Loved the overall experience! Definitely worth a trip over here. It was a bit of a rocky start because I used the chat feature on the site to ask for help in matching up with a design consultant but the chat was manned by a design consultant who just said yes to everything I asked about her, trying to take me on as her client without any consideration for our styles or personalities being a good or bad fit. For someone you're going to spend 5+ hours with and get advice on the pieces you'll buy to live with every day, you want to mesh with them both personality-wise and stylistically. But after I rectified that and matched myself with a design consultant who seemed like a better fit, we had a pretty smooth experience. Our consultant was helpful ahead of time, asking the right questions and being forgiving when our move got in the way of us providing her with all the dimensions and things she needed to do her job the best that she could. When we arrived in person, we were greeted promptly and with warmth by the front desk staff. They called our consultant to let her know we were here and we were allowed to browse around while we waited for her. We sat down at one of the tables in the showroom with our consultant and discussed our needs in person for about 5 minutes. Then she led the way, taking us intentionally to the rooms that had furniture in our style and at our price point. While I've heard the experience with each consultant is slightly different, ours let us do most of the talking. She walked us through the rooms and had us point out pieces we liked. Then she would provide advice if it was relevant, like if something wouldn't go with the wall color or the style we had picked out or if something was going to send us over budget. She took pictures of most of the things we liked and after we were done browsing (several hours later - it's a big facility!) we sat down in the design center and looked at the photos she had taken to pare down and select our pieces. Then we chose fabrics for the couch and chairs we had picked and she was very helpful matching those to our other items and veto-ing the fabrics that wouldn't hold up to our large dog. Once all the decisions had been made, she printed us an order statement to review and emailed us all the info and the link to pay so that we didn't have to do that part in person and could have time to think about it to make sure it's what we wanted. After, she has been available by email for quick questions and when we wanted to add an extra item onto our order. It was a great experience and we would definitely go back again! Perhaps when we're ready to decorate our upstairs too!
