This place was recommended to us to try while in Chicago and let me tell you they didn't disappoint. Great food options. Pizza was out of this world. It seemed like there was 5 pounds of cheese in it. I love cheese so I was in heaven.

Worst experience I have had at a Giordano's. The reception showed complete apathy and wasn't interested in helping out at all. The server came to our table after 20min and when she came she refused to give us water without ice... I would suggest people go to another Giordano's branch.

The bartender was very rude. My husband tried to get her attention several times before she acknowledged him. Maybe because he was black. Not a good feeling at all. The lady on the take out side was very friendly and helpful.

The texture of the deep-dish pizza is like a pastry and it's delicious. Spinach is less squeezable, but I can not get rid of the peculiar flavor, so I recommend adding only pepperoni to cheese pizza. Lunch time is from 12:00 to 3:00. At this time, you can eat one pizza cheaper.

We had an excellent waiter who was attentive and personable. The deep dish pizza took about 45 minutes to make, which we were warned about before ordering, so that was ok by us. Ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer and it was amazing.

As an Ohioan who's had some Chicago style pizza before, this was the best Chicago pizza I've ever had. If you like tons of cheese, this is a good place to go. The small size with pepperoni and mushroom was way more than my wife and I could eat in one sitting.

Next time I'm in Chicago, I hope to try some of the other places mentioned in other reviews, but I found Giordano's to be excellent, so it'll be hard to want to try something else.

- good food. Took my parents there as something to do in Chicago, and they loved it. Large portions, smallest size is large for 3 people. Tastes good and the crust was especially crispy if you are a crust person!
- extremely long wait time, which could be shorter because when we finally went in there were several empty seats, and they don't take reservations so - who are these seats for?

Real good. Only issue is the wait. Due to its location usually there is a very long wait. My suggestion is to get on the wait list, order your pizza selection ahead, go explore the city, then when they text you arrive asap. Following that plan it was a 1.5 hours wait. But worth it, especially if you have never had deep dish pizza before. Due to it being such a busy and popular place, I question why they have such a small size restaurant. Needs to be bigger.

Food was delicious. Service from the outdoor staff was exceptional. The person taking our names down offered to watch the stroller if we parked it next to her and the waitress made sure we had a great experience. The bar staff was less than satisfactory. My wife and I had a 45 minute wait(part of the experience) and we wanted to get a drink. We had our daughter with us so my wife was going to get a drink from the bar. The bartender stated that they need two IDs, which we didn t know. So my wife informed him that I would need to park the stroller. He wouldn t give her drink at first even though she had her ID and paid for our drinks. Eventually he said he would give her the drink. I was able to park the stroller with the outdoor staff and got to the bar. I stood there for a good 15 minutes with my ID out and was never acknowledged. I even held my ID up for them to see. We just grabbed the beer sitting at the bar and decided to sit down, since there were some open spots. Another 10 minutes went by and he finally acknowledged us and said we couldn t be at the bar with our daughter. Please don t make someone come in and then state they can t sit at the bar after not acknowledging them for 20
minutes. Overall things were great with the food.

I visited there a few days ago and I ordered the super veggy pizza. frankly, I didn t expected the taste before I ate because some of bloggers posted the pizza taste as not good. (too much salt and the tomato sauce taste like ketchup bla bla) however it was so nice. I don t know the reason why they so different with me but I guess if they picked the veggy pizza, they might be better to tell about the taste of pizza! let s try :)

ps, I packed the pizza for take away so the cost may around $27 (include tax/ small size). it s good enough size to eat two people

Authentic Deep Dish Pizza the right way! Probably one of the finest in Chicago. You should be prepared to wait for a few minutes to get in. The crew is courteous and well trained. The order does take it's share of time to come through but it's well worth it. The pizzas being Deep Dish are on the heavy side but fulfilling at the same time. If you're craving for Pizza this is one recommended place without a doubt!

This place is overrated and their pizza isn't really that special. The only major difference that I could taste was dough and the wait time that was an hour long. But the pizza was pretty good I guess.

Definitely not the actual most showstopping deep dish in Chicago, but quite tasty and they have a killer lunch special (personal deep dish with a side for $10). A friend ordered the thin crust - also an option with the lunch special - and they warned us it would take 20 minutes, however. Service was very friendly and this is still a quintessential Chicago stop.

All of the food is great! The world famous deep dish is the best!! The wait staff is kind and very helpful. If you don't mind a little wait for a delicious pizza to come out of an oven then your going to love it! They have a very good bar More

It was me and my family's first time in Chicago and I wanted the kids to have the Chicago deep dish experience. It was a great choice. I cant compare to other places. But because of the convenience of the location to the south shore line trains I dont think we will pass up a chance to come back every time we travel through.

I'm a believer that New York pizza is the best, but deep dish is so damn good. Decided to visit Chicago and these guys did an amazing job filtering through the hundreds of people that were trying to eat here. Speedy and quality service and the food was amazing. Can't wait to come back.
