The food was delicious and the ambiance was charming! I will definitely be coming back to try some of the other items on the menu!!!
Wow. Get here at 6 to avoid the lines but even if you have to wait it is well worth it. A new favorite.
Could this be more French? Excellent staff, dreamy ambiance, perfect food.
Delicious food, great presentation. Located on a quiet St in the West End. Waiter could have shown more warmth, considering the pricey menu.
A little piece of Paris in NYC. Always the best atmosphere and the best coffee and tarte tatin.
Great but very small chairs and tables. Worth it though
French home style cooking. Brunch is little less crowded but dinner menu is much better. Nice cocktails and surprisingly great whiskey menu.
Great service nice ambiance and the food is great , and to top it all of awesome wine and fantastic drinks...
Great food and wine selection with a genuine Parisian feel.
Great place for brunch!! Food was super tasty and high quality. Don't expect large dishes though, they are small...
The almond croissant is great. Their eggs are unique and very good. Quaint little cafe.
Very well kept and convenient spot. They provide generous meals and for affordable prices. We enjoyed the menu a lot and the staff were super friendly and informative. Highly recommended.
Always come here for brunch, great food and great price
Excellent service. Cozy. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and got to see them make all the food in such a tiny space. Good drinks and seems to have a different option each day. Only downside was the price.
Wonderful food !!! Just sin in the waiting, which is pretty big!
One of the best restaurants for breakfast in nyc. Set on a quiet street in downtown manhattan, with authentic Parisian atmosphere. The menu is limited to a few dishes, but every one of them is pure perfection. The coffee is excelent and the service outstanding.
Stay away. I want it to myself.
Long waits so get there early to put your name down. If you're there for brunch, get the croissants. Small but hands down the best croissants outside of Paris.
Wonderful service. We checked in with Dominique and Heidy and they were so attentive and sweet and we knew we were going to have a great experience here. Highly recommend this place.
This review was a draft so excuse the date. This was before Covid.
All great!
We ordered foie tartine with caramelized onions, curried mussels and steak tartar.
The dessert is not for you: tarte tatin
Simple menu great staff. The place is very cute and charming
The avocado on toast is delicious
Coffee is delicious
Almond croissant is delicious
Simply outstanding.
Be warned - smaller portions but more than makes up for it in quality.
Great french food with a great wine selection to add in a very romantic setting.
Awesome chef, the food is excellent. This charming restaurant brings to people an enjoyable time.
Very nice place with very good food and drinks. Usually busy, friendly staff.
Great food, great location, great service. Never disappointed with this place. Some of the best egg dishes ive had in NYC. Simple and solid!
I can't believe I didn't visit this place earlier, I've missed out on so much good food!
It was fun to go once, since it was tucked into a cute, quiet street, the pastries are great, and the food is decent. Very expensive for the portions and seating is so tight that it's not very pleasant. Wait times can be bad at times too and service is about what you get at a 24/7 diner (very efficient but not especially friendly)
Tapas size breakfast portions. All desserts come in mini sizes and in two. I wasn t over stuffed after the meal but very full. The place is fairly cozy so be prepared to not dine with arm room
Fantastic place for a breakfast.
Very good food and excellent mimosas
Very tiny space, almost claustrophobic. Good variety of wine. Service is very good. Food reminded of italian, rather than french.
Our waiter was a bit rude. We were only at the table for about an hour but was pushed to leave. He also added a 25% tip on his own, which I changed to 20%. So he seemed to be irritated. I couldn't finish my capuccino because he pushed us to leave the restaurant in a hurry. Food is also nothing special.
A beautiful, hidden gem. Great food, good drinks, and friendly staff. My only issue - space is tight. If you're going on a date, expect the people next to you to hear your conversation.
Loved the almond croissants. Coffee was great. Brunch food is delicious. Only down side is that they squeeze as many people as they can in this small restaurant. They 3 of us down on a table that was barely big enough for 2. We barely had enough space to cut our food. It felt a little uncomfortable due to space restrictions but the food was great.
Delicious food. I had the croque forestier and my husband had the croque monsieur. Both were delicious, but portions were quite small. The service was good. The seating is a bit uncomfortable but the food is worth it.
Don't know why I even left the tip... there is absolutely no service. Not only the food came out late, but the potatoes weren't fully cooked. Also, they screwed my coffee order. Anyways, first and last time.
This is a great restaurant! Rillettes de Canard is so tasty, and other small dishes are good as well. The servers are very friendly and follow social distancing protocols perfectly. The outdoor dining area is also very pretty! Highly recommend.
An exquisite dining experience. Everything was so delicious! Would recommend.
Lovely place, waiter was very moody. Menu difficult to understand. Very small restaurant.
The wait to be jury duty was not cool until I found this place perfect to seat and enjoy a great meal. Their fries were so good !!! Baklava fresh and delicious perfect place to grab a coffee and wait or have a quick bite.
Sweet French bistro with cozy setting. Not a lot of space between tables.
Great atmosphere for light bites and drinks. Sazerac was
it was great, not sure why the service was horrible
French food at this place - very good. Filled me up in no time. The service was sociable and attentive. It has a good atmosphere.
Cute little French breakfast spot! A little more on the pricey side but wasn't disappointed since I knew that going in. Everything there from the madeleines to the meals were delicious! I got the special of the day which was avocado toast with Lox, cucumbers and a slightly spiced yogurt. The lox was the best I've ever had; very flavorful and light without being too smoked or salty. It was complimented beautifully by the creamy yogurt topping as well with the perfect amount of crunch from the toast and cucumber. My boyfriend got light fluffy eggs and prosciutto that was also out of this world.
We will be back on our next visit! Great work Buvette team!
Love love love this place. I will go back everytime I ever visit New York. The portions are small but it means you can order more. Fresh juice. So much great food, I'm so happy I found you Buvette.
I got there around 11am on Sunday morning. The wait was very long as I expected. But they told us 20-30 min but the wait was like 55 min. Food was great and coffee was great too. :)
Very easy-going and upbeat here! Amazing atmosphere - a great place to come with friends and have a good time and relax. The food was delicious, the servers were very nice.
It has a nice rustic feel and the service is good. I highly recommend coming during non peak hours or you will wait for a while. The food is excellent, especially their steamed eggs. The coffee was good as well. Overall, had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.
Can't speak to the food, but a charming interior and friendly service do nothing to improve bitter, lukewarm tea.
Good food, nice vibe but I didn't appreciate having to sit on a small uncomfortable stool while I ate.
I loved the salt cod in the brandade de morue and the ratatouille.
Rude wait staff. Entitled and dismissive like a good french restaurant should be. Is it really necessary though?
I expected too much on this place but not so impressed at all. Ordered croque forestier and it was burnt and dry. Didn't enjoy eating it that much and as a typical thing in NY of course they are overpricing. I wasted time and money just to see how it is. Next time I know not to go back here again.
Cute french spot, but the food portion is too small for what they charged. I ordered waffles thinking I would get a decent serving for lunch seeing that it cost $16. the pic below shows exactly what I got. Its not worth it. thats my first and last trip there
My early Sunday morning experience was magical! I sat at the counter and took it all in. The food was simple and delicious and the atmosphere charming. In very French fashion, the toilets were located down a set of narrow stairs. Highly recommended.
The weekend brunch is gorgeous and filling- don't let the tiny tables and compact plates fool you. The servings are just right, the coffee is spectacular, and the service is attentive. The place feels like a popular French bistro...oh wait...it is!
Hostess nowhere to be seen. Rude waitress. Very mediocre cocktails & food. Total waste of money.
Best breakfast we've had in a long time! Delicious, and great service and ambiance.
Pricey -
Very uncomfortable
Long long long wait...
Very little flexibility on the menu...
Not a good deal!
Great little spot. Attentive and professional staff. Good coffee and good food. Very enjoyable little bistro atmosphere.
Delicious food in a tiny restaurant. Be prepared to wait for a table for brunch.
Very quaint. Great atmosphere. Waffle sandwich is incredible. Coffee and cappuccino was great. Staff was friendly and quick.
Went there for brunch. What a quaint and charming little bistro! Delicious food too!
A small place with really good food. Loved the Cr'q Madame..
This is the original local gem! Watermelon juice was refreshing, the counter seats were comfortable, and a friendly waiter made the whole experience so memorable
The Belgian waffles were delicious, though not legendary. His coffee was also above average.
