Though a long wait (45 minutes from ordering) the wait was worth it. The food was amazing for a pizza that took deep dish to a new level. A small is enough to feed yourself and then some and a medium can feed multiple people. The food more than makes up for the wait and I will be returning the next time I'm visiting Chicago

The food. Amazing pizza. I went looking for a place to try Chicago style deep dish pizza and I was not disappointed. Seating was a little crowded but not awful. Only complaint on an otherwise great trip.

I finally got the chance to go to Chicago and try a true deep dish. A friend recommended Giordano's and they did not let me down. The bread sticks were nice and garlicky and the meat lovers deep dish was the bomb. I will be stopping in the next time I'm in Chicago.

If you visit Chicago, then trying deep dish pizza is a must. Of all the popular names, we got chance to savor it at this famous chain. If you are a pizza lover, it is definitely going to satisfy your taste buds. The sauce is not too tangy, crust is crumbly but the melting cheese makes it extra special.
But the 4 stars because of its insanely long waiting time( be it to-go or dine-in).
PS : Also one should order less than they usually do as it is too heavy and fills your tummy sooner coz of the loaded cheese.

Before my trip, I was highly recommended to go to this place and after eating there I know why. Food was incredibly tasty, fairly priced and well worth the 1.5hr wait time. I got the small deep dish and wings which lasted me for 3 meals so don't take this lightly.

Your pizza was awesome! Even though you were slammed when we came in and it was a crazy wait, they way the employees managed it was commendable! Next time I am in Chicago, I will be back!

Really good! If you're looking for that classic, deep-dish, Chicago-style, pizza, this is the way to go. Is a little expensive but worth it. One slice can fill a person up. Overall, if you're a tourist to Chicago, make sure you drop by and get a pizza before you leave, it'll make your experience that much better.

Yes it really is the best deep dish pizza out there! The wait times can be ridiculous, and we walked away on a number of occasions when told that a table would be 45 minutes and the pizza would take 1hr15m after ordering. However, we finally caught a break on a Tuesday evening with zero wait time for the table and about 45 minutes for the pizza. It really was worth it in the end! The photos do not do it justice. The pie crust and the quality of each ingredient was amazing. Make sure you order a smaller size than you're usually used to, as it will certainly be too much food.

We preordered our pizza so that they could get people out faster. Our waiter was very polite, fast and efficient. It takes 45 minutes once your pizza is ordered to make so preordering meant we duudnt have to wait forever to get it.

Super busy for dinner! It's understandable because it's right next to millennium park. Literally across the street. Wait was about a hour but we were able to order our pizza, sit outside & enjoy some fresh air, and then once we were seated our pizza was basically ready! You can tell the waiters are crazy busy but I could tell they were trying to do their absolute best!! It's Chicago deep dish so it's always worth the wait!

I am a pizza fanatic, I love all pizza. And Giordano's is definitely one of the greatest. They are known for their famous deep dish pizzas, but have a variety of different foods. Now my favorite thing about their pizzas is the dough they use, it's crunchy like a pizza should be, but not hard that it hurts when you eat it. One thing I'd also like to mention is that they are almost always super busy, so if you're in a rush ordering for pick up is the best way to go. And if ya wanna dine in, make a reservation ahead of time, if not, you could be waiting over an hour for a table and food.

Visiting Chicago last august as 2 french couples, we saw that this restaurant was on some tourism guides. And we belevied we could get good pizzas as we have had to wait before a table was assigned. But in fact, all of the 4 different pizzas we ordered were very common : The dough was pasty and toppings not abundant and dry. May be the head chef was on vacation ?

Summary: Pizza chain serving Chicago's signature deep dish pizza. The deep dish pizzas take a long time to cook so pre-ordering is highly recommended. The ingredients used for the pizza are pretty solid. The crusts, however, felt undercooked in the center compared to the sides. Fixing this issue may help improve the overall quality and taste of the pizza.

Recommended: The Special deep dish pizza.

- Good, worth a visit

Unbelievably good. I'm not the biggest fan of Chicago style pizza but this place is on another level. Some of the best mozzarella I've ever had. On top of that the skillet cookie was incredible on its own. Will always remember our trip to this location.

Pizza is good as always, but we placed an order online ahead of time to be ready at 5:15pm. When we arrived then, the pizza wasn t ready and we had to wait 30 minutes past when it was supposed to be ready. Very disappointing online ordering experience.

After having a deep dish at another place and ended up in disappointment, I tried a deep dish here. Apparently I did like the deep dish here much better, but I had to come here twice to get it due to the crowd and the cooking time.

However, they have gorgeous other dish such as calamari, pot pie special on Thanksgiving day, great lasagna, and many other that we could enjoy on the first visit. Suggestion: make a reservation and come 30 minutes earlier.

Chicago deep dish at its finest! The cheese pull, the buttery crust. Delicious! Don t expect to eat more than 2 pieces. We ordered a large for 5 people, a salad, and calamari. We took home 2 slices and half the salad. Sure there s a wait... put your name in and order while you wait. They will take your name and number, then text you 5m before your table is ready.

While in Chicago I wanted to try a true Chicago deep dish pizza so while we were out walking we ran into Giordano s so we went in and gave it a try. We got seated right away even through it was a Saturday night. We were told upfront by the waiter that it takes 30 to 45 minutes to cook the deep dish but all other food is about 15 minutes. The time flew by and we were eating before we know it. My husband and I shared a small and I am so glad because I was only able to eat one slice. If you love cheese you will love a deep dish pizza. The wait staff were very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was causal.

The lunch special is decent . 7 inch personal stuffed pizza with a salad for 10 bucks. And they're ready to go, so you get them quickly. It's been a while since I've eaten at Giordano's and I'm glad I went back. This Giordano's is nice and warm in the winter

Pizza was ok, mostly cheese. Be prepared to wait an extremely long time for your food. We waited over an hour and got crap wait service in between. You would think if your going to make a customer wait you would be very sure to make sure they had everything they need while waiting. We never even got a drink refill.

My deep dish personalized vegetarian pizza was amazing! Thick yeast bread crust was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I arrived at 6pm Monday night and was told upon placing my order that there was a 45 minute wait.....at 7.20pm my order finally arrived. Unfortunately I missed the night lights tour and it was my only night here
