Great big open space, flats and hills. Always a few people about either hiking around or walking dogs. Few large open green areas for kicking a ball around or lite flying. Playground for kids I'd say up to 5/6 which also has a free paddling pool which is great in the summer. Toilets in the playground for both male and female too. Few workout areas along one side of the heath and close to plenty of public transport points. Every year has a fair which pops up with the usual rides etc.
