I've had better pizzas in Chicago. Their garlic bread is amazing! The service is fine and the wait is usually long (more than 40min for me).

Waited over an hour 1/2 to be seated and pre ordered our pizzas for 12 and they brought them to us cold all pizzas very disgusted. Waitress wanted to bill us

The BEST deep dish pizza I ve ever had!! Super filling!!

Pizza at Giordano's in Chicago is a can't miss! The deep dish pepperoni is my favorite and I always wash it down with a great pitcher of beer. The ingredients are always fresh and rich, from the tomatoes and cheese to the fresh dough and toppings. The atmosphere is friendly and down-to-earth. It's a great spot for hanging with friends or family. You can also get great carry-out and delivery service. They have spots throughout the city and suburbs making it easy to access. I prefer the spots downtown because of their atmosphere and views of the city. If you're not into deep dish pizza, they have great thin crust pizza as well as sandwiches and salads. The Italian beef sandwich easily is my favorite when I'm not in the mood for pizza.

Service was among the best, the mojito was good, and you can't go wrong with Chicago-style pizza.

The ONLY complaint is the air of being rushed when you first arrive. Their is a wait for a table and over an hour for a pizza to cook. However, none of it took that long. Wait staff was grait.

We had to wait over an hour to get the pizza and didn't like it that much. Probably that is how Chicago style pizza is but didn't like it very much.

The deep dish pizza was fantastic and the service was even better!

When making my order for a carry out the employee was rude and had a bad attitude when asking about the time of wait. They told us to wait for a whole hour with an attitude and also rushed our order. I left immediately because I did not tolerate the tone of the employee s voice. I guess the employees are too busy to meet the needs of their customers. I m from NY by the way and even they have more hospitality than this.

Got there late on a Sunday night walked in and there was no hostess so we went into the bar thinking we could seat ourselves. The large female bartender walked into the bar area and said in the most hateful tone "Um, normally people wait for a hostess to seat them. Not just walk in and do whatever they want!". We explained there was no hostess around and the big ol' bartender started talking crap about us to the other customers at the bar! We complained to the manager and the manager just shrugged it off saying that's just how she is.....really?? You keep employees that treat people like that??? Horrible!

Had a wonderful evening at Giordano's. Their Deepdish pizza is amazing!!!

Not healthy but I like the deep dish with no cheese plus giardinera and spinach. A good cheat item once in a while! Convenient location too.

The wait time was my only complaint here, which was over an hour. The food was spot on and the atmosphere is what I would expect. Best pizza in Chicago!

Great pizza and a nice location around a business Park. Definitely holds up to the name of a local pizza shop. we went for the house special, which was a deep dish pizza with sausage green peppers and onions deep dish style with a tomato sauce on top and we also Italian wedge salad. the wait seems to be quite long depending on the time and date. service could be better but maybe it was just because it's Memorial Day weekend.

Giordano's is a staple pizzeria in Chicago. If you are in the Chicago area it's worthwhile. Pizza was ordered online and was delivered right to our door. Great service! We'll definitely return.

Very good deep dish pizza but even though we ordered about fifteen or more minutes before we got a table it still took more than forty five minutes to get the food.

By far the deepest deep dish pizza with two layers of cheese and packed with flavors! Having tried Lou Manalti & Gino's East Deep Dishes, Giordano's definitely wins the deep dish title, and the flavors of the pizza are really popping, especially since they guarantee that the freshest tomato's are used and not can ones. Tasting the pizza, I do not doubt this claim. However, due to the deepness and double layers of cheese, it can become a little overwhelming after a few bites. Therefore, after trying the three deep dish pizzas, this is my conclusion:

Giordano's: Bring your friends here to see what deep dish is supposed to look like and enjoy the richness of deep dish!

Lou Manaltis': Best deep dish that is not overwhelming and is enjoyable even after the second or third pieces.

Gino's East. Good pizzas and Lou's beat them out by a margin.

A little disappointed, I dare not call it a pizza, it's more like a tomato dough, it's made of 70% dough which is more or less cooked due to the quantity, we wait an hour for have one ... in short if you are hungry it is edible, but do not expect more.

Excellent pizza and staff were all very friendly and observant of empty glasses or plates. Parked curb side with electronic meter like ticket parking for$13 for 2 hours. Really enjoyed the 2 Chicago stuffed pizzas, and antipasto salad. We went with pepperoni , Canadian bacon (ham) and banana peppers. The other pizza was just cheese and yet still excellent.

Food was good, but the prep time (1 hour 20 minutes) made for a poor experience.

My family and I really enjoyed everything about our experience at Giordanos. Our drinks were kept full while we waited on our pizzas. The pizzas were delicious, and the atmosphere was great.

The signature stuffed pizza is amazing, and while you wait the 40 mins for the pizza (it may seem long, but it is DEFINITELY worth it), they have great starters.

The service is poor. Staff is rude. Staff just stands around gossiping about there relationships instead of helping customers!

Visited there to try Chicago's famous "deep dish" pizza during our first visit to Chicago. The restaurant had a nice atmosphere, the staff was friendly and courteous. We ordered a salad and a couple of deep dish pizzas. The salad was fresh perfectly seasoned.

Awesome deep dish pizza! Make sure to have a reservation and plan for 45mins cooking time :)

Amazing pizza!!! True Chicago deep dish pizza! Just FYI, u want to call ahead and order because it takes and hour for them to make 1 pizza. I wish we would ve known that.

Known for deep dish pizza..! Tried vegetarian deep dish pizza... you will enjoy it if you like extra cheese.

Appetizer platter is really good, it comes with four different appetizers.

Gluten free pizza options are also available here, they make thin crust gluten free pizza, where you can custom build to your liking!

I had an incredible time here and it was all thanks to my waitress, Tiff. She's the most charismatic and friendly waitress I've ever had. Ask for her when you come here. You won't be disappointed.

Chicago s famous deep dish pizza.We had a Vegan Pizza .The crust is thick and filled with cheese.One Medium pizza can serve 4 person.Topping are Broccoli,bell peppers and onions only. If we want we had to add extra toppings with extra charge.we had to wait 40-60 mins to get seated.we can order after 20 mins.The pizza will come after another 40 mins.Be prepared to wait for 2 hours to eat this famous delicious Pizza.

Deep dish small pizza was massive for 2 people. The cheese had a fantastic taste not bland mozzarella like most.

Very long wait time when ordering at your table so get a starter and a drink and conversation going.

We didn't order deep dish because we don't care for it. So we tried the thin crust pizza, extra cheese, mushrooms, pepperoni & onions. There were very few mushrooms & onions. The crust was like what you get with a frozen pizza. I believe I've had better frozen pizza. We would not recommend this restaurant for pizza. The cost is quite exorbitant for the quality & taste. $30 for a large plus the cost of each topping.

I wanted to get a Chicago deep dish while I was in the city visiting. I was not disappointed!! Excellent pizza and great service.

I'm a sucker for Chicago style pizza, and have been to many different pizza establishments here. I always find myself coming back to Giordano's though. Excellent, consistent pizza, great salads, and beer. The amount of cheese they put on their pizza is insane! The wait is for a table usually 30-50 minutes on a weekend, but the pizza takes 1 hour to cook, so a great time to grab a drink at the bar while you wait.

I have visited this Giordano's a few times. This past weekend has changed my mind about this particular location forever. We arrived in the evening already expecting to wait a long time. The wait time was 40 minutes. That is common for Chicago restaurants. We decided to wait because we love deep dish here in Chicago. However the host told us to order our pizza so that when we were to sit down we could have our pizza ready already. Our time came to sit down and our pizza was not ready. We were not waited on either for over an hour. We also happened to be sitting right next to the waiters station. Every waiter and waitress stared at us thinking that the next person would help us. Again, we were not helped for over an hour. This means we had no food ordered and no pizza for over an hour. By the time the waitress realized we were her table it was very late. She only offered us a free appetizer. We waited for our food for over an hour. The waitress never came back and checked to see how we were doing or if we needed anything. Needless to say we were super disappointed in our latest experience so much so that we will never visit this location again. What a disappointment.

Great classic deep dish pie, appetizers & drinks.
I don't normally like green peppers on pizza (it overwhelms the flavor), but in this thick, cheese filled deep dish pie it was amazing (CHICAGO CLASSIC - DEEP DISH Pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers & onions). Really good. I was glad to take the ample left overs from this thick, deceptively smallish pie back to my hotel fridge for a late night snack. :) But other than the pizza, the fried calamari was really above par (included fried artichoke, pepperchini, and fried lemon, yes LEMON slices). Wow.. it was awesome.. :)

BIG TIMING TIP: pay attention to peak business times and come during the lulls. The deep dish normally takes 45 minutes to bake and with the wait/delays at peak times you can expect to pre-place your order and still sit at the bar for 1.5-2hrs before your deep dish arrives (though appetizers will make it out in 10 minutes).

I went here to try my 1st real deep dish pizza and it was great the bartender was a guy and I didn't catch his name but he was on point with suggests and made the night with the great tasting drinks!

Customer service was good despite being a busy spot in heart of downtown. Taste of Pizza not good enough as compared to branch at Navy Pier and Oak Park.

Was treated very well by host staff and wait staff. We got our food promptly and had some of their famous Deep Dish Pizza. Needless to say... It was delicious!
