I am very impressed with this company and with Spencer Christoffel, the salesperson with whom I have dealt. I went to them to get information on setting up a basic recording system that I could use for recording my guitar playing. I had no knowledge of what was needed prior to my visit and Spencer completely understood my needs and explained my options in a clear and concise manner. He helped me select the equipment and even offered to answer questions that might arise while I was learning the software (Studio One Artist). I was able to set-up the system without any problems. The recording software has taken some time to learn - it strikes me as a fairly complicated program, probably because it is a fairly sophisticated and comprehensive program and deals with a subject that is completely new to me. I made it a point to not take advantage of Spencer's offer of assistance and was able to work through most of the questions with the help of YouTube videos and questions to their support staff. However, there were three questions that I sent to Spencer and, in each case, he answered them quickly, clearly and completely. All-in-all working with Full Compass has been a great experience.
Placed order. Did not ship, after five days and nobody contacting me, I decided to call and I was told the order was on hold b/c shipping and billing addresses were different. Account was charged, I was told it would take around 5 days to get the money back. Ruined a Christmas gift.
I've purchased new equipment here and repaired old. They are straightforward, honest, extremely knowledgeable and polite. I wouldn't say items are inexpensive, but that's because they carry the best gear... yet cannot be beaten on price. They know how to read people and aren't pushy about sales. I've had a refreshingly positive experience over my past view visits and am certain I'll return. My only beef I have is with their bankers' hours!
I've worked with Joe Marsden in the Full Compass rental department every year for the past four years to help us get equipment together for a large event at my employer. Each year it gets more and more complex and Joe always has an answer for our needs. The best part is the rentals are at such a fair price that it makes it easy to get quality equipment without having to worry about things failing or not working properly. If you have an event that you need equipment for, I highly recommend calling Joe Marsden at Full Compass and working with them.
While it feels "Old Fashioned" at first, establishing an account with a [real, human] sales rep to email and order from (rather than just putting things in cart and pressing send) is AMAZING. You can get questions answered and ask for recommendations and, usually, get a better price.
These guys are great, great prices, customer service and shipping. I will definitely be back

Sold me something they did not have and charged credit card nearly $3,000 -- so far it has been over a week and still have not had the pending charge released (so my card remains maxed out and i have nothing). This has never occurred with any other retailer i have dealt with. Called multiple times, they just don't seem to care.

I've had many contacts and friends in the filming/theater community recommend Full Compass when obtaining audio/video equipment. I was told their prices are fair and that the employees are very helpful. After today, not only do I believe such opinions, I share them.
I placed an order over the phone with a gentleman named Anthony. I explained that I needed audio gear for my filming needs and that I had to stay under a certain amount to meet my budget while obtaining high quality gear. Anthony provided exemplary customer service by displaying a genuine, positive attitude, listening to my needs and applying them to my desired outcome, and found me every item that I requested while being courteous in keeping me under the dollar amount that I expressed I couldn't exceed. He went above and beyond my desired expectations.
On site, I spoke to Josh about picking up my order and he couldn't have been more approachable. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and processed my purchase with ease.
My entire experience was better than I could have imagined. Full Compass knows how to business. People should take a moment to regard such positive, helpful interactions as the art of customer service is one to value. I will definitely be returning should I need equipment down the road.

I recently bought a line fader for my Pioneer DDJ SX2 while putting it back together the data ribbon got damaged on the mixer board. I searched all over for that board and the prices that I found were quite high. I reached out to Marty and he was able to get me the part at a great price. A life saver!!!!

I ordered a Yamaha 5 disc cd player on Monday and here I am today 3 days later using it. Truly lightning turnaround especially since Christmas is tomorrow. Their prices can't be beat and my sales rep even discounted it further to compensate for the sales tax. Brandon Jensen was my sales rep and he is super. Great company, great people, great prices and great customer service !!!
Ordered Beringer UCG102 seven weeks ago - at the time the website said it would ship in 3-5 days. Have not gotten it or gotten any communication from Full Compass about when I might get it. And currently their website says if you order today, it will ship in 7-10 days. Don't believe it!
Always great service. The sales representative had to call multiple people to pull an order out of their old system to make sure I got compatible parts, but they did! And even my obscure parts request was in stock and could be picked up immediately. You don't get service like this from a big box store!
I got my part without any problem but I ordered the wrong one. Went to look at how to return the part and they don't do returns or refunds unless the part was defective (and even then they just do exchanges). So this is more of a buyer beware.
Terrible. They forgot to put the order. Than i called them after 3 weeks and the person on the phone sounded like stoned. Very very high. I don't know how you guys doing the business like that.
The price of the soft synth was nice. But other merchants matched your price. The only problem is that I don't have possession of it yet. I took time off work to play with the synth I don't yet have.
It advertised shipping by email since its a software synth. Other merchants that I have shopped, instantly gave me access to the virtual instrument. With Full Compass, I have to wait days.

Great service-very helpful staff, got a good deal on my Hammond SK1 and it shipped to me the next day for no charge. This is a place run by pros for pros-they have all the high end stuff you won't find at Guitar Center or even Sam Ash. This is where I am buying my gear from now on!

The store is... blah. I went there to buy an electric guitar and over half of them had no price tag. How can one browse if one has no idea of cost. I wanted to buy a guitar there, but had no idea of cost. I have never been to a retailer that hid their prices. So strange. I did buy a nice new guitar yesterday, just not from this place.
I ordered 4 of the exact same replacement drum parts from them. After almost 2 weeks never recieved any conformation or any kind. So i called and the rep told me they are shipping today and got a invoice within minutes after. Once I recieved the parts. One of them was missing a key plate for mounting and I was sent washers instead along with the wrong size mounting screws. It was like someone opened the package, lost the plate and screws and found something that they thought would be close enough to work. Not happy at all.
