Huge fail by this company! My account was sold to them by my former accountants. Long story short, my new account manager quit, no one told me, they failed to file my joint income tax return in time and tried to blame it on me because I didn't contact them to do it. What?! I own 2 salons and they were in charge of all my accounting, it was their job to make sure it was done on time. I gave them all the info and they still couldn't get it done. I subsequently fired them, requested all my material, which they refused to give me everything stating I owed them money. They tried to charge me for the incomplete 2013 tax return that wasn't finished or filed, plus they tried to do my 2014 business return after I fired them and added that into the charge as well. My new accountant had to do all of my book keeping for 2014 over because they did it wrong. I am taking action against them,
Excellent service all the way! Kim, the office manager is so kind, helpful and so quick to return emails and phone calls. From the very beginning Kim and Roger Fuller - (my Tax Accountant) made me feel at ease and took care of all of my needs even when i first walked in all stressed out at the last minute to get my taxes done. I brought all my paperwork in as a big giant tangled disorganized mess and right off the bat Roger made me feel calm and untangled everything and got back with me on all of my questions immediately and to my surprise got my taxes filed ON TIME with an expected refund even when i came in frazzled and stressed at The eleventh hour so to speak!!! They took my hand and walked me through every step of the way.
I am so grateful for both Kim and Roger Fullers kind demeanors, calming voices of reason, expertise and helpful guidance for an area that i am clueless about. I am so glad i was referred to EMF Tax for such important matters. I feel like i have someone looking out for me now and that is a comforting feeling.
