Don't like pizza usually, but they have great pizza

The service was terrible. I even talked to a manager and he was even rude. I would not recommend this to a person I hate. Food was not even cooked all the way. Waitress was a diva. There are many other places I would rather go!

1 hour and 45 minute wait once we ordered our pizza until the time it came to our table. Deep dish more meat pizza. It was ok. Server was friendly.

The host was very friendly and the pizza was delicious. It was my First time trying chicago deep dish and i cant get over how sweet the crust on this thing is. If i could afford to go all the time i totally would.

Tasty, insanely busy, but remarkably efficient. I'd suggest it to anyone in Chicago as a great touristy pizza joint.

This pizza is definitely something different than usual pizza - I believe it s worth to try and it was really good, but I wouldn t go through the hassle of ordering again - the waiting time for pizza was approximately 1 HOUR! (which is supposing to be fast food..?!)
There wasn t enough space to sit down, so me and my coworkers decided to take pizza to the park nearby and find a bench and eat it there (which in November/December isn t really the best option) but there wasn t any other choice, as the place had the first available table for us only in 1,5 hour! :-/

Stereotypical "Chicago-style" pizza joint. Nothing to write home about if you live in Chicago but if you're visiting, this is a decent place to get a hearty slice of tomato pie. Fair prices and decent food equates to good value but not the place you take someone you're looking to impress with your culinary wisdom.

Typical Chicago-style pizza place, it's worth it although I think there are better options. Being made at the moment, you have to be prepared to wait at least 40 minutes in what they prepare the dishes, so I recommend not to go dying of hunger and have patience.

Great deep dish pizza. The 6 individual is more than enough if you re dining alone.

There is a wait for a table AND about 45min-1hr wait for your food.

If you are dining alone, sit at the bar/high top chairs - didn t have to wait for a seat.

Awesome pizza. Also a quite different from look and taste perspective. If you ever go to Chicago, you should have it at least one time. There Deep Dish pizza is the patent one.

Excellent pizza, both deep dish and thin crust. They fill your pizza with a lot of toppings. Did I say alot, a WHOLE LOT!!!

The staff is working super hard and you can tell they do everything they can to get the great experience of eating here a great one. The pizza is like a big delicious cake. Its a good place with good pizza.

Me and my friends tried "Build your own" large. It was nice, tasty and very heavy living up to its name. I will suggest to go there with empty stomach

Pretty good, but get there early if there's an event in town. Wait time is super long!

Waitress - Julia she's very very nice and explained to us what size we should get and what's inside the pizza. Although, the food here is a bit overated since it's different 'deep dish pizza'. You can try for an experience but dont come for regular pizza

For my first time in Chicago I felt compelled to try the famous Giordano's Downtown as my first foray into Chicago Pizza. I was surprised by the wait - not to be seated but to get food. Around an hour and a half, which, upon talking to friends appears to be on the short side of what's possible. Service during that time was almost non-existent. The pie itself was pretty good, I got an individual dressed like "The Classic". I can't say I'd ever make a point of coming back, but wouldn't recommend against it either.

The worst customer service ever! I was visiting the city and I had the worst experience in the restaurant. The waitress was rude. I asked for a food suggestion because was my first time there and she said look at the menu that s we have. By the way the food takes more than 70 minutes to arrive just for a sandwich and a cheese pizza and it was cold.

Delicious pizza. They don't over promise wait times so we knew what to expect for the wait. It's good to order then walk around for an hour. Only downside is how busy it is.. but they can't control that!

Order the small pizzas. 2 people have a hard time finishing one small. Try the stuffed. The regular thin is like a hand tossed thin. Both were good.

1 hour wait outside, plus 1 hr wait inside sitting. Pizza was not even that good plus extremely overpriced. Definitely not coming back.

Took a minute to get waited on but the food was amazing. Classic Chicago Deep Dish, because hey you can't go wrong with a classic right..?
Wings and Cheesy Garlic Bread was also delicious!
Takes about an hour for the pizza to be ready but hey it is deep dish after all. Worth the wait.

Awesome food and incredible attentive service. Downside is that because of this, they're extremely popular so expect a long wait.
They do everything they can to minimize the impact though. (Like taking orders while you wait for seating.)

Sadly Giordano's ran out of Marinara sauce on the night we visited, and the alternative dishes they could make were average.

The pizza was awesome here, after my son graduated boot camp at great lakes we walked around Chicago and ended up here for lunch

Pre order is useless because they take your order again after making you wait for 45 mins. And when they do take the order at the table you will have to wait another 45 mins.
Disappointed for a place that s highly rated.

Simply delicious deep dish Pizza.
Wating time is quite long even at 3pm we waited for about an hour. But the Service is very good and attentively, asked aus several Times whether we are fine or want something else. A small Pizza is really enough for two people as it is really high stacked. Must try when you are in chicago

In Chicago you can not stop going to giordanos, the deep dish pizza is RIQUIISIMA, we also ordered Caesar salad and fettuccine Alfredo, we all liked it very much, the price according to quality, for a group of 6 people we paid around 100 dollars, it is worth sorry to go to Giodanos, super recommended!

As far as I can tell, there's very little you can do to get around the wait, which is most often at least an hour. Prepare yourself. But the pie was delicious!

The place was clean, it was not as packed as usual our waite time was 20mins. The food was good, the service was great. The server checked on us the right amount of times. We never had to look for her. I will return.

im a complete sucker for this place. i love their deep dish, especially the veggie. i might gain like 5lbs every time i eat here but it's worth it.

Absolutely horrible dining experience. All of the reviews about this place saying that it was amazing, prompted my best friend and I to dine there. The margarita pizza was absolutely disgusting and cheese bread was horrible. Everything tasted frozen and left a bad after taste. Best thing about the meal was the iced tea. Avoid at all cost. Waiter did not even assist with trying to make our dining experience better. Disappointing to say the least...

Words cant explain how delicious these pizzas are. They are original deep dish for Chicago. Everytime we visit Chicago we always plan dinner at Giordano's. Expect to wait 45 minutes for your food since they make everything fresh. Definitely worth the wait.

Thick crust pizza was great, thin crust meh. Lasagna was tasty, service was friendly if a little slow.

The Combo deep dish was great !!! Violeta was great, she was friendly and great waitress.

Ordered the classic margherita, deep dish Chicago style and Italian beef sandwich. Everything was amazing.

Now I know why this place was so busy! The pizza was absolutely DEVINE! It was crispy, crunchy and very tasty!

The Nashville hot wings were absolutely amazing - totally get them if you love hot wings!

Still a good pizza if you're in the area, but I reccomend finding a different Giordano's location. This one has become to "touristy" for my tastes.

This is the first time I tried deep dish pizza, and they have me HOOKED! The amount of cheese on this pizza is astronomical (in a good way) and the crust was delicious. I will certainly be back next time I'm in Chitown!

It was crazy busy on a Wednesday night but all the staff did a great job. It s worth the wait! Know to order smaller than you think. We ordered a small between the two of us and had 2 extra pieces.

Deep dish spinach pizza, how can you go wrong? Order ahead, it takes an hour for deep dish to cook, but we'll worth the wait!

Got the individual peperoni deep dish pizza. Being from NY I have tried plenty of great pizza. This being my first deep dish I was very satisfied.

I waited 3 hours to be seated and thier was no place to sit while waiting. It s super crowded and loud. It s incredibly expensive for pizza. The pizza isn t even that good.
