Poor customer service, and faulty products. They sold me a defective jbl power PCB, so I had to buy the same power pcb board in town at twice the price to fix my sub in a time crunch for a show that weekend. Now they want to give me the runaround on returning their defective product, because I went to someone else to buy a product that works. So if anyone needs a $200 boat anchor give these folks a call, or better yet find me and I'll get it to you at half price.

I bought an item for My Sanctuary. When I receive the product I tested it I heard a continuous static in the background. I called the sales department multiple times requesting a shipping label but the sales rep would not budge. They would not refund my shipping for the product therefore I had to pay for shipping both ways $32 . I would have expected much better experience from a great company like this but unfortunately I was disappointed. Wish we could have resolved this problem. If you buy a product and have similar product issues unfortunately you will have the same issue as I had.

Ordered a hard to get item that they had listed as in stock. Only to be told a day later they do not have it and it would take "60 days" to get in or "$1,000" to get it right away. While I lost being able to get the item from other locations. VERY disappointed! I did get a refund the next day, but I would not trust what this online seller states as in stock.

A complete ripoff company. Charged my CC in May for $148 prior to shipping item, finally had to request my money back July 11, 2016. Company gave me no guidance on delivery date only supplier excuses. A really lousy company, avoid at all cost's.

More than a month after taking my money, they say it'll be another month before they can ship the camera. I had to finally cancel because I didn't want to carry CC balance for something I didn't get. They blame the manufacturer, but it doesn't make sense to
advertise an item they don't have and then place a "special order" to the manufacturer. It feels more like a scam than a legit operation.

Theatre Group I work with recently purchased a number of microphone receivers and bodypacks, due to technical issues with a setup we rented from another organization I went back to Full Compass for a rental. While they didn't have exactly what I was looking for, they did their best to get me setup with something that would fit our needs and budget. Can't say enough about how impressed I was.

Just wanted to drop a quick note.

Erik has been my 'go to' guy for sound equipment for quite some time now. All to often, I find people are quick to send negative feedback, but never take the time for the good. Erik does a great job and is always so helpful when I have questions. Even when I manage to stump him on a question, which isn't that often, he goes out of his way to find an answer.

Someone please give him a gold star for the day :) He deserves it.

We switched to Full Compass as our supplier for sound and lighting equipment for all 3 of our theaters 8 years ago and haven't looked back. We've consistently experienced better service and lower prices since, and don't see any chance of switching any time soon.

I ordered a Bose Compact PA system on Sunday evening. Monday I received a call telling me my order had shipped. Friday my system was delivered and everything was well packed in nondescript packaging and very securely wrapped. I was worried by all the package theft but was pleasantly surprised by the communications from FedEx. Thanks for a great transaction. Tom

Great company, except for their website. The darn thing times out after about 2 or 3 minutes of inactivity, dumping your cart completely and logging you out! Totally ridiculous. I called them about it, and they could not connect me to the right person to discuss it.

I honestly had no idea we had a place like this in Madison! The sales associates were extremely helpful, going so far as to open products for me to try before buying. On top of that they beat Amazon's price without my even asking! The only thing to keep in mind is they primarily sell products for audio production/live performance, so for some consumer products you may need to look elsewhere.

As a rule, I don't review places on Google. This merits an exception. If you live in the area and need audio products, come here. They'll cut you a deal as a local and treat you with unassuming respect whether you need a replacement headphone cord or...you know what I can only comment on the headphone cord purchase. I bet they're nice if you buy expensive stuff, too.

Full compass is an amazing company! Found the ad an reverb but bought straight from the company. Got an amazing deal, excellent customer service from Josh, and because the company is so efficient we received the TAMA Superstar classic set two days from the day we ordered them!! Way to go! You guys are rockin it and these drums are absolutely beautiful!

Ordered something online, a small part for an EV mic that I thought would be virtually impossible to find. Bosch (EV's parent) has what I needed for about $60. I found Full Compass and was amazed that not only did they have this little part, but at a 1/3 price! Fast ordering and shipping. I would definitely use them again, they seem to take interest in stuff that's hard to find. Thanks for the great order!

Very bad costumer service , I phoned them to have a part shipped abroad, the sales person said he will contact me back with the shipping fees, he never got back to me and kept calling and calling, he seemed uninterested by my business throughout the interaction. I will never try to buy anything from them nor refer them to anyone.

Fantastic company that has kept me satisfied for the long haul. I have 4 different shipping and billing addresses, and everything has billed and shipped flawlessly. Full compass has always given me updates on order status and back orders. They have provided product information and have given me direct numbers to manufactures for specific questions. I have dealt with all the competition, and in my opinion, they have treated me the best. I live 30 minutes from their major competitor, and I would rather deal with Full Compass, even with shipping cost and two days for delivery.

Wonderful customer service! We came in with plenty of questions and our salesperson went above and beyond to help us with a technical issue with a product we bought at another store. We got a lot of information without being rushed and he helped us find the right products in our price range for a home studio. Thank you Spencer!

I realised they were close to my work and stopped in and picked up my parts. Both in store and online chat and email follow up was great. All parts work great and now my equipment is good. Thanks

Horrible, I ordered a piece of equipment for my film/production company worth $2000 weeks ago and they took my money. A week later they sent an email saying I need to verify my identification as it's a high dollar purchase and I'm sending to a different mailing address than my billing (which was not a problem with any other company I've spent money with, and I've spent $7000 with DJI and it wasn't a problem). They told me after I got in contact with them that I need to PayPal them another $2000 so they know it's not fraudulent activity on my end, even though they still have my other $2000 I sent them weeks ago! After many calls they eventually said they would sent the first $2000 back and then I could PayPal them, but it's been nearly a week and still haven't got my money back. I reccomend them to no one and would give a 0/5 stars if I could. Terrible customer service. Still trying to get my money back!

Terrible customer service!!! DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY IF YOUR BILLING ADDRESS AND SHIPPING ADDRESS ARE NOT IDENTICAL. I placed an order online. Full Compass deducted the funds from my debit account then refused to ship the item because my billing address is different from the shipping address. The Full Compass website clearly has a form for separate billing and shipping addresses. If it is Full Compass policy to only ship if the billing address and shipping are identical why does the order form have a place to fill out separate addresses? There are many folks like me who live in rural areas and receive US Mail at a PO Box at the local post office(my billing address) and UPS deliveries at our physical address (my delivery address). I do lots of mail order business and have never come across such an absurd policy. I was contacted by by a representative, Troy Shaffer, but he refused to resolve my issue over the phone. FULL COMPASS TOOK MY MONEY FIRST THEN REFUSED TO SHIP THE ITEM. TERRIBLE COMPANY.

I have been getting gear and pro advice from Full Compass for years. Working with my church s A.V. budget can be challenging but have always gotten solid options-recommendations from these folks. They give me options that are good without unnecessary up-selling.
Also an added bonus is that they don t feel the need to mansplain audio gear to me. (Unlike the pro audio department of the local large chain music store). But that s a whole other review.
I ve had great customer service.. Shout out to Blake for all the help!

I originally ordered my Tama Starclassic B/B from another very reputable store online, but didn't realize I was going to have to wait 4 months for them to get more in stock in the finish I wanted. So I canceled the order and found Full Compass were the only ones that had the exact same kit in stock at the same price. Sales rep was extremely nice and offered it at almost $300 less than the original price... which was something I never even planned on. Shipped extremely fast. I could not be happier with my experience.

Too notch equipment can be found here, but I'm disappointed in the lack of showroom displays for the average Joe. It seems like the huge space could be better utilized to show more options for the many products that are offered. You will definitely find plenty of equipment to dream about here though.

It's fun to see the latest in live and studio sound and the sales people are very knowledgeable and willing to help find what you're looking for.

Wow, it was excellent customer service. I got a music rest for my Casio keyboard and because I did not unwrap it from the plastic wrap, I thought it was the wrong size. They were really nice and helpful and did everything that they could to get me the right one but then I realized I needed to unwrap it and it fit perfectly. Also the packaging was incredible, there was not way unless the post office smashed the box into pieces that it would be harmed.

0 Stars should be an option!! Seriously undeserving of that one star! I ordered a part on Jan 17th 2019. Part won't even be at their facility until MID-APRIL!! I was told by several employees,(Jeremiah, Mark, Gregg, Gage) on several different occasions that they would get back to me with an email, that had some updated information on the order. Nothing was ever sent. At one point I was told that it would be there on February 11th. But that was absolute BS. My local music store recommended this broken compass buffoonery to get this part. I recommend you go elsewhere.

I ordered a piece of equipment for my DJ business ...

I ordered a piece of equipment for my DJ business and was told it would ship in 7-14 days. On day 13 I called because day 14 was a Saturday and I still had not received any communication with them. Johanna told me that the part I was looking for was out of stock. She said she would look into it and let me know what was going on. When I asked her why there had been no communication about the part being out of stock she said she was sorry but that she would look into it. I told her I wanted an answer that day either via email or phone since they seemed to be unable to communicate that the part was out of stock. 7 hours later there was still no response and I called back, this time I spoke with Jim who also told me the part had been out of stock and there was a purchase order that said they had expected them the day before but they had no come in. I then asked him why no one ever had said anything about the part but they took the money right away he had no answer. I then asked him to cancel the order and issue a refund, which he said he would do. I said no it will happen now while I am on the phone with you and I want confirmation before I hang up. He said OK, there was a lot of typing and then he said he needed to put me on hold. He came back and said his supervisor had approved it and that I should see the money in my account in a few minutes. When I asked him for a receipt he said that was not possible because a sales person would need to actually void the order. I asked him why Customer Service could not do that and got the run around. When I asked to speak with someone who was higher up than him, I was put on hold and then told that all the supervisors had gone home for the weekend. The office is open only until 5:30 but the call center is open until 7, so there are no supervisors at all during this final hour and half? So I told him there had to be someone else higher than him and he needed to put that person on the phone. I was then transferred to Paul who informed me that Jim was not allowed or able to cancel orders or make refunds. So Jim obviously had lied to me. What gets me though is that a customer service rep is unable or allowed to cancel orders and issue refunds. Think about that for a moment: a customer service rep is unable or allowed to cancel orders and issue refunds. Mind blowing isn't it? So again this guy says that he can cancel the order but that the refund would not happen until Monday morning, because a sales agent had to make the refund...again another customer service rep who was unable or not allowed to issue refunds. When I said this was ridiculous he said that the staff complains all the time about it but that management never listens. I told him that I better had a refund confirmation first thing Monday morning I would be calling the BBB. I also asked to speak with his manager, who he forward me to his voicemail. After listening to his message I was ready to leave a very stern voicemail only to learn his mailbox would not take new messages because it was full. 10 minutes after they left! C'mon empty your voicemails if you are in charge of something. Turns out the BBB comment must have lit a fire under someone, because 10 minutes later I get an email from Paul saying he was able to track down a sales rep before they left for the day and get the refund. If you are going to do any business with them I would think twice about it. 0 out of 5 stars if I could.
