We went at this hotel for our candle light dinner. The setting was great and romantic. Our table was ready and waiting for us.
The mood was good will cool seaside breeze. We started with our drinks and dinner.
This is where we were disappointed with the kind of service and overall experience. We got the bill for drinks. The quality of food was just okay and quantity was very less. They gave us just one paratha and when we asked for more parathas, they said it will be charged.
This was the only minus point of our Bali trip. Not at all recommended :-(

I feel & observe, that they (the staf) not really showing good hospitality to local tourist. We compare their hospitality to many 4/5 star hotel in Jakarta, Bandung & Medan we've stayed in.

The access to this hotel is a bit small of a road, but its pretty normal here in Bali. Quite convinient location, pretty close with lots of f&b options around the hotel as well as minimarts. One of the highlights will be that they have their own private beach right at the backside of the hotel

Grand mirage hotel was an absolute gem of a holiday. My husband and I wanted a relaxed getaway from our busy lives in Perth and found this wonderful paradise on Luxury Escapes.
The best thing about this place is the all inclusive deal which makes everything effortless. The staff are absolutely amazing, friendly and helpful at all times. There s always something to do in the hotel including watching performances while you have dinner. Highly recommended!

Worst Experience with Grand Mirage (Romantic Dinner on beach). We paid 8000/- INR ( 1576904 Indonesia Rupiah) for a dinner and it was an awful experience. We expected good service after paying a big amount for a dinner. We are very disappointed with them & would never recommend anyone.

Good hotel. Important to know is that there are two buildings which are quite far away from each other. The newer building is more family focus. You will find the kids suites there. It's great for families. There is a really awesome kids slide pool there. If you want to go from one building to the other you have to either via the beach or the road in front of the hotel. So they are not connected. Very important to know if you book multiple rooms. The standard rooms are situated in the older building. It's old but has a nice atmosphere. More traditional style than modern. Downside is that I find the rooms a bit out dated. The rooms felt very humid. Breakfast is great with a lot of choice. Beach is great and very nice for kids.

A great spot, you can enjoy the facilities at the hotel or walk in either direction and find what ever you need from convenience stores to genuine massage parlours. The hotel has great facilities for kids in terms of activities with a kids club, a number of swimming pools and other random bits. Not sure how well suited it is for teenagers. All being well I'm looking forward to coming back.

We had booked an Ocean view room, but they gave us a room at the end of the hotel, where the beach view was totally blocked. Upon multiple requests, they did change the room but again, the view wasn't as good as expected. The service could be better, as we wasted nearly 2 hours in changing to a better room. Breakfast was really good, with a wide range of food, many live stalls and good quality food. The activities at the hotel were also very entertaining, and the beach is very clean.

Hotel and rooms seem a bit old. The bathroom, I give 2 - 3 stars (simple bathtub and glass shower are today standard and toilet in the bathroom next to the shower is not a highlight), which also the wooden folding shutter to be opened separation ("window" to the interior) nothing changes. If most of the numerous guests (many families with children) with bathing shoes, bathing shirt and gym shorts for breakfast appear (mostly the gentlemen), then for me this is not a five star hotel, especially as it is very noisy at breakfast. In the sea to swim you can forget, because you can walk through the midday low tide comfortably to the demarcating buoys, wading through the sea, and thus any swimming pleasure is missing. Also numerous broken hotel beach chairs and pool do not let a 5-star hotel close.
Staff is very friendly and helpful and also the daily shuttle bus to the collection (restaurants and shops) reconcile a little.

Extremely poor customer service and a farcical credit card policy. I paid in full for an all-inclusive holiday approx. 11 months ago and the hotel insists on swiping the same credit card on arrival despite the holiday being paid for. This card was cancelled due to fraud issues and is no longer active, so they are going to cancel the original payment and then take another one. It will take several days for a refund to be processed and we must pay again in the meantime. What do you do if you don t have 10k lying around?? Any email queries you send are responded to by an email 'e-concierge' who is basically a battering ram for any email queries. They just fob you off, so management don't have to deal with it. They also take days off, so you must wait up to 3 days for a response depending on what's going on. We haven't even stayed there yet, and we are extremely worried as this resort is not up to par and the customer service is non-existent. They even refused to agree to drop us to another hotel at the end of our stay even though we paid over $7,000 AUD for the gold package!! Also, beware when booking the IT system is rigged so it defaults to USD. Tread carefully with this lot and make sure you read the reviews before going. I didn t, and I know I will pay the price.

On the top five does not pull. Overall not bad. With food, be careful. In the morning at breakfast, after the Ogoh-Ogoh feast, food was seen from dinner. Despite the vigilance, poisoned (perhaps evil spirits moved into the food). The rooms are not big, but neat. Lack of hair dryer and hygienic shower in the room was surprised. Of the huge advantages: the first line, a children's area for 5 (children really like it), helpful staff.
