A lot of mysterious and strange things happen in Hampstead Heath I have heard. For that reason escape before the sun goes down, or stay at your own peril. Other than that, a lovely place, especially in the summer.

Outstanding scenery, amazing for walks and great photo opportunities.

You can never go wrong with a visit to the Heath. A great open space in the city that's not over crowded like the more central parks and there is parking nearby (paid parking). There are many picturesque nooks and crannies to uncover too.

Lovely and huge park with several swimming and non swimming ponds. This park can be enjoyed all year round, be it during summer by sunbathing and having a picnic in front of a lake or during colder seasons, where you can have long walks and enjoy the fresh air.

If you re into birds, there are plenty of lovely ducks scattered along the park.

If you re into farmer s markets, there s a pretty good one held on Saturday mornings.

One of my favourite parks in london. Big enough for a 2 hour hike.

Lovely and quite for once at Kenwood House ! Also there was a half price deal o food and drink..

Lovely views especially from Parliament Hill, great for jogging, going for walks or having tea or something a bit more filling up at Kenwood.

Great place for walking. Trekking shoos or wellies required.

Love hampstead heath - really feels like you've gotten away from the city, even though you are not far and can get great views from the top of Parliament Hill. Lots of lovely walks, and in the Autumn, it is a great place to see the turning leaves.A good place to visit in all weather - I do like it on a cold and damp day because there is generally no one else around! Kenwood house is worth a visit for the famous paintings - great that it is free of charge now! They also do a good breakfast in the cafe.

A beautiful place to stay on the green laws and relaxing all day.

Best park in London. Hands down. Nothing compares, especially if you want/need the feeling of the country in the Big Smoke. Fantastic for walks, runs, biking, etc.

Green country side place with peace and vast greenery.

Tried to get into the Lido, was unsuccessful. Poor organisation. Loved the park

Beautiful, you forget that you are in London. Very well maintained massive park with loads of spots to hang out and relax. Definitely a must if you enjoy the outdoors

Very busy and bad traffic. If you don't know the roads then you could stuck for a long time. Roads are not as good as they should. Poor council work around.

A great place to go swimming outdoors if you live in North London.

Good,wide,open space,excellent for all sorts of recreation;long walks,walking the dog,pickniking,sun-bathing,running,jogging or other work-out,etc. Very well maintained and cultivated.

Great place for a quick swim! shame there are not lockers but the people is nice enough so everyone takes care of other's stuff! lovely!!

One of my favourite places in london. If you visit you must go to the pergola, and parliament hill, also see the deer and peacocks as well as the flower garden in Golders Hill park.

This is my part of London, acres of parkland, swimming lakes, quiet pubs, it seems like a lifetime from the hustle and bustle we associate with our capital .

I just walked through but there are plenty of cafes and shops such as cafe rouge, waterstones , case art , jigsaw ,snappy snapps , gap and gap kids ,goldfish and much more.

Easy to each park just outside London zone 1. Lots of different types of walk, with some decent views both of the park and well known London landmarks. Parliament Hill is a short walk from Gospel Oak station.

The perfect Park for a Sunday walk. Many nice trees and flowers. You can walk through the forest or above the grassland or relaxing at the small beautiful lakes. The Kenwood house is nice located. There is a shop where you can buy coffee and small snacks.

A beloved place. Nice to wander, picnic, rest and read a book stroll with friends befire heading to lunch or brunch in Hampstead S real haven...I love it!

Local park and its huge highly recommended plus there are ponds to swim in if you want.
