So far so good. If you are looking for the largest selection of furniture, you will not find any place to compare. They are very laid back here, no pressure...just know exactly what you are looking for. Plan to stay at least a couple of days because the first day you will be very overwhelmed. Take pictures and dimensions of your space. This is also a great place to visit if you are looking to specifically decorate one room, furnish a new home with multiple rooms or a vacation house. You literally can decorate the entire house in one visit! I purchased a couple of items and hopefully they deliver without a hitch!

We had a pleasant experience looking for all hardwood bedroom furniture. We found exactly what we wanted and can't wait for it to show up in a few weeks!

Great experience shopping at FLS. So much to see; was really helpful to have Christina guide us to what we were looking for, as she really knew the inventory & what factors we needed to consider. Used the diagnostic evaluation in Sleepland to help pick the best mattress for us.

We decided to furnish our new FL condo with furniture from Furnitureland South. We spent time with our salesperson who was actually pretty good and we picked all the furniture for a 3BR unit.
It is now almost A YEAR later and we still have four outstanding issues that this company cannot seem to solve. We have spent countless hours waiting around for return deliveries and repairmen. I ll give you one example: our guest room nightstands were delivered two months after we placed our order and deposit, but they were not what we had ordered. Three months later the correct dressers arrived but they had marker spots all over them. Three months later the third set of dressers arrived but one had a corner broken off of it. No one answers phone calls to help, and when you get answers to emails they are often late and largely unhelpful.
BUYER BEWARE-once they have your money they are not responsive. No such thing as customer service.

Furniture is not satisfactory. Taking months to resolve. Lost one piece (on wrong truck.) Took a month to locate/deliver it, and it is not acceptable.

Excellent service so far! However; I haven't received the furniture yet, I just placed the order. My sales person Mr. M. Moore was excellent, answering all of my questions with patience and understanding!

My fiance and I bought a new mattress and bedroom set from the Outlet at Furnitureland South. We were overwhelmed at first by the size of the outlet and the selection of pieces there, but our consultant, Samantha, advised us on where to look for what we were looking for and was readily available to us when we were ready to talk about price on something we liked. We did some shopping and quickly spotted a beautiful Folio 21 5-piece bedroom set that we loved, along with a Kingsdown king size mattress. Samantha was great about working with us on the price - we were on a tight budget and she did everything in her power to get it as low as she could for us. At the end, we were THRILLED with the price we were offered! We feel like we really got a great deal on beautiful, quality furniture.

We opted to pick up our furniture from the Outlet rather than have it delivered, and that experience was above and beyond. We brought a trailer that was a bit too small for all the furniture and the mattress, so the gentlemen in the warehouse helped us load and secure the mattress to the top of our truck. It was a less than ideal solution for a 90-minute drive back to Raleigh, but the guys were dead set on getting us home with all of our furniture in one piece! It worked great - they spent well over an hour tying down the mattress and making sure all was secure before we took off. We made it back with everything in perfect condition.

To say I would recommend Furnitureland South is an understatement. The service, the people and the overall experience were all wonderful. And the best part is - we LOVE our new bedroom!!

We love this place. We found a beautiful dining room table marked down $7000.00 a while back. We had such a good experience with Nicole, who has an interior design background that we went back shopping for a leather couch. We found an incredible sectional leather couch that was $5000.00 off. In a time crunch with visiting family coming Taylor and Nicole moved mountains and performed the incredible to help us make our timeframe. Great store with wonderful staff and no pressured sales, we will be back again.

Large as it maybe, little value it offers. Furnitures r not necessarily from local manufacturers, a rarity in its own. So kinda pointless to expect discount because of proximity to furniture makers.

Furnitureland has huge collection. Shortlist manufacturers you are interested before hand.Compare prices around other stores for same products , FLS will price match as long as it s from a store quote not online.
Great customer service , sales reps go beyond to help you to get what you need. I worked with Mari Miller she was great , had lot of patience and over stayed closing hours to finish our sale.

Great venue with an incredible selection of furniture! Our Design consultant pointed us in the right direction allowing us to roam at our own pace without feeling pressure. When we did come across exactly what we wanted, he responded quickly and assisted us politely with the purchase. Waiting now with great anticipation for delivery!

We were very pleased with the courteous service of our sales representative.

I was there to order furniture in May 2016. My designer was awesome. I ordered $48000 of furniture for my home. My dining table from Chaddock showed up scratched and the trim on the legs was the wrong color. The buffet table doors would not close properly. A new buffet was ordered and a new table ordered. The new table showed up (another 10 weeks of waiting) and the legs were still the wrong color. Furnitureland tried to correct the trim color but when they redelivered the table, the legs were so poorly wrapped that they were chipped and scratched in many places and that was just on one leg! Then we ordered another table, but once it arrived at Furnitureland, they lost two of the legs. I am still waiting for the table and we are March 2017!! My sectional that I ordered was custom made and the manufacturer forgot to add the reinforced legs on the chaise part of my sectional. The manufacturer wanted to repair the issue and Furnitureland picked up my couches and sent them back for repair. However, once the manufacturer sent back the couches to Furnitureland they were so dirty that Furnitureland had to have them professionally cleaned. Once they arrived at my house, they were so poorly protected and loaded into the truck that the legs were broken and the underneath fabric was all torn. Then they had to order me new couches. A reimbursement of $800 was offered for my troubles. Finally, delivery was scheduled for my couches and they call me the day before to tell me that they cannot deliver both my sectionals cause there is no room on the truck. I was told that my pieces were too big. As if it is my problem. I asked them why I was being bumped off the truck. I have been through enough problems and felt that after 9 months of waiting for my stuff, why would they bump me off. I told the lady that there would be enough room on the truck if they bumped somebody else off the truck ( not that I wanted someone else to be disappointed). Why make someone who is already mad more mad. She had the nerve to tell me that they were not about to send a special truck just for me. It has been a frustrating experience and it is still ongoing. My couches are supposed to arrive Friday this week....not feeling very confident.

Wonderful customer service and I have loved every piece of furniture I ve ordered from FLS.

Nathan was great. I made three trips there and he was willing to help me on all three trips. He kept his distance and when I needed him I just called or texted him and that was awesome. I was able to get all my answers to any question without really having to be face to face but was always willing to be face to face if needed. Once I made my decisions (or somewhat made them) he was right theee and helped me get everything I needed in the right sizes and right colors. Even helped me make a couple of decisions between products. The store is huge and can be exhausting. On day two I literally had to stop for the day because I was so overwhelmed but got it almost all done that day. Was able to come back day 3 and order and recheck sizes on everything before purchase. Great store and good layout but so big I did get lost a couple of times.

We leveraged the interior design service as we are buying a new home. We did everything remote. Brittany was awesome in helping to pick out our items, sending fabric samples and sharing pictures.

Inga was great. She listened to what I wanted and lead me straight to it. We got exactly what we wanted in a timely manner and great prices too at the Outlet.

Furniture quality, selection, and pricing is fine. Ordering and delivery I'm sorry to say is very unsatisfactory. At the time of this review, Oct 10th, we are still waiting for delivery on furniture ordered July 13th. The furniture has been built and received at Furnitureland but evidently delivery logistics require more than three weeks (!!!) to deliver this furniture 50 miles, and they cannot give us a specific day for delivery, only a multiple-day window as if we have nothing better to do than sit around and wait for a furniture truck to arrive. If you buy here do not pay for freight and make plans to pick up the furniture yourself.

My wife and I were looking for a big place to purchase several items and good quality furniture for our new house . We were greeted by one the most helpful, professional representative Costanza . We were impressed by how knowledgeable she was about every brand and her recommendations with great style .It was a big relief and time saving dealing with Costanza.

Loved the overall experience! Definitely worth a trip over here. It was a bit of a rocky start because I used the chat feature on the site to ask for help in matching up with a design consultant but the chat was manned by a design consultant who just said yes to everything I asked about her, trying to take me on as her client without any consideration for our styles or personalities being a good or bad fit. For someone you're going to spend 5+ hours with and get advice on the pieces you'll buy to live with every day, you want to mesh with them both personality-wise and stylistically. But after I rectified that and matched myself with a design consultant who seemed like a better fit, we had a pretty smooth experience. Our consultant was helpful ahead of time, asking the right questions and being forgiving when our move got in the way of us providing her with all the dimensions and things she needed to do her job the best that she could. When we arrived in person, we were greeted promptly and with warmth by the front desk staff. They called our consultant to let her know we were here and we were allowed to browse around while we waited for her. We sat down at one of the tables in the showroom with our consultant and discussed our needs in person for about 5 minutes. Then she led the way, taking us intentionally to the rooms that had furniture in our style and at our price point. While I've heard the experience with each consultant is slightly different, ours let us do most of the talking. She walked us through the rooms and had us point out pieces we liked. Then she would provide advice if it was relevant, like if something wouldn't go with the wall color or the style we had picked out or if something was going to send us over budget. She took pictures of most of the things we liked and after we were done browsing (several hours later - it's a big facility!) we sat down in the design center and looked at the photos she had taken to pare down and select our pieces. Then we chose fabrics for the couch and chairs we had picked and she was very helpful matching those to our other items and veto-ing the fabrics that wouldn't hold up to our large dog. Once all the decisions had been made, she printed us an order statement to review and emailed us all the info and the link to pay so that we didn't have to do that part in person and could have time to think about it to make sure it's what we wanted. After, she has been available by email for quick questions and when we wanted to add an extra item onto our order. It was a great experience and we would definitely go back again! Perhaps when we're ready to decorate our upstairs too!

We CanNOT Rate as asked by FurnitureLand- we have NOT received sofa-we were told could be 6-8+ weeks. We shopped at Furnitureland thinking delivery would been much earlier. We expecting guest and needed sofa-not good:( !

It truly is hard to review my purchase. It took 4 months to receive the wrong order. After many calls and finally discussing the issue with a manager, the fix has more been ordered for delivery in another 3 months. Not sure yet if I am going to receive the right order but it will be almost a year since I ordered the first item.

The showroom is well designed and the inventory is quite diverse, appealing to almost any taste. Each order will take minimum 4 months so be ready for it.

Beautiful displays and exquisite merchandise but most of it was grossly overpriced, apparently to pay for their property and building. I loved the fact that they had a Starbucks on site, but not really a necessity for furniture shopping if you have merchandise that people want to purchase. A great day trip if you want to see how the elite furnish their homes because not even in the Garage Sale building could I find anything priced for the real people like myself.

I was immediately, but pleasantly approached by 3 salespeople during my visit. There selection was overwhelming, but we left knowing we had found the right furniture for our family!

My first experience at Furnitureland South about 18 years ago was not a good one so I was very hesitant to return. However someone referred me to Kathy Field and I decided to give it another try. Kathy as a salesperson made my experience such a good one. Furnitureland South is huge and can be very overwhelming. Kathy helped me choose fabrics and everything for my outdoor patio and the process was made easy with her guidance. She is a good designer and listens to the customer and their needs. I will return but will go directly to Kathy for her expertise.

I came on a mission to find a mirrored dresser for my bedroom. Tanya Barnes greeted me as soon as I walked into the door, exchanged phone numbers with me and allowed me to peruse close to every building on site (There are three huge buildings on the campus) without being pushy or rushing me into making a choice. She was extremely knowledgable and knew exactly what I was looking for. I was there for roughly 4.5 hours but I got my beautiful mirrored dresser and I cannot wait for it to arrive! There's truly no other place in the country with this kind of selection and customer service. Amazing!

Customer service was awful. When we called they highly encouraged us to get an appointment with a consultant so we did. When we arrived for our appointment our consultant showed up 15 minutes late and then proceeded to tell us she had another customer on the phone so we should just walk around ourselves and she would find us. About an hour later she called to find out where we were. When she finally caught up with us she told us to take pictures of anything we wanted and to text her with any questions. So we did for a while but we became very frustrated with the lack of attention. We asked to meet with her before leaving to discuss what we where interested in but where told by her via text she had another customer and would not be able to meet. To bad because there where a number of items we would have purchased but we decide not to spend our money in a place with such poor customer servIce.

As I walked in the door, I was greeted by Lisa, who welcomed me, gave me an overview of the layout of the campus and building I was in. She allowed me time to peruse, and helped me make my purchase. It was a great experience that will definitely make me come back and utilize her services as my sales representative!

The Furniture Land store provides a wide variety of products to choose from. My wife and I went to look for different kinds of furniture pieces both in and outdoors. With the selections at Furniture Land, we were able to shop for all of our furniture in one location. It gave us a lot of options and was convenient.

Don t buy from Furnitureland South! They don t stand behind their products. Horrible customer service. I ordered Klausner couches and not even a couple weeks into them they started sagging and looking like they were old. Brought it to my designers and customer service reps attention, and they said the manufacture doesn t see it as being a defect, so they won t do anything to help. I m now going to have to get my cushions re-stuffed to try to help the sag. I bought in good faith that Furnitureland South stands by their products. They don t. Will never buy from there again!

The showrooms are well laid out and makes it quite easy to find your way around. There is great diversity to meet the parameters of each economic limitations . The Staff is quite friendly and knowledgeable . Our designer Kelsey was hands on and available to us without being aggressive and made our shopping experience enjoyable.

Awesome experience placing our order online. Charlie Sheffield provided excellent customer service and made the process easy.

Our salesperson Donald was very knowledgeable, helpful, and efficient. We even added on to our order the next day with no problem. I ll let you know more after we actually receive the furniture (12 weeks which is fine because house will not be ready until then) but we have shopped at Furnitureland South in the past and have not been disappointed.

I signed up through the website before our planned trip to FLS. Christine Eddy contacted us and just before the trip, we gave her the measures of the rooms and the list of items we intend to buy. Upon arrival at FLS, we were really pleased with the experience. As a sales associate, Christine was really patient with us and understood our specifications/preferences. It was not easy to arrive at a sofa that pleased both me and my husband. She understood our price point and interests and constantly was on the look out for our items. She was never pushy.We came back for a second day's ordeal and she was right there to continue our search and assist us. We have placed the order for some items which was ably assisted by her. I will write back on how the experience goes with the shipping and such - overall happy with the choices/selections we saw at FLS showroom.

I used the on-line consultant. They were very knowledgeable about the furniture piece I wanted to buy. At one point my on-line communication stopped working and they actually called me to see if they could be of further assistance in purchasing my furniture.They gave me me quotes on shipping and a discount! I was very satisfied with the customer service.

They have beautiful items at fair prices, but the delivery service is the worst. Takes months to receive the item. The only way to buy from this company is arrange for your own pick up. Otherwise, you will wait until they fill up their trucks, which could take months. Not sure how they stay in business.

Sales department was a little slow to respond at times, but the customer service is excellent. Donna Hildebrand was exceptional in following up and seeing that my minor problem was taken care of.

I walked into the Outlet wanting living room furniture but knowing little else. I literally had nothing particular in mind, or any direction. And I hate to shop!
I found a sofa I liked and then talked to Bill Connor. He said his partner and designer,
Becky Shaw, was at the other building and he would call her.
Becky came over and talked with me to find out what other pieces I wanted and then she went to work. Again, this was not easy because I didn't really know how to explain my taste, likes and dislikes.
I ended up with the sofa and matching chair, an accent chair, end tables, a coffee table, and an area rug. All wonderfully made and at great discounts. And though not a "set," it goes together wonderfully.
I can't say enough good about Furnitureland South and the people with whom I worked. If you want quality furniture, there is no better place.

They had the furniture design and color I wanted. Plus the deliver, cost and set up is included. I'm just anxious for delivery.

Our first visit to Furnitureland South exceeded our expectations. We were shopping specifically for a TV console and left with the perfect $1400 piece for $540. Also picked up a stunning velvet accent chair that would be completely out of our budget anywhere else. The secret is the Outlet behind the main buildings. Start there first, you ll be amazed at the variety and quality. We worked with Nathan Pyrtle and he showed us how to use our iPhone to price check everything ourselves which was very convenient in such a large store. Shipping to Charlotte was incredibly reasonable, $100 for two pieces and it included a 5 year warranty. We can t wait to return and shop for the rest of our home now that we have discovered the amazing potential of Furnitureland South!

Mr. Lewis was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable of the products. He was also very personable and made sure we chose the right product for us. The design consultant was great helpful but not at all pushy.The furniture selection was tremendous. I ordered home office furniture and it arrived at Furnitureland South on time.The delivery department contacted me and we set up a delivery time..The day before the delivery I had plumbing issues that required about one-half of the first floor of my home to be replaced. The delivery department was wonderful and held my new furnuiture for about 6 weeks until the house floors were replaced..They were so nice.I cannot say enough nice things about this store. I will be back for sure!

Helen Suits from FLS worked with our decorator to facilitate timely and excellent selections for us. The showrooms were beautifully laid out and provided an excellent range of choices. All aspects of Customer Service have been extremely accommodating, the delivery of the furniture was professional and courteous and last but not least the furniture that was delivered looked more amazing than it even did in the showroom!
