Every facility claims that they will treat your loved one like family. At Arvada Care Center, they really do treat your loved one like family. Everyone that I have spoken with has been wonderful, and the rehabilitation is top notch! I would not hesitate to place my family here again if needed!
A charming facility with dedicated staff, including a cohesive therapy team that has been together for years. The smaller facility allows for ongoing communication among staff and custom care for each resident s unique wants and needs
I've been in the community for 20 plus years! Arvada Care and Rehab isn't the newest, biggest or shiniest. However the the care here is among the best in the community and rated a 5 STAR by CMS. If your looking for a smaller, quaint, more individualized setting, this is your place! The TEAM here will go above beyond to meet the needs of each resident and family member. The nursing staff can handle very complex patients. Communication and transparency are at the top of the list. I sure wouldn't look past this facility if I had to place my mom or dad!
My mother was at this facility for rehab in 2020. They were very kind when I would call, etc but my mother constantly said the staff was mean to her. The admissions director was very good to my mom.
My mom begged me to pick her up every single day she was there. If you notice, the good reviews for this facility are completed by staff members or the owner. Do the staff get points for reviewing their employer? Scary! Also, they lost 3/4 of my mothers clothes. She went in with two overnight bags of clothes, but came home with 8 garments/not even one bag of clothes. I was never told to label her clothes and also requested that I do her laundry at home, but it was still taken to the laundry room. The last weekend my mother was there, this facility started testing positive for covid. My mother was covid positive 10 days after leaving this place. I also had med questions after I got my mother home, and was never called back. I inquired about her meds twice. Very grateful she survived covid, but never again.
Don't judge a book by it's cover. This is a small and perhaps a bit dated facility, but it is staffed with the most incredible people! My Mom was there for 5 months and was treated with the utmost respect and dignity the entire time. Saraha was instrumental in getting her approved for care and making her feel at home. Everyone from the nurses to the rehabilitation specialists to the social workers are truly caring individuals who dedicate themselves to the care of these residents. When it came time to move Mom to a different type of facility, Ryan couldn't have been more helpful.
The absolute best you can hope for, when moving a loved one into long term care is that the people are genuine, good-hearted and skilled in their disciplines. Arvada Care and Rehab has all of this and more.

I have had the pleasure of being part of the Arvada team for 7 years now. I love that we are a small facility. It is fun getting to know our residents on a more personal level. Whether they are here short term or long term, I love to hear their stories and connect with them and their families.
I have been here for a little bit over 2 years and everyone has treated me very good. Arvada, has a lot of good qualities, the staff here are dedicated to this building and the patients. Transportation by Arvada is provided to make sure I get to all of my appointments on time. I am happy here and I feel protected here.
As an employee here that has worked at other facilities, it has a family environment here both with the residents and staff. Seeing the connection that staff have with the patients both here for short term skilled and long term care, they connect with each of them to a level they know how to advocate for them. It feels great to be able to be part of a small community promoting care and family.
Arvada Care and Rehabilitation Center is a beautiful, quaint facility with amazing staff. Healthcare staff are knowledgeable, very experienced, loving, and attentive. They ensure each resident has an individualized care plan and thrives. Residents love BBQs on the large front porch and eating home-made donuts by the activity staff.
