I am deeply concerned with the lack professionalism that was shown by Gabbi and the doormen. I was assaulted by a chair, which has permanently scared me on my lower back. I will be claiming in the coming months...

I have visited the Galgorm many times. I attended the Northern Regional College graduation on December 13th with my family. We had a wonderful and enjoyable time. The refreshments were tasty and filling. They have redeemed themselves following my previous visit. I had not been to the Galagorm in 3 years following the Carrickfergus Grammar School formal (29/10/2015), which was a complete disappointment. The food was terrible, salty and not pleasant. The alcoholic drinks were weak and very overpriced. The Galgorm was an utter let down for my school formal! After this, I definitely will not be planning a wedding there! However, I do recommend the spa and afternoon tea. The cottages are also lovely to stay at. Lovely place and surroundings.

Visited for the first time for a family wedding. Wonderful venue, courteous, friendly and helpful staff. High quality food. Would highly praise the event manager from that day for how everything was conducted and his handling of one or two minor issues that arose.

Great location for a short break, can a bit expensive but that's the price for a bit of luxury. Our stay included a meal, breakfast and use of the spa and thermal village, all of which were excellent.

Speaking as a Photographer who captures 40 plus weddings at Galgorm each year, I never get bored of it... A photographers dream and it's always innovating and advancing. The ultimate venue and comes into it's own if the weather happens to turn wet. Staff are always friendly and I actually feel like part of their team. It's only fifteen minutes from my home but when I visit it's like being transported to another world.
Galgorm is simply Northern Ireland's premier Wedding Resort!

If you want to spoil yourselves, this is the place!! Good restaurants. Amazing spa. Bedroom large but with no air conditioning. Bathroom basic. Noise from people outside enjoying the hot tubs. Different WiFi codes for different parts of the facility. Parking not close to entrance.

I can only comment on the thermal village which was very good. I was there when numbers were restricted and I felt that was enough people however in normal times it would be much more full (so I've been told). The spa treatment was excellent and the lunch (part of the spa day package) was very tasty - good choice of menu.

We booked the Great Hall for a very special 21st birthday celebration for our charity. From the outset, we received 5-star service. All the staff were fantastic....respectful, inclusive, warm and friendly. Nothing was a bother and we felt so welcome. Would 100% use this Venu again. Thank you so so much.

I recently stayed in the Galgorm for the first time recently, after staying in a number similarly priced and marketed hotels/spas (international and local). The place gets a fantastic reputation and I'm not sure why, perhaps due to spa visitors. The spa was very good and offered a wide range of experiences. However, the hotel itself was substandard. The staff were ineffective - be prepared to wait for a lot of things. There are many examples but the two most galling are waiting for 30 minutes to be served by staff after being seated in a restaurant - then getting the accompanying drinks after the mains are almost finished. Sitting in the gin library and subsequently river room for 40+ minutes for service - the place was nearly empty at the time. Also, The rooms were extremely noisy - you can hear other patrons in the hall and the guard dogs (I assume as the place has large grounds) barking all night long!! I would never return to this hotel, there are far better options a short drive away. However, I would return to the spa as a day visitor - the spa is the only reason that this is not a 1 star review. Horrific hotel and restaurants.

We chose to go here for the thermal village, but it was packed, there were queues for most things like the jacuzzis and saunas. We waited and checked back several times for availability on the hot tubs, but we never got to use them at all. Check-in was fairly quick but a bit of a queue. Check-out took longer as there was more of a queue. Cocktails from the cocktail and gin bar were ok. I ordered a cocktail not on the list and it didn't taste right - probably best sticking to only those on the menu. Very expensive too. Dinner and drinks were served very quickly, but not as nice as lower-priced or similarly priced food in Belfast restaurants. Breakfast the next morning was ok, apart from the hair in freshly served beans dish. Not as good of an experience as it should be for the high-end price.

Amazing hotel and resort - lovely spa.

Amazing hotel and resort - lovely spa.
It's so big but it doesn't feel too busy because there are so many different spaces and areas.
We visited for a wedding, there were 3 on at the same time, but you wouldn't have known.
The service was incredible and we can't wait to go back.
Go for the Gin Library!

Enjoyed a fantastic wedding here. Staff and facilities were great. Stated at the cottages which were unfortunately across a building site at the time (June 2017). Breakfast amazing, lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Also used the thermal spa and would rate 4 stars also.
