Cant go wrong with the amazing heath, great place to walk, run or chill with friends. There is nothing better then enjoying the sun with some friend or taking a dip in the public swimming lakes

Be in the country in the middle of the city. Good views out over the city, open grounds with room for the dogs to run and shaded woods to relax and contemplate. There are even swimming ponds if you're in the mood and the weather obliges.

Lovely area, great for the whole family and the dog. Wild in parts, manicured in others. Natural swimming ponds for those so inclined. Nice pubs on all sides of the heath and Golders green, for after that long walk. Hampstead high street is close by with a choice cafes, restaurants, and patisserie's

Lovely natural space with a wonderful view of the distant cityscape to boost. But I ve got to emphasis the need to wear waterproof shoes/boots during your visiting especially if you wish to wander along the hidden paths. Otherwise, a true gem in the concrete urbanity.

One of my favourite places in London. This park is enormous. The landscape is hilly with beautiful views. All year round swimming is available in ponds. Outdoor gym, running track are situated near the south side. Kenwood house is great place for families.

Huge and ranging park with plenty to do, quiet areas for a chilled hangout, three outdoor swimming areas, so many dogs, lots of foresty paths to wander off on, great viewing points and plenty of hills. The perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon or have a morning walk. Plenty of pubs and restaurants all around

Its very easy to get to using the overground train, then get off at gospel walk. Only about 3 minutes walk from the station. Has a secret garden which is used for school educational trips. Nicecplacecfor a picnic or just a stroll in the park.

Biggest foresty park in London! Great escape from the busy streets if you are just using local transport or bycicle.
Lot's of areas with beautiful trees and good perspective on London panorama from the Parliament hill.

It has 3 ponds, which are open entire year: male, female and mixed. If there's no other choice, great way to spend a hot day. But be adviced, even though they are separated by gender - you'd have to share it with local birds (and other wild animals). Water is also standing (i.e. no rivers to bring fresh and take old).

Quite and well maintained park. A bit of everything for everybody : a small collection of animals, great kids games and nice flower garden in the corner. The visitors were - for some reason and our great luck - a mix of very individuals with many age groups.

Ideal for a little break form the noise of London!

I use the car park while attending the Royal Free Hospital. It's much less expensive that the hospital parking and you have more chance of getting parked. You also benefit from the walk to the hospital via the gladed path and if lucky you may even spot the local parakeets.

One of my favourite places to walk - from the heath to the pergola, through Golders Hill and on to Golders Green for a bite to eat. Another one of London's (better known) gems. Always worth a visit.

I do like this park. It's a nice place to walk your dog play with your kids have a run etc. It has nice cafes to sit and enjoy the park and an amazing food market each Saturday. So it's worth having lunch or just a snack or something sweet there.

On one side you have a large open space, fields of greenery that stretches out yonder across the boroughs. On the other side towards Golders Green you have a less travelled woodland-like area that is akin to a tamer part of a forest. Take your pick as to which side you'd prefer by parking near Kenwood House and going in either direction. Lovely place to visit, right in the middle of some of the nicest areas of London. Enjoy.
