You could found a lot of second hands stuffs (furnitures or even computers) here with a very attractive price instead of buying a new one. For computers, they also have warranty included. Very good for international students :)

no other second hand offers a better price quality... they are unique and 30 % from the profit is going to poor people. this shop puts all other second hand shops in the shadow !
I work here myself and every day - very honestly - I hear from people that this is the nicest cycle in Ghent for them. I myself think that the thrift store is also growing more and more every day. What I like the most is the promotions that are often linked to the seasons. For example, a promotional vacation promotion just before the summer vacation. Or more original events such as "Retro Day" and "Coco & Co" (expensive clothing at bargain prices). ^)
Super nice and cozy store! Personally I am mainly looking for electronic devices and speakers, which the store certainly does not disappoint me! The other that they offer is also fine! (Plates, Books, Texiel, Furniture, etc.) Very satisfied!
Friendly staff & sometimes bargains! The thrift store collects reusable goods that are collected from your home for free after making an appointment by telephone. You can also drop off the goods in the store. All goods are made ready for use in the warehouses and then put on sale in the thrift shop for many visitors !!! This operation is supported on the one hand by a large group of volunteers and on the other hand by people who are employed through Social Employment programs in collaboration with the O.C.M.W. from the City of Ghent and with the province of East Flanders. Actually you can find everything that is conceivable. Furniture, bany & children's equipment, books, music, LPs ...., clothing, small household and household appliances, electrical appliances, certainly worth visiting on everyone's budget !!!
this is possibly the best of the stores operated by Ateljee. Kringloopwinkle means second hand store in vlaams, literally "things that go around in a loop". They have a section of "nice things" which features the finer items available in the store on a rotating basis. A small section for furniture, a room of kitchen wares that is the go-to place for students newly arrived in town and needing to setup a new apartment. There is a room full of books some of which are English, French and German but mostly Dutch (nederlands) of course. Upstairs all the floor area is for clothing and shoes of all types. The shopping experience is completed by the coffee shop across the park from the store. For those that like middle eastern food lunch and dinner are available at a restaurant opposite the coffee shop. The only negative for a visitor is that the location is a bit hard to find. It is on a side street with little parking so plan to ride a bike or taxi there.
Classic thrift shop with varied offer. Many drinking glasses available. Many CD, DVD and LPs available. Clothes on the floor. The store is located in the center, so it is more difficult to reach by car.
retrodag a few days before the retrodag we had seen during our visit a designer chair that we, according to the employees in the shop, could buy on the retrodag Saturday. We decided that day before the opening of the store to wait at the entrance to be sure that we could buy the chair. Unfortunately we did not find it in the store anymore through the window. Another employee then told us that the chair had already been sold to the volunteers a day earlier. Unfair, especially when we were told explicitly that we could buy the chair on the retrodag! Even more unfair if you know that they themselves choose the prices that are stuck on the articles and then sell them internally. And according to them, the customer can not really see in advance which articles are in the cycle, to keep track of self-chosen prices first? A nice form of doing business with products that they receive as gifts, NOT DUS! A sad abuse of an otherwise good initiative ...
