I have received nonstop messages and phone calls from this company asking to speak with someone I havent remotely heard of. I have explained to them several times that they have the wrong number, have emailed their customer support team explaining the same and for them to remove it from their system. Needless to say they did not do this and I was left with no other choice but to call the company direct. After explaining all the above to the dimwitted representative who answered the call, he asked for my name so he could remove my number from his system. Where is the logic in that? Having explained a second time why I was calling and why he doesn t need my name I think I finally got my number removed. SO MUCH HARD WORK FOR SUCH A SIMPLE ERROR!

Very nice people to deal with. The money was there when they said it would be and everything is affordable

Charlotte was helpful and professional and supported me throughout the process ensuring I knew what I was doing and I understood the consequences and options available. She answered questions and I had the money in my bank before the end of the work day. I was able to select the repayment day within the month. Thank you Charlotte. What a waste of an hour of my time.... told to go for these as it accepts my situation and been accepted get a guarantor then they need a bank statement then I get told I don t meet the criteria.... they knew my circs the first time I was put into contact with them what a waste.... awful customer service wouldn t recommend them to anyone

I've taken a loan with these guys. They were quick, simple to use and when speaking to them had great customer service and were very helpful. If you're after a loan then I would very much recommend them.

Absolutely terrible. I am a guarantor for a loan. Every time my friend misses a payment by a day they harass me for payment. Even when my friend speaks to them. They do not communicate or look at their system updates before they call and email demanding the money. They are bullies. Never use this company.

Would give a 0 if I could. Probably spent at least 2 hours in all on hold on the phone. Had to call them 5 times as they were useless at calling me. I spend ages applying online, had to call them up to go over details. I emailed them my proof of work. Said everything was fine and they would send me terms and conditions. Took them 2 days to do that, I signed and gave them my bank details and a day later nothing was in my account so I called them up and they said they couldn't give me a loan because I was in a risky job, being in hospitality. I gave them my job title on the initial application so I have now wasted hours on the phone, given them all my details and waited weeks for contact that I ended up having to do. Complete waste of time on my end and theirs. Should just say in their website that you can't get it on furlough or if you work in hospitality which would have been fine if they hadn't waited a month to tell me after i spent hours getting in touch with them and signing contracts. I am very very disappointed and it has nothing to do with the money, just wasting my time.

I found them easy to deal with and was guided through the process step by step. Once the loan was approved, the funds were there within hours. Would not hesitate to recommend them

The lady who managed my loan was lovely and very professional. Money in my account the same day as promised. However, lack of communication and poor customer service since been very disappointing. Never reply to any of my correspondence. However they thought it was ok harass me with texts and emails when trying to make arrangements due to loss of earnings.

Jumped through all the hoops and was approved for the loan; e-signed the documentation at 4pm on the Wednesday and was assured that money would be in my account by close of play that day; it wasn t - rang on Thursday morning and was assured it would be in my account by 1pm; it wasn t - rang at 1.20 and was told it would probably be in my account later that day; guess what - it wasn t. When I chased again on Friday morning with still no sign of the funds I was told it was apparently due to system issues . Made alternative arrangements elsewhere (sorted and paid within hours) and told George Banco to keep their non-existent money.

How can people say they offer a good service. Don't ever be a guarantor with these people. If the loanee defaults they will pursue and hound you relentlessly on a daily basis. One star only because zero is not possible.

After asking for a payment break and having to justify not only myself but my guarantor for the break, given the current situation with the lockdown and being laid off and eventually getting the break. George banco still went ahead and withdrew the payment for this month from my guarantors account.

Fuming is an understatement.

Absoloutely appalled. They agreed to my loan was happy with my guarantor everything was going through. They even offered me more to help than what I had asked. To then get a text to say sorry your loan application has been declined. So they had all mine and my guarantors details had my hopes up that I finally got help for them to snatch it away with a click of a finger and no explanation as of why. I refuse to ring them as i called so many time yesterday and each call took 45minutes to get through. So not only has it wasted my time and phone bill its now added extra stress.

Stay as far away as possible, I read the reviews and thought no give them a chance it could be a one off. But seriously stay AWAY!!!!!

George Banco are loan sharks, a joke company. They have illegally taken money from my account, after the loan had finished, and now refusing to pay back, return calls or apologise. They are being reported to the Financial Ombudsman and the Police for theft.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Do not use this loan company, my partner is a guarantor for a loan and is constantly hounded for payments even though its not his loan.
What they are doing cannot be legal ringing at all hours, constant emails and letters. No payment has ever been missed.
The peoples loan company! They don't care about causing stress and upset to families.

I would touch this company with a badge pole, I am a guarantor for my step daughter. They say when you contact them they don't have records.
They also advise when you make a payment on the system it doesn't go through, then ask for a manual payment. You make the payments then advise hasn't been paid, when you got proof and send to them, then they don't contact you until sending a threatening letter.
I am taking legal advice at the moment, so if you want a loan stay well clear.

I would never recommend this firm to anyone.. the worst bunch of fraudsters on the market. If you miss a payment and you dont contact them immediately they will illegally find out information on the internet and contact you through email address and phones numbers that you didn't give permission for anyone to use..please consider Amigo Loans or another guarantor loan provider for your loan needs in the future.

This company is rude, inconsiderate and there communications is the worst I've ever seen/herd of from a "professional company" . I will be going to the FCA with this info and seeing if there is any injustice here because im pretty sure there is

What a bunch of con artists, I'm seeking legal advice. I had 1500 remaing on my original loan which I already paid interest on, I then barrow another 3500 and they charge me interest on 5k, so I paid interest on 1500 twice, but they don't tell you that, nor does it state that in the contract. Stay well away , they are the worse loan company out there. Lies ,deception and try to make u more in debt by messaging you every 2 weeks to top up so that they can make double interest . I will take legal action against these .

My rating is actually one star but I know itll get buried. I was asked to provide bank statements plus work ids to have my application denied and my info sold. Ive recieved over ten unsolicited calls from "sales people" since my application was denied avoid this company at all costs unless you want to be inundated with random calls

The absolute worst. Please avoid George Banco, I took out a loan with them as at the time, due to my circumstance the were the only company offering one.

I wish I had never started with them. Every month without fail they pest both myself and my Guarantor. Multiple calls and texts for days after payment has been made. I refuse to store my card with them as in the past they have taken a double payment and this was such a hassle to get back.

I have changed jobs a few times (to better paid jobs) during my loan, each time when I contact them to make an arrangement for alternative payment dates, this seems to be fine, until the date that the original payment would have come out, then all the calls, texts and emails start again.

Their "Customer Service" is shocking, absolutely skill-less, very rude and inconsiderate of peoples personal situations. I get that they are running a business, but when other loan company are a lot more flexible I find it strange that George Banco are so ridged.

I would rate a 0 Stars like others, but I am not able to.

George Banco Ltd have helped me out so much to manage my finances much better. Their customer service advisors were all very friendly and always happy to help with any queries. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

Incredibly quick to process my loan - from the first initial contact to depositing the funds took less than a few hours. Very professional and friendly agent who dealt with my application. Simple and clear terms and conditions. Would 100% recommend and will definitely use this company again!
