London's best park. It's the antithesis to the endless football fields and perfectly manicured gardens that encompass most of London's limited green space. Ancient trees and dirt paths make up the most pleasant of the heath's space. Cleared areas at the highest points provide for a fantastic and popular view, easily beating out competing viewpoints.

Make sure not to miss the pergola to the west and, for those willing to brave the chilled water, the lido.

Every time I come here I fall in love with this place all over again, the birds, the whistling wind in the leaves, feeling like you're lost deep in a forest, the flower gardens, the views... it's a totally different experience of London.

Just stunning! This park is the greatest spot for those who love nature. You can recharge, forget about everything and get far away from the daily routine and city fuss just by walking around the green paths and breathing. It s majestic!

Lovely but busy green space that seemingly goes on forever. There are three public ponds. A women only, men only and mixed/family pond. There is limited locker space at each pond and entrance is only via the dedicated points, not the banks. There is a small fee for using the ponds, but they have been known to let it slide if you don't have any cash with you, just make sure you bring some next time. Excellent view from parliament hill, just don't expect to see parliament from it. The Heath can be hilly in locations so plan accordingly with those less able.

It's a very nice place to visit and loads of space but just as many people and I mean everywhere you go is someone which is kinda rubbish if you want peace and quiet without being stared at every 5 minutes but for a large area to sit or walk a pet it's perfect..
It's worth a look and maybe when I went was just busy but I think it's one of the only open spaces in the area so be aware

The heath is a lovely way to have a bit of a refresh from the hectic city of London, and a very nice place to spend some time with the family. If you have a camera, make sure to bring it with you because there will definitely be some nice photography opportunities.
Just bare in mind that the heath is full of plants so for those who suffer from hay fever(I suffer from it quite a lot at this time of year) you should take an anti allergy pill or something before you go.

Hampstead Heath is in my opinion, the absolute best place to run in London. It simply has everything, trails, beautiful buildings, a garden, parkland, hills and lakes. Whilst Richmond Park may be the larger park, Hampstead Heath is without a doubt the best for running and exploring (not to mention far more central). Was cool to see one of the Marvel films being shot there this past weekend!

Amazing relaxing place contemplating London!

Amazing relaxing place contemplating London!
Parliament Hill is a must. But the whole place feels amazing and is very well looked after. It is more a forest with open lawns and ponds, than a park as compared to Hyde Park.

Parliament Hill is more beautiful by night, but the park itselt has no lighting, so I wouldn't advise anybody to go there alone. Although, the police do drive through the park periodically.

The most beautiful park in London. In many areas you feel you're in the middle of the country side when in fact you're in the middle of the city. Almost empty during week days yet busy over the weekend.
