Overall we have had a really good experience with Gary Pool's. We are very happy with the pool design. Robert with the sales team was great to work with in finding the right pool to meet our budget. Construction was ahead of schedule. We had issues with the original plaster. Gary Pool's promised to address this issue and came through. Brandon was sent to inspect the plaster. At all points in the repair process Brandon was timely and very knowledgeable. We had a timeline that repairs needed to be completed. Brandon saw to meeting this timeline. Ultimately Brandon's service exceeded expectation And we are happy we chose Gary Pool's.

Our 5-star Gary Pools experience began with excellent and patient design service by Pete Herrera, He was capable of designing our pool within our budget and captured our goals for the overall look. Steve, the super intendant was very receptive, professional, and responsive to all of our questions and request. He had an immediate way of contacting us when work was going to be done, if there was any delay, Steve was able to provide some alternative to serve 5 star customer service. We have recently completed a home build, and this company by far with the combo of Pete and Steve has provided the best experience by far coming from a contractor.

I highly highly recommend working with these 2 within the system of Gary Pools.

Frank, who has serviced our water entertainment system for over 2 years, is superior in customer service, dependability, and honesty. GIVE HIM A RAISE!

Chris, a maintenance technician, is DITTO Frank when it comes to his craft. He knows what he is doing! After he resolved some outstanding issues for over 2 weeks with our system in a few minutes, I will not let anybody else but Frank or Chris at Gary Pools to handle our system in the future.

Horrible customer service. Tech left without recon...

Horrible customer service. Tech left without reconnecting our pool pump or even letting us know he was leaving! He wouldn't even answer when we called the number he used to contact us before showing up. Then we called the office and they hung up on my husband. He called back and the manager was conveniently out of the office. Bunch of bs.

UPDATE:
After posting my review, we received a call and the rep seemed to just make excuse after excuse. When the tech came out, he stated it was struck by lightning. This made it so that the claim was not going to be covered by the home warranty. This was the reasoning we were given for it not getting reconnected. It didn't really make sense because there was power going to the pump, you could hear it, and the plastic wiring was all fine, not melted.

Our home warranty allowed for us to have a second opinion. This new rep from Clear Blue Pool Supply says that there is NO indication that it was struck by lightning and HE WAS ACTUALLY ABLE TO FIX IT AND GOT IT WORKING. There was a missing part, however, and that was there before the Gary pools tech came out. Maybe it's a coincidence...maybe.

Having RJ monitor our chemical levels on a weekly basis is the wisest thing I could have done. He is knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant to deal with. He also offers hints and reminders on things for me to handle.

I see a lot of positive reviews for pool maintenance but my experience was with pool resurfacing/replastering on an existing Gary Pool. It was done about three years ago. The whole process was a nightmare because it was done poorly the first time, but I did not write a bad review at the time because, after much hassle, they did finally get it right. Or so it seemed. However, now just three years later, there are two cracks on the side of the pool about 18 inches down It is buckling and the water is getting in behind the plaster. which means I will have to have it all redone. For what I paid Gary ($6000), it should have lasted a lot more than 3 years!! So it was not done correctly after all. We maintain our pool very very carefully, so they can't blame this on the pool-owner. I would never ever recommend Gary Pools to anyone, they have disappointed me at every step (except their salepeople are very good) and now I see the result of shoddy workmanship. It is just very poor quality work by the people that Gary contracts with and really low standards. They were once an excellent company but not anymore. Buyers beware.
