Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. A lot of opportunities to go for walks, do something inside if it is raining or the sun is too bright. We stayed here for 6 nights. We are a family with two boys aged 4 and 8 years.

Oh my God!!!!! . I went there for my Birthday and I had the time of my life. In my 32 years of life I've never felt like such royalty. The stuff goes out of their way to cater to all your needs. The resort is absolutely beautiful and has amazing water activities. That resort is pure heaven on earth

Beautiful location just few meters away from beach area...Kind of its own private beach, excellent services and a lot of activities to do even in the resort. I will recommend to try this when you visit Nusa Dua and you won't regret. Will definitely go again.

Great place to stay. Very friendly and welcoming staff. They accommodated us without too much hassle when we wanted to change the rooms for a better ocean view. Very good breakfast, with so many options (English, Indian, local), they even had yummy frozen yogurt available. Amazing pool and beach areas.

It has it's own beach where you can sit chill day and night. Plenty of options to relax and eat but for vegetarians, the food might disappoint you. Otherwise perfect ambience and nice rooms and location.

Amazing resort to stay, with lots of amenities such as pool for kids, elders and pool bar as well. The resort is beach front so you can enjoy the Benoa beach from the resort as well.

The area is very calm and safe, there are 24 hours grocery shops (coco ) along with pubs to enjoy drinks food and sheesha.

The hotel itself has 3 restaurants. Out of which one is Indian (bambu delhi).

Amazing food and breakfast.

People are very welcoming. You can surely plan with family and friends

The Grand Mirage and Thalasso is essentially two n...

The Grand Mirage and Thalasso is essentially two neighbouring hotels combined. We stayed at the Grand Mirage (the older hotel), so to use the kids club area you have to walk a bit along the beach front or the road to the other newer hotel, so you are hassled by hawkers trying to sell every time you go back and forth.

We have a 6 year old son, so we wanted somewhere with a good kids club where he could make some friends and do activities together. Grand Mirage is very nice, however, not well designed. The water playground area is not part of the pool area and is set on its own, with primarily bench style seats and walls around it and is small and confined. You cannot lounge around and relax while your kids play here, which is why when we were there (for 7 days) it is almost unused. The main pool for the newer hotel does have one large slide and a rock climbing wall which is good for older kids.

The kids club room was very good with two separate areas for younger and older kids. The older kids area has a number of play station consoles, which the kids basically got on and stay on. Unfortunately, kids being kids, let them on electronics and they won't do much else, you could see that with lots of kids, including ours....so he wasn't really doing the playing and friend making we were hoping for. They really need to make the water playground part of the kids club and bring in some other interactive games like the air hockey table. Perhaps have an electronics free period for a couple of hours...

We didn't do the all inclusive as we like to go out and experience local restaurants and it did not look like good value. If you do not do all inclusive, the cost of drinks is prohibitive at the bar. eg a small bintang is 55k, plus tax 21%. Then when its charged back to you via credit card your will get the banks bad exchange rate plus fees. Not worth it.

Staff were all happy and smiling, rooms were ok for the age of the hotel and the cost. Breakfast was a good range and worthwhile.

There is a number of good restaurants on the road out front, plus convenience stores and massage shops.

WORST experience EVER . DO NOT GO HERE

WORST experience EVER . DO NOT GO HERE

- A piece of jewelry went missing from our room and apparently no one was to blame.
We spoke to the manager on duty several times and no one took it seriously. The necklace is still missing and nothing was done, even though they had recordings of two staff members entering our room during the time we were out.. suspicious.

- Construction site right next to the pool. Noise from 9am till 10pm

- Food is average

- Facilities are ANCIENT and the pictures online must ve been taken when they opened the hotel back in the day.

- READ- all the reviews on google and Facebook before you go and don t make the same mistake we did by wasting your holiday here.

If I could give less than a star, I would.

Booked for 6 days and 5 nights. We were hoping to spend the Nyepi Day with expectation of using their Kids Club and kids facilities. Since im bringing 2.5yo kid.

The receptionist keep mentioning, all facilities withing Hotel Area will be open. BUT they DIDNT mention that, there is a disctance between the OLD building and NEW building. Where all the facilities are in the NEW building. And most of the hotel guest were staying in the old building.

We DID Asked receptionist during check in, they keep saying we can still use the facilities during nyepi. BUT surprisingly, reality is different.
Feels CHEATED for not being informed.
They made a temporary room for playing. Which is totaly different with advertisement that we got, when we first booked the hotel (6days5night)

After all, it is an OLD hotel and still under renovation, the water tasted salty(when u brush your teeth), the bed is old, and toilet bowl is dirty. We requested for moving to the newest room or at least closest to reception area.

I would say, their breakfast is extravagant. But the receptionist and other staff need to be trained well.

After more than 20times visiting Bali, tried different hotel, this is the worst experience ever.

I am not coming back here.
And for family who bring kids, and wanted to just spend your time with all the hotel facilities.. you better talk with GUEST MANAGER, because different receptionist might say different thing.
You couldnt trust anyone.

The beach is near. There are few people in the morning and there is a private feeling.
Impression that there are not only Japanese but also Chinese customers.
Of course I don't understand Japanese, but Google translation was enough.

Good hotel. Spacious room. Food varied. European, Indian, Japanese and local breakfest. Huge pool complex under construction that will be operational early July 2019, thankfully because the water of the sea leaves something to be desired with floating plastics and plenty of seaweed. Great service, great cocktails, very welcoming and helpful staff. Good thalasso and massage.

Made a trip to this hotel for The Seawalker tour, so we didn't actually stay here! However, I must say that the hotel is beautiful and the staff were super helpful and courteous. It also has it's own access to the beach which is about a 2-4 minute walk from the hotel, so that's a good thing! Not to mention, lots of water sports are readily available to you!

This is a 4 star resort hotel in Tanjung Benoa. The suite room has 90 square meters and the bed is king size. The windows overlook the sea and offer good views. Local restaurants and shops are located opposite the hotel, making it very convenient.
Buses make regular round trips to the Nusa Dua area, where the bustling area is located.
Thalassotherapy is a rare spot that can only be received in Mie Toba and here in Asia. There is a memory that the dishes were prepared in the western and western countries and there was no Japanese food. There is no difference in each restaurant and it is of high quality.
If you use all-inclusive, you can enjoy not only meals and alcohol but also marine sports free of charge. Catamaran cruises, flying kites and underwater walks are recommended.

Recommended for family stays.
As facilities (kids room, pool) which children can play are substantial
It can be enjoyed with the children.
The spa is also famous here.
You can leave your children in the kids room during the spa. I was worried because I was with me without deposit ,,,

Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Spa-Bali is located in the south of Bali overlooking the Indian Ocean, 25 minutes from the International Airport. This 5-star beachfront resort has a private beach where you can experience the leisurely process of a luxurious hotel.

Great Resort! You could basically spend a whole week or 2 just at this resort. They have daily activities to do, a infinity pool, a normal pool with a bar, 6 restaurants and 1 cafe in the resort and the best part is they have a beach right near the pool where you can swim in it or do watersports, they also have a kids area which is a 1 min walk up the beach, that part has another pool, a kids waterpark and a waterslide. There are also alot of shops / restaurants around the resort area. ONE THING YOU SHOULD BE CAREFUL OF IS THESE PEOPLE WORKING FOR THE KARMA GROUP, THEY SAY THEY ARE PROMOTING THE GROUP AND WILL GIVE YOU THESE CARDS WHICH HAVE PRIZES ON AND TO REDEEM THEM YOU HAVE TO GO IN TO A CAR WITH THEM TO KARMA. WHEN YOUR THERE THEY WILL MAKE YOU SPEND ALOT OF MONEY, SO DON'T TALK TO THEM.

It's 1827h and I've been drinking since 1425h. I'm quite socially lubricated and all for free(or prior purchased depending on how you look at it). Excellent atmosphere and amenities. Seriously fantastic staff and good food. Everything you could ask for in a hotel experience.

The coolest hotel I have ever stayed in ... according to the price, the pool area has 3 areas ... the one for children is a bit far away ... I have to walk a bit far ... for those who have never ... the staff must ask children's pool..kids the club is cool there is a place to play ps 4..yg provided enough passages, can jogging fun, for the playground is also quite large..for kids club closes at 5, there is for pizza for kids who pay 50rb, rent 50rb bicycle, there is coloring too, for breakfast, according to sy, it is not so good ... standard, and not too much the equivalent of a 5 star variation, because I am Muslim, the one who draws juice is just like that, provided also puree juice

Staycation only one night, but my kids love this resort. Building for family 2br suite different with hotel building. Looks new n more modern. We like our room interior. Friendly staff. Delicious tasty breakfast and juice was fresh. Good facilities for kids with indoor and outdoor play ground. My mom and kids enjoy the routine on hotel pool. Definitely will be back again

Absolutely WONDERFUL service and hospitality. All the staff were SO friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and we had no complaints! We did all-inclusive and stayed at the resort for the majority of our stay in Bali. Fun kayaking and paddle boarding, and exploring the reef. The Seawalker was a super cool experience, highly recommend (we got a free voucher along with our all-inclusive). Definitely would go again! (Also, there s a Starbucks right next to the resort)
