Great for walks, jogs or playing frisbie...nice view at the top of the parliament hill.
Gorgeous and the open air swimming ponds are brilliant hard to believe we were in one of world's busiest cities
Incredibly nice park and have lived next door to it all my life and would most definitely advise anyone looking for a great picknick space or day trip out to go to here as has children's park and paddling pool mostly accessible and open during the summertime seasons and not as much in the winter, it has a running track and next door a older park used for after school clubs, birthdays and during the holidays a club space for older children to go to. Furthermore there is the resoundenly known lido built when the park was becoming up and running with more and more people using it! Has great facilities across the park with huge amounts of space to explore and get lost in and of course to run free in! From woods to play areas and country hills to walking spots with flower spaces, in addition to lakes and ponds scattered across the park with sports activities such as tennis and more!
One of my favourite parks in London. Huge. Gets very muddy during autumn/winter so make sure you are wearing suitable attire. Perfect for dog walking though I recommend keeping your dog on a leash if it's recall isn't so good or use a tracking device as this place is heaven for your furry friend.
Just a great place to enjoy a moment away from the stresses of London streets
Very good park a place for family and great for dogs my pups love it here especially in the summer it's the best
One of my favourite spots in London. Perfect place to go for a long walk. Great if you have a dog or just want to go dog spotting. Such a nice big open space, you can always discover new parts of it.
Beautiful feels like you've escaped far from the madding crowd to the country even though you're in London
One of the best parks in London. You get away from it all here
Great place for families on hot days. Watch out for phone thieves though
Get lost in this vast open space. Highlights are Parliament Hill and Kenwoood House in the springtime.
Great morning/afternoon with family /friends away from the city
It's a beautiful place with a nice trail for quiet walking and just opens your mind
Always a great place to walk and swim in the lakes. Great for dogs too and they have a specific dog lake to play in.
Hampstead heath is just a gem, a really beautiful place to visit and spend time.
My favourite park in london. It is a mix between look after green grass and the woody look like spots that look more unspoiled. Great for a picnic or simply a morning run. It's out of the main touristic tracks so more locals in that sense. Hampstead heath is quite hilly in some points which allows for a gorgeous view point into the city. In the summer months the lakes in the park are opened for swimmers. What not to like about the heath!!
Huge park more like an expanse of countryside in London. Amazingly, can get crowded at certain times.
Always nice to visit the woods and flower garden in this place
An amazing and very historical park, just read about the history of the place and it will come alive in your imagination. Best park in London.
Sunday strolls or Picnics in the sun - its the best spot to chill
Magnificent natural large open space in North London.
I love the heath... the one thing in london that doesn't change
Tree forest, plus skyscraper forest in the background
Always loved Hampstead Heath. It is a really special place in north London. It is a very welcoming area, and there is just so much to visit. It's quite a large area, good for a hike!
Great open spaces that offer beautiful views of east, central and west London. Plenty of space to get lost in or to enjoy a picnic with friends.
A nice walk uphill and calm spot to view the cityscape.
Glorious autumn day at kenwood nothing more heavenly than a walk in the autumn sunshine. Beats antidepressants any day
Really amazing place to have a day out in the woods, on the hill. Look forward to seeing the fall colours soon!
Huge park with a swimming pond. Flats and inclines. Plenty of cute corners. Amazing views
Perfect setting beautiful gardens excellent art delightful famous house.
Lovely park with stunning views of city from Parliament Hill. Lakes for swimming. Kenwood House is great for a light lunch or afternoon tea. House is FREE! Donations only. Stunning paintings. Relaxed atmosphere. Have been several times now!
One of the best things in London. Simply outstanding. A must for any visit.
Best place to swim in summer, busy ponds tho, must go very early
Great place for a stroll, a run, a date, tanning session, picnic, a swim, dog walk, and whatever else your imagination can conjure (all in peace) It's as open air as I've seen in any part of London so you'll definitely catch a nice breath. Enjoy!
Our favourite park in London for great views and walks through the different woods and open meadows
Beautiful park, that's large with many many tracks to lead you to places. There's small ponds/lido to swim in and dogs are usually in leashes
Best park in NW bit crowded on the weekend, bit still worth it
Giant natural reserve park with roads and lakes and ponds for boats and fishing! A nice Restaurant for the family and the best view from London!
Very spacious park with a lido and track also a small water park for kids. Good for hikes beautiful view from the top of the hill.
Love love love this park. One of the best in the world
Great park with plenty of amenities from outdoor swimming to Kenwood House and is popular with the locals. This is an amazing asset for London. The view from the hill is great too!
a great view, so refreshing, we loved it, had such a nice walk on the heath.
It's okay but a little too busy for me and loads of dogs without a leash.
Still beautiful and picturesque as ever. Plenty of nooks and crannies to get lost in and more than enough space for people to socially distance without any issues. As of the 1st August the toilets are still all closed and the water fountains are understandably switched off. Just be prepared if you require water or indeed the opposite...
Walked round the ponds and slightly off main paths. Gorgeous.
This place is great, such a wide range of people and things to do
A unique Park with a pond where they perform Symphony Orchestra throughout the summer with various musicians. There is of course the elevated height which shows the entire Central London in its full glory in a sunny day not to mention the fact there are English Heritage buildings where it has been used for decades for making movies the most famous man being Notting Hill with Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant.
Beautiful and peaceful day out convenient to Hampstead Village and transport links. Many historic houses in the area.
