My husband and I booked our first couple massage on our honeymoon. The experience was amazing and the staff are very welcoming. The prices are high but I would never go anywhere else. Hearing the ocean while being completely relaxed and catered to is priceless. Thank you so much for the most phenomenal experience.

Ate at restaurant, food was fantastic!! Two hostess chics were friendly, funny and hot. Wait staff was professional, and spot on with recommendations. Cotton candy was nice touch, although a bit weird.

Four seasons is a very nice place and very overpriced, normal beer you can get anywhere for $5 will cost you $10 here.
The service is good actually our server was excellent. You're definitely paying for the name cuz I've been to resorts and hotels that were nicer and didn't cost as much. They have a lot of restaurants here, they sell art in the lobby, it's right up on the beach. The restaurants here is okay for the price you're paying you would think you'd be a lot better quality food

Wonderful resort that made for a fabulous vacation! This is the second time that I have stayed at the Four Seasons and I would not stay at any other hotel. Between the lovely rooms, incredible staff, and delicious food and drinks (don't miss out on the blueberry mojiitos by the pool) I could not think of a more perfect vacation with my two boys. This hotel is exceptional!

The staff are so accommodating. Everyone has been so nice. The resort is absolutely beautiful and clean. The ballrooms are fantastic as they have 2 screens for the conference making it better to see where ever one sits.

Compared to other five star properties we have stayed at, this place just came up short on multiple levels. I would say the only five star element of this property is how pleasant most of the staff is. The property itself is nice, especially the common areas, but I wouldn t consider it to be anything mind blowing, especially for the price point.

Now for the issues.

Their reservation system for the pool chairs. I can t even refrain from rolling my eyes long enough to write this.
We got to the pool in the morning and all the chairs were allegedly already reserved. It was a Tuesday and the resort wasn t busy at all. We walked through the fountain pool area multiple times, and never saw people or belongings on at least 25% of the chairs that we couldn t use because they were allegedly reserved . And no, I m not talking about the paid reservation sections. Just the standard chairs. We asked an attendant to be added to a list and he said he would return to help us, then disappeared and never returned. It became a joke where we would purposely walk through the pool area just to see the same chairs sitting empty (no people or personal belongings on the chairs, and clean, dry, untouched towels) for several consecutive hours after they told us we couldn t use them. That level of pretentiousness and disorganization alone would prevent me from coming back and spending $750/night. Pretty unbelievable when you think about it.

The next big issue: the breakfast. I understand that high end resorts are always a price gouge, so that was to be expected, but at over $100 for two people for breakfast, I would expect the food to be good. The quality was what I would expect at a 3 star hotel, zero exaggeration on my part. The coffee was some of the worst I ve had in my adult life.

The rooms, while not horrible, definitely felt like a 4 star hotel. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Also, for some reason, the TV was offset from the center of the bed by about 4 feet. I guess they did that so they could cram an unnecessary sofa into the room to add the illusion of luxury and spaciousness? They need to fire the interior designer who made that decision. The bathrooms also seemed a bit dated.

Overall, it felt like a four star hotel. The only thing that would suggest otherwise was the exorbitant price tag. After staying here I am genuinely shocked and confused by how high the guest ratings are for this hotel. This was our first time staying at a Four Seasons hotel and it will definitely be our last. All hype and no substance.

I would also like to add that I ve seen management respond to multiple reviews complaining about the pool chair reservation system. Quit trying to justify and defend a broken system. Either fix the broken system or don t, but don t continue to patronize guests who have already received poor customer service from a resort undeserving of a five star rating.

AMAZING! We got a room with two queens and it was double the size most other rooms in Wailea. The costumer service was amazing. When we arrived we found a cookie, some trail mix, POG, and Maui Rootbeer, and Champagne. The fridge is empty which means you can use it for whatever you want. At the beach staff will get you a chair to put on the beach. The Fararo s restaurant was a little slow in service but the wait was definitely worth it. This hotel may seem really expensive but if you consider the free things that come with the room it is worth it. The poolside service was very good (but experience). The pool staff came around so many times while I was still just discussing the menu with my family but when we actually wanted to order later there was no one coming around. But later that night we found a bite of apology along with chocolate truffles in our room. The last thing I want to mention is Mr. Smiles (Scott Miles). He takes photos for free on your device. All you need to do is talk to the concierge and set up an appointment and show up. He takes amazing photos! Also the rooms were very clean!

In the crowded resort region of Wailea, FSMaui stands above the rest in terms of service, quality, and amenities. Staff members are available 24/7, and 360 (everywhere you go). The adult pool really does get full quickly and early!

Been here many times and always have a fantastic time. It's easy to relax as soon as you get there as the staff are incredibly friendly as the place is amazing.

Food at Ferraro's is great with unbelievable beach views. Spago's needs a reservation for a good table otherwise I'd skip that place as some seats are in a busy area.

The fitness classes are very good - especially the spin and SUP yoga.

Hands down my favourite resort in Hawaii.

5 Star Service, through and through! All of the employees of the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea embody the spirit of Aloha and it shows in their communication with our team, each and every time! As a vendor that works regularly with this resort, it is a pleasure to do business with all of you!

This hotel is the most beautiful hotel in Maui. The amenities are incredible and what one would expect of a four seasons. We especially enjoyed the adults only infinity pool. The hotel is expensive, but well worth the cost. If you are going to complain about the cost of a pina colada, you have no business staying here. It is a five star experience, with a five star price tag, but for the discerning traveler who expects a beautifully maintained property with phenomenal service, this hotel is worth every penny.

This isn't the best Four Seasons, and the recent addition of the Andaz down the road means it will have to up its game. The pool area is dominated by families, though those wishing for an adult beverage have several outdoor bars and restaurants at which to escape. The grounds are manicured and the indoor lobby area is expansive. You can also check out the good at nearby shops displayed throughout the lobby.

The Four Seasons is the definition of spoiled when it comes to spending time in Maui. The staff are incredibly attentive, kind and welcoming at every corner. The rooms are large and everything has a view. They will try to do anything to make your stay more memorable and comfortable and we absolutely love each moment we stay there. When heading to Maui, the Four Seasons is top of the list for us.

Very commercial and money minded place . If you take package with buffet and pay for it , still you need to pay for juices and coffee. You need to be careful with your bills as they over charge , they will block unnecessary amount on the credit card . Highly disappointed , it s not a 5 star standard at all . Would never recommend anyone

Beautiful resort. Very dedicated to customer service and ensuring visitors have an exceptional experience. Went above and beyond expectations. I m particularly impressed that staff remembered our names at such a large resort and were incredibly friendly, more than willing to assist with anything we needed, even if it didn t seem to be their job.

Upscale hotel with beautiful rooms and grounds, great service and wonderful staff. I enjoyed every minute of my stay and really liked the fact that the hotel offered so many fitness classes. The restaurants are amazing, ranging from casual to fine dinning. There is nightly live entertainment at the lobby bar with delicious drinks and sushi. Looking forward to future trips. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you

This was my first time staying at the four seasons...

This was my first time staying at the four seasons and it is a beautiful resort. I'll start off with the great things! The food at the pool was fabulous. Any time there was an issue, the staff would fix it right away. We spent most of our days at the Cabanas by the family pool, the staff would bring us some water, cold towels and Cumber. They also give us smoothies and snacks, sometimes there would be a gardener cutting fresh coconuts for people to drink by the pool and it's complimentary. Had no trouble getting Cabanas at the family pool, even when we were looking later in the day around 11 or 12. (We went from jan 4-12 so if you are going when its busier I have heard it's hard to find seats) The room service is incredibly! Now since it was our first time staying we didn't know that you can almost ask for anything and they will try to make it happen, and if we stay again we will definitely use it more especially on some of the points I'm going to make for the bad section. So, the bad. There isn't much to talk about but the biggest issue I had was with the shower head. (which would probably have been fixed if I asked) The head was about 50% clogged and would spray everywhere. Also I found the room would get a little humid for me even with the AC on and especially when the housekeeping turned up the thermostat and the AC would turn off. There was a minor nuisance when the housekeeping would forget to restock the sugar and I had to call down twice to get some for my morning coffee. Would like to see more daily activities especially for young adults. Overall a beautiful resort with amazing service if you aren't worried about money.

Truely excellent hotel with very attentive and helpful staff (as you might expect). The hotel itself is stunning with a variety of pools and access to a secluded area of beautiful beach (which faces toward the sunset. Protip: on the beach cut through the rocks to the far left to find a small hidden stretch of beach cut off from the more obvious area).

Beautiful resort, the nicest I've ever seen. My wife and I spent the last few days of our honeymoon here. Customer service is second to none, everyone goes out of their way to be helpful and gracious. Beach and pools are amazing - particularly the infinity pool - though it would be nice if one of the pools had a deep end (only five feet in deepest part). Totally baller experience.

My wife and I met our friends for a cocktail at the bar to enjoy the sunset. There is a decent selection of wines by the glass, beers and mocktails. There signature cocktails were exceptional and potent (two was plenty). The service was super and the view was breathtaking. I would suggest arriving 1 hour before sunset for staking out seating near the edge, but even the areas more interior are great. There was live music from 5:00pm until 8:00pm that was not too loud and very enjoyable. It is a romantic spot that is worth stopping in for dinner and a drink.
