parfumed things there and in the rooms.
The resort is 5 stars but in my opinion Is 3 stars ( just for food and room) but the people are very nice and friendly.

Unfortunately, the hotel does not look like the pictures on its website. It could use a refurbishment in the rooms. The standard as for the local conditions is good but not adequate for the price. Nice breakfasts.

It may be inconvenient for those who are thinking about sightseeing because it is a little far from the airport.
Recommended for those who want to spend time slowly.
The beach was right in front of me and I could enjoy some activities.
There were shows on some days of the week.
There is no inconvenience even in Japanese.

The building is old, but there is a sense of liberation like a tropical country.
It's cute that insects (gecko?) appear in the guest room!

I still want to use it.

Nice room with comfortable bed. A little tried looking around the resort. Couldn't get hot water in our room. Food cold at breakfast. Staff where friendly but a little slow with orders. Definitely not 5 star.

This resort has everything.. great food, pools, beach, location, rooms and facilities.. very friendly people. Loved the spring activities especially pool volleyball at 12pm daily and the beach soccer / volleyball.

Best 5 star hotel to stay and it has its own private beach, breakfast buffet was amazing with indian food also available. Location is also great and near to water sports.

Booked this resort through expedia for late May 2017. Explained to them we had a personal emergency and that we might not be able to make it to this trip. Expedia said that everything should be fine. Airlines and shuttles can be cancelled but need hotel confirmation to cancel that. It was 5 months in advanced so everyone thought that the hotel would allow us to cancel with a full refund or at least with just a little cancellation fee. But NOPE this hotel is so stingy that they would even give us a penny back. I already do not recommend this resort! STAY AWAY

Good hotel with water activities. Beach in Nusa Dua is better

This hotel is very far from a 5 star. It is a 2-3 star at most. We booked this place based on the good reviews expecting luxury however, we got the complete opposite. There is no communication or organisation with the staff - for example it took 1.5 hours for an iron to be delivered to our room, causing a considerable delay to our evening. The rooms are old and dirty, our bed was broken, we reported the issue but nothing was done about it. The food is expensive and tasteless. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Great food and an awesome place to chill out during the day. Can be a little noisy at night,think that is just a small thing though. Fantastic views from my room,also.

Their private beach, though not large but clean and well maintained.. with its calm water, it's perfect for swimming with kids/elders. Decent service but can be improved. Breakfast option varies, from basic menu to indian and indonesian food. We chose ocean view and we're satisfied.

Not really Good, five star but like a three star plus hotel

The only place I ll stay...You ve renewed my love for Bali. It s not often all inclusive actually means everything, but it does with you guys! We had a party of 20 adults plus kids from all over Australia and nothing was too much trouble. Impeccable service. Can t love this place enough and are planning on making it our yearly family reunion spot! Thanks again everyone!

This is one of the best place to stay in bali with awesome beach view. Beach was super clean as resort staff maintain it.

They have huge sitting area on the beach with few table for candle night dinner. Make sure to book your place in advance for candle night dinner. They have options for Indian foods.

Swimming pool is big and clean. There is a kids pool too.

Cool hotel, I recommend.

The only thing - during periods of ebb, the water goes far away, if there is a choice, then select the days of the month when there is no ebb (applies to the entire coast)

Great property and great place to enjoy stay and relax. It is truly all inclusive (most services).
Breakfast buffet was excellent with over 100 items, with options of food for multiple cuisines including English, Italian, Indian, Japanese, Indonesian, American.

Swimming pools are huge with in-pool bar, what we liked even more was next to Grand Mirage is the Grand Mirage Family Paradise, which has a good pool and mini waterpark for kids. This place in 5 mins walk from Grand Mirage Thalasso.

Rooms were very spacious and clean with a nice sit-out in the balcony. We had booked a ocean view premiere room, however were not able to see the sea due to the trees coming in between. So thing to note is ensure you explicitly mention this before booking.

The resort has many restaurants but we didn't get a chance to visit one. There are many restaurants outside the resort too incase you decide to venture out and roam.

The resort organizes stage events like one we attended was Bollywood song and dance.

One thing to ensure that before you check-in and check-out is take stock of the fridge items. We had booked a cab from the resort to airport. And just before we reached airport the driver got a call from hotel asking him to collect money for two beers that were consumed from our fridge, which ofcourse we did not. Now there is no way to identify if the call was from hotel or was a scam by the drivers themselves. We complained to the guy on phone and did not pay, however it would be better if you check fridge items.

Room is quite nice and modern. Top bunk bed did have one loose failing but otherwise was extremely nice

Brilliant hotel with friendly staff, excellent atmosphere and food that will leave you wanting seconds. Located right next to the sea a clean safe beach, plenty of entertainment Parasailing, snorkeling, windsurfing ect etc the pools are staffed and are safe and clean, different pools for different ages. A pool bar and pool side toilets.
Everything you need for a relaxing holiday.

We payed for the all inclusive option. Staff was great. Several places nearby to eat if we didn't want eat at hotel. Pool had enough shade that I could use it. Would definitely stay here again

Super awesome resort.
We had a candle light dinner here. It was amazing. Also there was live band inside. And so much more.. It was awesome.

The rooms in the new block are stunning unfortunately the same can't be said about the old block. The service isnt particularly great but it wasn't the worst either. The food in almost all the restaurants and buffets always seem to lack seasoning and hence quite bland.

A great resort..huge property.close to airport still a beach property.Rooms are very big,clean,airy with all modern facilities.Bathroom fitted with bathtub,separate shower and western toilet.Free Toileteries,toothbrush,shaving kit are supplied.View from the room is great.Staffs are helpful,friendly.4 restaurants are inside the property..all are very good.Food quality is excellent.A well stocked bar is also there.A big swimming pool with kid's pool is there.A great resort for family vacation.Beach is accessible from inside the resort with many beach sacks to relax.Many restaurants,money exchangers,grocery,souvenir shops are just outside the property within walking distance.
