This place was just awesome. Perfect place to eat for college kids. Their food proportion was just too much for one person to eat one dish.

Best fast food you can get in the area. Customize your burrito, taco etc. and enjoy! Not much space on the parking lot available, you might want to start looking for street parking when you're close

Great service. Chipotle style customization of burritos, bowls, nachos, and salads. Cool, kind employees. FYI: they also serve beer and have indoor/outdoor seating and bathrooms.

It's a great place to eat mexican good. One of the best in Santa Barbara.

Freebirds is a staple meal for people of Isla Vista, UCSB, Santa Barbara.
Great food, great memories, and many many late nights coming here...or semi early mornings with an unexplainable hangover.

Love my Freebirds, still the best location here.

Monster Veggie burrito is a lot of food for it's price

My steak quesaritto was excellent the steak tasted better than filet mignon, and the horchata with cinnamon topped it off. Oh and the salsa and chips were also super tastey and fresh.

Mexican coffee shop. A friend of mine had recommended me the burritos, which are good, even if expensive (11-15 $, even if the normal one is huge). It is located in Isla Vista, a student district adjacent to UCSB, very nice and, above all livable, it is possible to move on foot.

Phenomenal in every way. Best carne asada I've had and burritos bigger than my face.

Amazing nachos. Quesaritos. Just watch out for all the college kiddies texting on their bikes, not stopping at stop signs.

Delicious Mexican food for people with XL appetites. You can get a Monster burrito, which is massive! Or you can get a regular sized burrito, quesadilla, quesarito, or nachos that s still a huge portion!

I m told this food is best late night after a night out :)

Amazing shredded beef (birria) burritos. Drive an hour just to get them and it's so more than worth it.

Service was great. Comparable to Chronic Taco and Chipotle. If you like them you'll like Freebirds.

Prices raising faster than inflation. I remember when it was $5 for a burrito, which is still expensive.

If you are staying at ucsb's dorms, this place is a must to try out. I got there veggie (don't worry, they got plenty of delicious meats). nachos with BBQ sauce and that is great for 2. Great late night place that's walkable.

Food is delicious but expensive. Big portion sizes. Open late even on weekdays.

Awesome food. Big portions! With avocado prices high, guacamole is now $3, but I'd rather they raise the price and keep the quality high than use fillers like a lot of places do.

Despite being a classic burrito place in SB for a long time, it has remained excellent. Large burritos and excellent nachos. Good outdoor seating to watch all the student liveliness on street. Fast service and tasty food.

I love Freebirds. I've been going there for over a decade, even before I moved up here. Great food, good prices, open all the time.

Tastes good in the middle of the night but not as great when you're no longer hanging out with friends asunder the influence of alcohol.

Still a good burrito but tend to go for nostalgic reasons. They're open at all hours but no longer 24/7. And I still tend to get the queso-rito but there are better deals rather than paying ~$15/burrito

Very nice burrito place. Mixed crowd and fresh made food. A good place for families and students. It was a bit chilli in there, because all windows were open in early march. You can park the car right around the corner without fee.

Average burritos. Beans and meat are near flavorless.

Delicious, fast, and huge Mexican food. It is quite expensive compared to other places around but the food can last you two meals so the pricing isn't too bad.

Amazing food for an amazing price. Like an upgraded Chipotle but cheaper. Open super late so super convenient for late night munchies.
