Family hotel..no need other place to enjoy sun, sand and salty water..one stop vacation they provided for us during our stay in tanjung benoa. They have private beach, kids pool and adult pool.
So much choices for breakfast menu

Nice resort for couple, family or friends.
My 3days 2 nights stay was fantastic, the beach is clean, the building is huge, the spa is great, it's value of what I paid.

To heal your work fatigue,
Good place!

Because it was all inclusive,
Changing restaurants every day
I ate food.

Because hotel and beach are near,
I could return to my room often.
Convenient.

As there is spa, it is marine sports
When I'm tired, I just slowly
I can do it.

The Grand Mirage resort is a tropical oasis the staff are super friendly and eager to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The all inclusive package is great value for money and we highly recommend it.

Great resort. Really nice breakfast buffet and very helpful staff. All available amenities of the pool, scheduled activities beach access. Accessible to outside restaurants and convenience stores - some other resorts are standalone and are far from stores.

Overall having a great experience and would recommend to anyone visiting Bali that want to stay on the south of the island.

Deceitful hotel that says it s all inclusive and offers a package that does not say all inclusive. However, when you book all inclusive, you get breakfast only. No one mentions you have to do gold all inclusive. Also if you book through any other site but theirs, then forget about the amenities such as airport shuttle which should be free. It not free unless you book through their exact site. On top of that, booked an ocean premier room and was put in a corner and could only see a pool. They didn t understand why that was a big deal. All in all, this isn t a place I would ever stay again, it s a trap and most places on the same strip are friendly and straight forward. Good luck!

Front desk - wonderful service and welcome

Front desk - wonderful service and welcome
Hotel design and room - dated
Food - could be better. Need to improve badly.
Internet - slow
Everything else - normal.
Starbucks nearby/next to hotel for a comfort drink.

The reviews online and the photos make this hotel ...

The reviews online and the photos make this hotel look 4-5 star, however, the hotel needs some money spent on it to bring it up to this level, as it lacking service and quality throughout the hotel from start to finish.

Staying as a couple and paying a decent amount for a two nights stay, we would expect more from the Grand Mirage than what we got over the two days. We were very disappointed and wanting to leave after night one because of a number of problems throughout the hotel which weren't up to scratch.

The hotel is very large, plenty of rooms, a kids pool, and a larger pool for adults, all connected as you can see in the pictures. They offer activities throughout the day, in the pool, such as volleyball and water aerobics, so you're welcome to participate. This wasn't told to us upon checkin, we stumbled into the sign walking around the pool the following day. Perhaps a brochure on the days activities on check-in would be useful?

The room we got was a balcony ocean view room, very basic, nothing fancy. Older style bali decor type room, with a very small wall mounted tv that you had to squint to watch. It looked out of place in the room as it was super small!
The mugs in the room were dirty and sticky! not cleaned properly. this put us off having coffee, so we walked down to Starbucks which is a 2minute walk away for a decent coffee.

Yes the room had a safe, but it wasn't bolted down to anything! You could pick this up and walk out of the room with the safe! FAIL! Not ideal for your valuables.

The shower was very small, one person maximum, if you're lucky. You had to perform a funky dance move to get out of the shower whilst opening the door. Limited water in the room, stock the rooms up with water, you know we can't drink the tap water, put more bottles in the room to use.

I hit-up the gym one morning to get a quick work-out done. The gym was alright, older style equipment which needs replacing, but it did the job. A few people were in there early in the morning working up a sweat too which was good to see.
There was no music in the gym, and the hand sanitiser was empty, top it up !

The breakfast in the morning was horrible. You have to wait to order eggs and stand around for 10-20 minutes, or more, whilst they cook your eggs. have a ticket system like most other hotels, where you write your order down and table number and you deliver it to the table! Poor service!

The Dim Sum on day two was not fresh at all. It was like cardboard. I complained straight away, as it was not fresh, it must of been the days before dim sum. I showed a waiter and they agreed and it was swapped out. But why does this happen in the first place?! Poor poor poor!

For a 4-5 star resort that they want to be, there was no salt and pepper shakers on the table, it was sachets which were limited and we had to ask for them to bring more to the table.

The pool service to get drinks around the pool doesn't start till 11am. The sun comes up at 6/7am in the morning, and its hot enough to swim them! Provide service at the pool! Poor form!

Overall this hotel is trying to be a 4-5 star resort but lacks service and overall quality.

You can find a far better resort / spa in this area or others, for a cheaper price, and one that provides guests an easy access entrance / exit from the hotel, not one where you have to walk all the way around to the car entrance and back onto the main street, waste of time! Create a peoples entrance in the middle for guests!

It needs a lot of work, staff trained to a higher level if they want to attract a higher star rating.

I stayed in this hotel in late August 2014. Price was acceptable around $110/night over the weekend.
The good:
- friendly staff
- swimming pool is a good size with separate kids pool
- breakfast buffet selection is good although many are unhealthy choices
- private beach with no street merchants and vendors harassing you
- facilities were clean overall
- parking was easy
- kayak and watersport rentals available on site

The bad:
- interior of hotel looks old
- indoor waterfall view marred by an AC machine hanging next to it
- hallways were dark
- rooms smelled musty old wood

Now.. the WORST part is the beach:
- do not expect a peaceful beach paradise because as soon as you get close to the water, there was gasoline smell in the air from the jetskis and speed boats whizzing around.
- non-stop engine noise like lawn mowers running around your yard all day long
- water was murky with visibility of an arm length
- plastic garbage floating in the water occasionally sticks to your face during swimming
- seaweed overgrown. Seaweed floating everywhere in the water and into your face. An indication of nitrogen pollution from septic wastewater and fertilizer runoff.

Facilities are reasonable, but it's just not finished off well and is dated. Feels like management decided decore could last 1 more year before becoming unacceptable and we are in year 2 of that. Food is okay but not great. Place needs some love!

Stayed for 5 nights in an ocean view room 3335. Room was spacious and clean with amazing views! Aircon stayed cold the whole time. Added the all inclusive for 3 days as it was worth it for me not to have to leave the hotel to find food ect. Only issue is the mini bar.. You must check and ask for it to be refilled. Pool and beach were great and the use of the beach activities was also good. Wasn't too busy when I was there so it was very relaxing. Would definitely return.

5 stars for the service. We stayed at the family building next to Starbucks. They have so many interesting stuff for kids like the game room, playground even the pool is really suitable for kids. The only downside is the breakfast. Everything was so bland especially the Indonesian/Asian food. We could only eat the eggs because it's made fresh there

The actual resort is nice but the rest is way below par. The staff is friendly but food, entertainment and kids activities are lacking. The actual kids area is at a different building also the kids water play area they show on photos are next to the busy road. I won't stay here again.

BE AWARE CONSTRUCTION is taking place at the hotel, all along the front of the property.
This makes the connection from the family part of the property to the main property a 20 min walk.
Worst of all the hotel is misleading in letting customers know about the construction - we booked when it was not happening, and were not informed by the hotel that it was starting. When I challenged staff I was told that there is a notice on the website - buried somewhere in their 'news' section. How many people would look that far in researching their choice.
Worse that that their 'girls' suite looked like it was decorated by a serial killer and each room we were shown was dirtier that the last...was so bad we moved hotels, and no surprise the hotel didn't give a full refund. Beware of the positive reviews, they don't tell the story of this hotel.

The kids suite rooms are a must with kids, themed , spacious and enough lighting with kids around... cute bathrobes and slippers provided in the room for the kids ...their bathroom is eye catching too... once your in the resort there's no looking out ... you just stay here ... lay down and enjoy all the activities for the kids...also offers vegetarian Indian food ... has a restuarant too Bumba Delhi within the resort... staying here for 3 nights and yet not over it ... sooooo want to stay here more !!!!...

Good buffet. Terrible rooms. Neither of which 5 stars can not speak. The number is estimated at 2.5-3 stars. All the old, metal rusty rubbish bins. The shower is made for dwarfs, with a height of 180 cm is approximately at the level of the nose, you have to "crawl under it") Antediluvian plumbing and furniture, it is clear that nothing has changed since the opening of the hotel, a narrow balcony, because of which there is very little light, prehistoric air conditioning

This is a nice hotel with a great ambience and cuisine .
Over all rooms are being upgraded so you may end up in a room which has ac malfunctioning or neighbouring room having upgrade noise .
Complain and they will shift to another room but they take a lot of time .

We selected the Grand Mirage Family Paradise for our expectation on a mixture between peaceful luxury and family activity, and we have not been disappointed at all. All went very well from the start with a reliable pickup service at the airport and a nice greeting at the hotel. The staff in this hotel is extremely friendly and helpful. We had booked the Kids Suite and found this rooms comfortable, clean and spacey enough. The restaurants are offering food on a very high quality level and dinner at the ocean front is unforgettable. The activities were adequate and not obtrusive. The Spa was a perfect dream and comparable cheap to European pricing.
The only things we did not perfectly like were the beach quality, the coffee quality, and the WiFi speed. However all of this was still good, but not as perfect as the other stuff. Also the service level varies quite a lot subject to the different staff members, but always good.
We selected the gold all inklusive package and believe it is offering extraordinary value for the money.
