Four Seasons Resort Maui Reviews

My husband and I recently stayed here for our honeymoon. While it was a very beautiful place to stay our honeymoon was ruined upon discovering my diamond necklace was stolen by housekeeping. While I realize I should ve locked it up we left in a hurry and I incorrectly assumed that at a five star hotel as nice as the four seasons I wouldn t have to worry. The hotel appropriately responded to my missing item complaint and interviewed staff, however has done nothing since. They do not compensate for damages. If you do decide to come here lock any and everything up. Although there is a sign that nothing stolen from the safe is compensated either. So essentially don t bring anything you care about. We of course will never be returning.

Spago is best known for some of the best food here on the island unique and thoughtful dishes that tease the palate and make you want more

First class resort in Maui. Great ocean views with accommodations just steps from the beach.

The beach is great! Beach is right next to the hotel. Can get to the beach by walking towards the pool and going a little further down. Water is very clear and refreshing!

We spent (9) nights at the Four Seasons - Maui. Absolutely a wonderful experience from our initial contact with the hotel until the day we sadly left.

Not my favorite Four Seasons. The location is tightly packed offering very few rooms with a true ocean view. Only two elevators to the towers makes most rooms a walk. The room staff was good. February was a good time to be in Hawaii

Drinks at the beach bar are simply works of art. The view of the ocean is amazing. Great atmosphere and wonderful beach with snorkeling.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was exceptional! The staff is attentive and courteous, the service is prompt, and the rooms are beautifuly maintained. The concierge is very knowledgable and helped find activities that suited our interests. The breakfast buffet is top-notch and serves a wide variety of foods. You will never want to go home.
Suggestions: get a massage at the spa, wake up at 7 AM to reserve a lounge chair at the adults-only Serenity pool (or convince your husband to do it), get an ocean-view room, and don't eat at Spago.

Professional staff, amazing location. We really enjoyed our stay in Four Seasons Maui. You really feel in paradise.

Absolutely awesome! This is my new favorite place (and I've been to a lot of hotels). Once we got here we upgraded to an Executive Room (Room 803). Costs more but well worth it. Comes with access to an Executive Lounge (free drinks, food, and great customer service).
Our room had one of the best views in the whole place (over looking a Maui beach and the Pacific Ocean). Our room could not have been nicer.

Aloha! Arriving at the Four Seasons Maui was like stepping into a beautiful oasis of calm. The staff couldn't have done any more to make our stay enjoyable, they were so friendly and helpful, the food in every one of the restaurants delicious and the waiting staff knowledgeable about the dishes, even suggesting the best wines to accompany them. Thank you all. We can't wait to come back.

The service was stellar and the food was delicious! Having eaten at mostly all of the resort restaurants in Wailea, this was the best dinner I ve had so far!

Room was very nice and clean. It had an awesome lanai. Service was excellent and the staff was great. I would definitely stay here again.

Pricy, but good stuff. Two of the whiskeys I asked for that were on the menu they did not have available (the first two I asked for). Also, they have an old fashioned on the menu, but they but it over ice... It got watered down way too fast. You would think that at a resort like this they should K ow to put an old fasined over a block or sphere of ice in the cup... Not over a bunch of ice.

I loved this place, they will do everything for you. everything is comfortable and beautiful. The restaurants aren't that amazing, but there are plenty in the immediate area. This is the only resort I would stay at on Maui!

Without a doubt the best hotel in Maui, incredible facilities, very nice, splendid rooms, exquisite service and all kinds of amenities. You can not ask for more...

A gorgeous resort with the consistent Four Seasons branding and color but not at par with its renowned service perhaps due to its immense size. The resort s impressive scale and the view from the adult only pool lived up to its name, but in comparison to its Maui neighbor Andaz where we had stayed at previously, Four Seasons Maui was simply not as memorable. The check in process lacked a personal touch that could have included a warmer and personalized welcome and perhaps a schedule of available activities and the happenings around the resort. The adult only pool could have been a bit more efficient about trying to find seats for the guests instead of texting us two hours after we had put down our name. The rooms were clean and spacious, but again, lacked a distinctiveness and a bit too far off from the elevators. We also suffered from not having much food choices after 10pm.

Again the location and the view especially from atop the adult pool is really unbeatable, but not sure if this resort over Andaz or Ritz would be my choice next time I m in Maui.

Amazing hotel for a honeymoon! My husband and I were very pampered on our honeymoon when we stayed here. Wailea is a nice and quiet part of the island, so we were super relaxed. Also if they have any availability, they ll give you a huge room upgrade for your special occasion!

We really enjoy this hotel property. Very comfortable and attentive staff. There are some nice sitting areas around the property to get away from the crowd when it's high season. Have enjoyed our experience at most of rhe restaurants on property as well.

Perfect experience while staying on Maui. Service, food, rooms, and overall quality was exceptional. Prices were high, but that comes with the experience you get.

Hands down, the best resort we've ever stayed at. The service was top notch from the front desk to the service staff to the concierge desk. Amenities were spotless, entertainment was terrific and the restaurants were all fantastic. I couldn't think of a single thing the FS staff could have done to make the trip any better. We truly can't wait to come back one day very soon.

From the minute we arrived every member of staff was phenomenal!! From the front desk, to the bartender, everyone was so accommodating and informative. The hotel itself is top notch and the beach below is arguably the best in Maui. We will be back!!

Very expensive for what they offer. Big resort. Little atmosphere.

Welcome to the most racist resort in America, friends.

In just a matter of a few hours, I witnessed an African American couple told to "turn off their music" when Jay-Z blared from a party boat in the water (and was obviously not broadcast from them). I then witnessed a good ten minute conversation at the pool - right next to me and my of-Mexican-descent husband about how Mexicans were better room cleaners than Hawaiians with a subsequent bonus comment from a woman who says she keeps her daughter away from them. It was so incredibly and openly racist that I had to (or rather my husband forced me to) leave.
What. The. Actual. F.
I travel on business nonstop and for personal purposes quite a bit and this is the most unwelcoming atmosphere I've experienced.

You couldn't pay me to come back here, let alone charge me $1200 a night.

The hotel experience can't get any better. Magnificent people and gorgeous hotel. Will return.

Service wasn't bad, but for the price and the place you would expect better. Beautiful place, great food.
