I have never experienced such shocking service from an entity that is not a government department. I have been trying since April to get them to credit my account with a credit from Autopage. They have no idea what they are doing. Never respond to email. Never phone back. Give conflicting information. The list is endless. Even taking going to HelloPeter did not get any better service.

I had a cellular phone contract with Autopage cellular, never had problems with them, and know that GloCellSA took over lots. GloCellSA billed me R12948.48 on my debit order as I went to visit my brother in Australia as his son died. They said it was for data used! , I know my data was switched off and I used their WiFi every time I was on Internet or social media to my family at home. My itemised bill shows free usage then 16 sec later R1000 + then free again. so I paid R12948.48 because I'm no crook and will dispute it later, then 2 days later I received a call from a guy from GloCellSA, very threatening and agressive, I owe them R68000.00 and got 21 days or else! !!!! .......
I know I used WIFI and my data were switched off

This is the absolute worst cell phone company to deal with. They never answer their phones and when you eventually get through the person at the other end tells you that you are through to the wrong department and then they put the phone down. My contract has thankfully come to an end and I will not be renewing it. Good riddance.

WORST SERVICE EVER!!! I Took out a new contract with Glocell. The Contract was done quick and easy over the phone but the process of activating my sim is a nightmare!

The deal was once I have received the phone it will up to 24 hours for the sim card to be activated. I phoned the call center giving them the correct details for activation of the sim card.

Three weeks later I am still waiting for my sim card to be activated. I spoke to 8 support consultants as well as 2 supervisors but still did not receive the help I wanted. They kept saying they will escalate it to the activation department but nothing happens afterwards.

From all the reviews I read I am not the only one who is receiving bad service from Glocell.

I have never experienced such terrible service in all my life. What has Altech Autopage done by selling out to Glocell? Try and call the call centre with a query, that's the end. I am so disappointed, I have no idea if they have staff there.
I guess it happened at the right time, upgrade time so we can just move it elsewhere. Someone eventually answered me after about 8 minutes, then I needed to go to another dept. I was on the phone for 12:52 minutes, and this was already the 4th call I had made for the day. I cannot believe this. I hope they see this review and all the other unhappy clients.

The worst service provider in the world. Actually they are not a SERVICE provider as there is NO SERVICE. Absolutely useless and If I look at the reviews they receive looks like THEY DO NOT CARE.

Shocking service when trying to get hold of anyone for assistance. I want to settle my account and cancel my service and contract with these guys. I can see that I'm going to have a ball with them when I do and the debit order won't be stopped.

A) Terrible customer service and accounts. They don't pick up half of my EFT payments and then it's a struggle to them to rectify it.
B) I've tried on 2 occasions to change contract and they didn't put it into effect.
C) They often just hang up after a while of not being able to help. I'm guessing they are poorly trained and give up in frustration.

I have been in contact with GloCell for more than a week have tried to call been on hold for more than 45min only for them to put the phone down on me. I have had my contract with Autopage for 2 years and 6 months and never had such a high account. Everytime i ask for itemized billing i get sent a statement and a corrupt file that cannot be opened??????? I want answers GLOCELL there is no way my account can be this high. Your services is disgusting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My contract expired (ex Autopage) and I was going to cancel, but was talked out of it (some competition or other in-store); foolish of me; but when this contract expires I am out, finish, kaput. Not enough stores around and I have no faith at all in the advice / information that is given out.

THIS COMPANY DESERVES NO STARS BUT DO NOT ALLOW YOU TO POST IF YOU DO NOT GIVE A STAR. Absolutely NO service ! Phoned in numerous times - the consultant either hang up or are incompetent to help and very cheeky - especially Tercie at Sales/Upgrades who had the audacity to tell me that I need to take out another contract and pay for 2 and can then ask to get a handset.

I upgraded with Autopage already on 3 Febr 2016. They had numerous reasons why I didn't get my handset as promised within 5 days. I phoned in weekly and eventually with the migration to Glocell Autopage was not answering any calls or handling any queries regarding this matter. Now I am stuck with a 2 year contract which I pay but did not receive any handset and Glocell's reason why they can not sent me the handset is due to the 'fact' that they cannot give me a handset for free but they are taking my money every month for something I didn't get. Who is in the wrong here? CAN SOMEONE IN THIS COMPANY STEP UP AND GIVE SOME SERVICE, PLEASE????

To all my unfortunate friends who, after Autopage, ended up in the hands of Glocell, good luck to you. It is virtually impossible to get in touch with Glocell. I called on the 4th of May, but continued for a long time without anyone "helping", and later blew the retreat.
I immediately emailed and repeated again on May 11th. Just got a "ticket" number every time. What I have to do with it is sobering.

I was a autopage client. During March I received a sms that it is time to upgrade. April I went to a cell c shop, they could not found me on their system. They told me I must go to glocell . On the 17th of April 2016 I went to Faerie Glen glocell. The consultant Shanton helped me with the upgrading to a router. He said to me that my sim will change to a data SIM the following day and he gave me a router. The sim card did not change to a data SIM. During the following week I phoned the branch but no answer. I went to the branch on the 24 of April, there was a lady consultant that inform me that I can ONLY upgrade after 24 months. There is not such a thing of upgrading on 22 months? ( FIRST TIME I HEAR ABOUT THAT ). She also told me I can only upgrade on 31 July 2016, and from then I can used the router and receive my data. On the 14 of August I still did not received any data for the router. I went to the branch and there I was helped by Messiah, he told me he will put in a enquire, and I must phoned back on Wednesday the 17 August. I phoned and he notify me that nothing was done about my upgrading, I must phoned back again on the 19 of August. I did then I must hear that head office is offline.
I am sick and tired struggling with glocell and for the poor service. I will go to another service provider who can give me better service.
I never had this problem with autopage, even with upgrading. Yesterday 22 August i phoned the branch now the excuse is the IT is busy with it.
I do not even have trust in cell c anymore

As bad as you can imagine, been transferred 9 times on the only number available, on hold for 33 minutes, ask for manager and get transferred back to the main menu, there are no manager on that menu. All of the consultants I spoke to are dam rude and not willing we help.

I did not have a choice in the matter when Autopage signed my account over to Glocell , no complaints are being attended to , making a customer feel special does not rank high on their to do list as long as the can do in anybodty they are happy. Had no choice in the matter as I was an Autopage customer. These past 2 years has been an absolute NIGHTMARE! Payments done by EFT each and every month by no later than 28th still EVERY month my service gets suspended because they cant find the POP however on my statement there is NO overdue amount... Useless doesn't even begin to describe their SERVICE(or non thereof). Trying to give notice on my contract that i will not be renewing it in the new year, however each and every time I get transferred after waiting 20 min just for the call to get cut off! Frustrated beyond believe!!!

This is the worst compnay i have ever dealt with , they are uselss and stupid, we never signed a bebit order , I pay my account eft every month , I have a current credit on my account , paid the monthly fees anyway just to have them cut my line anyway . Then when you do get through they are unable to assist , the staff have no skills whatsoever. They blame you the customer for their incompetance I cannot wait for my contract to come to an end , i will cancel immediatetly and never recommend them to anyone. I pay my fathers mobile bill via direct debit, he passed 2 years ago and after multiple requests to terminate this, Glocell still debit my account. My only option is to cancel my bank account and risk getting blacklisted

Absolute pathetic service. Web site does not work. Customer care number (0841234)does not work (refer you to 084140, which is Cell C). HQ does not answer the phone and simply cuts you off.
My advice to all, avoid business with Glocell at all cost. A rating of 1 is way to high, it should be -10.

I am really not happy with the service I am getting right now, I bought a contract phone at glocell carnival mall on the 27th June 2016, July 25th my service was suspended till today, when I enquired only to find that Mitchelle captured my acc no wrong on their system,. this was corrected they said I must give it a day, my phone will be opened.after 3 days I called again, only to be told that I need to do a cash deposit, the debit order will now be effective in August, I paid same day on the 4th August , on the 5th I emailed the proof of payment and they say they will ask head office to open my line in 2 hrs, till this morning I called they say they can not do anything their lines are off since they are renovating. CAN SOMEONE WHO CARES OPEN MY LINE PLEASEEEEEE!!!!!

i lost my contract phone on the 9th of May last week monday and i reported the phone where i bought it at Glocell store in Glen village in pretoria the same day in which the phone was lost. we fill the blacklisted form but still today we are still waiting for the ITC REFERENCE number so that we can open a case and claim for insurance but still today there is not reference number. what kind of service is this , i am heart broken because someone is busy using my phone out there.

With regret, we had to cancel a contract due to terrible CellC signal in our area. The termination process with GloCell has been beyond infuriating. There is no office in Port Elizabeth and, thus, no-one to talk to. Phoning the support line is cumbersome and one waits long periods. The system is slow, the line bad and most assistants (you end up having to phone back on numerous occasions due to being put on hold forever or the call being ended) not very clued up. Overall, service is disappointing and not worth the massive effort the client has to put in to get anywhere.

I have for 6 weeks been trying to change from CellC to MTN, but Glocell is not porting the number as requested. Apparently after number out call to the customer service I got down to the bottom of it and Glocell requires a termination form to be filled out. They promised to send it multiple times but didn't bother to do so. Finally I managed to keep the customer service on the phone line until I had received the form. Then explain that I have to wait another 30 days for the cancellation of the contract, even after they been unable to provide the required form for 6 weeks. It's feels like the company is holding you hostage to contracts and is not providing you with the necessary forms to end the contract.

It truly is shocking to experience the standard of service I have received from Glocell the last two weeks. On your website you state it is your policy to have your directors call customers on a regular basis.

I honestly wish one of Glocell's directors will phone me in order to discuss this matter urgently.

Every month I receive 10 gig of anytime data in two allocations. One sms notifying me I have been allocated with 3gig and imediatly afterwards a second sms notifying me that I have been allocated with 7gig. On 1 January 2017, I received an sms notifying me I have been allocated with 3gig of data but I never received the 7gig. Checked my balance but nothing.

On 3 January 2017, I phone customer support and have been phoning everyday and have send emails. Nobody responded to the email and everytime the people at customer support say the matter has been send to the I.T. department. I even spoke to Maria in accounts at head office on 11 January 2017, still, I have had zero feedback and still havent received my data.

I use my data for the company I work for and I want to know how are you going to compensate me for the two weeks I had to go without my data? I am legally entitled to 10gig of data every month on the first day of the month, as per my contract. What you are doing is illegal and have breached my contract.

I am forced to take all of this info and distribute it on all social media, newspapers, family, friends and every single person I can think of.

Shame on you Glocell, how can you work with klients when you steal from them!? You are a disgrace as a service provider.

I dare anyone of the directors to phone me, if they have the guts. Which I know will not happen, just like nothing happend from 3 January up until now 15 January 2017.

It is now more than two weeks and still NO response on my email enquiries. Phoning is also a waste of time. When one is fortunate enough to get through you are cut off very quickly before your issue can be resolved. And then there is a Mandy who phones and gives a bank account number for money to be paid in immediately with all sorts of threats. I have no idea if it is even Glocell's account as it has all the makings of a fraudulent scam. In my entire life I have not been at the mercy of such incompetence. (I had to give one star in order to post.)
