I paid $150 to have a heartfelt condolence arrangement delivered. I checked throughout the day of the scheduled delivery and confirmed the order had not been delivered although it was after 8pm. I contacted customer service and all of a sudden I received an automated message from the representative stating the arrangement was delivered just 2 minutes after I contacted FTD. The recipient advised they had not received a delivery. I informed the representative of the same. The representative advised he would cancel the order BUT if the arrangement is delivered AFTER the cancellation, they will direct the florist to go to the funeral and pick up the floral arrangement. This is the most unprofessional & shadiest company I ve encountered. Please do NOT give them your business!!!

The service was absolutely terrible! I ordered flowers for mother's day and did so over a week in advance. I received an email telling me that the flowers were scheduled to be delivered on Mother's Day. By that evening, no flowers has been delivered! I called and was first offered a small % off of my next order. I told them that I doubted I would order from them again. They increased the % and I was still not okay. I repeatedly asked for a supervisor and when I was finally transferred to one, I was offered a larger discount, an upgrade of my order and told it would be delivered the next day. The Monday after Mother's Day, still no flowers! Called again and was offered an additional 15% off of my order, by a representative that seemed to be new and not sure what was going on. Again, asked for a supervisor, more than once. Supervisor offered another discount and upgrade, said that the order was assigned to a different florist and would be delivered today. Tuesday after Mother's Day, NO FLOWERS! Called AGAIN and I could hardly understand the representative and I am a child of immigrants! Representative was rude and answered the phone with an abrupt "Hello!" I thought I may have reached the wrong number but she immediately offered to either cancel the order, with a refund or re order. I asked to speak with someone else and the agent said "So, you want to cancel the order? Okay, I will---" I had to practically yell to stop her and asked to speak to someone else. She put me on hold and while waiting, I receive an email that the order has been refunded. Seconds later, the agent says that there is no one available for me to speak to and that the order has been refunded. She started mentioning some other gibberish but I got tired of deciphering what she was saying and hung up!
I actually work as a customer service agent and have understanding of the stress that is involved in the job. THIS WAS TERRIBLE AND INEXCUSABLE! DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE, EVER!

Was contacted within hours of this post. They were very apologetic and remedied the situation. I appreciate their response but I am doubtful I will do business with them again. It took going online and posting an angry review to receive decent service. For the amount of money one has to pay for their flowers, their service through their phone agents should be better.

Horrible customer service. They emailed me twice that my order wouldn't be sent because they no longer had the item. Fine, the website probably should have been updated but okay, I understand. I replied to both emails for a solution, no response back. I then sent a message through thier website and get a call telling me they can help me pick a substitution. Great, I call back and now they can only offer me a refund. Didnt even give me an option to switch the item, didn't even try to recover the service. So disappointing. Will never even attempt to order from them again.

I ordered 2 bouquets of flowers to be delivered yesterday ,Friday, before Mothers Day to my 2 daughters here in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach. The daughter in Va, Bch. received hers but my other daughter in Chesapeake did not. After calling and one customer service agent telling me that the flowers would be here in 2 hours and that she would give me a call back to check.....neither happened, I finally talked to a supervisor and she enlightened me to the fact that it was because of extreme weather that my flowers were not delivered. After trying to tell her that I live in the same place as both and that we did not have any extreme weather all she would say was that she had to go by what was reported from the delivery agent. Not only is this company unreliable they are dishonest also. I will never order from FTD again. I would not have given them a single star but it wouldn't let me poet without.

I ordered 2 dozen roses for Mother s Day and requested them to be delivered the Friday before to be safe. The order arrived three days late and the flowers were completely dried out and all the leaves had fallen off. After 2 calls to customer service I am extremely frustrated and will NEVER order from them again! They are refunding my money and never even offered to replace them! Not only did they charge me $125 for a bouquet of flowers I could have spent $14 at my grocery store, they charged me $45 for miscellaneous fees. NOT including a delivery fee. They charged me $50 to get the biggest size they offered and was given the $35 version., the smallest! The flowers started dying the VERY nest day. I cut them and fed them. No excuse. The florist even cut my flowers PETALS. SCAM! GO LOCAL DIRECTLY. THIS PLACE IS NOTORIOUSLY BAD!!

Okay, I ordered a complete, $205 dozen'longstem'roses+chocolate+personalized'card+teddy'bear kit, ON VALENTINE'S DAY, to be delivered to my wife at work.

Well, after I ordered from FTD, I Googled them and oooh boy did I regret the purchase. Nevertheless, I held strong with optimism.

And, then I realized that I had given them the WRONG ADDRESS; my fault. I immediately contacted customer support. Just like the reviews said, the first gentleman was very hard to hear, and understand. The customer service center is very obviously outsourced (as are most CS phone centers for most US corporations). The rep knew I was having trouble both hearing and understanding him, so he said he would transfer me to someone who was much more qualified to help me. I was transferred to a lady (did not catch her name) who I could hear, and understand so much better.

I explained the error on my part (this was a huge mistake on my part, because the order was accidentally being sent to another city entirely), and she completely understood and proceeded to place me on hold while she scrambled to find a fulfillment florist who could deliver my order, to my wife at her correct place of work.

Remember: This was ON VALENTINE'S DAY.

A few minutes later she came back, apologized profusely for leaving me on hold for so long (it was only 3 minutes, and I told her there was no need for such apologies). She found a florist, scheduled the delivery for the correct address; we both thanked each other and ended the call.

ONLY TWO HOURS LATER I get a message from my wife: A photo of her smiling, with EVERYTHING I had ordered in the background, and a caption which said "I love you! Thank you SO MUCH!"

UNBELIEVABLE!

I'm not sure about all these negative reviews, but I ordered on the worst possible day, screwed up the delivery address, contacted support, fixed the issue, and two hours later my wife had her entire gift delivered.

For me, the experience was BEYOND EXCELLENT! Perhaps I am the exception? I doubt it. I assume most just don't like the outsourced reps, and take it personally, which is just plain silly.

Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to use FTD again.

I will NEVER order flowers through FTD again! I ordered flowers on April 30 for Mothers Day to be delivered on May 7....fast forward and the flowers are "missing" as of date. Customer Service was anything but helpful. I called every day to find out what was going on and the answer was, "We are sorry!". Really???
They took the money and did not deliver the flowers. I asked to have the phone # of the florist and they refused to give it to me. DO NOT ORDER FROM FTD! One star is being nice.

Mad as hell, ordered sympathy flowers for funeral the cost of the arrangement o purchase was $182. When the flowers arrived I noticed it wasn t the arrangement I selected instead it was a down graded size and totally different for the one I selected. I called customer service several times asking if I could receive the arrangement that I purchased. The representative assured me that the proper flowers would be sent. Never the less I never received the flower arrangement I ordered. Buyer be-ware it may be in ur best interest to purchase from a different company. I will never use this company again under any circumstance. I m strongly considering filing a small claims suit to recoup the money I lost.
