Great pizza! The staff was extremely friendly as well.
Waited forever for service. The food was fantastic but they were out of the appetizers we wanted to order. Would love to go again and have another member of the wait staff serve us.
I love there chicago style salad !! So bad! I want definitely go there again soon!! Everything was perfect not salty at all. I wish I can go there again. Thinking about to move to Chicago because of food... Great customer service and nice atmosphere! I can see that why this location has great reviews! Thanks for great service and great dishes !
Although the wait time can be tiring sometimes, during busy weekends....but it s worth waiting. If you are looking for Chicago s signature pizza, then this is the place....
This place was recommended to us to try while in Chicago and let me tell you they didn't disappoint. Great food options. Pizza was out of this world. It seemed like there was 5 pounds of cheese in it. I love cheese so I was in heaven.
Worst experience I have had at a Giordano's. The reception showed complete apathy and wasn't interested in helping out at all. The server came to our table after 20min and when she came she refused to give us water without ice... I would suggest people go to another Giordano's branch.
Anel and her crew did a wonderful job with our dinner tonight! Helpful and tasty!
Excellent food, staff was a little bit rude to me however over asking about splitting the bill.
The sandwiches are very good and crunchy. The pizza isn't so greasy. But you have to take your food home because it is always full(if you manage to get there early).
Excellent pizza, excellent service. Our server(dont remember the beautiful ladys name) was really good too, prompt service and really attentive. 10/10
Sat down for 30 minutes. I never had my order taken. Left.
Very good Pizza Recommended for any tourist, you can't leave without trying it
The bartender was very rude. My husband tried to get her attention several times before she acknowledged him. Maybe because he was black. Not a good feeling at all. The lady on the take out side was very friendly and helpful.
Absolutely a must stop for the legendary Chicago style deep dish pie! Enough said.
The texture of the deep-dish pizza is like a pastry and it's delicious. Spinach is less squeezable, but I can not get rid of the peculiar flavor, so I recommend adding only pepperoni to cheese pizza. Lunch time is from 12:00 to 3:00. At this time, you can eat one pizza cheaper.
We had an excellent waiter who was attentive and personable. The deep dish pizza took about 45 minutes to make, which we were warned about before ordering, so that was ok by us. Ordered the bruschetta for an appetizer and it was amazing.
As an Ohioan who's had some Chicago style pizza before, this was the best Chicago pizza I've ever had. If you like tons of cheese, this is a good place to go. The small size with pepperoni and mushroom was way more than my wife and I could eat in one sitting.
Next time I'm in Chicago, I hope to try some of the other places mentioned in other reviews, but I found Giordano's to be excellent, so it'll be hard to want to try something else.
Was good but pricey...we have just as good pizza here and not as expensive
Service insanely slow and pizza has barely any taste.
Incredibly long wait time but ended up being well worth the wait. Great, delicious pasta! Incredible, attentive service. Overall great experience and highly recommend visiting.
- good food. Took my parents there as something to do in Chicago, and they loved it. Large portions, smallest size is large for 3 people. Tastes good and the crust was especially crispy if you are a crust person!
- extremely long wait time, which could be shorter because when we finally went in there were several empty seats, and they don't take reservations so - who are these seats for?
If you are into deep dish, this is the place for you. The wait was quite long but it is part of the experience of going to Giordano's.
Lunch set is not good than we thought and wants to recommend separate menu.
Best pizza I've ever had. First time at this location during Lollapalooza 2016 did not disappoint. Can't wait to come back again
Real good. Only issue is the wait. Due to its location usually there is a very long wait. My suggestion is to get on the wait list, order your pizza selection ahead, go explore the city, then when they text you arrive asap. Following that plan it was a 1.5 hours wait. But worth it, especially if you have never had deep dish pizza before. Due to it being such a busy and popular place, I question why they have such a small size restaurant. Needs to be bigger.
Original Chicago deep dish pizza. It was very satisfying and unforgettable!
They definitely live up to the hype! A hands down "must visit" while in Chicago.
Food was delicious. Service from the outdoor staff was exceptional. The person taking our names down offered to watch the stroller if we parked it next to her and the waitress made sure we had a great experience. The bar staff was less than satisfactory. My wife and I had a 45 minute wait(part of the experience) and we wanted to get a drink. We had our daughter with us so my wife was going to get a drink from the bar. The bartender stated that they need two IDs, which we didn t know. So my wife informed him that I would need to park the stroller. He wouldn t give her drink at first even though she had her ID and paid for our drinks. Eventually he said he would give her the drink. I was able to park the stroller with the outdoor staff and got to the bar. I stood there for a good 15 minutes with my ID out and was never acknowledged. I even held my ID up for them to see. We just grabbed the beer sitting at the bar and decided to sit down, since there were some open spots. Another 10 minutes went by and he finally acknowledged us and said we couldn t be at the bar with our daughter. Please don t make someone come in and then state they can t sit at the bar after not acknowledging them for 20
minutes. Overall things were great with the food.
Great deep dish pizza! 45 min wait was worth it! We ate outside and enjoyed the city views
Holy heck if you've never had a real deep dish pizza from Chicago you are missing out! Imagine eating a whole cheese wheel by yourself with fresh red sauce and thin crispy crust
Wonderful service. Welcoming, attentive. Lots of shady tables.
It takes time for pizza (about 45 mins), but it was great! Salad is also awesome!
Very busy ,but very attentive to it's patrons. A bit of wait to get in but was well worth it. The food is awesome!!
Gosh darn this place has some great deep dish pizza! Service was excellent! I'll definitely be back!
Good Chicago style pizza. Prudential center location close to north end of Millennial Park.
Not my greatest experience. Took 20 minutes to get a salad and the staff was rude. I will avoid that place
Long wait, and terrible service, the waiter treated us very badly.
Excellent recommendation and attention from Vicki. The original Chicago pizza super !!! Pleasant atmosphere. 100% 5 stars.
Great deep dish pizza. Good portions but a little pricey. Be prepared to wait 45mins for your order.
This is one of the best Pizza I have had. Usually a very busy place with great ambience, service and food. Their deep dish Pizza is class apart. Several options to choose from.
Super good pizza, I loved the service (although it takes pizza making). If you do not know English, ask for Vicky, she is a super cute Mexican and she will attend you great!
I visited there a few days ago and I ordered the super veggy pizza. frankly, I didn t expected the taste before I ate because some of bloggers posted the pizza taste as not good. (too much salt and the tomato sauce taste like ketchup bla bla) however it was so nice. I don t know the reason why they so different with me but I guess if they picked the veggy pizza, they might be better to tell about the taste of pizza! let s try :)
ps, I packed the pizza for take away so the cost may around $27 (include tax/ small size). it s good enough size to eat two people
Authentic Deep Dish Pizza the right way! Probably one of the finest in Chicago. You should be prepared to wait for a few minutes to get in. The crew is courteous and well trained. The order does take it's share of time to come through but it's well worth it. The pizzas being Deep Dish are on the heavy side but fulfilling at the same time. If you're craving for Pizza this is one recommended place without a doubt!
Small pizza for two is very good. Great quality-price.
The food and service is excellent. The pizza is ready and with great flavor.
This place is overrated and their pizza isn't really that special. The only major difference that I could taste was dough and the wait time that was an hour long. But the pizza was pretty good I guess.
Good food long waits. Best gluten free pizza I have had.
Wait time was incredibly bad. Was not aware of this so we had to go to another pizzeria.
Definitely not the actual most showstopping deep dish in Chicago, but quite tasty and they have a killer lunch special (personal deep dish with a side for $10). A friend ordered the thin crust - also an option with the lunch special - and they warned us it would take 20 minutes, however. Service was very friendly and this is still a quintessential Chicago stop.
All of the food is great! The world famous deep dish is the best!! The wait staff is kind and very helpful. If you don't mind a little wait for a delicious pizza to come out of an oven then your going to love it! They have a very good bar More
Real good. They make it right then and there, takes 40 minutes.
Never been a deep dish pizza type - this place gave me a new appreciation.
Gluten Free thick crust pizza!!!! We need this in Texas, please tell me your coming...
Real deal Chicago deep dish pizza, amazing crust, full of great filling
It was me and my family's first time in Chicago and I wanted the kids to have the Chicago deep dish experience. It was a great choice. I cant compare to other places. But because of the convenience of the location to the south shore line trains I dont think we will pass up a chance to come back every time we travel through.
I'm a believer that New York pizza is the best, but deep dish is so damn good. Decided to visit Chicago and these guys did an amazing job filtering through the hundreds of people that were trying to eat here. Speedy and quality service and the food was amazing. Can't wait to come back.
