There is not a better built pool ! Still looks great 8 years later ... Service department is great and any questions or replacement equipment parts , Rosindo is the best ! Very knowledgeable and makes the pool ownership experience enjoyable! In today's busy world , it is hard to find a company with associates like Rosindo that truly care !

Fast effective service. I was having problems with my pump and called Gary Pools. They scheduled me very quickly and the service tech Kieth had my pool fixed up in a jiffy. I even had them take care of the light on the spa while he was there. He pointed out a gas leak and told me to have it fixed and then they would be able to work on my heater.

James Madrid takes care of our pool. He s very knowledgeable and friendly. He does a great job! We have equipment that can get fussy and a lot of trees with leaves. He takes care of it all thoroughly and consistently. We had a great guy, Chris, for many years with this company, and a few newbies for a couple of months this past year that were not so great until we got James. That s the only reason I didn t give 5 stars. But everyone has to start somewhere, and the company did address our concerns fairly quickly.

Ed who services our pool every week is incredible! Our pool has never looked this good. Very reliable and knowledgeable. So glad we have this service.

Our pool was built in 2000 and always we had the best experience with Gary Pools. I would definitely use them in the future.

Gary built the pool in 2005 and we have used their pool services in the past and have been pleased until recently. The service department has gone to crap. I wanted to discuss the work and feedback a tech provided in December 2014. I to spoke to the manager Brian Diver once and he stated he would have to research the incident and then call me back but never did. I have called repeatedly leaving messages with some female that states "he just left" or "will be ion the field all day but I will have him call you when he's back in the office" My inquiry if he had a cell phone he can use just got more " he'll call you when he can " I contacted the manger by email and still have not been given the courtesy of a call.
Very disappointing, their service department was phenomenal for years but no longer. Noticed looking over the google reviews their overall ratings seem consistent with my observation the company has changed for the worse.

Ron is great! This is the first time I've had a pool to maintain, and I'm so happy that Ron and Gary Pools is there every week to keep my pool sparkling clean and pool pump humming.

I can't say enough positive things about the team at Gary Pools! We had a wonderful experience with them. Pete designed our dream pool! He listened to everything that was important to us and made a beautiful pool within our budget. Steve was our foreman throughout the construction process. His weekly updates always kept us in the loop. He was incredibly responsive when we had questions. Brandon has been with us every step of the way through the transition process. He is very informative and attentive. He is knowledgeable and has been such an important part of our transition from construction to pool fun. This whole team has really gone above and beyond and made the process of building a pool amazing!

I live out if state and was headed to San Antonio to visit my father for a summer family retreat. My father had been having troubles with his pool and was going to be out if town the week before our arrival. In order to assure the pool was good to go when my family and I arrived at my father s house I called Gary Pools to trouble shoot the problem and provide remedy. Gary Pool s management understood our need over the phone and sent their tech RJ over the next day to trouble shoot and provide remedy. RJ was awesome. He called me from my father s back yard with remedy, timeframe to get the pool back in shape, and followed up with my father when he returned home. When my family and I arrived from 3 states away we could not have been more pleased. Thank you RJ and the rest of the Gary Pool s team for the responsive, secure, polite and courteous service. Great job!

We highly recommend Gary Pools after our recent pool renovation. The company was responsive and worked closely with us throughout the planning process and the renovation work. While pool renovation is an expensive endeavor, we feel we got our money s worth based on the end result. Our new pool is beautiful!

We had our pool completed this year just in time for summer as they estimated. My family absolutely loves it and we have been in it so much that I swear we are growing gills. My daughter s favorite spot is on the steps into the pool so she can read and still be cool and my son loves to sit under the jacuzzi s overflow so he gets the hot water on his shoulders and the coolness of the pool water. We couldn t be happier all thanks to Gary s Pool and Patio.

We ve been working with Chris Freeland for a while now. We went into contract to build and we re delayed several months because our house was delayed. He continued to check on us and was sincere.
He s personable, professional and listens. Something some other designers didn t or don t do. When we said it was go time, he did everything to assist us with updating all plans and contracts and getting scheduled to execute our dig and deliver our dream pool. I can t say enough good things about him. Gary pools seems to be a highly respectable company who takes pride in their associates, abilities, equipment and products. We look forward to continued great reviews as our process is finished. Thank you Chris for taking all the stress off of an over stressed family.

Selected Gary Pools over Keith Zars and so far thru the early pre & post sales experience from design & pricing with Jason to permit & HOA pulling & initial lawn measurements it has all gone far above my expectations! I'll update as the project progresses thru the dig & installation phases, but so far I've been very impressed!

Not only did he do a shoddy repair job on a fill line but also put my filters in incorrectly and broke them all. Now not only do I have the 600 plus dollars they charged me but I have to pay for a whole brand new set of filters. This has to be the worst pool company in San Antonio

Ashley and Katelyn promptly returned my call and they dispatched JR to repair our equipment that had failed due to freezing water from the blast of winter. We had to rework our waterfall that a prior contractor neglected to do correctly. We worked with Gabe Hodge and the crew from Gary Pools. We were very pleased with their professionalism and knowledge. They were able to trouble-shoot and correct our issues. Gabe kept in contact with us throughout the process and followed up after the crew was done. The crew kept our pool area and yard clean. Gabe was able to address all of our concerns and completed the job in a timely manner. We would certainly recommend Gary Pools and Gabe for any renovation pool work.

I had a great experience from beginning to end at Gary's Pool and Patio. I came in after shopping other fiberglass pool companys and realized that GPP offered the best product on the market, Viking Pools. My sales person was nice and very knowledgable. They follow up with me and gave me a great deal. During installation everything that was promised was provided. 45 days later I am now enjoying my pool. The whole team is great and I would recommend GPP to anyone in the market for a fiberglass pool.

Gary pools did a great job on the remodel/repair on my pool. After my former pool company failed me miserably, Gary pools stepped in and did the job I needed. Thanks to Manuel and his team for coming every day and completing the work in a timely manor. Thank you to Gary Pools entire team for making this a great experience in customer service!

My pool was in major disaster mode and needed a major overhaul years ago. So I finally got down to business and did my research and got the best bang for my buck. I think they did a good job; this is one of those jobs that is hard to determine because it takes a long time --years, actually to know if the job was done right.
However from a superficial perspective (keeping in mind that the state my pool was in to begin with, was horrendous!), it looks really great. We had some reservations about the time frame, but Gary was true to his word and finished on schedule. Thank you Gary for giving me back a pool I can swim and walk in that doesn't make me cringe!

RJ with Gary Pools did an excellent job on our project. The recent freeze took a toll on our pool, requiring repairs to the piping and pump. RJ was punctual, friendly, and attentive to detail. He/Gary Pools is at the top of our list for future services! Thanks, RJ!

Our service guy Frank Layman at Gary Pools has been dependable and very knowledgeable about keeping our pool maintained. Give him a bonus for excellent customer service! Gary Pools has taken care of all of our issues quickly when we have needed repairs. We recommend this company.

Beware of this company, they were very friendly when we met with the salesman, selected the pool and had an expeditious start to the pool in early March. They dug the pool in a day and brought the pool out and set it in the hole a few days later. Shortly after that, everything came to a grinding halt. It is now July 16th and we still do not have a completed pool. Their concrete guy has given every excuse under possibly as to why they have not completed the work. We did have some rain, which slowed things up, but we are now almost 5 months into an install that was supposed to take 3 to 6 weeks for completion.

They are terrible at communication and the pool looks like a green cesspool of bugs and dead reptiles. I have very little faith that they will complete the work in any way that will be acceptable to my family.

Our kids are so happy! They just love the waterfall. The job was done in a timely manner and everyone was very nice!

Very confusing as to whether of not they service spas. They sent me to another location the they claimed was the right place but it wasnt. Wild goose chace. Wound up using a different company all together.

We have a vacation rental home and had an issue with our pool. Andy came out to check the filter, laterals and sand. He took the time to show us how he made his evaluation on our equipment and even educated us on how to operate and evaluate the equipment ourselves. Andy has come to the house on other occasions when we have had guests in the house to work on handrails, etc. He is thorough and trustworthy. We feel very comfortable having him to the house whether we are there or not and feel confident he will make the best recommendations as if he would for his very own pool. Thanks Andy!

We've been very happy with our experience thus far with Gary Pools and our design rep, Chris Freeland. Within two days of coming out for the initial visit for an estimate, he had a beautiful design pulled together for us based on our vision and wants. We had a lot of questions and worked in some changes... Chris is super responsive, flexible and always professional. He worked hard to get us within our budget while incorporating as many of the design elements we are wanting for our backyard oasis. We Definitely recommend this company and especially Chris as your sales rep. He stays in touch but is never ever pushy. We had several other bids but his professionalism and responsiveness is what helped us make our final decision to move forward with Gary Pools.

Brandon, delivered like a G! I'm a 1st time pool owner and had a million questions. I got about 14 mins through youtube tutorials and couldn't sit through the long winded intros about smashing the subscribe button etc. Googled "BEST Pool Care Company San Antonio" and Brandon answered. Fast/responsive/PRO. Got me everything I needed over the phone. HIGHLY recommend!

Their drivers are irresponsible and dangerous out on the road. As I was heading East on Isom right by the overpass on 281, about to go through the GREEN LIGHT; a white Chevy Silverado runs the red light heading West and turns to go onto the access road heading South along 281. I honk, and the driver flips me off! White male, with a beard and polo collared shirt. I used to do profiling and details of people just stand out. As I look at his logo, I am beyond disbelief since Gary Pools is a large, family owned company here in San Antonio. I would have never expected such outcome from a company that thrives in great customer service. With that kind of attitude towards strangers on the road, not sure if their demeanor is any different with customers.

****NOTE: I reached out to Ms. Tassie, and she informed me that she spoke to the driver and has taken corrective actions. I do appreciate a business that follows up on the reviews and addresses the issues.

I went into Gary s Pool 8 hours before a pool party. It was the worst situation I could think of. My pool had become cloudy. I'm not talking murky; I'm talking about 25,000 gallons of milk. As I told them about my problem, they were on the phone with Pat, the owner.

He immediately knew how to fix the problem and recommended some products that would help. I bought the products and was ready to walk out the door when the nice, friendly ladies behind the counter asked me for my address.

When I asked why, they informed me that they were so concerned about our situation that a tech was personally coming out to show me some tricks to help clear up our water faster.

Sure enough, he came out to my house and personally helped me clear up the pool. The best part was, the pool was clear an hour before the party. I wholehearted recommend this company. They have gone above and beyond what any company should do to make sure I was a satisfied customer.

Arrived with full set of equipment, fixed it, and were done in 45 minutes!

How refreshing to have a conscience and reliable pool builder who definitely watches out for customers best interest. No game playing or corners cut by this team. We commissioned a pool by Gary s Pool and Patio after our kids were grown a little so we didn t have to be burdened by the worry of safety issues. We met with a designer who showed us so many options that were right in style with us. They had us take samples home but didn t overwhelm us with choices. They really were exceptional people to work with.

The pool s construction is still underway and the technicians know how to keep to the schedule. The workers clean up every day and I love watching the daily progress of it all. A BIG thank you to Gary s Pool and Patio for they are the real deal!

Gary Pools built my pool two years ago. Working with the design team was a pleasure, working through changes to assure we got the final product we desired. Construction was timely, allowing for weather, change orders, etc. Matt, the construction supervisor was great to work with. I appreciated his patience and courtesy as I made several change while in progress. He made those changes happen.
Once constructed, there was a learning curve for the operating system. Katelyn, in service, was courteous, often able to resolve issues over the phone,and if not, promptly dispatched technician Andrew who is very knowledgeable, courteous, and takes time to explain the issues and how to resolve.
I took pride in maintaining my pool and keeping it clean, balanced and beautiful. I recently contracted Gary Pools to maintain my pool. SoPhol in maintenance made the process easy and maintains communication to assure customer satisfaction.. Pool tech Blake G. elevated my pool from nice and clean to pristine. Blake not only maintains my pool at an exceptional level, he is courteous, professional, and he is very personable, engaging when out paths meet. He is dependable. I have no concerns that my pool will be properly maintained and serviced on. A regular basis. Thanks to Gary Pools management for recognizing and retaining quality personnel.

Way too expensive and took 2 weeks just to send us the bid after waiting 2 weeks to be able to get on their schedule...
updated: the owner contacted me and had the rep provide the break down of services and pricing as I had originally requested VS a lump sum amount. I am in the process of getting additional bids ti compare the prices to ensure I am getting equal or like bids on the services I am looking into. Leaf also offered an apology and is willing to discount if needed based off the other quotes. Thank you for caring and taking the time to contact me.

My husband and I are in the market for a pool and have been trying to get an estimate from Gary Pools for a month. Every time we call, we re told we re really busy right now. Someone will call you in a few days. No phone call so far! Our neighbor is having a pool built by them, so he reached out to his salesman and asked him to call us. Did he? Nope! Don t waste your time trying to give them business. They can t be bothered to return a phone call!

My parent s had a pool built in 1988 and chose Gary Pool. My dad took great pride in maintaining the pool but if ever there was a question,problem or issue he couldn t solve he would contact Gary Pool and even by phone (at times) the problem resolved promptly, courteous ,professionally and extremely fair prices!
The above qualities are a reflection of an Established Business and in my opinion,hard to find now-a-days!
One of the most courteous staff member is Saphol in the Service department.
My dad, mom and myself (The Executor of the Estate) were and are always pleased with her calming voice but more importantly her response to our questions and helping us to resolve issues in the BEST way for all.

to continue their Service! And it s due to how meticulous the pool has been kept by Ryan and the extremely FAIR monthly service fee. And that s all credited to Gary pool!

We love our Gary Pool. The service department has done an excellent job addressing and resolving any issues. Caitlan and her team have been fantastic.I am extremely impressed with the professionalism.

Our pool is now 9 years old and still looks great! The few times I've needed to call maintenance for minor issues, Katie in the office provides great customer service, advice, and promptly schedules somebody to come out if needed. Recently, I ended up replacing my original 9-year old Polaris, I could not figure out why it was not holding enough pressure to operate on the bottom of the pool. Joshua was scheduled to come out, after running a few checks on the pool wall hose connector, we decided I needed to replace the unit. Katie found one in the New Braunfels Warehouse 7 miles away, Joshua drove out to get it and returned and installed it for us all very quickly. Great job to both! Repaired pool, service person was at the house when they said he would be. Fixed issue quickly and communicated well. The cost for the repair was more than fair.

Wanted to share my experience with Gary s Pools. I am currently renting a place that has an average size pool. My landlord had hired a very inexperience company that made the pool look like milk after their weekly visits. After months of complaining the landlord finally fired them. My landlord seems to think that he is god s gift to pools and wanted to take care of the pool himself. Well it was always green, and he convinced us that it was a difficult pool and it would never be clean due to the trees. Not only was the pool green and required me to clean out the filter multiple times a day since his filter was so old. The motor ended up throwing sparks one day and died. Fun times. I was able in the month of August to go in the pool one time, which was about 45 minutes. My hair ended up breaking off and I got sores on my skin and this is after a shower. The landlord said that the PH was way too low but couldn t figure why. So, his smart idea was to throw a bunch of ash in the pool and make it look horrible. Plus, who is going to be around to clean out the filter every day. After that he decided that packing two chlorine floaters with five tabs each would help. I bought my own test kit and the water was so out of whack and no detectable chlorine. After fighting with the landlord to please get a professional pool company he called Gary s Pool. Dealing with this has been a nightmare and after 10 minutes of talking with Ed from Gary s Pool I knew that this could have all been easily avoided. He tested the water and evaluated the whole system within minutes and had a recommendation for us. He probably would have been quicker if my landlord didn t want to argue with Ed s spot-on logic which was all based in chemistry and science. Ed decided to use some more natural things to raise the PH and get the level where they needed to be. I appreciate him not bombing everything with chlorine like my landlord was doing, unsuccessfully. Ed really knows his craft and it was a breath of fresh air to deal with an expert. Since his one visit I have never seen the pool look so clean. There are zero algae, the water looks beautiful, and I tested with the test kit and it s a vast improvement on levels. I also put my arms in and let the water dry as a test and my skin was soft and smelt a little like chlorine. Just like a pool should feel and absolutely no irritation. I m so excited to be able to use the pool and not have to worry. My landlord was trying to argue that the pool needs to be shut down in November because it s too difficult to maintain. I was so grateful that Ed wasn t discouraged or just wanted to make the customer happy and informed my landlord that he can handle this pool all winter long. That he handles larger pools with ten times the trees. I appreciate Ed standing up to my landlords nonsense because my boyfriend is a disable veteran and we use the pool especially in the cold months for physical therapy. The whole point of renting this place was to use the pool for medical reasons. Another thing I wanted to mention is that Ed even made the point to make sure that our dog would be in the house during service. He wanted to make sure that he didn t get near any chemicals. While my landlord never had that concern which always made me uncomfortable. I would recommend anyone to use Ed from Gary s Pools. He knows what he s doing and will get it done with no problems. We feel so lucky that our landlord finally did something right and hired such and excellent company. Thanks, Ed, for being such an expert in your craft!

As first time pool builders/owners we are very pleased with choosing Gary Pools. From start to finish the people we worked with, in particular: Ashley, Steve and Brandon have made this process so enjoyable, with assisting us to make decisions, give guidance and to educate. Many times going WAY above and beyond the call of duty. We appreciate their truly professional way of doing business but all had such a friendly easygoing approach. Gary Pools is lucky to have employees such as these (3) who take pride in their work, and seem to truly enjoy what they do. Poor customer service! I had a scheduled appointment at 10am and had to contact the sales rep to confirm appoint. I got a response 20 minutes later that they were really running late. That s understood due to the nature of appointments running behind. I then receive a text that the sales rep would be at my household at approximately 11:09am. At 11:55am no one has showed up yet. So i text the sales rep what s the status and yet no response. I had to call the company phone number only to find out that the sales rep visited another client. I have received multiple quotes for new pool construction and each company has been on time. I have decided to sign elsewhere.

I went to Gary s Pool and Patio and had great service from the start. I decided to go with them because of their product line Viking Pools. Most of the employees there also have lots of experience in the pool business. During the installation the subs and crew were a pleasure to work with. The project took about 30 days to complete and the results were outstanding. I am so happy to have my pool ready to enjoy it during this summer heat. I would highly recommend GPP!

We are in the process of getting our pool built by Gary Pools our advisor is Chris and he has helped us develop the pool of our dreams for our forever home. He had been very professional and understanding by working around our schedule and being there if we have any questions day or night. He has worked on finding the best prices that will fit our budget. Our family loves him and we feel like we are part of the Gary Pool family. Had my pool maintenance done by Gary pools. Never on time! Even had weeks that they didn t even show up. Never called to say they were not showing up. Billing is horrible, billed me twice in one month! Needless to say I m with another pool company. When I told them I was canceling service no one cared just said ok I ll let them know Stay away!!

After shopping around we decided to call Gary pools because of a bad experience with another company. We spoke with Robert Fording. After the initial phone call where expectations were discussed he disappeared. We agreed to meet and he never showed up. He ignored texts and phone calls after not showing up. Very disappointing that these companies do not stand up to their word.

We searched for a long leaf bag with a metal rim at two Leslie pool locations and were told the bag was discontinued. I contacted Gary pool not only had it but at a good price. Brandon Cunningham from the Sansau location in San Antonio went out of his way to deliver it to our home. His service was courteous, pleasant and ultimately outstanding. Five star rating for Brandon!

From the beginning to the end we received excellent service. I would like to highlight Pete (Sales/Design), Shaylene (Office), Steve (Constuction Manager), and Andy (Setup). These four (as well as the entire construction teams and processes) provided the best service we have encountered. During the process Steve never once failed to update us on the timeframe and was always available via text/phone. I would highly recommend Gary Pools - hence the 5 Stars.

They didnt install my pool but they have taken care of it ever since. I just wish I had them build it as well

Best experience EVER! The design was awesome and everyone at Gary Pools was EXCELLENT! I had my beautiful in ground pool installed in 2015 and it has been awesome! Gary Pools is also very proactive on following up consistently (even 2 years later!) to make sure everything is as promised. Great job, Gary Pools!

The customer service from Sales with Steve, construction with Joe and closing with Larry was fantastic. They were professional and very knowledgeable.
