From the views to the space, no other park in London will make you feel as lost in the countryside as Hampstead Heath. An incredible place to bring, friends, family, kids and grandparents. Cannot praise highly enough.

Love this place, I've had some great walks there. However parking is getting expensive there to go and walk your dog, especially when you don't live in Hampstead. 5 years ago it was cheaper in their car park. However if you go to the Royal Free Hospital, it's cheaper to park by Hampstead Heath, than in the hospital's car park!

Not sure how you review a Heath, it's going to be muddy if it's Autumn of winter and probably spring, certainly early spring.

Kenwood House has great art if you are interested in galleries and free.

Great big open space, flats and hills. Always a few people about either hiking around or walking dogs. Few large open green areas for kicking a ball around or lite flying. Playground for kids I'd say up to 5/6 which also has a free paddling pool which is great in the summer. Toilets in the playground for both male and female too. Few workout areas along one side of the heath and close to plenty of public transport points. Every year has a fair which pops up with the usual rides etc.

Of all the park areas in London Hampstead Heath probably is the best at making you feel you're not in the city. From areas you can't really see or hear London which is pretty special. Great for running and exercise, or just going out to enjoy something green.

It was a beautiful park, house and grounds, however, I visited at round 11am on Sunday and it was so busy at every turn, I could here multiple conversations. Less busy would be far more pleasurable.

One of London's loveliest walks. Great any time of year. Just remember if you're travelling from abroad, big parks (and this one is BIG) in London can be muddy unless there have been 3 or 4 dry sunny days beforehand. I'd take a picnic as there's no food stands on the Heath. Go to Hampstead tube on the northern line and walk towards the park through historic suburbs full of blue plaques and history. Sadly, very sadly, the Heath itself is not easily accessible for wheelchair users or people who can't walk far. Go to Kenwood House while you're here for World class art and a nice lunch, cup of tea or even an ice cream. I'd allow at least 3 hours to visit the Heath - and if you've got kids or fancy a good trek, you could easily spend a day here. Seek out Parliament Hill for a great view of Central London. Lovely. (but AVOID if it's raining).

A lovely green space in the North of London. It's like a Richmond Park without the deer. Sprawling hills that are great to lie on with a picnic and the park is home to Kenwood Manor which is delightful to visit for a cup of tea as well. There are lots of trails through the woods and the park offers a few lidos for those that fancy a swim.

Hampstead Heath has paths that can lead to a tree covered quiet wilderness, open fields of long grass and beautiful deep ponds. There are people walking dogs, playing with children also deep in conversation or walking alone enjoying the space. Kenwood House has many fascinating paintings and a very pleasant cafe and courtyard. A precious place in busy London.
